If were just attacking normally with one hit does that use energy?

However, this is actually super punishing to level 1 players with their virtually empty energy pool. If they miss once at level 1, they are punished for it by not being able to take any action due to going to -1 energy and being forced to wait a turn to do any attacks. and at level one, missing your turn is extremely deadly. While many people level without combat early on, this system is unintentionally harsh to level 1 players that want to fight things.
A hot fix for this would be ruling that you can't go below zero energy, but it's not specified ether way at the moment so using simple math makes it negative energy. Which is a fine system for higher levels, punishing them for attempting big hits and failing with a temporary 'Fatigued' state of being in negative energy, but at level 1 fatigued means death and there is no way to avoid it.

TBH that sounds like a much fairer way to do it, as this system only rewards you with levels per completed threads, where as the only one was more about posts, so finishing a thread 20 posts every time wasn't always the best way to play.
Still only get the Sp after completion naturally, but A bonus SP every 3rd page means you get 1 SP per thread and a SP per 60 posts in a thread.

The magic system in ALO seems a bit undefined, what does it cost to Cast a spell, What Magic Type level do you need to be to cast the different Tiers, Do you level magic the same way as a weapon, Can you only level ether Your Magic Skill or Your Weapon Skill per Thread? These are the big questions X~X

Ah-ha I see, well that's fine, it was more of a passing question for the future, as if it's anything like the other magics you wont even be able to get a pet until 10 int to use Charm. Might not be the case, and seeing as it's basically a thing that all Cait Sith have a pet it would be weird to not be able to get one from level 1, but balance is balance.

Except, at-least in the Beast mastery they're not, as here is Two Spell from beast mastery:
Ferocious Intent- High Tier Party-Buff Beast Taming Skill - Your pet Roars on your command, boosting the entire party's Strength, Agility, and Perception for a single thread. This spell will be supercede by other Party-Buffs, and you cannot be buffed by a Single-Target-Buff Spell. (Party-Buff)
Masters Support - Pet Healing Skill - Heals your pet for X HP sapped from your HP. The higher the power, the more it will take from the user which can be lethal. X*50 Beast Taming. (Healing to Pet)
Didn't change anything to them. The Healing spell has a level but no cost, and the Party buff has no level OR cost. It looks like just an issue on Beast Taming Magic.
