  1. "Eh?" Elyth sure wasn't expecting that as a reply. Was he a psychic? And that outburst was such a change in the atmosphere!

Regardless, she needed to complete that quest. And this guy was level 19.

"Okay, should I ask him or no?" Elyth debated in her mind for a second, before thinking, "Oh well, I'll give it a shot."

"I was going to try to complete the quest «Secret Medicine of The Forest.» Um... If you have the time, could you please assist me?" Elyth blurted out, hoping she wouldn't regret it later. "Uh, I mean, could you please guide me? You're level 19, so..."

Oh dear. This was going to be awkward.

  2. Elyth looked at the young man who she had just bumped into.

Her first thought was, "I have never seen someone wear white, red, and black like this before. Or have I?"

The second was, "Why does he look so uneasy? Did I do something subconsciously that caused this?"

Then she noticed the orange cursor above his head. An orange player? Was he dangerous? And his level, he was at level 19! Elyth shook her head from side to side before remembering to reply.

"Um... Yeah. I hope I'm fine," Elyth stuttered. In her mind, she couldn't help but wonder, "Are you?"

  3. Nice introduction! Nice to meet you by the way! I'm known as Zuzu/Zuzukins. I'm already helping you out on a quest to get you started! I hope your enjoying the site and have a blessed day! ^^

Thanks so much for that! *bows*

Which MMO's have you played before?

I've tried Aion and Lineage, as well as several, much more obscure ones. My favorite so far is Guild Wars 2, but I haven't had much time to dedicate to gaming for some time.

Pretty sure Log Horizon is still airing new episodes weekly.

Ah, it is. I should change that to "watched all of the episodes and read all of the published light novels save one so far."

I'd offer help to rping, but everyone else is always insisting, so no need. Welcome to the site and remember that the best part is making memories in the stories you create. ^^

Yes sir! I shall remember your words! *tears in the sunset*

  4. Elyth stood at the edge of Horunka Village, pacing back and forth in an indecisive manner.

The reason for her pacing was the quest «Secret Medicine of The Forest.» It was a first-floor quest, which meant that Elyth could probably complete it, given her level, and get an «Anneal Blade» as a reward. However, the quest objective was to retrieve a «Little Nepent's Ovule», a medicinal ingredient that was a drop from the rare plant-type mob «Little Nepent.»

Elyth had had a suspicion that something was wrong the moment she had entered the house of the NPC. She had only been offered water, despite there being something in the pot simmering on the stove. Then, she heard the coughing of a child and had offered her help, only to have to remain seated to listen to the NPC's tale of woe.

    And now, this quest.

"You know, if I went with a party..." Elyth muttered quietly. "Then... Maybe I could complete the quest? But it's not like I have much experience fighting right now, and the mob is a rare monster after all..."

  5. Hello! My name is Elyth, and I look forward to playing with you all!

I love MMORPG games, and I've played quite a few before. I've read all the SAO light novels and watched all the anime episodes, and same goes for Log Horizon, so now I'm pretty much obsessed with the idea of VRMMOs. (I'm also keeping up with news on the Oculus Rift, but it's not like I'll be able to get it once it comes out anyways...)

When it comes to text-based roleplaying, I guess I'm still a n00b, so please guide me, everyone!

    » Username: Elyth
» Real name: Elyth Anias / Kazaki Tei
    » Age: 15
    » Gender: Female
    » Height: 5'8"

» About: Elyth is a fairly intelligent person, and tries to be as understanding as she can. She does her best to be polite, but at certain times, she fails miserably. Please don't blame her for this too much. She's probably blaming herself already.

When she was growing up, her parents were not really normal since they were both hardcore gamers. Elyth eventually began to think of her brother, who was really more of a parent than their actual parents, as a guardian, and looked up to him. Elyth gets most of her personality and likes/dislikes from her brother, who was a workaholic and genius programmer. (Elyth has never tried programming though.) Her father was one of those people who lined up to get copies of SAO, and bought three copies. Elyth received a copy, and was sucked into the game, while her parents somehow never got to play.

    » Virtues:
Pragmatic- Elyth prefers being practical and doing things realistically. She often plans out every one of her actions, making sure that they are reasonable and have an 100% chance of success before carrying them out, unless she's in the middle of a fight, where she lets her instinct take over. (This does not include when she gets randomly lost.)

Perseverance- Elyth has a habit of focusing on her goal to the point where she'll only back down if she's sure she'll die. Even then, she'll probably stand up again (and shout, "YODO!").

Versatile- Elyth quickly adapts to new situations. She has never panicked before, and always tries to solve the problem in front of her.

    » Flaws:
    Reference: {C}http://www.darkworldrpg.com/lore/flaws.html{C}
Unpredictable- Elyth is an unpredictable character. She often seems to act on impulse, but unless she's fighting, there's always a reason she does something.

Skeptic- Elyth doesn't believe half the things she hears, but she keeps them in mind anyway, remembering that "in every lie there is a grain of truth."

Audacious- Elyth often blurts out whatever she's thinking. Often, it's impolite. She tries her best not to do so by not speaking when she knows she will say something impolite.
