(Ooc sorry for the long wait rl got me messed up, and lets not do it in this one. Just want to do some stuff before I go orange.)

I smiled through the tears. "Thanks." I said while whiping them from my cheecks. Contemplating my options, I stole a glance outside. It seemed that the storm had stabilized for the moment. It also looked the worst it had since it started. We, in theory, could make it out to find them. But it wouldnt be that comfortable. It would also make us easy targets of an ambush of creatures. My colthes were still damp. I looked my friend over. Awww, how could I ask him to go out into this rain. "Lets wade this out. At least untill visibillity reaches a few feet away!" I let loose a chuckle. I yawned, and thought more about what couldve possibly made Hydra embarrased in his younger years. I grabbed Nix and huddled up with him as I propped my back against the wall, with my head a few inches past the windows edge across from Hydra.

I graciously accepted the bread. While I put the water away, I started to wonder why he wanted to help, other than pking the pkers, he didnt get anything out of it. I looked at him curious of what could possibly look so bad about him as a child. "Oh come on, it can be that bad Peter. If it helps any, you didnt turn out too bad..." I gave him a consoling smirk and ran my fingers through my blonde hair. I smiled as I split the vread with a groggy red panda. When I turned back to my original position, He had returned to the window and aske about what kayla looked like. It ook me a second to recall her. "She is 13. She has purple hair, she is petite, has one blue eye the other green. Theyre on the opposite side as mine are." I gestured to my left green eye and right blue before continuing, "she was wearing purple armor. Her weapon is a one handed straight sword." I started to feel sad mad again. While tearing up I punched the wall. "I miss them. I miss them so much Peter. You dont know how much this means to me. The fact that I just met you like an hour or two ago and your already helping me alot...." I turned towards him with tears in my eyes and closed tge distance between us to hug him. "Thank you so much." I backed up and wipped my face with my sleeve. "Im sorry I am so emotionall. Ive always been umable to keep it caped inside me." As the tears came out I kep wiping them. I looked up at Peter. "Why are ou doing this? Its a big thing to do for a person you barley know." I looked out the rain covered window, trying to make out what I could. The storm was only getting worse. I yawned while sitting down next to Nix, tears still rolling and myself a sniffling mess.

As the anger left me, I started to plan it out. Peter seemed quite intrested in helping me find my sister. "You would get along great with her. Shes taller than me despite being younger." As he went to the window, i looked at my fists. They were white with pressure. "Oh crap." I mumbled under my breath. Nix was dead asleep, and I was getting there. I got out a bottle of water and took slow sips. I got up and offered some to Hydra while getting closer to him at the window. Hearing his 'Errr' when he turned around, I continued to stare into the forest. *Grgggrrggrr* I felt my stomach. Still empty. "Still got that stale bread?"

It took me a second to figure out what he meant. Nix came into where we were at and laid down. He must be tired. I looked at Peter and noticed his spear was drawn. Memories were still flooding back to me. James hollering. Kayla running. For some reason my brain was fixated on this. James hollering. Kayla running. Its like my entire body was screaming at me to punch something. James hollering. KAYLA RUNNING. My fists balled themselves up. JAMES HOLLERING. KAYLA RUNNING. Then it stopped. There was the man who had approached me to kill me. "You dont have to do this for me Peter. I dont want you to die. But if you could help me, Id appreciate it. I want to find my sister. I want to make those pkers pay." With rage in my eyes I looked at Hydra. "Thank you." My blood was boiling and it felt as though I was being pricked by a thousand needles all over.

Nix was getting enveloped with love and seemed to like it. "He is Nix. Im Evac. You can pet him if youd likw to, he doesnt bite." I looked at her. She looked pretty young, no more than 11. I was suddenly overwhelmed with a sense of worry, then it washed away. Nix got out of my lap and walked over to her then sat right in front of her, looking up he sai "Ha-ha-hai". I laughed and thought back to when Manta saw Nix for the first time. She had a similar reaction. "Whats your name?" I asked with a smile trying to cone off as less intrusive as possible.

I smiled at his story's begining but it soon left my face as it took a dark turn. Then he asked about my sister. "Oh Liam, itll be fine! Link start-"  Flash backs of Kaylas face still haunt me. I hugged myself as I thought of the last time I saw her real face. Little did we three know what was coming. James told us about what it would be like, he said "Its all you could want from a game." "My brother... he bought three Nerve gears and three copies of SAO. We joined as a team of sibilings. We were doing pretty good untill that announcement that is ingrained in evrery player head. James was a heavy grinder and got alot of good stuff. Kayla and I just walked around town making friends and crap like that. She liked those kind of things." I was smiling. "This is where it gets a little sour. After we found out that that we could all die James decided we should go to a park. Out of the safe zone. we went into the woods. Out of nowhere a couple players came up to us." I started to break a little bit here, It felt horribly talking about it. But he asked hes about to get the truth. I looked outside, ha. Still pouring down out there. How fitting. "They demanded everything but our basic equipment. I froze, but james. No. James laughed and said 'nope.' They looked at each other and said 'yes, yes you will. Or youll die!' I didnt know what to do so i obeyed them. I equipped my basic stuff then dropped everything else. Kayla started to inch farther and farther away from the group. James unsheathed his sword and struck at them. He missed. They didnt. Kayla she ran. I was there when he shattered.... That horible sound that no one wants to hear. One of them approached me the other two ran after Kayla. I dont know who died when they caught up to her. The guy said 'Thank you for your kind donation.' That snapped me out of it. He pulled his weapon and I ran. I ran so fast my tears were sideways. When I got into the safe zone I turned around and flipped him off. But Kayla was here. I dont know that she is dead." I was looking down, tears running down my face.

As I was walking around, Nix was up to his usuall antics. For a red panda he sure is an odd one. "Hmm. Nix wanna climb?" He looked at me, stopped walking and shot up the nearest building. I followed him but started as a wall run. Free running is easy when you dont have to worry about falling and breaking bones. I grabbed onto the ledge of the and pulled myself up. The generated sun was setting. Nix was sitting down looking at it. "Lets go higher!" I said to him. I looked up and climbed higher. I reached the highest point and looked down assasins creed style. I took a long slow breath. "Lets get it." I said as I fell forward. Tucking into a roll Nix followed me. I brushed my hands and feet against the nearest wall. What I didnt see was the balconey apporaching. My feet slammed down onto the floor. Nix on the other hand crashed into me like a cannon ball. As I lay there groaning I notice that the room the balcony is attatched to is occupied. "Hi there! Im sorry, I uhh, fell." I looked at the girl.

As I entered his shop I noticed that it wasnt what I considered a mess. "Hydra this is nice man! This isnt messy compared to what my room looked like." Nix popped out of my bag and started wandering around the hidden away shop. I ran my fingers through my hair while looking out a window. It was seriously coming down out there. I eyed my brunette friend. "Call me Liam. Thats my real name. My brother, James, got me into video games. He was 23. My little sister loved anything I did so of course we got this death trap together. She was 11. We lived in the state mississippi. Its in the u.s.. My mom liked it when we played games, my dad on the other hand thought that we did out of laziness. But none of that really matters." I bit my lower lip and continued. "Thats how Im here. What about you?

"Ha! Not today, now its floor 2!" I said with a small hit on his arm. Seeing his obvious discomfort I was suddenly appreciative of my basic leather armour which seemed to shed water pretty well. Nix was asleep and I was happy about that too because Hydra now had a 'hat'. "Nice hat ya got there by the way!" I said with laugh. He did have an interesting familliar, thats for sure! "But on a more serious note, Ive never heard of this floor to have this kind of storm. Its as though its an omen. Please tell me you feel the same way...." I nervously glanced at him and his snake. I followed him mindlessly wondering about randomness and if this storm was programed in to strike at a random time or if my gut was right. If my gut was right, then cue Jaws music! I hope im wrong, i thought. My stomach was feeling all wonky. "Bleh." I said as we walked deeper into the woods.

"Thanks!" I liked the idea of going to his shop. When the lightning struck we all were stunned for a moment. The rain. It feels real, looks real and even smells real. Its just so real. I looked up and closed my eyes then took a deep breath. *hhuuuugggghhhh* "we....ake....lter...ere!" I opened my eyes. Hydra was saying something while pointing to the forest. I glanced behind us. Dry grass. Both were just waiting fire storms. "This is getting exciting." I said with a hint of arson dripping from my voice. I started to jog into the forest waving for Him to follow. Nix on the other hand, jumped into my backpack and curled up.

I laughed with him. "Thanks, it took a long time to teach him." Hydra was right though, there did seem to be a storm comimg, I thought as the wind picked up. We were walking alomg with Nix when he just stopped and said "hurrrrghh." while sitting down. Sure enough, right in front of him were a familly of mushrooms. "Huh. Never knew he had it in him." I said with a suprised face. Nix on the other hand was looking up as the dark clouds started to get even darker . A storm was in fact brewing and wheter we liked it or not we were in it now. I was not about to just leave Hydra here and run back to the town, I couldnt do that.  "I dont like the looks of this. What do you think we should do?" I glanced over to Hydra and Twilight, picking Nix up and giving him scratches. 

I laughed at his reaction to me saying Nix can talk. "Yeah, he can say some stuff, but only for treats. Luckily," I materialized a gummi bear pack and shook some into my hand "I have his second favorite food right here. Nix, get down." I pointed down but knowing what i was about to do was already going there. I looked at Hydra-"Check this out! Nix tell Hydra what your favorite food is." He looked at my hand and I flashed the gummi bears at him. He said "Ambooo!!!" I opened my hand and rewarded him with the couple of bears I had. "Good job pal!" I said scratching his ears with my free hand. When he asked if Nix had a good sense of smell I shrugged and replied "I do not know actually. Only one way to find out!" I looked at Nix, who was still chewing on the last of the bears and asked "Buddy, do you think you could go find some mushrooms?" He looked at me with those hyper realistic eyes and cocked his head. As he swallowed the mouthfull he had he looked around and started walking away from us. " Hunh. Apparently he can. But I have never seen him do this before, although it would explain him being able to find players while theyre eating." I shurgged again. "All we can do is hope." I started to follow him.

I smiled when he laughed. I was fascinated by twilights ability to communicate with her owner. "Thats quite amazing Hydra! Nix always just paws for the stuff he wants. Occasianally makes a half hearted attempt to say bamboo, but its hard to understand. He can say hi though..." I thought about what could go with mushrooms. "Ya know bell peppers go good with mushrooms. Ill have to feed Nix some bamboo, but ill pretty much eat anything. Whatever kind of protein hydration pack the hooked us up too irl, it goes down just fine. So im fine with anything really." I rubbed Nix behind the ears. How do we find bell peppers??? Much less bamboo, this is crazy i thought to myself. "Well im ready!"

I thought about what he was saying. He had misunderstood me. "Thats not what i meant. I have the problem of freezing sometimes. Like only if its super important to me or really scary." I frowned and thought back to that horrible day. The day James and Kayla died. I teared up a little then continued "I already have respect for you because you were honest to me about the cursor. You didnt even freeze up when the spiders pounced on you. Had it been me instead of you idve died. And you were nice to my pet so of course I admire you already. If there was more of you in Kabaya Akihibo, Id be able to log out. Those names on the stone wouldnt be there. Hydra I havent know you but for a short period, and already i see much good in you." I wipped my face. Nix put his paw on my cheeck and said "ammroooo! Amroooooo!!!!!" "Seems like twilights not the only one, Ill tag along!" I finished while ruffling my hair back to how I like it and stood up. Nix gave a hmph of approval and climbed to my shoulder.

As he charged the skill up again, I watched him spin, his spear slicing the remaining spiders into a billion tiny shards of animated glass. Still layimg upside down i again gaped at him. "Your good." I rolled over and righted myself. Then promptly threw a rock at Nix. "Come here ya punk!" I said jokingly. He dodged the rock like it was nothing then bounded down to me. I still sat and looked at the warrior before me. "Hydra, right now ima noob. Just a plain ol noob. One day, ill be lucky if Im half as good as you fam." I laughed at myself,I stood up and walked to him and offered my hand to help him up. I thought back to that day when Violet was getting her familliar and I jumped off the roof just to fall on my face. Then got helped up by a random player. I felt like he did n that situation.

dingding Nix pounced on my belly to wake me up. "Uuugggghhhhjj. What is it buddy?.." "hurrgggh!!" I looked up. Hm, it was a message from Violet! I perked up instantly, I shot up and looked around. Thankfully I was already on floor four so when i read the entire message i was already equipping my leather armour. Who were these other guys she mentioned? "Well my red panda bro, lets go see our favorite peeps!" He looked at me and jumped into my backpack. Poking his head out he could see behind me as I walked from roof to roof looking for her and "the guys". "Theyre easy to find Nix, they are the prettiest things in the game. Its not hard to find prettiness." I said to him with a wink. I spotted them a block away and jumped off the roof to the ground. I had plent of time to perfect my in game parkour to match the skill which I have IRL. I landed perfectly, but couldnt help to remember my faceplant the last adventure i had with her. I rubbed my nose, still doesnt feel right i said to myself. Nix climbed to my shoulder and jumped off and bolted through the crrowd infront of us. I followed of course, and when I got to the other side I saw her. "Your quite the sight for sore eyes!!" I said as I hugged her. "I missed you Violet." I backed up and looked around then focused on the 'guys' "Hi there! Im Evac, this is Nix," Nix gave them a hello before going back to his search for Akame, "and who might you two be?" I asked with a quizzical glance.

I was taken off of my adrenalne high when he started his sentence, but I couldnt help but holler a little when the spiders pounced on him. I was then thrown back up to my hightened state when they got on top of him. I was semi afraid still. I mustve looked quite stupid because Nix, looked at me and cocked his head with a lmao kind of look. "Yeah laugh it up furball." I said rolling my eyes at him. Then the white light shone out from underneath the spiders. At first i thought he died but then i realised it was a sword art. "You go Hydra!" I stood there amazed at his ability. I looked at one of the spiders and ran at it. I drew in my sword and readied to slice it but before i got there, I tripped over a random root of a tree and proceded to tumble into the trunk of another."Hrgghhhh!" I growled at the spider as though it did anything. It didnt.

I equiped my basic sword,"Im pretty okay. Ill have a katana soon." I stood up and faced the opposite direction as he did. Nix went up a tree and ran a perimeter as I had taught him to, atta boy i thought. I looked all around but nothing stood out to me. "Hmmmm. Somethings not right." I thought of Violet and when she almost died. It sent shivers down my spine. Whatever was coming was about to get one hell of a welcome. I felt the adrenaline rush and my senses sharpen my nerves went away and instinct took over. I gripped my curved sword tighter. "Ive been needing some stress releif. What about you?" I said devlishly

Thats impossible. Theres no way this guy could-as I looked up sure enough, bing an orange cursor. I looked down at him. All through him talking, Nix had been inching up closer and closer to him, untill finally Nix was almost in his lap. He gave Hydra a headbutt on his knee then said "hurr!" With a happy panda face. "Frankly, i couldnt care less. Nix here is a pretty good judge of character and well he likes you. I dont see how someone that would care enough about a dragon-snake thing who was injured in the forest and nurse it back to health could be a bad person. Hydra, whoever died, im sure they had it coming. Also im a big beleiver that people can change. My older brother told me when we started this game not to judge a player by their cursor." I stuck my hand out to him "Id like to be your friend." I sent an invitation to him as I gave him a warm smile.

I laughed. "No, im not lost. Just wandering. Nix here is a little adventurous at tiimes. Nice familliar ya got there! She sure is pretty, looks fiesty too." I sat down across from him and looked up. "The clouds look so real. Everything is just so vivid...." I looked back down at Nix who seemed to be sizing my new friend up. "Huuuuurrrrrr" I gave a two finger poke in his ribs and said "Oh you hush." I shifted my glance back to the player before me. "I just dont know what to do here. I keep doing the same old thing and i always end up mad at myself. I come out here to just relax. Its funny how one gets this game to escape yet whe one is in the game they must escape from it to keep from going insane." 

As i walked outside of the safe zone i realised that i havent met a pker yet. Not that its a good thing, but it isnt a bad thing either. I mean some stories players pass on tell of the player killers like savage beasts. I choose not to beleive those types of stories. Nix was on the ground sniffing and looking at flowers as we exited the last bit of garden there was. "Cmom pal," I said while offering my arm to him. He accepted and gave a little huff of happiness. "Weve got to go explore!" "Yuurhhhh!!" I looked to the left and right before continuing forwards in the plain. He jumped down and darted left into some tall grass. "What was that about Nix?" I said standing still waiting for him to come back. "Nix?" "Hur." I took a couple steps into the grass and soon found him staring at a player who was sitting with his back to a tree. I looked at the guy. "Sorry about him, hes got bad manners. Im Evac, whats your name?" I asked with a smirk crossing my face.

Walking through the forest during the day wasnt so bad. For the past few months all ive done was learn about myself. Here recently ive been quite bored, all i really do is reminisce about Violet. Nix has stayed busy though chasing things and whatnot. But today i started looking for something new to do. Climbing trees gets boring after a couple weeks. Hunting is fun, but its not the same without a certain dragon and her owner. "Hurrgh.." Nix sighed. "I know buddy. How about we go to the town and look for like, a job or something?" He perked up when i said that. He cocked his head at me and took off towards the town. Heh, somethings never change. I activated sprint and caught up to him. He jumped onto my shoulder and headbutted me. "Nixxxxxx." I slowed down and rubbed his head with my left hand. "Maybe well run into someone we know!"
