Hey guys, I'm Winik. I've never done anything like this site before and I'm excited to join you all. My journal entry hasn't been accepted yet, but when or if it does would anyone care to show me the ropes? I'm a literate paragraph roleplayer and I've run eoleplaya aminos in the past. I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Username: Winik
Real name: Tamaki Oikawa
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 0"Current Stats
SpoilerLevel: 8
HP: 160
EN: 16
About: History/personalitySpoilerTamaki earnestly performs all sorts of work. He works in his mother's grocery store, Oikawa General Store, where he's been employed since he graduated high school. Despite his serious character, he has no gloomy aspects and interacts with anyone in a sincere and polite fashion. While he may get enraged, since he never harbors negative emotions such as jealousy and malice, his attitude is refreshing no matter what kind of situation. According to the other people, "That lack of sarcasm is already a talent". For Tamaki to have never been envied, despite blessed with talent and good grace, was probably due his own good character and the natural airheadness to think of it as a matter of course, without ever being boastful.
He spent all of his time after graduating working in his mother's store. Every waking hour was spent trying to lessen the burden on his mother. His dad had walked out on her when he was still a young boy. The day the application for the beta went live, he applied and fanatically checked his emails for any type of response. When the response came that he wasn't chosen, he was crushed. He threw himself into his work, doing anything he could to take his mind off of the crushing weight of disappointment.
His mother saw the difference in her son, his usually bright and shiny self suddenly becoming gloomy and withdrawn. She took pity on her son, however, and gave him the time off when the game came out to the public market. He was ecstatic and was one of the many who waited for days on end outside of the store. He still couldn't believe his fortune when he was able to get himself a hard copy and rushed home as soon as the purchase was finished. Feverishly, he finished the calibration as quickly as he could. When the servers came online, he said those fateful words in a devout whisper, "Link Start."
That was the day a mother lost her son.
Virtues:SpoilerPolite- Winik is an extremely polite young man. He approaches every encounter with a new individual with his best manners. His bright smile and manners always leaves a good impression with those he encounters.
Honesty- Winik is not a person he is deceitful in his words or actions. He states what's on his mind, not out of malice, instead it's out of the kindness of his heart. He isn't an individual who likes to spread falsities.Modest- Winik is modest, due to his upbringing with his single mother. He has learned since a young age that hard work is better than resting on your laurels and being given everything on a silver platter. He works his hardest, but doesn't allow it to go to his head.
Flaws:SpoilerJealousy- Winik may be modest, but he is still the jealous type. Before you think this means he's jealous of the people around him, you need to understand he's an item junkie. His jealousy stems from other players with better equipment. He isn't jealous of the person, just of their equipment.
Malice- Winik holds dark malice in his heart for those he feels have wronged him. Kayaba is a prime example, trapping Winik in this world while his mom has to toil in the store as he lays in a hospital bed. In his heart, he desires nothing more than to find Kayaba and end him like he has so many other players.
Air-headed- Winik is air-headed and trusting, to an extreme degree. Sometimes he can't see the fallacy that is so blatant to others. While this makes him easy to get along with, it can cause him issues when he finds himself in troubling situations.

Winik strode into the forest, his hand on the hilt of his starting iron sword. It hasn't been long since he joined this death game, but he was growing accustomed. ' Do you know how many people would kill to be in their favorite video games?,' he thought to himself.
He continued along, slowly as to not draw attention to himself. 'I need to find myself a teacher,' he thought. 'All I really know how to do is swing this link of iron around.'
He trekked for what felt like forever before he thought he heard the sound of another player. 'Who else would be out this far?,' he questioned.
He tried his best to stealthily approach the area he heard the noise. Minutes ticked by until he was able to see who he heard. It was a player, dressed plainly with no shoes on. Winik noted curiously that the cursor above his head was orange, unlike all the greens he was used to seeing. A quick look around showed that the player was alone, so Winik stepped forward. That is, until he unceremoniously tripped over the player's belongings.
