  1. Floor 4 had been something that intrigued Jazmyne greatly, seeing as where she lived, before the game accident, snow dampened and muddied the ground rather than build itself up to create a sight as beautiful as this Floor provided. Snow crunched underneath the brunette's boots as she half-skipped, half-walked around in childish awe. Honestly, if she could have experienced this everyday during the Winter before, there'd be no one around that could stop her from playing outside in the snow. Picking piles up in her hands before letting the masses of snow drip between her thin fingers, Jazmyne hardly noticed the chill and dropping of her body temperature as an adrenaline rush and wonder took over all feeling.

For a short while, that is.

Soon enough Jazmyne found herself shivering uncontrollably. Her skin turned brown to a bright red, the brunette knew she had to find warmth. And what better place than a shop? Unlocked despite the sign that read "closed", Jazmyne made her way in and even had the chance to enjoy the heat from a built fire before being yelled at. Apparently the owner wasn't accepting customers this late and night and said owner threatened Jazmyne, using their weapon to kick the laughing girl from the building, remembering to bolt up the locks afterwards. Jazmyne lay flat on the ground, spitting out snow as she wiped white fluffs from her cloth clothing. Now she was cold again, which didn't help at all, but desired staying a bit longer on this Floor. Maybe even as long as the game lasted.

Walking idly in town, Jazmyne yelped as she felt her feet tangle up with an unknown mass, body falling forward. Bracing herself for impact, holding out her arms, Jazmyne fell once more into the soft, white snow. Lifting her head in annoyance, she groaned and searched for the someone or something that'd cause her to trip. Once she found the pink-haired female sitting down, legs out, Jazmyne furrowed her brows in a twisted scowl. "Thanks for that."

  2. Slightly startled when a menu flashed before her eyes, Jazmyne jumped back a few steps and froze as her wide, brown eyes stared in surprise at the "X" and "O". Taking a deep breath Jazmyne rolled her eyes before accepting the party request. It seemed in the process that Hakai had made quite a bit of progress considering distance, so Jazmyne picked up her pace to a quick walk in order to stroll next to the other female. "I agree."

Flipping her hair, Jazmyne turned her head to take a look at Rain, who was considerably behind, as she continued walking. "A slow walker, hmm? Hey, that's okay, I've met a lot of them so you're not alone." She smiled, chuckling lightly, before turning towards the front once more. "The world, this game, it moves too fast to stop walking. Never before have I heard of taking time for anything. You probably wouldn't understand. A lot of people don't." Jazmyne sighed, glancing in Hakai's direction to see the female's reaction before returning her gaze to the scenery around the group. She wanted to see reactions. If she'd be pitied or not. If anyone would care that she was talking seriously about her life. Not that this happened to be rare for Jazmyne whom enjoyed greatly talking about herself and herself only.

  3. Jazmyne really, really wanted to see this emote. In an way possible would be fine with her, yet he continued to stand still with no feeling embedded in that nonchalant expression and matching posture. Even his voice somehow managed to be annoyingly plain. Squinting her eyes, moving forward, Jazmyne moved to stand on her toes as she stretched out a tanned limb that would eventually meet with Creius' forehead. "Well duh, I don't know anybody that would go by such a weird name in real life." She moved her wandering finger to his cheek and pokes the pudgy flesh. Repeatedly. Jazmyne awaited reaction towards her childish actions, thin brows furrowed and smirk stretching wider with each touch. Moving back down to stand flat on her feet, Jazmyne flipped her hair, twirling the thick strand with one hand while the other rested comfortably on the protruding side of her hips. "It's Jazmyne."

At least she felt better. More whole and much more strong as a woman. Maybe she'd make it out with a little importance held to her name. Maybe. Or she'd break down eventually and not be able to go on. Or she'd die. But, of course, Jazmyne told herself she was too amazing to be able to possibly get hurt let alone die. Anyone who fell victim to her wrath or whip would perish so long as she wished. Soon enough. Until then she needed to accompany herself with the mechanics of Sword Art Online. "Uh..." Asking for help... That couldn't possibly work... But she found a way around this, naturally. "Maybe you could show me just how good you are at this game, what you know and all that junk. Just so I know for sure you ain't a liar or somethin'." This way she didn't sound or seem as weak. This way she could get what she wanted without falling to her knees and begging. "Start with... Working that inventory. Yeah. Know how to do that or are you actually dumber than I thought?"

  4. "We literally just told each other our names. It's Jazmyne, but I really do appreciate that you thought about me. Maybe I was wrong about you Hakai." Offering a genuine grin and calmed aura, Jazmyne stood closer to the female as she felt safer around Hakai rather than Rain himself. He was creepy, for the moment of course. As soon as the stranger proved that he wasn't going to attempt a kill or two out in the fields then Jazmyne would trust him. Lies weren't something she liked so of course Rain proving that he wasn't would mean a lot to her. As she moved closer to Hakai, Jazmyne nodded in understanding. If she were powerful enough there wouldn't be anybody able to hold her back from killing as she pleased.

"Let's all do what we want but stick together. Then when we get tired let's split the materials and things will just go on from there I guess. Sounds good to me." Without asking for confirmation the brunette began pacing towards the path that would lead the group out of the safe-zone and into the Floor 1 Fields.

  5. Huffing loudly, slouching lazily on the wooden chair she currently occupied, Jazmyne pulled a frown onto her face before averting her gaze elsewhere. "Just woke up from some kind of nightmare about 2 days ago. Ain't much I could do the past 48 hours." At least, Jazmyne thought, she had an excuse for appearing weak. "And I meant by appearance not by gear." Jazmyne had muscle. She was naturally intimidating and took immense pride in this. When someone attempted, even if not on purpose, to ruin this special feeling for her? Jazmyne would deny and verbally retaliate, naturally. The brunette slowly turned her head, tongue brushing against the inside of her mouth as she scanned the female sitting in front of her. Suddenly Jazmyne's eyes shifted from a dull, disrespectful glare into a far more welcoming, warm, relieved twinkle hidden behind a dark brown hue. No longer did the teenager feel quite so threatened or annoyed. This girl had fought back in the first place, after all, which deserved respect. Plus whoever this was happened to be undeniably aesthetically adorable, an unfortunate soft spot that Jazmyne had.

"You don't seem happy, but maybe that's just because you also didn't want to sit with someone else. Maybe we were supposed to make friends. Like fate and whatever, y'know?" Tilting her head curiously, the brunette continued after further analyzing the stranger with slightly squinted eyes, that returned to normal once she'd finished. "I'm Jazmyne. Might as well tell me your username too since we'll be stuck together for a while. If you're willing to stay long, I mean."

If Jazmyne had been making "friends" for as long as she'd been awake in Sword Art Online, then she certainly wouldn't stop the streak now or anytime soon. Hopefully this girl could handle an insult or two. Honesty, Jazmyne called it.

  6. She was stupid. Reckless. Ego stretched too far to prevent such a mess from happening. It was too late to run away now, not that Jazmyne would ever attempt to do so, even if her life depended on it. Actually, her life probably did depend on making such a tough choice. But it had to happen. She had to-

"Ay, Jazmyne, you scared? And here I was beginning to actually believe you aren't a spoiled, whiny bitch. Guess I was wrong, hmm~?" A tall, orange-haired, freckled woman teased Jazmyne, twirling the tanned girl's hair between two fingers. Red eyes flashed, mocking Jazmyne with their testing glare, sending a shiver down her spine as the freckled woman continued moving forward, three others player not far behind as Jazmyne paced quickly in order to keep up with the front of the group, not wanting to seem weak or incapable of following the dangerous guild.

    Nevermind.

The brunette groaned, her insides churning as soon as the crunch of grass reached her attentive ears. Every person apart of this "guild" kept Jazmyne in a tight circle, trapped and confined to the center as they made way further and further into the open fields of Floor 1. Jazmyne could hear her own heart beating in her ears, butterflies flapping their wings rapidly within her stomach as chocolate colored eyes darted back and forth nervously. Her first time out in the fields consisted of being stuck without a weapon, yet with potential PKers who knew a dare would get to a competitive Jazmyne. The dare being to prove that she could fend off a few monsters despite being Level 1. Jazmyne felt idiotic for risking her life but had to prove how strong she'd become no matter what it took. Her ego wouldn't allow not taking the dare, nor would her hatred for the small guild of Level 20's. They'd pushed her around all day continuously, and now went a bit too far for Jazmyne's liking.

"Why'd you stop? Pathetic mutt, I knew you couldn't handle a task so simple. You disgust me."

A kick to one of Jazmyne's knees, from who knows, and the brunette fell to the ground with a gasp. The four players surrounding her began laughing while throwing crude insults in her direction. Jazmyne felt weak, incapable of protecting herself, and all sorts of emotions that weren't detectable at the moment because of the way she felt as if she were being squeezed to death on the inside. There wasn't ever a problem with insecurity on her part, not at all, but when you're rude enough to anyone they're bound to break eventually. Without hope, feeling alone and stuck in time, Jazmyne didn't even flinch as the freckled woman, the leader she presumed, pulled out a fancy rapier, holding the weapon dangerously close to Jazmyne's head.

"Get. Away." The brunette muttered, slowly crawling to her feet, flipping long, brown locks over her shoulders. "I'll kill you if I have to! I won't tell you twice! Get away from me and stop telling yourself lies, because I'll let you know I'm ten times better than any of you will ever be!" Naturally she felt powerful, quickly equipping her Bull-Whip in defiance. But Jazmyne couldn't do anything. She didn't even know how to or where to begin. The rest clearly knew this as their chuckles only grew in volume.

Even after everything she'd been through, Jazmyne wouldn't give up. Because then she would've been telling lies about her strength, and lies weren't something that Jazmyne attached herself to.

  7. The first two days of Sword Art Online were... interesting. Jazmyne socialized much more than she probably ever had in an entire lifetime, always meeting others in odd ways, though on the inside she felt grateful for being presented with potential friends, even if she didn't seem to feel this way on the outside. She had also been "reborn". No longer did an angry, lonely, pathetic little girl take her place. Now stood a woman who feared just as much as everyone else, yet had discovered what path she'd take on the journey that would end with escaping this death game. Jazmyne was strong because she now allowed herself to feel the emotions she'd previously ignored. Maybe that didn't matter the to gaming system, considering how weak she was in level and power, but it sure did matter an awful lot to the brunette who would've never thought she'd be willing to fight in the first place. Doing so just took so much... Work. It'd likely be quite a while before anyone could find Jazmyne out in the fields by herself, without aid, or with a Profession and her own shop, but she was taking baby steps towards her future every day.

Today not necessarily being one of those days filled with progress of any type. In fact Jazmyne had been idly walking around, stopping when curiosity brought her to a couple musicians playing their instruments in the middle of a bustling part of the Starting City. The music wasn't all that bad, honestly, and Jazmyne could actually listen to it without internally cringing or walking away in disgust. When the show had ended the singer of the group remained on her high-in-the-air pedestal whilst the rest of the group climbed off of their lower-placed spots. Naturally the singer desired more attention and even bowed a few times, waving in the style of a Princess with a bright smile plastered onto her face.

    And then she fell.

After enough attention had been gained, the singer moved to jump from her pedestal to join her fellow musicians and slipped in a very ungraceful fashion. Screaming, plunging towards the ground, the singer now lay face-first, body sprawled out on the ground like a corpse. Jazmyne grinned. Then she smiled. And soon laughter erupted from the brunette as she clutched her burning stomach. The rest of the crowd either snickered, watched in awe, chatted about the event, walked away, or rushed to help the blonde singer. Nobody laughed as hard as Jazmyne did, or so she thought until the black and white haired female standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the teenager decided to let out mocking chuckles similar to Jazmyne's. Maybe even louder. With an expression and sigh of satisfaction Jazmyne leaned over to speak to this mystery player. One that'd immediately caught her interest and ultimately seemed to have great taste.

"She probably faked it for attention. Girls like her make me sick, really."

Okay, she was sort of being a hypocrite. but Jazmyne fell oblivious to this fact and continued to think this because of such ignorance.

  8. Okay. The Princess was being ignored and not getting what she wanted. Whatever. Jazmyne rolled her chocolate colored eyes, turned her head away and crossed both thin arms over her chest before slowly and reluctantly replying, "It's Jazmyne. You know if you're not the socializing type then I'm pretty surprise by how much you talk and the fact that you even walked over here. Is it a special day or something?" The teenager caught up the strange, eyeing him suspiciously. "Gonna take us out into the field and get in a few kills for the day?" Suddenly she felt... frightened by the thought of a trap that'd only recently popped into her mind, but all the more intimidated as well. She could fight. Really. But that was in real life and those rules didn't apply here. There would be no combat for Jazmyne. Not today, and probably not any time soon either.

"I'm not strong enough yet. You should've caught on to that by now, whatever-your-name-is. I'll get killed by one mistake, duh. How about we material gather instead?"

  9. Without any knowledge whatsoever about Sword Art Online and gaming in general, Jazmyne felt left out and pretty unintelligent as well. Huffing rather loudly the brunette crossed both arms over her chest before showcasing a sour expression. "Eesh. I didn't ask you two to get into a nerd war or anything. I just wanted to know if her stories were the real deal or not." Once again she tossed hair over her shoulder in an impatient fashion, highly disliking the conversation topic as well as the fact that she wasn't the current center of attention. "But," She began once more, raising her tone of voice as a smirk arose, "this girl does seem to know more. I know I wasn't before but if anything were to happen I'd take Hakai's side." She only told the truth and was being completely honest here, but also played a mischievous game by exposing her opinion. Jazmyne wanted to keep the "fight" going for entertainment purposes. Because why not?

  10. During the night Jazmyne certainly couldn't deny how gorgeous the Starting City could be. A lot of players seemed to be tired of the glimmering night lights or calm aura that engulfed the city, but Jazmyne wasn't and wouldn't be for a while, she reckoned. At least through these feelings she could remind herself how humane Sword Art Online truly was. Not that she'd rather be here than in the own bustling city she occupied, that wasn't the case. Jazmyne simply felt pleased with the fact that she could slip away from thoughts of death for even a few short seconds. Every moment she could relax would be well worth it. And she couldn't do anything during the night anyways, that'd be too dangerous to attempt, even more so than when the sun shined on Aincrad. The only time she could slow down for once in her forcefully face-paced life. Thus the night quickly became Jazmyne's favorite time of day. Before she could hardly tell time, always cooped up inside her room in front of a screen instead of enjoying the scenery outside. Jazmyne made a promise to herself only a few hours ago that she'd enjoy the real world more once it came back around. And perhaps she'd even make a few true friends in the process...

This train of thought wouldn't change the fact that Jazmyne generally disliked every person that crossed her path. People were often annoying, awkward, or both. Plus she could care less about anybody other than herself. The situation at hand didn't help much with her opinions. Jazmyne had decided to visit a free inn for people that were young, elderly, or had been in a coma recently and hadn't had time to grow as a player. Just her cup of tea. Not that everyone followed these guidelines. Jazmyne spotted plenty of higher leveled players in the building which derived a scoff from the tan female. Typical. Quite honestly the brunette didn't mind the heavy business seeing as she could go sit outside anytime she pleased and would ultimately have a room to herself. However, when a waitress in the small cafe she found near the back of the inn apologized for having another player sit with Jazmyne due to increased activity, the brunette scowled and cursed underneath her breath. The waitress hadn't even asked for confirmation before seemingly shoving a small, sweet looking female forward towards the two-seater table.

"Hm. You're cute. Well hurry up and sit down before I take the extra chair away and change my mind." Staring at her nails with a bored expression, Jazmyne continued. "Staying the night or forever? You don't look like much of a fighter to me."

  11. Oh how Jazmyne despised this stranger for making her feel. Who didn't care a bit about her, she could tell by the way he acted, or about the danger she imposed on herself. And now he wanted her to work?! To actually go out and fight all alone. Who would carry her? Who would tell her what to do and how to do it and when? Who would be there when she needed food or a shoulder to cry on? Nobody. And without a somebody she was automatically a nobody. Jazmyne, being quite the narcissist, could hardly believe the words pouring with ease from the boy's mouth. With such ease it sent a shiver down her spine at the thought of how little she mattered to him. Everyone in Jazmyne's life had cared for her so much before... Everyone. Now things were different and she wasn't exactly what you would call "ready" to accept this fact. Such a brutal, unwanted fact.

Slowly she moved away from the wall, shoving hardly sore fists into the pockets of her cloth pants. They were almost as soft as her mother's sewn clothing. Almost. Roughly wiping tears away from her puffy, red face, Jazmyne cleared her throat and turned to finally make eye contact with the boy who'd given her completely honest advice. The little ounce of her not feeling immense emotions were glad that she could hear this so soon. So quickly and bluntly that she respected the words and the one who spoke them. Okay, she didn't like the player standing before her, in fact she hated him. But that was a step up from despite, right? Her feelings took a sharp turn, heart burning as her chest heaved, mouth open as she breathed deeply.

"I'll find my solace. You wouldn't understand but I need someone there for me or I'l never have any motivation. Not that I would expect someone as shallow as you to even have friends in order to actually know what I'm going through... But I'll try to fight. Okay? And I'll calm down, too. Well, actually, no promises there but I won't be that crazy lady in the street anymore- ah, [censored]." The brunette tugged at the strands of her hair, moving hands from her pockets to thick, brown locks. She furrowed her brows as she shook her head. "I let myself go. I really messed up." Knowing that she let fear and the thought of death take over, Jazmyne had refrained from being her usual discrete self. What if this happened every time someone exposed a raw truth? Every time someone brought up the game and its affects on her life? "This is your fault. I blame you. I'm not supposed to do this..."

Smacking her forehead, Jazmyne lifted her eyes to meet the boy's. Might as well try this whole "friend" thing out if she already exposed her emotions to him. Quite pathetically, she had to admit, and there wasn't a doubt in Jazmyne's mind that she'd feel far too much shame and guilt that night to sleep.

"What's your name?... Little man." Choking out the last part, Jazmyne covers her mouth as her eyes twinkle and heart beat slows to a relaxed pace, awaiting an expected answer. Her mood had a tendency to change rather quickly. Obvious proof that she was indeed a female.

  12. For a while now Jazmyne had been watching a player, one that she found out went by the name "Hakai", boast about her extraordinary accomplishments and spectacular skills. Envy flooded Jazmyne's entire being yet she remained calm and composed as always. Once she got out in those fields and drew her whip then there wouldn't be a single story that any player in Sword Art Online would wanna miss as long as it was told by "the great Jazmyne". Flipping long, brown hair, the teenage girl rolled her chocolate eyes before speaking.

"Is that even true? Sounds pretty fake to me."

Quiet chatter began in the crowd around her as Jazmyne stared Hakai down. Jazmyne didn't know the truth but she hated lies and wanted to know exactly what was going on here. Stories of combat couldn't possibly be this interesting. Right? She'd gotten bored too soon and quickly found herself starting an unneeded situation where possible argument could arise.

    Typical Jazmyne.

Though she had been keeping her eyes on Hakai, Jazmyne noticed an unnoticed male walking rather closely to the small group, nodding her head in his direction as a sort of welcoming. "Hey, you." She called out to the approaching stranger. "Do you think this girl is a fake?"

  13. Taken by surprise, Jazmyne hadn't expected to be touched in such a way that mimicked her own actions, let alone dragged into an alley. She didn't begin screaming or protesting with "get off me"s or "you can do that"'s until the two were already in the darkened place between two buildings. Fear enveloped Jazmyne's fear and mind entirely. Here anything could happen, just like the real world. Here she had been rendered defenseless as well as paralyzed by her own emotions. Death, naturally, happened to be the one thing that fought past her tough mental barrier that usually stood tall, making her a powerful force to reckon with. If she couldn't think straight in this situation than any others would be far too dangerous to experience. Deadly, even. Though in her stiff state Jazmyne heard every word that shook her from doing nothing to feeling something.

Realization hit like a freight train, and too soon.

"I can't be strong if I don't have anybody!" She yanked the stranger's arm once more, though immediately let go and backed away as if disgusted with herself, the world, and especially the male who'd bumped into her in the first place. Who "messed" with her mind and made the poor girl think about what she'd been avoiding all along. "How was I 'sposed to become strong anyways? I just woke up yesterday! And who cares if I get killed? My friends couldn't even bother to check on me! My entire life, not just this stupid game!"

Jazmyne punched the nearest wall. Once. Twice. Repeatedly until she became blinded by rage and couldn't stop herself. "I shoulda just moved on like I always have to." She mumbled as tears spilled down her cheeks. She was weak. Crying out of shame and fear at once. Crying because she missed home much more than she let on. "Those days I was knocked out all I saw or heard were memories. Don't go tellin' a girl she needs to "get her act together" when so much bullshit is happening."

Those fists wouldn't stop themselves and she wouldn't stop this stranger if he truly wanted to leave her alone. He'd be the same as everyone else, anyways.

  14. "That's impossible! Clearly you're lying!"

Jazmyne angrily paced back and forth before an elderly NPC with a worried expression plastered onto her ghastly pale face. Said NPC had decided to bake vanity deserts and give them away. Immediately a large line had formed, but by the time Jazmyne had gotten a turn to pick a pastry the elderly woman apologized for running out of food. Jazmyne's heart pumped furiously inside her chest seeming as if it'd jump out of her throat at any given time. The tan female had turned a rare, bright tomato red and now had no control over her limbs. She didn't have anger issues or repressed anger, surprisingly. Jazmyne was starving. The bread she had wasn't appetizing in the least and so her stomach had been empty for approximately two days. How she longed for a full cooked warm meal and a drink of her mother's wine. In Sword Art Online if you begged no one listened. No one cared. You were along to fend for yourself.

In this way Jazmyne did not fit in. She stood out greatly as a teenage girl who still held on to pathetic, baby-like ways and thus even if a caring soul approached they found no reason to help such a spoiled brat. Jazmyne knew this thus why she resorted to anger as a replacement of being scared, lonely, and sad. She knew exactly how to feel angry and exactly how to act with anger itself. That would always much, much easier than dealing with difficult, disheartening, complex emotions that presented more issues than anger ever seemed to in her lifetime. The NPC continuously apologizing only tired Jazmyne who now rubbed her temples with annoyance. With disgust embedded in every visible feature of her figure, the brunette spat on the old woman's shoes before turning to walk away.

Her thin shoulder collided with another. They must've been standing in line too or had been watching her childish reaction to rejection. Jazmyne turned to scowl in the direction of the stranger who dare stand in her way, and the tanned female held quite the intimidating aura until her stomach quivered and loudly rumbled. A deep blush covered her cheeks. Jazmyne paused with her mouth open as she'd lost words to say as the world seemed to stop. How embarrassing. Especially in front of such a beautiful stranger, too, who probably never even had the problems that Jazmyne currently did.

"There's no food left because this old hag can't be bothered to make more." An awkward croak made way through the air as the brunette spoke, providing a blush now covering her body from head to toe.

This had to be the worst social moment in Sword Art Online by far for a "usually self-confident" Jazmyne.

  15. Jazmyne hadn't quite wrapped her head around such a complex gaming system yet. She suffered from the inability to ask for help in fear of seeming weak which rendered her useless in terms of equipping a weapon or checking to see how much money she had. If only those friends, the same ones who promised to be there for her, had been around to teach her how things worked! The gamers of the small group decided to teach the newbies, Jazmyne being one of them, who exactly games of this sort worked out. The basics, cheats, mechanisms, skills and combat. But where were they now? Probably dead or frightened to the bone, she concluded, or else the few people she had to call friends would've been around to assist her already.

At least she had an excuse. Jazmyne had been knocked out pretty cold early in the game and eventually woke up. Eventually as in yesterday. Now she held a permanent scowl as a facial expression and stomped her feet on the ground with every step. At the moment she could easily be compared to a young child throwing a temper tantrum. Pushing and shoving through a busy crowd, honestly having no where to be but seeming as if she were late for something, Jazmyne continuously made her way through Sword Art Online similar to how she survived city life. Continuous moving onward, especially because there wasn't anyone or anywhere else to go to.

Unfortunately a force that couldn't be avoided unleashed one of her worst faults. One accidental shove and Jazmyne stumbled backwards, falling onto other players who in return pushed the light-weight brunette forwards. The motions made her sick, but too much anger coursed through her already boiling veins for said sickness to even gain the chance to shine through. A tanned limb stretches out to grab the hem of the stranger's shirt, pulling him close to her twisted face. Something dangerous came to life behind those sweet, dull brown eyes. Something that could scare a grown man if truly wanted.

"Ay, little man, shove me again why don't ya? It's rude to hit a girl... Real rude. Why'd you do it? Don't leave me without answers, bub, I'm a lot stronger than I look and it wouldn't take much to shove you out into one of those fields full of monsters that'll eat you up in a heartbeat. C'mon. Talk already!"

Funny how she would call someone much taller "little man". Even funnier how she wasn't even that angry at this poor stranger. Jazmyne just wanted to go home like everyone else. Soon enough this hatred would burn out. But first she had to get rid of it through any source possible. The crowd moved around the two which made it seem as if time had stopped and continued only on the outside of their tiny personal circle.

    -- H I S T O R Y --
There's nothing special to the name Nova Anselm. Neighborhood residents will tell you that. Her friends will tell you that. Her parents will tell you that. Even Nova herself will speak this simple truth, though with a moment of hesitation, if you were to ask. She resides in a busy city full of busy people on a busy island, while she herself stands alone, still, and completely content. Nova learns to keep her feet moving while walking among the heavy-populated streets of Japan. There's no time to stop or wonder or think or to even look back to see how far you've gone. And Nova is okay with this. Okay with her life and okay with everything along with everyone in it. Her few friends are from early childhood, too close of a bond to break despite the yearning to now that they've realized Nova isn't quite what anyone would call "friend material".

Her parents feel as if they aren't good enough. Their only child needs more and is growing, so this is their excuse. They spoil her and Nova slips back into the state of a whiny five-year old child who can get what they want with the stomp of a foot. She loses her friends. She slips into a steady life of occupying herself with useless gadgets for entertainment and friendship. The internet provides all the social time she'll ever need, while school becomes a hassle due to Nova's ego taking over as she signs up for only the most difficult of courses.

It's when Nova fails those courses that she's given Sword Art Online. Failure suddenly becomes irrelevant as Nova seeks to meet up with a group of online friends once the BETA tests are over, to move on with her life like she always has instead of studying harder for next time because her narcissism tells the brunette that she'll be fine. Fine as in she doesn't have to do a thing and she'll know everything in time. Fine as in she can't possibly fail again.

Except she does. Because the game's a death trap and Nova is actually alone for once in her life. No one out there to spoil or care for her. No one to talk to. No one to call Mom or Dad.

Nova will just have to make her biggest mistake one huge victory to brag about once the game is over.

TRUSTWORTHY : Jazmyne remains, no matter what, completely honest at all times because the brunette knows she wouldn't want to be lied to anytime, for any reasons. She prefers the truth even if it's brutal or hurtful or opinionated. In this way Jazmyne believes she can improve herself from honesty as well as find out who she can trust in the process. Not a single person, because of her views, has to worry about Jazmyne participating in any types of trickery involving lying, betrayal, or any sort of behavior that would make others re-think the way they'd previously thought about Jazmyne herself. She's reliable and honorable, always sticking to this code even in difficult situations or stress-provoking circumstances.

STRENGTH : Physically and mentally Jazmyne has immense strength. She's always had a powerhouse force and plenty of muscle mass to provide greater strength than most of her peers since a young age due to genetics that only became enhanced over time. Jazmyne is able to block nearly all negative forces that attack her mindset or emotions which in turn keep the brunette level-headed and generally calm. Though she can't withstand everything the world throws at her, she can hold her own through quite a bit of chaos and has proven so in the past.

UPDATE : Now the only thing, it seems, that can lead her away from a clear, focused mine is the thought of death as it strikes fear within her heart. Or physical contact can send her blushing and a little hazy since she's not exactly used to such intimacy.

DISCRETE : Though Jazmyne hasn't gained much friends because of her secretive self that tends to push people away or giving rather mixed first impressions, her discreteness is indeed a virtue. She can always be trusted to keep secrets and to not prod on anyone, even by accident, when it's unwanted because Jazmyne keeps to herself. The brunette also has a hard time, due to this trait, connecting and getting close with others. This way she is less hurt, stressed, and worried about relationships while being able to maintain as much as people tell her without letting any other single soul know about such important information.

UPDATE : Though now that she's actually socializing and meeting new faces, Jazmyne has a tendency to speak about her life pre-SAO along with other things on whim, so there's less pushing others away and more letting them in. Which, overall, is a good thing because she's making more friends.

Impatient : If the world can't keep up with her then Jazmyne will move on without it. To the brunette life moves along far too quickly to stop moving, and so do the people around her. She's a level-headed person but can become quickly irritated if kept waiting or if dealing with a particularly annoying person. Also, if dealt with ill-mannerly, ignored, or angered somehow, Jazmyne will feel provoked and won't be afraid to lash out or say exactly what's on her mind. Her wrath isn't deadly but usually can't be competed with nor challenged. Expect Jazmyne to be a bit testy or sassy as well, especially if you're encountering her for the first time.

UPDATE : Jazmyne has realized she needs to relax a bit at certain times. Especially in a death game. Though she still moves along with the world like before, it's not as often, and she's definitely learned to take a seat when needed. Of course people are still too slow for the brunette.

Callous : It's hard for Jazmyne to sympathize in any way or manner. She cares about herself and herself only, the feelings of others often disregarded, un-cared for, misunderstood, or forgotten by the brunette. Because she could care less about this flaw Jazmyne carries her callousness around out in the open without a care. If she ever does care it's because she's involved or could be affected by a certain event or person. This is what gives her a not-so-good first impression on others. Jazmyne seems as if she'd leave you dying simply if she felt like doing so on that certain day. Being quite the hypocrite when her callousness is taken into consideration, Jazmyne dislikes when nobody around feeds her the craved attention she requires or when she's hurt and nobody will take care of her properly. Jazmyne is completely oblivious of this flaw.

UPDATE : Apparently extreme beauty, curiosity, or adorableness can send Jazmyne into a slightly caring state, those being her weaknesses. But it's honestly not much. And most of the time she doesn't really care, she just wants to find out things she doesn't know.

Egotistical : Being self-centered has always affected Jazmyne. Along with not caring for the feelings of others, she also has gained a huge ego over the length of her lifetime that says she's the most important, should be cared for, and that she doesn't have to worry about anyone other than herself. Being narcissistic leaves most wondering if Jazmyne is even worth trusting as she always boasts and seems to only speak about her accomplishments. The minimal, not-even-close-to-special accomplishments she hold dear to her heart. Don't worry, she's still completely trustworthy, the brunette simply has an undying self obsession. Being alone with her parents, who spoiled their child silly, most of her childhood, Jazmyne can't seem to identify when those surrounding her are annoyed or wouldn't mind if she payed attention to them and would quit speaking of herself.
