  1. I like the idea of combining all three. So who's going to word it out 'cause I'd really like to pick a profession soon. XD

    lol well Kay said i should so i guess ill type up something XD shouldn't take me to long to get an official looking post done

  2. Crim figured something like this would happen. The boar slowly began to turn towards him. He continued to watch until the boar was half way turned. Then he slowly pulled his head back behind the tree and listened. Listening to its snorting breath and the loud steps it took. He could see its shadow on the ground as it started to walk towards the tree.

    From the shadow, he figured the boar would pass to the left side of the tree. So he began to slowly move around the tree to the opposite side. Keep an eye on the shadow while making sure his steps were ever so quiet. When he finally came to the opposite side of the tree, the Boar had move very little and was in striking range of his blade.

    He moved around so he was now directly behind the boar, moving his blade so it was pointing straight down at the boar’s back. He paused for a second before his sword art took over. Coming down quickly and quietly, it hit the boar in the square middle of its back. Cutting a bright red mark into its back before it faded off like every other monster.

    However, this time, an award message popped up. Indicating a drop item had been placed into his inventory. So he stood up and opened up his inventory. Scrolling down, he found what was only labeled as a Basic Bow. This was the first item of its kind he ever heard of. Only assuming this game had blades, he quickly equipped it. His sword disappeared and in its place, a wooden bow with a simple string on it appeared. He pulled back on the string and released it. Nothing happened. This only concluded that he needed to acquire a quiver and arrows now.

    With that he equipped his sword again and went hunting, this time for the quiver and arrows. Coming across another Boar, he took no time in killing it this time. Running directly at it as he performed another quick attack, slicing the Boar in half and watching it fade away, hoping to get the rest of what he needed.

    1-6: nothing

    7-8: clothing (basic)

    9-10: Quiver and arrows (basic)

  3. His gut told him to go with the tree, even though it was more of a risk to get to the tree. It would put him in a better position at attacking the monster. So he began to quietly step towards the tree, being careful not to step on any branches or leafs. He looked to his left as he could see the boar going about its programmed business. So simple and easy to avoid that it almost felt like child’s play. Then he remembered that this was by far the lowest level monster of the game.

    He laughed to himself without making a sound, rounding the tree to take cover. This was indeed a better spot then the brush. The brush had way too many things around it that would make it easier for him to get caught. From here, he could go around either side of the tree with ease. It would all depend if the boar was facing towards him or away from him.

    Quietly pulling out his sword before slowly moving his head out from behind the tree. He could see the boars back side in the small open area of the forest. The sound of the trees wrestling in the wind gave him a slight sound cover as he waited to see if the boar would walk away or turned towards him.

    1: Boar runs away

    2-4: Boar starts to walk away

    5-7: Boar turns towards him

    8-10: Boar stays with its head away from him

  4. How long has it been since he picked up and installed this game? It had been too long and not long enough. This game was so addicting that. His adventures on the first floor had led him down the path that he always followed, a path of hunting and killing monsters on his own. He was used to this, for this was the style he had developed in games prior to this.

    One day, he was hunting threw a dense forest area when he happened across a boar. Normally he would avoid such a monster, for the simplicity of moving on to bigger game. However, something told him to attack this monster. Not just attack, but to silently kill it.

    From this angel, he could see the boar clear as day from between the brush. However, Crim knew he needed a quiet way to sneak up to it. Crawling through the brush would make it too noisy. However the tree to his right was a little too far away for him to make it quietly. He was left with a two options.

    1: Crawl around the bush slowly and sneak up behind the boar.(1-5)

    2: Sneak his way to the tree for a better angel (6-10)

    He would let his gut decide his next move.

  5. I only remember a few occasions in the Anima/manga where they had to repair gear.. even on major MMO's, durability could last for a long time even on shanty gear XD. That being said, who will keep track of the durability or will it be up to the users to "self manage" there gear?

    I think the option of Durability should be left up to the person RPing if they feel like they are able to manage it themselves and track it.

    I also think that Durability of an item would be close to repaired. That's assuming they found the Boss Room and waited to gather a party to fight the boss. If they just run in after clearing a floor, then one would assume there durability is mildly used XD

    Just my two cents ^^

  6. Well i was going to ask Shark but hes going to be gone all day. XD I figured with each level, the dice rolls favor that of getting better items as you work your way up to master rank 10. So that way, at rank 10, if you roll a low number, you still make an item and are not subject to losing something as often if you were rank 1.

  7. That might help Edan, i know some people join a craft and find out they hate it later XD

    But I like what is going on here, though the dice thing confuses me a little bit dice roll from 1-12 and 1-11 is success? XD maybe have like dice rolled

    1=Epic fail (Funny posting could work with this like lights forest on fire or hair >> <<)

    2-4=fails

    5-7=bad Item (usually normal item)

    8-9=Good Item

    10=Uncommon Item

    11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    And when a player ranks up they can slowly work back the fails? Like the above is rank 1 (insert thing here)

    Rank 2: could be

    1=Epic fail

    2-3=fails

    4-6=bad Item

    7-9=Good Item

    10=Uncommon Item

    11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 3:

    1=Epic fail

    2-3=fails

    4-5=bad Item

    6-8=Good Item

    9-10=Uncommon Item

    11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 4:

    1=Epic fail

    2-3=fails

    3-4=bad Item

    5-8=Good Item

    9-10=Uncommon Item

    11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 5:

    1=Epic fail

    2-3=fails

    3-4=bad Item

    5-7=Good Item

    8-9=Uncommon Item

    10-11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 6:

    1=Epic fail

    2=fails

    3=bad Item

    4-7=Good Item

    8-9=Uncommon Item

    10-11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 7:

    1=Epic fail

    2-3=bad Item

    4-7=Good Item

    8-9=Uncommon Item

    10-11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 8:

    1=Epic fail

    2=bad Item

    3-6=Good Item

    7-9=Uncommon Item

    10-11=Rare Item

    12= Perfect Item

    Rank 9:

    1=Epic fail

    2=bad Item

    3-6=Good Item

    7-8=Uncommon Item

    9-10=Rare Item

    11-12= Perfect Item

    Rank 10:(Master Rank) No longer can make bad items but still has a chance to epic fail..

    1=Epic fail

    2-5=Good Item

    6-7=Uncommon Item

    8-10=Rare Item

    11-12= Perfect Item

    I got bored and decided to do the whole rank thing XD felt it would be easier to show how the steps would increase the better items.

  8. well, i think the nature of whats actually happening in the RP would naturally result in said descriptive words in today's culture XD. However, we need to keep a PG-13 thing about the forums because not everyone is of the "age" where there parents would like to see F-bombs all over the place...

    PG-13 now days in the film industry have at most a hand full of cursing. In a forum sense, maybe 1-3 per post.

    However, some of us can't hold back so maybe create an adult version of the floors for those of age? If not, then just have people use a censor like F*** and let people fill in there own blanks :P

  9. Here is where you can check to see if your character has been approved/Disapproved. Since we know that members do not get messages when there post has been edited, this will allow for easy tracking of approvals :D

    Currently approved.

    «Nevina» The merchant of Aincrad.

    «Kay» Blacksmith of the True!

    «Sorrow»

    «Crim» The Shadow Warrior

    «Sieg» The Faithless

    «Namine» The Crimson Dragon

    «Lore» The flying gallant (needs rest of character sheet but for now, is approved)

    «Tokio»

    »Demyx

    <> End's Beginning

  10. The only problem with Kay's idea is that it requires a lot of GM's to do that (in the end atleast). I have seen these idea's before and they always fall through because GM's are busy with other projects/ideas/Real Life. Load to much on GM's and they wont be able to post themselves.

    Dont get me wrong, i love the idea but i can see it getting abused and after some time, neglected.

    I think the best course of action is to stick with level=rank

  11. Kind of sort of, you dont start out with the monster pet to begin with. Pretty much have to earn the skill by finding a monster that will like you and want to be your companion. Think of it like going to a pet store and having to pick out a pet. When you find the pet you really attached to and one that seems to be attached to you, you just know.

  12. I am GM Crim and i approve of this idea :D

    So now thats done and i have done some more reading into the beast tamer Skill. I found that this is one of the more hard skills to learn. Almost like a unique skill but not as rare per say. So here is a general idea of how to obtain this skill.

    ~It is believed that there are monsters out there that grow an attraction to a certain user. Based on this connection, the player will have to make a choice to either kill it or give it food as a means of showing friendship. Once the food is given, the monster will follow the player and become its familiar. However, kill to much of a type of monster and it is believed that you will lose any chance of gaining a companion.

    Some simple guidelines for this skill

    ~Tamers can only tame one monster at a time.

    ~Not everyone can be tamers and that only a small percent of players can truly be a tamer.

    ~Tamers can develop a means of communicating with there companion and after many levels gained with this companion, can understand its speak. However, this does not mean you can out right understand its language. A simple Hello can be taken as FOOD!.

    ~As the tamer gains level and understanding with its companion that soon the companion will be able to talk to other hostile monsters.

  13. The game states that there is almost an almost endless number of skills so i would assume that there were weapon skills that were not discovered or were not mentioned. Probably end game weapons and other hidden weapon skills like Dual Blades

    So whos to say we can't have some fun and make up our own weapon skills. They have Martial Arts skill, but whos to say if you master that one, you can unlock a unique skill like <> XD

  14. So are we good on this one? I think we have it as.

    If in Safe Zone(Defined as a Town/City/Inn/Player House/Guild HQ)

    ~Player will remain alive but will gain no bonuses for lack in level.

    ~Player is to write up a general summery of what they did during that "Down Time"

    If in Hostile Zone (Defined as a Field/Dungeon)

    ~Player is given 2 weeks to a month before they are dead

    ~Player must be out of all hostile zones to be protected by the safe zone

    ~Player may survive longer if he/she has someone willingly guarding their character

  15. Well, we'll see. Also here is the outline again so people dont have to switch between pages to see it.

    Guild Making Rules

    Guild Start up requirements:

    Minimum level of 5

    Minimum player count of 4 to start up.

    Col amount:

    Then once approved, we could format a guild main page to be:

    Guild Name:

    Leader:

    Type of guild: (PK/Front line/merchant or all around)

    Guild Description: (Describe your guild, your plans and what it means to you as the player)

    HQ: (when bought)
