  1. "As you wish, Domarus sir. And how do you plan to do that? Also, I believe it would benefit you to give me my own identity among the regular players? After all, I wouldn't imagine you want a 'beta tester' to be affiliated with you." She laughed, joking about how all the other players believed her to be a beater. She did believe that it would benefit Domarus to keep his influence with her a secret, though. If players learned that he had the allegiance of a 'beater', they would begin to fear him and avoid him. Who would be able to gain the power of a beater like Sakoda? They would wonder. "Yes, you'll need to give me the illusion that I am my own player. One who stands out from you, and from the other prisoners of this world." She smirked before continuing, "But I'll leave those details to you, my lord."

  2. She frowned and tried to pull the ring off, if anything to show a sign of resistance.  of course, it didn't come off. Looking up to domarus she smirked "you have my attention, sir. What are your orders?" She would play along now. Domarus showed that he planned to dominate, and so she would obey until he showed weakness. Then she would start resisting again until domarus puts her in her place. She didn't intend to make this easy for her new master, but once he has her changed, she would stay loyal.

  3. With him pressing down on her throat, she could only nod in response as she feared that any attempt to speak would cause her to choke. Granted, she didn't know if she would or not, but she didn't want to risk it. Domarus wanted her to serve him? Fine, but he would need to assert it onto her. Some of the other players may willingly let him manipulate their ideals, but not her. Were she not currently undergoing her identity crisis of sorts, she would normally either willingly submit or try to refuse him. With recent events however, she had become more arrogant and cocky. This resulted in Sakoda gaining the mindset of 'If he so badly wants me, then he'll have to show it!' Clearly she didn't know how easily Domarus could 'show it' to her, otherwise she may have selected a different train of thought.

  4. Sakoda growled in anger and glared up at him, but did not react. She was somewhat stunned from Domarus' sudden action, and was still recovering from her collision.Time passed, but she finally bowed her head in acceptance. "Fine, I'll submit to you.. But only if you treat me like the servant you have placed me as. If you are so high and mighty, than show it to me. Show me how submissive I must be to you. If I am not your servant, then I have no reason not to rise against you, correct?" She paused in her submission, smirking and stifling a laugh. "After all, I've shown myself to be.. annoying, as you would put it. Without a leash on me, how would you ever keep me under your thumb?" She asked, taunting Domarus' authority. Yes, for now she would submit, and she would serve him. If she were not treated as such though, she would seize the moment and retaliate, showing Domarus that he did not control her as much as he would like to believe. Until he had remade her into his perfect phoenix, she would need to be kept under control.

  5. She practically laughed at him. "I would be more useful outside of this room than inside. What would you have me do, locked up in here? Be your maid? As if! We both know that you have no use for me in here." She was acting like a bratty teenager, arguing with her parents. Unless Domarus could show his superiority and control over her, he would need a way that would force her to submit, assuming even that would have an effect on her. A part of Sakoda was enjoying this confrontation, and wanted to push Domarus to the point that he didn't want to reach. The fire in her rose, heating her emotions and making her more excited. Domarus has burnt her down, now he needed to control the flames that would reignite his little phoenix of a student, otherwise she could and would grow out of his control.

  6. She grins, accepting the challenge with eager. "very well then, I will. I will prove to you that I am strong, and you will accept me as your equal in the matter! Name your battleground, whether it be with swords or words, it matters not to me. I will overcome your power with my own." She didn't look away from his gaze. She remained seated, glaring back at him with fiery intensity and determination. For now, she showed no fear of Domarus, but she didn't have the insanity from her fight with Keras. This was something else, some mixture of her personas. This would appear to only solidify the impossibility of her having Multi-personality disorder, on top of the system having cured it when she entered the game. Personalities wouldn't mix like this normally. No, this was something else entirely. No disorder, but more likely a form of coping mechanism that she had unintentionally developed, possibly earlier in her life, with it just now surfacing.

  7. She nodded and glanced over to Keras before quickly returning her attention to Domarus. Part of her wondered what Keras gained from all of this, or if she just did it to be with him. "And what if you get killed off? Personally, I'm not one to risk finding out whether or not one really is killed when they die in here. Maybe I dont want to risk myself to further your own desires? Maybe I don't want to do as you tell me!!" Her eyes appeared to flash red, and Domarus could easily tell that her chatoic nature was starting to come out again, unless he could find a way to restrain it. It would certainly be easier to control Sakoda without the intervention of her inner chaos, as she seemed to become a completely different person. It was as if two people inhabited one body or something. Perhaps Sakoda had multi-personality disorder, and was never diagnosed? Or another possible option was that with her lack of friendly contact, her mind had developed another person for her to interact with? Whatever the reasoning, Domarus would benefit from figuring out how her two halves interact, and how he can manipulate either of them.. or combine them into one.

  8. As she listened to him recall his tales of MMO conquest, she began to frown. So he wanted to take over SAO too? "I assume your goals are the same here then? If thats the case, what do you have planned for me, a fresh player? You would certainly be better off taking influence of stronger players... Unless..." Her eyes widened as she started to think of several possible reasons for Domarus putting so much effort into her, each one more diabolical than the last. She looked up again at Domarus as she began to see him for the man that he truly was. If she didn't figure out some way to worm her way out of this, she would become a puppet. Of this, she was sure. Domarus wouldn't allow anyone to leave his sights if he thought they would expose his true intentions, and Sakoda knew she was no different. But even after all of this, one thing still bugged her. Why her? What was so interesting about her that prompted Domarus' attention?

  9. Sakoda nodded as she silently listened to Domarus tell his story. Hearing what he had to say, a lot of it made sense to who he was as a person. However, one thing bugged her, and she needed to ask. "What about your mother? What is... or was... she like?" She had noticed that Domarus avoided talking about her, and wondered if there was reasoning behind it. Was there some dark secret about her that he wished to keep that was, or was he simply holding off on those details? Sakoda would get the answers she wanted, even if Domarus did not want to share them with her. And as she thought about this, more ideas began to sprout in her mind. What if she became good enough to manipulate Domarus himself? Get him to do things that she wanted? It would be tricky and it would take time, but Sakoda was convinced that with Domarus' own training, she could gain the upper hand on him.

  10. Sakoda hesitated for a second before accepting the chair and sitting. Looking to Domarus, it took her a while to register his question. "O-oh, I uhh.. I never really thought about it, to be honest.." Although now that the topic was brought up, she was a bit curious about Domarus' history. Part of her didn't want to know, but curiousity won out. "If you wish to share it, I won't argue with you sir." She replied, sitting back quietly to listen to him, whether or not he decided to tell her or if he chose to ignore sharing it. Interestingly enough, ever since her little personality experience, she hadn't even been paying much attention to Keres. She still could tell that she had feelings for the girl, but they weren't as obvious anymore as they were. Perhaps she had started to gain some self-control?

  11. Sakoda bowed her head to him, finally accepting submission. "Yessir, I'll listen." She had finally realized that Domarus was now in control of her, and if she chose to resist that control, he would destroy her life. Either by killing her, or other means that scared her to even think about. This was her destiny now; to be Domarus' apprentice and to carry out his will. If she desired to show disloyalty, she would be punished. No, she knew now that she had to accept this outcome, as the other choices were detrimental to her well-being. Although she had low self-esteem, she still valued her own life and wanted to continue to live. It's why she was still trapped inside of this game, instead of removing herself from it. She wanted freedom, she wanted to survive. She was willing to subject herself to subjugation if it meant she could live longer.

  12. Sakoda recoiled, looking away and silencing herself, finally listening to Domarus. It would appear that he was beginning to make progress with her, although time would tell if that were the case or not. Right now, Sakoda appeared to prefer to resist and struggle against Domarus' work with her.  She did appear to be more angry and aggressive than when they first met, and her resistance was more than likely a result of her attitude shift. After a moment's silence, Sakoda finally muttered. "I'm kinda hungry..." She hadn't eaten for a while, almost 24 hours or so, although she doubted Domarus would let her eat with her recent arrogance and attitude. It wouldn't hurt to say something though, maybe she would get lucky and get an actual meal instead of bread and inn food.

  13. She folded her arms "I don't think I want to OBEY anything!" Her train of thought got derailed, as normal, as she remembered she had requested an item to be made for her. She decided not to mention it though, as now didn't seen to be the right time to do so..  "You say you don't want a servant, yet you insist I obey you and do as you tell me. Sounds pretty servant-like to me, and anyone else you would ask!" Her confidence began to grow into arrogance, as she felt like she could stand against Domarus. At least verbally. Mentally and physically, she was far outmatched, but that wouldn't stop her from trying.

  14. She folded her arms. "You expect me to serve you, and yet you tell me to not be a servant." She stood up and walked to him. "Sounds rather Hippocratic to me.." Sakoda folded her arms. At first she was willing to do as Domarus said, but now that he actually stated his intentions... She didn't feel so eager anymore, Something about this made her feel uneasy. With this unease though, came doubt. She could trust Domarus, right? He saved her life after all, and he helped her overcome her inner hatred. If she wanted to become stronger, what better way to start than by questioning those who wished to use her? If Domarus wanted to use her, he would have to prove to her that his ideals were what she should follow!

  15. Sakoda wasn't expecting this kind of response from Domarus. This caused her to finally look up at him. "How will I do that? How will I prove myself?" As she spoke, something nagged at her, telling her that she shouldn't be acting like this, like a servant (although she did love Keres' maid outfit~). She was better than this! A single moment of weakness, and a side of her that nobody knew existed, were nothing that should be removing her pride! So why now was she kneeling before this mans feet like a dog waiting for scraps?! The more these thoughts tugged at her, the more furious she got with herself, and Domarus with his trained mind could see this fury building in her, through her eyes. Something inside of Sakoda was trying to come out, and if Domarus could pull this off, he could bring Sakoda to an all new greatness. A part of her that combined the carefree and fun Sakoda that he met, and the battle ready and bloodthirsty Sakoda that appeared to them on Floor 9. Someone who he could control without making a servant of. He could raise her as his phoenix, burning the past Sakoda and creating a new one from her ashes.

(OOC: So for the record, we are up to three different personalities for Sakoda lol. Her carefree and cheerful one (currently broken), her psychopathic and destructive one (from floor 9), and her rebirth one (Domarus' goal))

  16. Keeping her head bowed in shame, she answered "Yes sir, I wish to be strong." She avoided eye contact with either Domarus or Keres, feeling too humiliated at her pathetic self-control from the other day. She knew her only hope was for Domarus to shape her into something great, but as of now she only felt weakness and fear. Fear that she would lose control again, and end up getting herself killed because of it. It was as if she had lost all faith in herself. As she stood there, words of doubt echo'd in her mind, questioning if Domarus was right. Perhaps she really was a stepping stone. Maybe she did deserve death. All of these words came from her inner darkness: her corruption that had taken control on floor 9. The side of her that wanted pain and agony, the side that wanted her to suffer, and to make the world suffer in turn. This was the side of Sakoda that Domarus needed to deal with.

  17. Sakoda entered the shop, bowing before Domarus. "Hello sir. I'm here, as you've requested." She kept her head bowed as she spoke. The events on Floor 9 had humiliated her, although they were blurry to her. Most of what she knew was what Domarus told her about what happened, but even with her limited memory of her insane breakdown, she had lowered herself to the status of a servant. After all, she was no more than one right now. Domarus had taught her that much, at least. Although she was sure that he didn't want her to act as such, she believed it was her only use as of now. The cheerful and bubbly girl had become dormant, replaced by a quiet and obedient follower. She would even do what Keres told her, with how broken she had become. Regardless, this was who she was now, until Domarus remade her in his image.

  18. For a while, she stared at the ground in amazement. Now, she had a choice, a chance. Yes, she would become strong. She refused to be stepped on any longer. Looking up, she answered Domarus "I will become strong. I am not a stone to be walked upon. Not anymore." Finally, she had regained control of herself, but now she was changed. Domarus had her in his hand, and whether she knew it or not, he controlled her. He could make her be any way he wanted, and she would listen because she believed it would make her more than she was. He let her live, and to her that meant he wanted her to become like him. With that logic in mind, he would tell her how to become strong. She would willingly follow him, no matter what he did to her now. She was broken, and he would fix her.

  19. "Why am I here.. what is my purpose?" She looked up weakly, feeling drained of all energy. Domarus could kill her just by slapping her, should he want to. Nothing she did would stop him, and she was completely at his mercy. There was no escape, no freedom. She lowered her head, accepting her fate. "Kill me, if you desire it so. I cannot fight you, and I cannot prevent you from having your way with me." She gulped at her last comment, wondering if rape was possible in this virtual hell. Not that it mattered anyways, she was weak and worthless now. Part of her hopped to have her mind broken, and wanted to just live the rest of her life as a slave obeying orders. It would spare her the agony of further humiliation. She wouldn't care at that point, anyways. The other part of her wanted death to release her. Somewhere, deep in her mind, a small part wanted answers. She wanted to know what good she was, and what she could do to understand her true purpose.

  20. Her eyes slowly opened "I.... I dont know..." She had honestly never even considered ending her life, she had always kept herself occupied someway or another. Thinking about it now, she had no reason not to do that exact thing. Of course, it didn't matter now as she was at the mercy of Domarus. Perhaps if he so decided, he could give her something worth living for, or perhaps he would just end her existence here and now. After all, her health had reached the red. It was only a matter of time before it dropped to 0, and she would stop existing. She didn't want to die though. It was strange, but for some reason she had no desire to give up like this. She looked at Domarus in the eyes, wondering if he even cared what she wanted. Or maybe what he wanted was the best? What if killing her would be for the better? Yes, perhaps she was thinking selfishly all along. Maybe it would be better for her to be killed here...

  21. She whimpered and cried, wanting the pain to stop. Not just here, in the duel, but in the real world where nobody payed her any attention. Where she was alone, and only had herself for company. Part of her wanted to beg for death, the other part wanted to beg for mercy, and right now she didn't have any idea which side was winning. All she could do is moan in agony as he slammed her over and over. She watched as her health bar slowly went from green, to yellow, and darker. She would die here because she couldn't keep control of herself, and the world didn't need a psychopath running around. Domarus would be her reaper, claiming her life as a trophy, and there was nothing she could do to stop him. She closed her eyes and softly cried, wanting it to be over quicker than Domarus would allow.

  22. Sakoda gasped as the air was knocked out of her. She fell to her knees, trying to regain her breath as her eyes shook in a wild panic. In one swift strike, she realized that she was far outmatched. Her hand shook as she opened her menu, trying to surrender the duel. There was no point in fighting a match that she was clearly outmatched in. Her vision flickered as Domarus became the elf and back to himself. Except this time, there wasn't anyone to keep her from suffering at his hand. Had she really been so scarred from that quest? Her panic grew as she tried to navigate the menus, still short of breath and unable to move quickly. Her body, it was so heavy, even moving her arm was a trial of its own. She wanted to cough up blood, it felt as if her throat was clogged. There was nothing she could do though. She wouldn't be able to surrender before Domarus struck her again. The fear in her grew as she looked up at him. In one fell swoop, she had been reduced from an insane battle-hungry fighter to a whimpering child.

  23. She growled in frustration but accepted the duel request. She would have her pleasure, even if she had to fight through her mentor. Of course, she didn't bother paying attention to details about the duel. All that mattered to her was blood and violence, and the most delicious blood would be that of Domarus. She would show him the power of her insanity through combat. She readied her spear, giggling as she kept her eyes on her new foe. "Once I get through you, I'll finish my fun with my lovely Keres! Won't that be wonderful, Keres sweety? We'll have so much fun again!" Sakoda shouted, before her giggles became insane laughter. Nothing would stop her, as far as she knew, not even a man with twenty levels above her. As was obvious, her sense of logic seemed to have stopped existing for a little bit. She would get what she wanted, no matter what.

  24. Sakoda screamed, mostly out of frustration than out of pain, as Keres drove the knife into her repeatedly and then driving it into her spine. She reached back behind her and grabbed onto Keres' wrist, forcefully pulling the knife out before turning around and slashing her spear across Keres' chest three times. "You're becoming an annoyance, my lovely little foe. I think I should finish you.." She pulled her spear back, ready to drive it deep into Keres' stomach. This duel was hers, and nothing would stop her. She grinned darkly, gazing into her victims eyes as she started to giggle "Say good night, little girl." Sakoda had no compassion when she was like this, even for the girl she crushed on. If anyone opposed her, she would fight them without restraint. Unless something happened that calmed her down, she would continue on with her murderous and insanity driven rampage.

  25. Sakoda, now blinded by rage and fury, grabbed Keres' wrist and twisted it, driving her spear into her stomach. "I'll give you more, you...beautiful maid" she smiled, giggling and pulling her close and kissing her while twisting the spear around inside her stomach. After a second or two, she shoved Keres away, yanking her spear right out. Her giggling grew louder and started to sound more deranged.

    Spoiler

She rushed forward to Keres, spinning around and driving the butt of her spear into Keres' chest, then spinning around again and sideswiping her legs. Now she was having fun. Pure, uncontrolled, and almost demonic fun. her reasoning, her compassion, everything was replaced by blood-lust and a desire to inflict damage. Even her pain dampeners shut off so she could know how much she was being hurt, so she could inflict the same damage back, and then some. She had essentially become a berserker, driven by battle and insanity.
