  1. Red returned to the spot she had been hunting on the day before. Luckily she had marked it on her map, so as to allow her a chance to find it again easily. Last time she had managed to kill so many wasps in such a short time, that she was certain that a nest was present here. Today she was going to destroy some more and hopefully earn a few more materials. She approached the tree line hesitantly, poking into the brushes with her spear. "C'mon... I know yer there." She hissed apprehensively. A moment later and the familiar buzzing filled the air, much like it had before. She smiled taking a few steps back to watch and wait to see what would come out of the bushes. Last time she had stumbled on them, this time she had started to antagonize them right off the bat, meaning she was not surprised when three rose up out of the thicket.

The wasps rose up quickly, much like before, circling around for a moment before smashing headlong into the ground where she had been. Luckily she had now become a bit of an expert on the subject and evaded with surprising agility, rolling back, before launching her own attack. "Haymaker" She called out as she swung in with a retaliation strike against her insect opponents. Unfortunately she too missed her attack, swinging wide and over their collective heads. In a flash Red recovered and raised her shield as 3 more wasps rose from the thickets. That's right, these things come in threes she thought with a frown.

  2. "Yeah, the Blades have been great. They took me in without a second thought." In truth they had been more than amazing to her, offering her a place to to base herself out of, and providing the kinship she needed to get settled into her new life. "They are growing fast. I hope to earn a spot as an officer one day." She added with a smile. She wanted to see them grow into something big, and to be part of that. Strangely It wasn't until they started speaking of the guild, that she noticed her Commander had arrived with Shirosu. The pair seemed to steal the show as they hit the dance floor in a grand fashion. They really were a confident pair, she thought to herself thoughtfully before returning back to her current conversation.

"Well, I was pretty surprised by the invite too. We only talked for a bit, and it wasn't anything special, nothing worth warranting notice." She said while touching her chin in a thoughtful manner. "No, He didn't save me from a boar, or anything." She laughed bouncing her hip into Takao's playfully. "And now that your here, I expect you to save me from any other trouble I get in to." She said with a happy wink.

She took another look around at the festivities unwinding around them. everything was so nice, and everyone seemed to be smiling and having fun. It was great to see a real world here, with real people just relaxing. In a way it was almost magical. All the women were dressed like princesses, and the men were handsomely clothed. For a moment she felt like she was at one of those balls from the old fairy tales. She moved in to stand beside him now, closer than before and sighed happily. "It really is nice."

A moment later and the scene was interrupted by the gentle rumble of her tummy. She giggled again, looking up at Takao with a smile. "Sorry, I haven't eaten in a bit." She said in an almost embarrassed voice. "Would you mind escorting me to get a quick bite to eat?" As she asked she reached up and linked her own arm in Takao's pulling herself closer.

Red Charged in after the boar again, this time pushing in closer to the beast than she had before. "Haymaker" She yelled out as she swung her spear like a giant club, finally managing to connect with the animals head in a grand strike. Unfortunately the Boar was not amused, and rather than stumble back, it simply tossed its head, and charged into Red, knocking her backwards. She hit the dirt rather hard as it pressed its tusked Maw into her shield trying to get to the tiny girl underneath. A string of angry cussing, that would have made a sailor blush rang out from reds lips as she finally managed press the animal back, getting to her feet in a shaky fashion. Luckily her Regen had kicked in with the boars strike, or she'd be in a lot worse shape.

  4. From her vantage point behind the Golem Red was unable to see Ariel's attack. Instead rather, one moment she was looking up at a monster, and the next it disintegrated in a  hail of blue pixels. Afterwards though she was then able to clearly see Lawfer, and Ariel again, with Ariel sheathing her blade. It was obvious to Red that She had finished the beast. It had not been an attempt to make them look or feel bad however, as they were doing alright against it. Instead she assumed it had to do with safety. A lot of creatures became enraged the longer they fought, doing more damage, and becoming a bigger threat. She had simply guaranteed their safety and swiftness on this quest.

Without hesitation Red crossed the snow where the monster had just been so that she could rejoin her group. Lawfer had asked about the next step, and for a moment Red had wanted to blurt out that they should find the Avalanche before it got any colder. Instead however she simply waited in silence, watching to see what each person would do, and what they thought the best ideas were. Without warning though a comment about a certain summer loving snowman had emerged. Red looked over at Lawfer, with an eyebrow raised as if to question his motives. In truth she had loved the movie, and the thought of killing the delightful little snowman was actually distressing.

  5. Red entered the forge slowly and carefully. She had never actually stepped foot in a place like this before, and wasn't entirely sure what to expect. This forge belonged to the Grand Master of her guild, Mack. He was supposed to be as legendary with an armorers hammer as he was with a weapon. Inside the forge smelt of sweat and Iron, and smoke and dust. It was rustic and real and for a brief moment Red had to close her eyes and soak it all in. Once satisfied she quickly approached the counter and cleared her throat to get Macks attention. "Excuse me, Grand Master. I have an urgent request. A friend of mine needs items of the highest quality and I think you can make what she needs." Red started without skipping a beat. She was nervous to ask for his services, he had after all done so much for her, and she had not been able to do too much in return. "I have these I can Offer you." She said as she pulled open her inventory and deposited 20 Materials into the Forge Vault. As she had been explained this was a one way transaction. She could technically deposit anything, but never could she take anything out. If the merchant or whomever didnt like they could give it back. She then pulled out a piece of paper with the specs for the armor and shield she wanted.

  6. Red looked down at her dress with a giant smile and pulled at it nervously when Takao mentioned how she looked. She was trying to look ok, with her hair done up and nice clothes, but he thought she looked amazing. This caused her to flush up again, and for a moment she found herself unable to speak. Once she managed to regain her composure she raised her own green eyes to meet up with his. She always did like green eyes. "Oh you Like it?" She said trying to sound nonchalant about it. "It's just a thing I found. But you look great." Her voice trailing off while she leaned closer to him, standing on her tip toes, and reaching her hand up to straighten his collar. This was just a natural instinct for her, and she hadn't even noticed she was doing it. "I've been doing so well. Much better than when you found me" She chuckled as she lowered herself back down again. Her flush had settled down a bit now, and she felt a little more relaxed, despite her heart still racing nervously.

"It's a shame he couldn't make it." She said in reference to Takao's familiar. He was a darling little creature, or rather had at least appeared to be, and she was sure he was going to be sad that he missed the party. She felt better now that things had started to progress, or rather that they had at least begun to talk. Clearly though she still hadn't gotten over his daring rescue of her from the other day. She still pictured it clearly in her mind, how the rampaging animal was going to do her in, when out of no where Takao showed up and saved her, before they shared a passionate... She blushed again as her mind wandered. She gave her head a quick shake before thinking to herself that it hadn't actually happened quite like that.

"So how do you know Zel? I just met him the other day on floor 2."

The Pair with larger stingers, Knights as her display indicated, were moving a little slower than the other two. No doubt they had an increased attack value, and subsequently a more accurate attack. The other two were normal, and buzzed around angrily, and even took a few practice swoops at her. She avoided them easily, waiting for the real attack run. She needed to concentrate now, she definitely did not want to have one of those knights land an attack, so she would need to win on the first strike again. In a flash she pulled open her menu, activating the passive ability called <Concentrate> that she had won from the Gemini. It would grant her a better chance at landing a successful attack.

The buzzing over head seemed to grow more agitated and in a quick fit of anger the Wasps all lashed out again. The smaller wasps hit the dirt first, making the same thuds they had earlier. The Knights came in right behind, crashing with a more imposing thud than the others. This was her chance, and as far as she knew her only chance to make this stick.

"HAYMAKER" The tank shouted as she brought her spear around in a massive arc. The pole arm once again connected with each of her opponents, though she assumed in this case her ability helped greatly. She let out a quick cheer as the foursome shattered into fragments before she quickly retreated from her hunting ground. She did not want to continue fighting right now, but marked the spot on her map for future hunts. It had been a very successful event today, and she would have plenty of loot to turn in when she got back.

With the instruction to switch in Red took action. "Right!" She yelled to Lawfer as she ran in at the beast that had appeared so suddenly. He had manage to deliver it a destructive blow, causing it to stop in its tracks due to the strikes against its legs. As he backed up she could see it watching him now, its beady eyes trailing after the little man in the snow. Now she had a chance to gain its attention, or at the very least deliver it some damage. With the gap closed She was able to see just how slow it actually was. In fact negotiating her way towards it felt almost easy. The Lumbering giant seemed almost passive compared to other speedy opponents she had faced. "Haymaker" She called out as she swung her spear at the Golem's legs.

She was forced to abandon her attack at the last moment however as the Golem's foot came down nearly on top of her. It wasn't attacking, it was just stepping lazily around, and if she hadn't of rolled out of the way, it would have crushed her easily. "..." Red cursed loudly as she cleared the massive foot. It seemed to have its gaze fixed on Lawfer, and even went to swing a fist at him. Like red it too missed, no doubt distracted by the woman scurrying around it's feet. Red rolled safely away to a spot behind it, raising her spear and shield again as she continued to approach it. She wasn't afraid, nor would she back down. "I wont miss again"

The first  boar went down quickly, hitting the dirt and exploding into blue fragments of Data. She let out a quick triumphant whoop before turning to choose another target. Not far off was another boar of the same size, which meant it boasted the increased HP that its predecessor had as well. Another worth while target if she did say so. Now though she wanted desperately to hit it, landing that crucial first strike to keep it off of her ally. She needed hatred. Such a thought seemed bizarre to her, who in their right mind wanted something to hate them? Tanks, like her. She shook her head dismissing the silly thought as she pointed out the next target. "Shirosu. That one there. The big one." She roared without wasting a second to charge the next target.

As she closed the gap Red locked up her legs sliding into place while setting up her attack. Like before the system triggered beautifully, drawing back her arm and guiding her into a smooth Focused Strike. Unfortunately, her slide fell just a foot short, and so too did her attack, missing the boar entirely. In a flash it responded plowing into her with its mighty tusks. Reds only chance was to raise her shield high, putting her trust in the steel, and the steel between her and the beast. The loud clang of the boar hitting the solid object rang out, and for a second the pair were deadlocked, That is until Red pressed her weight against the shield, turning it slightly, and dragging its sharpened edges across the boars face. It let out a displeased squeal, before she managed to push it away and fall back. Her own wounds had healed again, no bout the effects of her equipment triggering again. "Your up." She called out.

  10. The sun had just started to set on floor 1. Its soft orange light illuminated the world bathing it in a brilliant autumn shine. To many this was the time to be out and about, either to look for monsters, or just simply to enjoy the details of the game. For Red_rose, a newly started adventurer it was the second, being a beautiful time of day to simply relax for a bit. She had been working so hard this last week, fighting monsters, and completing quests, that she had forgotten to stop and appreciate the simple beauty of the day. In truth she had very rarely taken this time before hand. Often choosing to feel bad for her circumstances rather than appreciate the good, however with her newfound sense of Vigor and determination, she was starting to notice many new things about the world of Aincrad.

Primarily her sense of wonder and appreciation had improved. Much to that of being in awe of the genius that it took to create something like this. Yes it was under unfortunate circumstances that she was here, but she shouldn't let that overshadow the effort, and time that was taken in this. Even now she could feel the warmth of the setting sun on her skin, she could see the light reflecting effortlessly off the shimmering pond nearby, and smell the beautiful lilies that grew around it. Each one of these details was a piece to a much larger picture that she was finally now starting to appreciate. There was more too now. She had developed friendships. Actual personal bonds to other players and it turned out they were just normal people too. Some were guild members, whom she would fight beside and needed to develop a trust with, but others were just people she had met and talked to. In fact just the other day she had gone to a birthday party on the invite of Zelrius, a front liner.

The small blonde girl let out a satisfied sigh as she reclined against the rock that was at her back. Days like this were what made this place tolerable, she thought with a smile. It was then that she was suddenly alerted to a message in her inbox. Slowly she opened her eyes, staring at the notification and debating on opening it right away. After a moment of thought she decided check it out, and if it was nothing important ignore it till another time. She lazily raised a hand clicking on the icon, and sat straight up as she read the message. it was from takao, he wanted to see her at his shop. He had even included directions. This was truly unexpected, as she hopped up to her feet. Was she dressed appropriately? Was he wanting to Hang out, or "Hang Out?" As had been the trend these last few days, a million questions flew through her mind. Finally she decided to simply go and see. After all she was looking better than the day they had met. Now at least her hair was tied back, and she had a nice white dress to wear, even if it did have a few steel plates sewn on. And if it was a problem she could hide under her cloak with no problem.

It took her nearly 30 minutes to get to a warp gate, and from there nearly 10 more to get to the address she had been given in the message. Finally though she arrived at the rustic looking cafe. She took a moment now, using her hands to press out any wrinkles that may have gathered on her dress, as well as make sue her hair was tied back properly before entering. The door had been left slightly ajar, so she assumed she was allowed to just walk in. "Hello?" She called out, as she gently closed the door behind her. She looked out through the room, and noticed Takao's sword and scabbard laying nearby on one of the tables. Clearly he was here. She took a deep breath enjoying the smells of the little shop, before taking another step, stopping when she caught sight of the boy sitting at another nearby table. "Oh, I'm sorry for just walking in... The door was open."

  11. Zelrius was just as she remembered him from the other day. Confident, cool, and in control. She could also see how popular a player he really was as more and more people flocked to him to give their best regards. It brought a smile to her lips to see he had actually carved out a life for himself here in this digital world. That was something to consider as well, could she actually live here? clearly it was possible, so maybe there was a chance. AS more and more people arrived she slowly backed up giving them all a chance to gather, she was still a little nervous, and each one of these people actually looked like they belonged here. All of them had the same confidence that comes from experience, something she desperately lacked.

It was as she was backing up that a voice caught her attention. Not just the voice, but someone saying her name. She turned quickly looking up in time to see that she had almost backed into Takao. She blushed sharply, almost matching the red of her dress. She hadn't been expecting to run into him here, but it did make sense, he was a front liner. That also meant she knew at least one other person here other than the the host of the party. "Hi there." she said shyly looking up into his green eyes. She had meant to comment on how he looked but was quickly distracted By Zelrius's little introduction. It was short and sweet and much to the point, have fun, and enjoy. It made sense as this was a birthday party. He ended with the use of a crystal that began playing some music. Nothing to crazy, but something nice and fun in the background. It truly was a nice detail that was appreciated.

"So how have you been?" She asked Takao nervously. "Oh, Where is your little friend?" She asked just noticing that his familiar was nowhere to be seen.

  12. Red smiled as Ariel directed her to Act herself rather than being polite for Politeness sake. While she was an eagerly respectful person, it was nice knowing that she no longer had to go through the motions for the time being. It was also nice knowing that she no longer needed to hold her tongue so sternly, though she wondered how far such a freedom would actually extend. A stray gust of wind came up on the trio, forcing a shiver down Red's spine, luckily since she had been facing Ariel, the gust had been at her back, The other girl had not been so lucky as the wind lifted her cloak revealing her chosen battle attire. It was after that that she revealed herself to be another DPS build, though Red could tell she was of incredible power compared to most.

Suddenly she realized just how small she was in comparison to the other two party members. Having just hit level 5 herself, and all of that coming from a single quest, she had not had much chance to practice or become comfortable with her new skill sets. Still, given how powerful they were She would make sure to do her best and Rely on them as best as she could. "Well, Lets get this underway" she said with a smile, pulling her cloak tighter around herself. While the temperature was an inconvenience she would not allow it to interfere with things later. Once they started fighting she would ignore it all together and do what she had to do.

  13. It had been quite the shock when Red had awoken to the message inviting her to the birthday party for the front liner known as Zelrius. Yes she and him had shared some time together on floor two, though It had been brief but it seemed that she had made a good impression on him. Needless to say that still didn't mean she had any idea of what to do or where, or anything in that manner. In traditional MMO's if someone had a birthday and friends they might all log in together and play while using a program to chat, but here in SAO such things were non existent. In this case there was a real party, with real people, for a real person.

Now though as she stood at the edge of the field looking in at all of the preparations that had been made. Furniture was set up, tables and chairs and such, as well as what looked like a veritable feast. Her own stomach rumbled at the sight of the food, She was hungry today, like most days, and like most days in her hurry to prepare for the days events she had forgotten to eat. But she was not one to simply charge over and eat, even in the real world that was just bad manners. Instead she would greet her host, the birthday boy, and after a bit sneak over to have a bite. Of course she would need to work up her nerve a bit before she could even do that. Aside from being hungry she was incredibly nervous. This was after all her first event like this, and she was almost certain that everyone here would be legendary front liners. She was certainly under classed for such an event.

After a few moments of insecurity she finally worked up enough courage to approach the event. Her heart began to race as she realized, that with all of her concerns, she was now one of the only people here. She was too early. Still her smile did not wane as she got closer to Zelrius. As she neared him, moving gently between the tables and chairs, she pulled up her menu and unequipped the crimson guild cloak that she had taken to wearing. As it vanished in a blue light it revealed the simple red dress that she had purchased earlier in the day. Her hair was also tied back in a white ribbon, to keep it from getting in her face.

[color-red]"Zelrius. Thank you for inviting me. Everything looks so wonderful." She said happily as she approached him, giving the man a quick hug. "I was shocked when I got your invite and... Well Happy Birthday."

  14. Lawfer introduced his build, a two handed spear DPS. She hadn't see anything like that yet, though judging by her own spear use she made a few immediate assumptions. The first was that he was a medium or long range player. In SAO there weren't proper long range attacks, but those who utilized weapons with long reach, such as spears, were very dangerous. The second thing was that he would be incredibly destructive. After watching how easily her own spear tore through mods, she could venture a guess as to how powerful a two handed spear was. Not to mention the increased length of the weapon would no doubt increase the damage it dealt as well. "Thank you. I hope to do you and the Blades proud" She said in response to his welcoming of her.

She wondered for a moment what kind of build Ariel had opted for, as Lawfer seemed confident in her abilities. Perhaps she was some other tank, something indestructible, and unbreakable. Red had met one of those, a legendary tank from the beginning of the game. Or maybe she was some amazing DPS from the front lines, killing floor bosses in a single strike, similar to the way she imagined Takao, or Zelrius. Either way she would no doubt see soon, and certainly gain a few stories to tell from this adventure. There was a certain level of excitement coursing through the air, the same kind of excitement that she had felt when she fought the Gemini. "I am as ready as I can be." As she spoke she closed her cloak around her again shutting out the cold from her small form for the time being.

Red wasted no time in equipping the new armor item she had found. Once activated her old garments were instantly replaced by the white and red dress. It felt silky against her shin, but still seemed to offer some protection in the various steel plates sewn onto the delicate fabric. She also took a quick second to use the hair tie from earlier to secure the loose locks of hair that threatened her vision. The wasps seemed oblivious to her changes as they continued to circle around again.

Red smiled now, feeling more confident. She could Repel more damage now, ensuring her survival against these pitiful creatures. "C'mon..." She shouted at them, trying to antagonize the Mobs into speeding up. For a moment they seemed to ignore even her taunts, as well as the offensive stream of cussing that followed. But before long they too eventually fell victim to the same strategy that had killed all the others before, and they all too pelted the earth while she rolled away.

"HAYMAKER" Red shouted as she launched another vicious attack, swinging her spear into the unsuspecting insects, connecting with each one. More pixels filled the air as they seemed to evaporate into nothing but Data. She was getting tired of this and was considering taking a rest when another wave, this time different and larger than before entered the fray.

Four wasps, or rather two wasps and two wasps with bigger stingers rose from the treeline and began their own attack run.

  16. Red Smiled and bowed her head as the Girl introduced herself. So this was in fact the Ariel that she was supposed to be meeting. It would seem that luck was in fact on her side with that being the case then. The other party member, the man from her guild, she didn't recognize him, though that hardly surprised her as she was still very new. "I'm Red. Well My Avatar is Red Rose, but so far everyone calls me Red." She smiled a little realizing she had no reason to explain that as they probably could already have guessed that. "I am a tank in training, with the Crimson Blades." That was an important part to explain as it would effectively set up her role in this quest. As far as DPS went, she wasn't awful but there was a lot of room for improvement. , and as a tank she was just starting out, but getting better.

As she spoke she opened up her cloak revealing her Shield, and spear, to show that she was in fact a beginner tank build. "It was recommended that I join you on this quest so that I can become stronger." She said with another bow. "Thank you for having someone as low as me." She bowed again politely as she spoke. Through this all Red was trying incredibly hard to curve her rather fowl mouth, and avoid unnecessary cussing.

  17. Red Smiled happily as the portal around her subsided exposing her to the winter wonderland that was floor 4. Here the snow was always fresh, the air always crisp, and the drinks always warm. It was a nice place, if not for the fact that it was so cold. Her smile vanished quickly as she tightened her guild cloak around her stepping away from the portal and making her way into the Plaza. She had received a Private message earlier, along with all of the blades, informing her that a quest would soon be under way to help players get stronger. This was something she was certainly interested in, and subsequently her reason for coming here today. The person she was supposed to meet was a woman named Ariel.

She sighed as she began walking through the freshly laid snow. as she did she pulled up her inventory and removed from it an item called the Field Rations Kit. It was supposed to be a quick meal, with the ability to temporarily boost a players HP by a few points. The little package of food didn't look very appetizing to say the least, in fact it reminded her of spagetti-o's in a ziploc bag. Unfortunately she had skipped breakfast in her excitement to get here, and was forced to eat the rather dubious looking meal. Surprisingly it didn't taste awful, and if not for the texture she may have actually enjoyed it.

Before long she came upon a man and woman standing in the Plaza. They were both wearing cloaks, but the male, wore a guild cloak that resembled hers. Clearly he was a Crimson Blade, which meant that this was the place to be. As she approached she raised her hand. "Good Morning. Im here for the quest?" She asked in a friendly tone, still not entirely sure if she was in the right place.

  18. Red frowned as she saw that Takao was nowhere to be seen behind her. It was almost as if he had just disappeared. It was at that moment that she heard his voice call out triumphantly. She spun around again shocked to see him sitting so casually beneath the tree like he had had all the time in the world. He laughed too, causing her to abandon her frown, and laugh along with him. If she had had any doubts as to how fast he really was, those were certainly gone now. "Sprint eh? I don't know if that was allowed." She said as she sat down beside him, sticking out her tongue playfully. Of course his ability was allowed, there was no such thing as cheating here, after all she hadn't exactly given him a fair start to the race either.

It wasn't until he asked what he had won that she suddenly felt flustered. There was no indication of a prize to be given nor was she in a position to award anything to him.  The nature of the joke had been completely lost to her in the moment, and even with his wide grin, she still focused on the seriousness of the question. He had certainly earned a prize, if not for besting her in the race, then for everything he had taught her today. But it came down to her having nothing to offer. After all she already had pledged to pay him back as soon as she could for his help, so what could she do now? Suddenly an idea came to her, ad it immediately caused her to blush and turn her face away from him. It was silly wasn't it? people don't do those kinds of things right? AS she questioned she scooted closer to him, feeling more nervous. And then in flash of speed that may have even rivaled his own, she leaned over and kissed him gently on the cheek. "Thats your prize today." She said with a small giggle while turning even redder.

The three that arrived seemed better coordinated that the previous wasps. Perhaps they were aware of how there brethren had been bested, or maybe they were simply inspired by a programmed rage. Whatever the case may be they zipped and dodged around above Red's head with incredible precision. Every now and then one would swoop at her, no doubt trying to force her to lose her footing, but she would out step the attack and be ready for the next.

The trio seemed to hover for several minutes now, before they finally fell into their traditional attack patterns again. Had she not seen how they moved before she would not have been ready for this. Luckily Red had been waiting for just such an opportunity and responded as she had learned. She moved just as fast as them, anticipating their trajectory and moving out of the way. One by one they pelted the earth in a grand fashion.

Red wasted no time in executing her next attack, calling out it's name as she did. "HAYMAKER" Her voice was loud and steady, and her spear swung out in a wide arc, striking each wasp along its midsection. She had landed this same attack 4 times in a row now, destroying multiple foes with each strike. This was the power of these AOE's. Her ex had mentioned them to be ineffective as they reduced individual damage, but so far she had seen them being incredible to say the least.

The three wasps exploded into the same blue fragments the other seven had. Another notification signaled that she had gained some loot from the fight. She wouldn't have long to celebrate her victory however as another Volley of wasps approached and quickly circled her.

The next pair followed the same plan as the last, buzzing into range before launching an aggressive attack. At this rate it looked as though the wasps had little more than a simple combat pattern to follow. Simply put they arrived and attacked. If allowed to survive they became more difficult, but if beaten fast enough they were easy. She even wondered how many would come before either something changed or they stopped. Would they just keep respawning infinity or eventually cease for a period of time.

The thought was pushed from her mind as she slipped to the side this time, once again allowing for the familiar thud of the mobs bodies hitting the earth. In a flash she spun around again, swinging her spear in another massive Haymaker smashing into the wasps exoskeletons and sending them skidding into the dirt before they exploded into fragments.

She let out a quick cheer that was silenced by the drone of yet more wasps. She let out a frustrated sigh as three more rose up from the same outcrop of trees. "Ok this is getting silly now"

She looked up at the new pair of enemies buzzing towards her. They were coming in pairs now, meaning the threat was growing. They also seemed more agitated than before, suggesting they were aware of the deaths of their comrades. These two appeared in one right after the other in a straight line, and didn't even hesitate before they launched another attack on her. Red had the advantage now, as she had her footing and could clearly see where they were coming from.

The pair of wasps dove from their high vantage point, filling the air with the sound of angry buzzing. She could see how them moving like this would allow them to hit so hard, as they were going with the artificial gravity to gain momentum. Unfortunately now that she had it figured out they didn't stand a chance.

Rather than block the Blow, Red evaded again, slipping backwards at the last second causing them to crash into the earth. This was her moment just like before and she would take advantage of it launching another brutal Haymaker at the wasps. The blondes skill was definitely improving as her attack connected easily with both dealing incredible damage, causing them to explode in a shower of pixels.

Still it would seem the Wasps would not be beaten so easily as another pair rose up from the tree lines ready to fight.

  23. Takao mentioned that he had a shop up on the third floor. It seemed there was a lot to her knight in shining armor than she had thought. Not only was he an everyday hero, but he was also a business man. She giggled a little wondering what kind of whop he had, and picturing him in the various positions associated with the different shop types. The idea of him being a tailor crouched over a sewing machine, or with a needle and thread embroidering someones name on a coat was particularly entertaining to her. She made a note to ask him some more about it later, maybe even to go visit him up there soon, and see what he does. She did want to travel, and what better reason than to say Hi to a friend. OF course that would come later, now they were going over to catch a rest under the shade of a tree.

"I'll race ya." Red smiled and dashed off towards the tree, her blonde hair trailing behind her. She needed to find something to tie it back with. Still that was a minor concern at best in this stage of the game. Right now however she was actually having fun. For the first time since logging in, she was enjoying herself. As she neared the tree she reached out touching it while turning around to see if Takao had fallen behind.
