  1. Staring at the party request a sudden wave of unsureness swept over Spehira. Something was telling her this was a bad idea. Taking a breath the female sighed and denied the party request, as well as the item. "I'm sorry Zandra," Sephira whispered, head lowering, "I'm suddenly not feeling up to this. Something doesn't feel right. I apprecate the offer, but I'm going to going to go now." Without another word the blonde turned and walked away.

  2. The boar charged, as did Sephira. There was a moment in time when the two crossed paths. Then time froze. Sephira watched as her HP bar continued to go down. Pretty soon green turned into red and then the color disappeared altogether. There was no feeling. Suddenly, Sephira's body burst into pixel and disappeared. The boar, who lost one HP, continued on with living as it's opponent disappeared.

  3. Upon hearing the news, there was no helping the grin that decorated Sephira's features. A partner had been found. Just in time too. "I've picked up the Secret Medicine in the Forest quest," Sephira smiled sheepishly while turning the parchment around so the other female could see it, "I know my level is low, but with some company, it might just be possible for someone like me." With that said a glint of determination could be seen flaring within amber orbs. On some level, Sephira hoped that Zandra didn't think she was crazy for trying to take this on while she was so under leveled, but if she did, well, the blonde couldn't blame her. She knew the risk and was willing to take it in order to improve her skills. Although, it would be much easier with someone to watch her back.

  4. Exhaling under her breath amber orbs once more glanced down at the quest parchment once more. If no partner could be found the only option would be to solo it. Right as that thought passed through her mind the shadow of another player engulfed her being. Quickly turning to face the person who had approached Sephira was surprised to find a smiling brunette female. Without any time to really process where the female could have possibly come from an introduction, question and handshake were thrown into the mix. As it turns out the females name was Zandra, and from the looks of her armor, she was a higher level and overall definitely a more experienced player. "Sephira, nice to meet cha," The small blonde greeted back while taking the extended hand, "And actually I would be. You see, I would like to take this quest on, but my level way too low. Any chance you know where I could find a partner?" At that she bashfully scratched the back of her head, offering a sheepish grin. It may be strange for someone as low as her to be want to go on a quest, but the name of the game in SAO is strength and this was the only way to do. Risk your life or die trying they say.

  5. It was just another normal day in Beginner City. Players of all kinds nonchalantly wandered the dirt roads that wove intricately throughout the entirety of the town. A couple of those wanderers had paused by the quest board to glance over the options. One wanderer, in particular, was very interested in doing a quest. There was only a  slight problem...that wanderer was a level one.  Most of the quests that decorated the board were for those level 5 or higher. Not that Sephira cared all that much. Fighting boar could only entertain someone for so long. Taking on a quest that was meant for those of a higher rank was a step the young girl was willing to take in order to become stronger. Suddenly, a flyer down in the bottom corner caught her attention.

    Attention!

Small Village is in need of  <Little Nepent's Ovule>,

a medicine that is dropped by a variant of Nepent. Please assist

this Villiage. It is in dire need!

Tearing off the worn sheet, Sephira read over the material once more. This was exactly was she was searching for. There was an actual moment where she considered just accepting it and trying to solo it, but the image of her form bursting into pixelated bits ran through her minds eyes. This time, assistance would be required. Mentally sighing at the thought, she let her arm fall the side as a quick glance was taken around. Now to find a teammate.

  6. Better late than never doing one of these, right? Anyways, as you can probably read, I'm Sephira--sometime Seph for short--and am still relatively new to this site. Outside of this, I work for a doggie day care in their playrooms. Basically meaning I babysit dogs part-time. The other part of the time I'm a full-time student who is graduating in one semester with a degree in social work. Que the stress of finding a job with my major and let's no forget the lack of experience.

Role-play wise I've never done an RP like this before and am excited to learn. Plus, meeting new people is always exciting! Can't wait go adventure with everyone!

  7. The unexpectedness of the attack caught the grazing beast off guard. As easy as slicing butter Sephira's sword cut through the pixeled animal. Coincidentally with the attack, a painfully loud squeal shattered the peaceful silence in the fields. Beady black eyes suddenly turned a glowing red. Sephira, knowing better than to keep her back to the enemy, used the force that had been rushed with to pivot and turn back around. The beast was now fully honed in her being. The HP bar above the beast showed that the attack had taken off one hit points. Grinning slightly at the success the blonde prepared for the beast to strike back.

The boar's front hoof suddenly started pawing at the rooted ground. It's head sunk forward as it prepared to engage the player. Without so much as another warning, it charged forward. It took a lot, but Sephira waited for the opportune time before diving off the side and rolled. She came to a pause with a knee on the ground and the other leg extended out. The full force glare was directed at the beady-eyed boar.

  8. Stepping past the safe zone, a large breath was drawn inward before being released back into the world. "Okay, let's get this party started," Sephira murmured to the wind as she started down the dirt path. A couple minutes had turned into thirty and before she knew it an hour had passed. By now the amount of players that surrounded the area were  dwindling, which was the whole point of coming out so far. There was a risk in doing this though and Sephira understood that. If something were to happen it would mean the likelihood of someone coming to assist would be close to nothing. It was a risk she was willing to take.

Stopping and glancing around, amber eyes landed on the perfect target. It was boar that was off by itself eating rich grass from the field. Sliding the sword out of the sheath Sephira held it with her left hand. Without another thought, she rushed in to start the fight.

  9. The way he released her from the hug to him leaving all seemed to happen in slow motion. A small wave managed to be sent in his direction before he completely disappeared from the bar. "I make no promises about not dying," Sephira mumbled half-hearted looking at the door, "But I'll do my best to be here." With that stated the girl slide her way back into the booth and took another sip from the water. In all honesty, she wished that they had gotten to talk more about what had happened the last couple months, but that would probably never happen. At least not for a while. "Bartender, can I have something else to drink..."

  10.

Despite the denial, Sephira knew that Max was thinking about something he didn't want her to know about. Making the glass still and exhaling the girl slowly slid out of the seat so that she was standing in front of her friend. The question passed through her mind's eye once more. "...you need anythin' before I leave..." Sephira placed a hand on the table and leaned on it while the other hand pulled up the menu with practiced ease. "Actually, I do need something before you go," Sephira commented nonchalantly. Scrolling through the menu amber eyes quickly scanned through the options. Seconds later it was found. "Accept this friend request and promise me that you'll message me...for anything, okay? Promise me that at least." The concern that she was now feeling weaved throughout her voice and reflected within the amber orbs.

  11. Bringing the glass of water to meet her lips Sephira listened as Max went on to explain what he had been doing for the past several months. It was a wonder they had not run into each other sooner. Then again, how were they suppose to know one another was in the game? Setting the glass back down and leaning forward the blonde found herself nodding. "Honestly, it's been pretty much the same on my end," Sephira grinned sheepishly, "Although, it's more like I want to do something, but have no idea where to start. Thanks to that I've just been watching and absorbing whatever I can." Glancing down amber orbs eyeballed the ice in the glass as it swirled to the rhythm of her movement. All this energy needed to be used for something besides just lounging around and waiting for who knew what. This may have been what Sephira needed in order to finally figure out where to go from here.

  12. Enough time had been spent within the walls of Beginner City. Standing at the archway that lead out into the field's Sephira equipped the one-handed sword that had been sitting in the inventory and ventured out of the safe area. For a couple minutes, she just let her feet lead the way across the grassy fields as everything was taken in. Even if this was a death game, it was still absolutely gorgeous with its vivid and lush scenery. Wild Boar dotted the fields, as did other random players. Some stuck in groups while others soloed it, much like she was doing at that very moment. Finding an accurate target, Sephira drew the sword from her hip of the first time--and definitely not the last.  Slashing it downward in an arch she felt the wind from the movement brush some of the locks away from her face, only for them to settle moments later.

As the sword was brought down in a rest position she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. There was another player, one that appeared a higher level, wearily watching some feet away. Huffing, Sephira sheathed the weapon and  pivoted on her heel to turn in the direction of the player. Then started walking. "Why are you staring?" Sephira questioned head tilted to the side, stopping a couple feet away from the other female.

  13. Sliding into the table where Max had taken residence before her arrival she ordered a glass of water as well. As the waitress left Sephira's gaze once more focused on the person across the table. His concern for their friends was understandable, for it was present within her as well, but there was only so much that could be done without all the facts. Mentally shaking off the feeling that was starting to make itself known the girl leaned an elbow on the table and propped her chin on her hand. "It's pure luck that I ran into you," She grinned while nodding, "I was just getting hungry when I happened passed this place. So tell me, what've you been up to?"

  14. There was no doubt now. Letting Max mess with her loose locks and then pulled her into another hug Sephira found herself relaxing. It was undeniably refreshing to see a familiar face among a sea of strangers. "I couldn't, or at least, didn't think I could. My mom somehow managed. " Sephira explained to Max, returning the hug warmly before pulling away to inspect him. His facial expression foretold the thoughts bouncing around within his head. Gently, her hand patted his cheek in an attempt to bring him back to the present. "We don't know. They could be dead, they could be alive. The possibles are endless." Sephira commented truthfully, "Come on, we should sit down and talk. Maybe catch up a little. What do ya say?"

  15. Wondering mindless around the town Sephira's amber orbs flitted from player to player. It was another normal day in SAO. People had adjusted and life was moving on. Suddenly a light growl resounded from her stomach. "I'm hungry?" Sephira inquired softly, glancing around to find a place to get food. A small tavern on the side of the way was spotted. Approaching it and coming to the entrance one of Sephira's shoes caught and sent her forward...right into someone's arms. Blinking confusedly the girl used her perpetual vision to spot a head of hair. It looked familiar...and then realization dawned. "Max?" Sephira whispered questioningly, "Is that you?"

    Username: Sephira
    Real name: Charlie Mutton
    Age: Fifteen
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5'3

    About: History/personality

History Overview: Life for Charlie would have been defined as normal. Well, as normal as it could get with a living with a single mother who worked as a nurse at the local hospital. Despite the odd and long hours of working Lyra--Charlie's mother--made an effort to spend time with her daughter whenever she could. It was thanks to that effort that the bond between the two was undeniably tight. They were each other's support and shoulders to lean on. Charlie's father, on the other hand, was never in the picture. Lyra tells Charlie that within the first couple months of pregnancy that he walked out, not able to take the pressure of one day being a father and raising a child.

School wise Charlie was an average student with average grades. The teachers always stated that if she really applied herself she could have been brilliant, but the effort was never really put in due to one little distraction. Gaming. Charlie's closest group of friends at school were also her online buddies. They would go on epic, mind-blowing adventures in virtual worlds like no other. What really drew Charlie to gaming was the imaginative aspect of it. The out-of-life and fantasy experiences she could have with the people she felt closest to.

Personality Overview: Charlie has a strong will and does not mind breaking the rules. She is not a leader, nor a follower, but instead makes her own decisions based on the facts given. Has a tendency to think before acting. Although there have been times when impulsive decisions have been made in order to protect and defend those closest to her.  Has a natural serious nature that Lyra swears up and down comes from her father.

    Virtues:

Clever: Much like a fox, Charlie's nature is quick-witted with the ability to think on her toes. Her thoughts are able to stay within the box, but also venture outside the lines when the usual solutions don't work.

Adaptable: While this mainly pertains to situations, like getting stuck in a death game, it can also pertain to people as well. Change is not something she is resistant to. Instead, she takes that change one step at a time and does what she can to survive.

Loyal: Charlie is loyal to a default. Once her trust has been gained, which can sometimes be hard to do, there is nothing that she wouldn't do for that person. She'll take on the necessary roles in that person's life as well, such as; the supporter, the defender or the influencer.

    Flaws:

Prideful: It is not uncommon for Charlie to shirk assistance from others, no matter how much it may be necessary. Those who know her don't even ask anymore they just help. Her prideful nature comes across in both her actions and words.

Clumsy: Unfortunately, in reality, Charlie often has moments when the force of gravity likes to mess with her. This little habit has also transferred in the world of Sword Art Online. It's somewhat embarrassing for her whenever it tends to happen.

Blunt: Charlie is very frank when it comes to letting people know exactly what is going on in her head. There is no beating around the bush or evasiveness with any topic. Even if it could potentially hurt someone's feelings she so going to say it.
