  1. FrenchToaster kept moving down the busy streets, with the heavy satchel, hoping that at any time it was taken from them so they didn't have to carry the weight of it anymore. As FrenchToaster was about to give up, and drop the quest, they see a leaf fly by, down one of the other streets connected to theirs. A few seconds later, FrenchToaster realized that a leaf meant there was a tree nearby, and if there was one tree, there were more to be found. "LEAF!" shouted FrenchToaster, as they booked it down the street the leaf took. Once FrenchToaster turned the corner, they saw a miracle appear right before them. There were dozens of trees. One might even call it a grove of trees. In the middle of all the trees was the blacksmith Lyle Tealeaf. The heavy satchel hit the ground hard, falling off of FrenchToaster's shoulders as they fell to their knees and started  to pray on the grass for the Bench God's good will.

  2. FrenchToaster takes their third quest, and rests for the long journey to the grove of trees with the satchel given by Lyle, which needs to be delivered to an artisan named Hannah.. "Why are these quests all about delivering items to people? Why can't there be a quest where you build a house or something? Building things is much better than walking around a lot. Walking would be much better if I had a HORSE!" FrenchToaster walked on, trying to find a grove of trees, without their beloved horse they will never have. As they walked, they grew very hungry, due to not eating any food the past week or so. FrenchToaster increases their speed, hoping the grove of trees had some trees bearing any fruit, like apples or pears. "Why does the Town of Beginnings have to be so huge? I haven't covered half of the town, and I've been here for weeks now...." Growing restless, FrenchToaster slouched forward with the satchel, which weighs a literal ton, and carried away down the paths they were directed to.

  3. FrenchToaster, after exiting Lyle's shop, began to think about what they were going to do if or when they got a house. "I could make the second room of the house an area where I pray to the Bench Lord, but it costs a lot of money to add another room, let alone a second story. I guess  will just have to start farming up cash so I can afford a nice house for myself, but first, I need a bench amulet...." Amused with the idea of a Bench amulet, necklace, or a pendant, FrenchToaster started walking around, looking into many shops in the Town of Beginnings, but could find nothing matching the item they wanted. Very upset, FrenchToaster started their long return to Lyle's shop to accept the third quest of the tutorial. On their way back, they were pelted with sticks, flying out from anywhere and everywhere. They accepted this fact, and continued on.

  4. FrenchToaster is running at their max speed down the paved path in the Town of Beginnings, and finds Lyle's shop at the end of the road. They start running even faster, and glance slightly at the current time, which reads "5:58". FrenchToaster, running so fast, doesn't notice a small pebble protruding from the road, and stumbles over it. They climb to their feet, and start limping over to the shop, wishing the distance was already closed. FrenchToaster makes it inside of the shop right as the clock changes to six. "I'm..............Here........... Now......." FrenchToaster says as they fall to their knees at the door of the shop, trying to catch their breath. FrenchToaster put out their right hand, which held the three required boar tusks they had collected hours before. Lyle stops cleaning up, takes the tusks, and starts working vigilantly. FrenchToaster is given their desired rewards, and with their second quest finished, the search for their next mission to successfully complete.

  5. FrenchToaster glanced at the time, noticing their in-game clock read "5:42". "Lyle closes their shop at 6:00, so I have eighteen minutes to return to the town of beginnings... I wish it wasn't such a long walk though!" FrenchToaster prayed at the nearest bench for a few minutes, they checked their clock again and started their way towards the town that they began in. After what seemed like an endless run on an never ending path, they took a break in the shade of a nearby tree. FrenchToaster sat on the grass, since there were no benches nearby. "This has been one of the longest walks I have ever taken, and I'm not even half way back yet.... The time is 5:49, there is no way I'm gonna get back in time...." FrenchToaster gets off the grass slowly, and starts back on the dirt road, still hoping that they might make it back in time to turn in their second quest.

  6. FrenchToaster cuts their sentence short, and resumes the process of dropping their dagger into the boar. Once the dagger hits the boars hide, it uses the last of it's energy to kick FrenchToaster right in the nose, causing them to stumble back, and swing in pain. The first swing misses, but the second connects with the boar's underbelly, cutting into it' vital organs. The boar vanishes in a cloud of pixels as FrenchToaster gets up and recollects their thoughts on the the quest at hand. "I don't know what just got over me.... I went wild....? Hopefully this never comes over me again, so I can return to carrying out the Bench Lord's commands without hesitance." FrenchToaster went to the site of the first boar killed in the lengthy battle, and searches them for a tiny tusk. Once FrenchToaster gains purchase on the tusk, they collect it and move on to the second boar, where they find the last needed tusk for the current quest. "Well, that madness was worth it I guess, but I still do feel bad for what I did to those boars.... Anyway, I need to get going. Lyle is going to close up shop for the day, and I don't want to get behind on quests!"

  7. FrenchToaster waits for many minutes, watching the boar's breath not slowing down. "It seems that if I leave you here, you might just recover from this. I can't have you recovering from this though, because then you might gather up all of the other boars, and plan to attack me when I'm unaware of it, and if I don't want something to happen, that means the Bench Lord definitely doesn't want it to happen, so it won't happen." FrenchToaster, growing tired of debating with a dying animal, puts both hands on their dagger, and lifts it above the boar. The boar's eyes light up, as it tried to use any of it's remaining energy to escape their inevitable death, yet their feet don't catch the ground. "Now, little boar, don't make this harder for me, because I might just make it a lot harder for you, and that wouldn't feel good, having this dagger plunge into your hide, very slowly...."

  8. FrenchToaster turned towards the hurt boar, and ran right towards it. As they ran towards it, the other, weaker boar wanted to get in some more damage, and had propelled itself towards FrenchToaster. FrenchToaster heard a tiny, very quite branch snap in half, and swung their dagger to their left, slicing the weak boar across their face, killing them instantly. "What a shame. You could have fought better than that, but you had to run straight towards me without a care in the world. I guess I'll have to take out my anger on this other boar then." FrenchToaster moved towards the other boar very slowly, drawing out the fight as long as they could, to give them time to decide what to do with this enemy of their god. FrenchToaster unsheathed their dagger and crouched next to the dying boar, waiting to see if there was any more fight in it.

  9. FrenchToaster, aiming at the stronger of the two Boar Pups, steadied their stance better, getting a hang of all of this fighting nonsense. "Why must their be death and sin, when there can be holy wood being transformed into ultimate items being sent to the Bench Lords above..... " Once again spreading their faith, FrenchToaster began to lose focus of their surroundings, allowing the two Boars the chance to attack him. "No matter, you have now sinned and broken the pact between yourselves and the Bench Lord himself, and I shall bring upon his reckoning and smite you where you stand!" FrenchToaster, being true to their godly words, smacked their dagger into the side of the first Boar, dealing massive amounts of damage to it, almost killing it instantly. "You are stronger than perceived. You shall be taken to the Bench Lord himself, and given the best judgement a Boar can receive. Now, die."

  10. FrenchToaster continued walking through the plains of Aincrad, when the wind slowed to a halt. FrenchToaster looked around, expecting anything to pop out from the close treeline. As expected, two Boar pups jumped out, and got stuck on each other. Very menacing. "I could take these two on, as long as I'm not as unlucky as usual. Bring it on little Boars." FrenchToaster steadied their stance, and raised their dagger to their side, waiting for the Boars to make the first move. The boars, however, were still stuck on each other, trampling themselves, until one disappeared into the ground. The boar soon resurfaced, but was very weak and unable to fight. "I'll take on the strong one to get it out of the way, and then I'll mercy the other one, since it doesn't look like it will live long, being the weaker of the two." The boars got up, readying themselves to fight the strongest, and first, opponent they have ever fought.

  11. FrenchToaster, using their extreme expertise of daggers, which they bought a belt on eBay for, which is all of their training, quite literally ALL of their training, they sprint towards the Boar, defying space and time around them, teleporting meters towards the boar, to less than a foot away. FrenchToaster then sliced the Boar right down the side as it had started charging towards them seconds before. The Boar, noticing their enemy's position had moved, turned their head slightly, causing FrenchToaster's knee to lightly be scraped by the Boar's sharp teeth. FrenchToaster, realizing the battle was over, sheathed the dagger, and went to try and loot the Boar for it's nice tusk. Not knowing the Boar's age beforehand, FrenchToaster found that it had not aged enough to grow out the tusks long enough for them to be considered loot able. FrenchToaster, defeated with their victory, searched the plains for a sign of any other Boar pups in the area.

  12. FrenchToaster reaches out and grabs their dagger, but not in time. The Boar had already gotten their head out of the fallen tree seconds earlier, and had raced over to collide again into his right side. FrenchToaster managed to kick the Boar off before it started it's deathly kicking, and grabbed his dagger. "Nice try Boar, but I can do better than you will ever be able to!" FrenchToaster ran and then slid over to the Boar, not noticing that what they were looking at was actually a small rock with some moss on top of it. The Boar Pup, noticing FrenchToaster's confused glance, charged again, hoping to pin FrenchToaster to the ground, and deal some serious damage with their ferocious hooves and their powerful kicks.  The Boar missed though, allowing FrenchToaster to prepare for the next delivery of blows between themselves and their enemy who was about to be defeated.

  13. FrenchToaster, getting upright from the second roll, decided to run towards the enemy and jump midway in a quick rotation for a nice slice on the boar, yet they hadn't calculated the Boar's speed. If seen from a third person view, it could easily be seen that FrenchToaster jumped straight over the boar, quickly followed by the boar getting their head stuck in a very old, hundred pound log, while FrenchToaster turned too fast, causing their dagger to move them forward, and with the force of gravity also acting on them, they hit the ground, hard. FrenchToaster's dagger jumped out of their hand, flying several meters away, scraping into the dirt as it collided with the cold and damp earth below. FrenchToaster, instead of pulling themselves off the ground, decided to start crawling the multiple meters towards their dagger, while the Boar began pulling their head out of the log, very slowly, yet increasing in speed fast.

  14. FrenchToaster, turning around so fast, had enough time to react to the Boar Pup's next blow, rolling out of the way, carrying some of the leaves and grass with them. The Boar Pup, not realizing that FrenchToaster dodging was a possibility, ran straight into a tree, dazing it long enough for FrenchToaster to thrust their dagger into it's thick back hide multiple times, causing it to screech in pain, and run a few meters out to recover. FrenchToaster rubbed their right side, making sure it wouldn't halt them when trying to strike the boar again. "I've already landed two hits on the boar. There is no way I can fail now. I mean, I would have to stand still for like, five minutes, and then maybe I would start feeling pain." Caught up in the moment, FrenchToaster doesn't see the Boar charge again, but still managed to roll out of the Boar's path for the second time.

  15. FrenchToaster explores the plains, stepping on twigs and watches leaves fly by with the wind picking up speed. "Best hurry up and finish this quest, soon this wind will be able to blow the benches over. I really wish I had something to move around faster, like maybe a HORSE? I'm not gonna get a horse though, since those aren't available in this game...." FrenchToaster made their way towards the nearest treeline, even though it was miles away from their original location, at Lyle's smithy in the Town of Beginnings. While FrenchToaster headed over to the trees, they grew very anxious, wanting to get to the trees before any overpowering mobs spawned nearby. Out of nowhere, FrenchToaster feels a strong jab to their right side, like if they were just hit by a tree, rolling sideways, in Nebraska(?). They look to their right, slowly climbing to their feet, feeling for any blood to determine the amount of damage caused. There was none, but another Boar Pup had appeared, and was ready to fight with FrenchToaster.

  16. yep, me again. It's always me now..... Basically, with the new loot chart, if you get a piece of equipment or amour, do you, the player who got loot, pick the stats of the equipment, or does someone else, and what are the guidelines for it? Haven't even gotten to the point where I think I'm ready, but info is always nice. Thanks!

  17. FrenchToaster walked for what felt like hours, even though it be mere minutes since they defeated the boar pup. Since they had no skill in agility, it took forever to go from place to place. "Whoever made this game, why didn't you add a way to get around faster on the first few floors, like horses? Horses wouldn't be as useful on the upper floors, since they are a lot smaller, but come on, this first floor is GIGANTIC! I bet if I tried, it would take a month to walk across the entire map of this floor alone!" FrenchToaster, being disappointed in the game with it's lack of transportation, especially horses, continued on for a few more minutes, before arguing with the air again. "Could this be any slower? Why are the mob spawn rates so low? I can't see anything out here but grass, and trees that look like ants. If those trees are so far away, why isn't there anything in the space between me and the tree? HMM? No answer? Thanks a lot game." FrenchToaster kicked the ground, unexpectedly hit a rock, and face planted into the ground.

  18. FrenchToaster kept walking away from the defeated boar pup, wishing that they could have been by their side for until they themselves died together. "There are as many players on as usual, I need a pet to keep myself busy, and to keep myself sane at least. Only if I was at the quest for a familiar, then I would never be lonely again..." FrenchToaster moved on, hoping to find a normal, regular bench to pray at, to keep their new found religion alive. "Bench Lord, if you are out there give me a sign. Am I going to have friends, or a pet, in the next week? Bench Lord, I call upon thee, send me a message." Once the words slipped out of their mouth, Another stick flew out of nowhere and popped them right in the head. "Thank you Bench Lord, amen." FrenchToaster gets off their knees, and starts walking towards the unforgiving plains for their second encounter with the weak Boar pups.

  19. So, I'm fighting this boar. It hasn't hit me, yet if it did, i would subtract 3 damage from  my health, due to the quest parameters (second quest), it has 5 health, 3 damage. If it hit it with <Round Accel>, which is 2x1, my damage is 1 or 2 with a dagger at rank 1, (needs to be to use <Round Accel> in the first place), think it's 2, and i got a 10 on the battle dice, which increases damage by 2. How would I put this to figure out my damage output. Did the boar die, is it almost dead, I don't know, thanks for the help!

  20. Hours upon hours went by, with FrenchToaster and the Boar Pup not hitting each other once. I mean, who doesn't hit a mod once in like FIVE hours? Come on, improve your accuracy or something, nobody can wait that long for a 50% chance to get one material. So, FrenchToaster, being as unlucky and tired as they were, decided to spin around with their sword, for one last attempt to kill this boar pup. As they span around with their sword, the boar had charged them, and SMACK went the sword right through the head. Pixels went flying as the battle ended, and FrenchToaster fell to the ground, praying for forgiveness of the Bench Lord. After he prayed, FrenchToaster looted the body of the boar pup, finding one of the three materials needed for the quest they were on. Off they went, in search of their second kill. Next time, they would be more prepared for the fights to come.

  21. During the treaty between the boar pup and FrenchToaster, they saw many things around the Town of Beginnings, including about 300 unique types of benches, a bench museum, a piece of cotton candy shaped like a bench, and many more bench related things. Many people ate when this happens, but FrenchToaster is now realizing the success of making others believe in your faith. The entire day, FrenchToaster tried to convert the little Boar pup to the belief of the bench lord. To explain this in more depth, this is an ultimate being, which cannot be seen in it's true form, so it takes the form of a regular wooden bench. The Boar didn't understand what was going on, but really enjoyed not being stabbed in it's face, so it's day went quite well. It still didn't have any family, since it was abandoned, like, an hour after their birth. It's quite sad really. Anyway, back to the present!

  22. FrenchToaster tries a carefully placed jab towards the boar, and at the same time, the boar charges FrenchToaster for the second time. Halfway through the jab, FrenchToaster trips over a rock and hits the ground face first. With this position change, the boar runs right past FrenchToaster's body, thinking they have already won the battle. FrenchToaster climbs to their feet, and pants from their over-exertion. "Why did it have to be my face! It's always my face!" The boar, still hearing the frantic beating of a coward's heart, spins around, ready to charge again. The boar cub snarled multiple times, digging their hooves into the ground beneath, and FrenchToaster readied their stance, placing their daggers by their sides, and moving their feet in such a way to leap towards their enemy, while both were waiting for their opponent to make the first move. They stood their for hours, agreed to sleep off the day, and ate a healthy meal before returning to the fight of their lifetimes.
