  1. Nikki nodded to Zel as she turned to face the giant doors. Looking up at them was enough to fill someone with a sense of dread as you wondered what might be hidden behind them. Everyone here knew that something terrible sat waiting for them on the other side, something new and terrifying. That up until now no creature had been fought that could rival the power of whatever waited just behind these door. Nikki had an idea, having survived floor 8. The creature was no doubt big, larger than life, with an attitude to boot. She looked over her shoulder again wondering how many of these people had actually crossed a boss before. She let out a quiet sigh as she unequipped her cloak and pressed her hand on the door. It was solid and looked as though it would be heavy, but as she pressed against it, it swung open surprisingly easily.

She gave one more look over her shoulder to the people waiting behind her. They had all grouped up and were waiting for her to kick things off. "Time to get this started." She walked slowly into the room, her heels clicking loudly breaking the still silence of the room. It was dimly lit, with a few odd torches casting eerie shadows, and stained glass ceiling where most of the light seemed to come from. The air smiled of incense, nothing that she had ever smelt before. It was uneasy to say the least. She also noticed several confession booths, all with dark crimson curtains. To make it worse they all seemed to pull open as she entered into the room revealing a single shadowy figure in each one.

Edited by Tristan, it was posted that the enemy would make the first move, which is exclusively controlled by the enemy.

  2. Nikki nodded her head to Mack's question. "Yes, I will use Red as a medium at times if I need to. She enjoys the responsibility." Nikki said happily as she readjusted her cloak. "I also understand your in the boss fight with me. Let's make sure we come back with lots of stories." She said while offering her right hand for him to shake. She hoped everyone would survive the fight, but secretly held special priority on those who would be more important as the years went on. Nikki would make a note to keep an eye on the Burly man while the fight raged on. Without another word she slipped out of the shop so as to avoid any other people who may or may not arrive for items of their own.

  3. Nikki looked up at him a moment or two before looking back out at all the other players that had now gathered. The group was large, almost as big as the one from floor 8. They were all much more powerful now too, able to handout much more damage. The boss really didnt stand a chance in this case. However she still had her own reasons to be afraid. Not for herself though. She had spent hours determining the best build she could muster. Every skill point had been meticulously placed to allow for maximum protection. Her gear had been hunted down and sought after to compliment her mitigation. She had begun to fashion herself into a more efficient tank. Miaki had practiced his skills, often staying up late to become better, but when he slept that's when she went to work. She would slip out late at night and fight with as many creatures as she could, allowing them to attack her over and over. This helped her retain the proper tank mindset, as well as helped her refine her new style of blocking.

"I'm fine" She said with a smile to answer his question. She wasn't afraid now in fact she was more than ready. She had really just wanted to avoid the crowd for a moment. Nikki knew she was going into the room first. Her job today was simple, go in and lure anything that wasn't the boss, to the far side of the room. She would keep their focus, and dance with them while her team tore them apart. It was really very simple. But she did have to remain focused, her new tanking style required it. She couldn't afford to get pulled into conversations with other players until after.

She stood in silence for a moment before she unequipped her cloak sending it back to her inventory. As it pixelled away it revealed her form fully. She looked almost the same as she had from the floor 8 boss, though now she didn't carry a weapon. "So I'm going to open the door and lure all the small mobs to me. That will free up the boss for the clearing party." Her smile broadened a bit as she spoke. "Im not using a weapon because I know you and Zel will destroy everything for me." She knew also that Miaki and Zel would be safe as they would have no Hatred. Nothing would be interested in them until later. In truth this would be a very unstressful boss fight.

"Just remember what your in their for." She raised a hand placing it on his cheek for a moment as she spoke. "I know how protective you are. Just remember, I'm going to get hit, a lot. It's my job. Keep focused and everything will be fine." She leaned in and gave him a quick kiss before pulling away. He really was a sweet man, and his heart was bigger than anyone else she had ever met. This meant that she knew he would worry about her, and fight to not break rank when she started to get attacked. But she also knew he was a good soldier capable of following orders to the letter. "There is more waiting for you after we are done." She said licking her lips as she pulled further away.

Her smile had become Devious as she turned away from Miaki and trailed off through the crowd. Her long shield making it more difficult as she slipped past players making her towards Zelrius. "Hello Sir, Could I get some additional Mit?" She asked with a gentle head nod. Zelrius handed her a Crystal, and Nikki quickly used it and checked her stats. Her armor had raised by 9 points, bringing her total up to 63. She was that much closer to being untouchable. "Thank you for that."[/color she said with a smile before walking off to stand by the door.

  4. Nikki arrived on the scene a little earlier than many of the party that was going to be signed up for the boss room. it was strange to think that they all just wouldn't arrive together, and yet that is exactly what was happening. Each member would arrive on their own or with a single other and then they would group up and make short work of this enemy. That's how things had been, and odds are how they would continue to go from this point on. Nikki was of course no except to the rule. Though in this case she arrived with a single other person, Miaki. As was there fashion they arrived side by side.

Nikki wore her traditional attire, the blue dress with the armor plating over top of it. On top of that though she had something different. A single new gauntlet worn on her left hand. It was blue and black, and seemed to have an inner malice of its own. This of course was the Sanguine Gauntlet, crafted by Jevi the Smith. She had earlier attained the second gauntlet giving her two items of the same set. Rather than a spear Nikki carried with her a new shield attached to her wrist. This one was much like her blade shield. It did however boast a longer length, as well as an upgraded state system allowing her to punish others much better. It was the Razors Edge.

She had not shown these items to her husband yet, as she had spent a small fortune securing them, for just this occasion. She wondered though if he would be mad that she hadn't brought a Weapon? She hadnt explained the change in her build to him, instead leaving it as a surprise. He had asked her about it once or twice in the last week and she had always said to wait and see. Now her build allowed her to survive better, while punishing enemies much harder.

As the pair neared the door Nikki pulled Miaki off to the side so that they could try to stay out of sight for the time being.

  5. Soon the boss raid would begin, and luckily Nikki had received a message from Red indicating that her items had been crafted. All that was left now was for her to go and pick them up. She had heard of the wanders forge, and in fact had seen its owner Mack once or twice. It had been a while since the tank known as the River had ordered anything custom from a smith. In truth before the update she had reached a point of all but indestructible. Since however she had been in need of a few changes to guarantee her survival in this death game. She had downsized her skills focusing on a few points rather than spreading out her skill set, giving her a greater tank focus. In this she needed new gear to supplement her.

She entered the forge with her cloak drawn tight around her. She approached the counter slowly, almost cautiously. As she neared she caught sight of Mack, the Giant of a man who ran the shop and the guild known as the Crimson Blades. "I'm Here to pick up an order... For Nikki Styx." She said drawing in a quick breath after. The items in particular were a new shield and a new gauntlet. The Shield was similar to hers now, if not a little longer, and hopefully a little sharper than her old Blade shield. The Gauntlet, was supposed to guarantee long life, or a tleast increased survivability. Interestingly enough given the unique nature of the gauntlet, it would eventually, when combined with the rest of its like items, create a set of armor that was supposed to mirror a boss from floors above.

After a casual exchange of greetings Nikki was eventually presented with her items. The shield was equipped almost instantly, as it materialized onto her wrist right there. It was 4 and a half feet long easily, and only a few inches wide. It had a bowed out shape, and one might have mistaken it for a bow if they had no idea what it actually was. it was not such a crude shield that people would hide behind. Instead it was used to actively block, striking at an opponents attacks, meeting them blow for blow. Its properties would either hurt opponents or paralyze them. In its own respects it could be thought of as a weapon.

The gauntlet she took and tucked away into her storage, making sure to do so quickly as if to hide it from prying eyes. "I trust that some agreement can be made to keep you from forging any more of the Sanguine Armor. Unless Ive requested it?" She asked As she flashed her left gauntlet revealing it to be a Sanguine gauntlet as well.

  6. A smile dared itself on Nikki's lips as Miaki spoke into her ear. She had thought herself to be sneaky, to have escaped from the house unnoticed. She had even assumed that it would have been hours before he had noticed her missing. And yet her he was dressed fine, and at her side. This proved that only had he figured her out, but he had done so earlier, and left shortly there after she had. Still though, she had made no mention of a party, so perhaps his intuition had guided him here then. Did he know she couldn't leave Zel without a proper birthday greeting? Or had he simply assumed her desire to be social. It had been a while, and she had become rather... Caged. So being here was the right option in her own mind.

"Remind me to stop under estimating you good sir hunter." She whispered back teasingly. As such was their playful banter. it seemed though that there may have been some apprehension on his part to return as well, given how quickly he rose to the occasion not only to find her, but to be seen at the party. It was bad enough for her to wander around, but as a pair to be seen was something to inspire the masses, or so she had come to think. "Needless to say I am feeling quite fine my love." Her voice trailed off sweetly, before Miaki went to address Zelrius himself. Strangely though she noticed a change in mood from the boy. He seemed to have a weight on his heart now..

"Come with me, We will have a drink and give the birthday boy some time. After all it is a big day." Her voice remained sweet as she hooked her arm in Miaki's and pulled him away. The disturbance that had been going on also seemed to have subsided, luckily for all parties. This meant that things could carry on as normal. As she pulled him along she pointed out a few people here and there explaining their identities to him. Things had changed a bit since their last appearance, and it was time to catch up.

  7. Nikki smiled politely as Tristan addressed her. He was Aincrads New top tank, at least for now, she thought with a gentle smile. Since her time on the front lines tank builds had popped up in many corners of Aincrad, while most lacked discipline, some had started making a name for themselves. Tristan was one of those tanks. When she left a power vacuum had been created, the front lines needed someone who could be punished, someone who would put their own life on the line to keep another from falling. Her smile widened and she bowed politely. "You are correct Tristan. While Not being around I remain in touch with the front lines through information brokers. I have heard of you and your exploits." She wondered for a moment how he as a tank would stack up against her. Was he just a wall of meat and steel, or was he dedicated to the art of being punished. She sighed gently as she looked out over the crowd of party goers, keeping a hand on Zels shoulder. It was her own point of comfort now, having been away so long she feared as though she might be whisked away should she let go.

"Well, we have something in common." She said still smiling. "Ive only finished one floor boss as well. Floor 8. She was, magical." Nikki stopped for a moment allowing her thoughts to drift back to the Guardian of the Forest and to the moment when she Nikki Styx became the only indestructible player in Aincrad. She was for a brief period untouchable by any player or creature, a living immortal object in her own regards.. "That was also the time Zel and I became good friends." She laughed while giving his shoulder a gentle squeeze. In fact to anyone who had been there, those events couldn't have seemed further from friendship. Still Things had changed since then, that was a long time ago after all.

A moment Later and Tristan had stated that it was good to see players like her. She wasn't entirely sure on the meaning, but assumed it meant returning players. "Thank you Tristan you are too kind."

  8. Nikki walked slowly up to the stand. She had heard that there was a woman here giving a 100% discount to any and all participants in the boss fight. "Hello..." She said quietly as she approached the counter. "I was hoping to place an order for the Boss fight." SHe pulled her own blue cloak tighter over her face, hopefully hiding her from view.

She stood by the counter filling out a form, with her request, and then folded it carefully so that none would see her name scrawled on it. "I would appreciate your discretion in this matter" She said gently, opening up her menu, and transferring 1000 col into Zandra's account.

  9. It was a party. A birthday Party. Not just for anyone, No. It was a birthday party for a man with a sense of flair, and charisma. A man who was eccentric and extravagant. A man who had done incredible things, and in his own way become a symbol of Aincrad. This was was none other than Zelrius.

Nikki crept lightly through the field being careful to avoid prying eyes. She hadn't wanted to be spotted approaching the party. She had been on another Hiatus to deal with some of her own problems, and while she may not have sorted all of them out, she had no intention of missing out on such a grand event. By the time she arrived it looked as though things were in full swing. People were dancing and having fun, couples were swooning and Zelrius was, as always, the focal point of the affair. "You and that damn tuxedo." She whispered to herself as she continued to get closer. It seemed as though most of the party goes had already made their well wishes, and had moved on to enjoy the festivities, leaving her the perfect chance to get closer.

She had dressed up for the occasion, with her simple blue dress, and pulling her hair back into a neat blue bun. It was a look she was known for, being blue that is. In fact since her own start, it had been her staple color. Everything was blue for her, her armor, her shield, even the spear that she had loaned out to another tank was Blue. But now it had been so long, that maybe no one would know who she was, no one that is except for Zel.

With a smile she crept up behind him as he rocked in his chair, and without a hint of hesitation she placed a hand gently on his shoulder. "Well it looks like you've done well for yourself." She said with a smile. "It's been a while, Zelrius."

  10. Nikki knew that people dieing was going to happen. She knew that she couldn't protect them all, and she knew that it was dangerous for her just as much as it was for everyone else. The truth is she had evolved so much in her time here, that it was impossible for her not to help. In the begging she was self centered, focused on her own survival, over everyone else's. She became a tank to guarantee that she could not die. But she learned the value of life, and put her skills to use. Standing between others and certain death made her feel good, like all of her years of playing games could be put to something useful. She had the knowledge of game systems to protect these people of Aincrad. She let out a Sigh, Michael had some solid points, but she was not prepared to back down. Not when these people needed her. Perhaps this could be viewed as her first challenge for them.

She gave his hand a squeeze. "You know Id have agreed with you before." She said with a small smile. She knew she would have, as much as she didn't want to admit it. "It's dangerous, and every boss fought has the potential to kill us all. It is easier to wait, to sit it out, I won't deny that. But I, we, are not used to taking it easy." Her smile grew now as she spoke. She knew her true conviction, and fighting for what she believed in made her feel good. She knew that he would eventually see reason in her words. He was after all the Silver Swordsman.

"I wouldn't feel right having this game cleared around us, knowing we didn't help when they needed us the most."

  11. Nikki gave a weak smile to the girls explanation and spin. She certainly was confident, and it was safe to say that she was the only on in all of Aincrad who had that kind of strategy. "We always need more Alchemists, especially on the front lines." Was all Nikki could muster for a response. She gave another quick smile and shook her head in disbelief before a party request window appeared. She clicked accept and watched as her new companions info popped up right under her own. Again she was caught in a moment of disbelief as she noticed the girls level. It was terrible, She was so small compared to everyone else, no wonder she needed help. Still though her gear was incredible for her level. The steel plated boots, and cloves that seemed to be more like living metal, than actual plates. It was another one of those cases in which a player's gear was incredibly higher than there level, deceptively high in fact.

She shook her head again, still smiling. "Of course I will help you Anima, I'm sorry I made assumptions about you." She quickly sprinted over to the quest board and accepted the quest for herself as well. She surprisingly hadn't actually accomplished it in all of her time here. She made a note to check the board again in the futre to see what else might have been added for quests. With the quest now active on her map she returned to Anima and smiled again. "If yer ready we can head out now. I know where we need to go from here."

  12. Nikki stopped dead in her tracks when the other girl called her by name. It wasn't a common thing to be known anymore so she had been caught completely off guard by the event. The other girl then proceeded bow and introduce herself, extending a hand. She noticed right away that it was shaking pretty badly. Could she had been nervous, or just excited? Either way Nikki smiled politely and took the woman's hand in her own. "It's nice to meet you Anima, and you are right, I am Nikki Styx." She said with a small laugh. She released the girls hand now and looked around. many of the players the girl had been asking before seemed to have walked off. It wasn't so unheard of to see people ignore smaller players, as they just didn't want to back grind quests for limited experience.

She returned her gaze to the girl and gave her a quick look over. Two toned hair, was not so abnormal considering that her own hair was blue. The eyebrows were a bit much but it showed she was dedicated. The white coat was nice, and lined with fur that would have made it warm on floor 4. She had a decent chest plate. But on closer inspection she noticed that Anima was in fact not wearing pants. What the hell was wrong with this girl? Furthermore what the hell was wrong with these guys who walked away from a bottomless woman? "Umm... I think you forgot some gear..." Nikki said pointing at her lower region while blushing a little.

  13. It had been a quiet day for Aincrads star tank. There had been no calls for help, no quests to run, and generally nothing special to do. Before she was married everyone needed her, for something or other, tank a field boss, protect a player, save a family, there had just always been things to do, and now nothing. She let out a sigh as she slumped down sitting on the edge of a fountain in the plaza for the floor 2 starter town. From here she could see the quest board, and see who was all doing what. Her goal was to look for weaker looking players and help push them along. She did this by spotting beginner level gear, which no one seemed to have anymore. What was this game coming too when there were no lower levels anymore. It was while she was doing this that she caught sight of a player, a girl going around asking other players for help. Nikki scoffed for a moment as her gear appeared to be exquisite, no doubt all high level drops or crafts.

Still despite this the girl continued to ask around, stopping strangers here and there asking for help with a quest. Nikki sighed as she stood up. Perhaps she could help her, after all it was better to help a powerful player do something, than wait for nothing here. She stretched out casually arching her back, before walking over to the girl. "Scuse me, I couldn't help but hear that you are looking for help?" She started flashing a smile at the girl. "I'll help you, though I can't imagine what you'd need help with."

  14. Nikki sighed as she put down her cooking tools. She had been waiting for this moment, her chance to talk about the other day. It had been rough, the pair had squared off for the first time ever, and it had been stressful. Luckily they both were quick to settle and life had continued as normal. Unfortunately for her this meant that there was a cloud hanging now, and she would need to plead her case again. She knew Miaki had not wanted to return to the front lines, that in recent months he had grown happy with the simple life. In truth she had too, she didn't want this to end, she loved what they had. But people were dieing. People needed them. She was a member of the Vanguard, or rather had been, it was not in her to just walk away while the innocent needed her. (This is really quite a change from when she started out)She closed her eyes for a moment and turned to her husband, finding him close by and giving her a kiss on the cheek. She smiled softly nodding her head in agreement. "Alright, I'd like that."

It took her only a brief second to equip her outdoor gear and soon they were off hand in hand. The weather outside was actually nice, clear blue sky, no clouds, no wind, and a gentle nip tickled her cheeks as she walked. There had been a fresh snow last night, and the normal paths had not been trodden yet, meaning that they could hear every footstep. It was these days that made her happy to be on this floor. All the while Nikki had been preparing her thoughts, gathering her words, and setting her mind to her new task. She knew that in this case she would need to make the first move, despite her defensive nature. She would need to show her husband how serious she was, how much this meant to her. "I Heard a report that it wasn't just one player that died, but two." She knew that was the best way to start, it highlighted her own concern, and showed just how much they were needed. No one had died on any boss raid they had worked on, and with them gone players were dropping.

  15. Nikki sat at a rather large table watching Miaki . He had been very agitated today. With him it wasn't hard to tell, the way he walked and carried himself was a dead giveaway. But today, his tone was off, his speaking was strained, he was generally put out. She knew that she was part of the reason, having strong armed him into coming out of retirement to take on the lines again. They had fought about it, and eventually come to an understanding on the matter. She couldn't sit by while people died, and he couldn't let her go alone. That's what made them so strong, was how no matter what they stayed together. now though she found little ways to comfort him. She had tried on the trip here to put his mind at ease to little avail. And now, now that other members of the guild were to arrive she was forced to keep her respective distance and treat him the same as she would any officer.

The first player to arrive was a shady looking cloaked figure. His name was visible next to his health bar, as he was a guild member, and she read it out loud to herself. "Kosan" He seemed to have taken no notice of her, as he addressed Miaki speaking quickly, almost nervously. He must not be used to these kinds of affairs. To be fair though she was new to the Azure Brigade process. Her previous guild, the Ebon Vanguard had had a different way of passing info. Her commander would speak to her, and she would pass the information to her own Sergeants and troops. Each faction of the guild was governed by its own lieutenant, and that allowed it to run efficiently.

Zelrius arrived second, and Nikki instinctively stood up in the presence of her CO. She had gone to salute, but stopped herself, remembering his previous order of never doing that again. She quietly took her seat again, watching him as if she were waiting for something in particular. In truth she had no idea what to expect. How many more people would come? how many people had been summoned? Miaki had said it was a guild meeting, but did that mean all guild or just the officers? she was a warrant officer herself, though not high on the totem pole it granted her some power and a need to know what was going on.

  16. ((OOC: Finnick, the field rations applies the buff for the entire thread or 1 role play day, whichever comes first. This thread takes place over 2 days, meaning it will have worn off by the time we hit the boss. I would suggest you edit and save it for the last day.))

Nikki hated this floor most of all. Out of everything they had found, this was the one least like her home. It was hot, it made her sweat, and it smelled of sulfur and ash. She was used to the cold crisp airs of floor four. Its where she resided most of the time, and where she and her husband had rented a place together. It was on rare occasion that she ventured from her home, and rarer still that she came to this floor. In fact her last trip here had been when she had helped scout the boss room. She could remember vividly that moment when their small party entered the room for the first time. She had howled at the beast to get its attention and draw its fire so her friends could escape. It torched her as best as it could but she was far too resilient for it. That's why she had agreed to leave the front lines, she had forgotten how thick her own armor was, and assumed the boss was weak. Two players perished for her mistake.

Se suddenly realized what was going on and gave her head a quick shake, as if to dislodge the memories that caused her grief. She had just left the town and was following a not so familiar path in search of a new boss, the Cerberus. It had been for a quest, fight the hell hounds, attack the boss, get the reward. In this case it was a potion that applied fire damage to an attack. This was a delightful thought, and something that would certainly give her an edge in a fight.

Her pace had been fast as she soon caught up to a pair of players who had left earlier. She did not recognize them from the front lines, but they did carry themselves as if they knew what they were doing. They must have been hunting the Cerberus as well. She carried on staying a safe distance behind them, while running over the stats of the boss in her mind. 3 heads, 30 health each, 3 attacks, 3 damage each, plus fire, which as an effect luckily didn't stack. Still, that was a lot for 2 players to deal with. She wondered now if they knew what they were getting themselves into.

"Scuse me," She called out to the players in front of her. "You wouldn't be going after Cerberus would you?"

  17. The battle was in full swing now and Nikki was not going to drop the ball here. The Cherub had missed her once, his bow jabbing at her harmlessly in his attempt, but it had managed to land a few other shots, one of which even paralyzed another player. Luckily Kieth, the player in question had been saved at the last minute by the kiss of another. Despite the rather tender moment bringing a smile to her face, she retained her composure as she approached Cupid again. Around her others were attacking from all directions, the other groups coordinating their strikes and doing phenomenal damage. This had seemed only to annoy the creature as it lashed out at them with arrows. This was lucky as it allowed it to avoid thorn damage, rendering it a useless trait. Nikki however was not phased by this as she got closer to it. She drew reassurance from her group, from her husband, they were depending on her to protect them, and she would, something as trivial as a lack of damage was not going to stop her in the slightest.

The fact that it had only attacked her once, passing her off to attack other players was insulting. She had howled, shrieked as hard as she could and it seemed to only have a passing interest in her. Perhaps this wasn't like normal bosses, after all it was smart enough, not only to communicate, but to taunt and tease. Perhaps it was smart enough to avoid the pitfall of focused hatred. Still the Blue haired tank would not be denied, not by this pix-elated pest, or anything else by that matter. She brandished her shield now, shouting at the winged devil, while she smashed her spear into it. Her eyes were narrowed as she fixed her steel gaze on it. After another deep breath she released another ear splitting shriek to get its attention. This one was louder, harder than before. She would not be ignored, not again.

    Hatred: 1 (Post) + 3 (Howl) = 4

She smiled devilishly as her shriek ended, raising her spear and shield defensively in front of her. She continued to lock her gaze onto the creature as she stepped towards it again. "Come on you over sized pigeon. It's time to get yer throat slit." She hissed.

  18. Don't even talk about that thing Magikarp evolves into. Lets face it. The only bad thing about Magikarp is that it evolves into complete garbage. Remember, the B button was invented for a reason.

    Lets Look at stats.

    HP 20

    Attack 10

    Speed 80

Now 80 speed is great, but if Magikarp has swift swim that speed doubles in the rain. 160. That.. is... fast. In fact that is the second fastest speed among pokemon, (Tied with ninjask) and second only to Deoxys speed form.

Its move flail. If you can get Magikarp down to 1 health flail gets a base attack of 200... Focus sash, nuff said.

Magikarp is in the dragon egg group. Meaning you can breed it with some other sweet pokemon and create even more Magikarp.

And.. Magikarp is the only pokemon you can catch in the wild at lvl 100. (Gyrados at 100 can be found in B/W 2, but thats only because it was a Magikarp first.)

Now that we have the game stats lets look at the laws of physics.

As i have mentioned Magikarp can jump over mountains. Now we have no universal definition of what qualifies as a mountain so I'll use the UN requirement that it must be at least 8200 feet. So now, we have Magikarp a 22lb (Mis calculated weight in my previous post.) fish falling from a height of 8200 feet. With air resistance Magikarps terminal velocity would be around 131fps (89.5mph). That means when Magikarp hits you its doing so with enough pressure to crack concrete. Assuming it hit you in the head you'd be in a lot of trouble. BUT, that might not kill you.

What will kill you is the G force. Your head would be experiencing about 400 G. The most any human has survived is 214 by a man named Kenny Brack. So, at the point of impact that 22 lb fish is more like 881lbs, and that fish goes from roughly 131fps, to about 0 in such a short amount of time that almost all of that momentum, and kinetic is transferred directly to you. Basically you are mush.

But that's assuming that the world of pokemon follows our laws of physics, (Which we know by now that it doesn't)

Lets look at the extreme side of things now and pretend their is no air resistance to slow Magikarp down. That means that that same fish would be rocketing towards you at 726fps (495mph). That's about 5.5 times faster. Now it takes about 224 pounds of force to tear through human muscle, and less to rip through skin. And at the point of impact that fish now weighs 2.4 tons. So yeah... Boom

Its a safe assumption that be it at 131 fps, or 726 fps the odds of surving this attack are pretty slim if any.

If it grants you any solace though, you should know that Magikarp probably wouldn't survive the impact either. It would almost certainly be turned into Chum along with you or anything else unfortunate enough to get caught in its path of destruction.

    And just for fun...

The secret is that splash is so powerful that every time it is used the entire universe implodes and resets at great speed stopping at a point just after yet just before the move has been used therefor destroying all existence but resetting it as well giving Magikarp the power to both destroy and create life therefore making it GOD!

    Magikarp Clean Sweep

p.s. Magikarps shiny form is gold... GLORIOUS GOLD.
