She sighed a small bit and ran a hand through her long blonde hair. It was more difficult than she expected to be finding and searching for materials. Hmmm, where or where do I get a material, this is pretty tough to do. She sighed again.

Tressa looked around and leaned down, moving some rocks and moving some grass. She looked around curiously on the ground, and almost thought she found something... but it turned out to be nothing.

Tressa sighed a bit and stood up. "I'm sorry you guys, it seems that I'm running dry on the materials department." She shrugged a bit and sighed.

Tressa ran to keep up with her teammates, while doing so she was scouring the ground. She was hoping to find something that. "You guys find anything? My finds have been pretty lackluster so far, so I'm hoping that you guys are doing good?" She smiled and looked at the two. I believe they can do it, and I know I can, I just need to get a little bit of help. But I know I can! Just need to look harder.... Hm.... She sighed a moment and started to look

She looked at the others and sighed a moment. She wasn't going to let herself get discouraged, but it was starting to grate at her nerves that she couldn't find these materials, which wasn't that good for.

  3. Tressa was hoping that this man was going to help her. She didn't really know what she was doing, or who this guy was. She gave herself a quick moment of contemplation, knowing that she was throwing herself into a potentially dangerous situation. She shrugged a bit and decided to head forward anyways, there was no use in sitting around and feeling scared all the time.

She saw there was a message back to her about the quest and she smiled happily, opening it and reading the message, and giggled a bit when he said something about his green hair. She closed the window and set off, adjusting her armor.

She looked around and saw the player's name on the message, and then looked up. There were quite a few people on this floor, so it was a little difficult to pick out the colors in the masses. She hummed to herself and continued to look, and luckily she finally saw the color of hair she was looking for.

"Hey!" She said and waved excitedly. She was super pumped to start her first ever quest, so she ran up to him quickly and smiled brightly.

  4. "Another day another- wait what was I going to do today?..... Oh yeah! Explore a different floor! I think I might go on the fifth floor, never been and I've always loved the sand, and I've heard it's windy there so that would be nice to feel and hear." She smiled gleefully and set out the door, ready to start her day.

She teleported to the fifth floor and immediately regretted it, the heat was more than she expected it to be. "Really... Really? Why! I love the sand and I don't want to hate it now." She sighed a bit and kicked some sand, watching it drift off into the distance, carried by the sand.

Tressa sighed softly and sat on the sand for a moment, letting the heat fade over her, she was trying to ignore it, but sand kept getting into her mouth, and the wind was whipping her hair into her face. She groaned and dusted herself off, stepping away from her sitting place and went to the edge of the city, wondering if she wanted to actually leave the city and explore the great unknown AKA the outer limits of the floor.

She shook her head to herself and turned, seeing a quest icon. She lit up and scattered over to the NPC, who was describing the quest called <<The Traveller>>. She smiled and hit accept on it, hoping that it would be a bit easy for her to do. She looked at it, and decided she might need a bit of help with this, and thought that maybe she could get some help, and there was a convinent sign of someone asking if some people need help. "Perfect!" She smiled and quickly wrote a message.

    Dear Player!

Could you possibly help me with this quest called The Traveler? It would be my first quest and I'm not sure exactly what to do for everything.

  5. Tressa was a tad bit overwhelmed, but she forced those feelings out of her head and she looked at everyone. "Well! Sounds like fun! Come along Gwydion, lets show these people how good we are at finding materials." She beams happily at him and looks around, not sure exactly where to start. "Psst.. Hey... I've never actually went material hunting before,,, How exactly does this work?" She was at a loss, she never actually researched and learned how everything worked in terms. I'm positive I ca figure it out! It doesn't seem too difficult at all really, and I know me and my partner can do this. She smiled and started to walk around, realizing she had no idea where to start looking. She looked up with a concerned expression and started to search more. "Hmm, I hope you have good luck with it all!" She said to everyone.

  6. Tressa was rather excited to go out on her first day of exploring this new and strange game. Her ability to hear in this game gave her new found hope and happiness that she would enjoy herself more than she had ever on Earth. Her smile only widened when she had heard the wind for the first time ever, blowing through her blonde locks, making her giddy and her eyes tear up. Then she spoke, and she did not like that at all. Her voice sounded off and foreign to her now working ears.

Tressa decided that today was the day to go out, and so she did. She put on her leather armor and went forth, wanting to see what the game had to offer. While on her adventure into the unknown, a group of players caught her eyes. She turned and was tempted to go up to them, making friends was her specialty. She hesitated for a moment, the visions of her highschool classmates came rushing to her. She shook the memories off and walked forward, a sense of bubblyness and happiness in her stride. "Hi! I know it seems rather strange for someone to insert themselves into a conversation, but you three are the first people I've seen and I would like to say hi! I'm Tressa." She beamed and stuck out her hand.

    History:

    • Growing Up: (Age 1-10)
Tressa grew up in a middle class family. Her parents were well off enough to give her a comfortable, yet she wasn't a spoiled brat. Growing up, her parents really drilled into her mind the sense of learning how to read and write other languages, because she was born deaf, sort of. When she was 6 months old, she got sick and the medicine they used she was allergic to, the nurse had no idea and didn't look at the baby's chart before administering the medicine. So, since she was 6 months old, she was growing up deaf. With her family pushing of being a linguistic deaf girl, she could read and write in basic conversation in Japanese, English, and learning Chinese. She grew up with a developing work ethic, and a positive outlook on life. She experienced very little bullying, the other kids in her class were actually nice to her about the whole deaf thing, but she didn't grow up with many friends, only one.
    • Growing Up: (Age 11 - 15)
Going from Elementary school to Middle School is a very difficult and sudden change. The people you grew up no longer are your friends, and the criteria in middle school becomes a lot different than she had ever experienced. In Middle School is when her father got fired from his job, so they couldn't afford an interpreter for the girl in her classes. She was still able to make it by in class, reading the books over and over again, also her teachers were kind enough to start giving her written notes for her to look over. The one person she called a friend was no longer there, but she didn't let that bother her, at least on the outside. When her first year of Highschool came around, she thought life would be a lot better, and more or less, it stayed the same. Her father was still struggling to get a job, she didn't have an interpreter, and her friends were basically non-existent. All she worried about was school and her father, even though her depression was coming into her life faster than she realized.
    • Growing Up: (Age 16 - 20)
Coming into High School wasn't something she was ready for, and it was made a lot worse when the other kids started to pick on her for her lack of hearing, the torment had finally started. Kids would say mean things behind her back, mock her, and just be horrible to her. The only silver lining of her High School career was the friend she thought she had lost came back into her life, helping her get through some of the worst years of her life. Graduating High School with high grades and a slightly worse outlook on life, she struggled with if she wanted to go to college, but she decided that if her parents were going to get all the money around, which even though their financial situation only improved slimy, they still worked hard enough to push Tressa through College. This is where her interest in games first started, she was going to college with her friend, but they almost never saw one another, so she spent a lot of her time on her phone and computer, chatting with this friend of hers, and playing games with her. After about two years of that, her parents gave her a gift she never expected. Her father got another job and they saved up to get SAO, where her deafness would translate into the game, she could do something and hear again. She, crying in hesteria, hugged her parents and loaded it up when the release date happened, hoping to hear the wind for the first time in her life.

    Personality:

    • Virtue - Kind: She was bullied all her life. The kids would harass her for being deaf, basically treating her like a disabled freak. Translating this into her own personality, she never wants anyone to go through the pain and torment that she went through, so she makes sure that everyone feels loved and wanted around her, no matter who it is or why they are in the situation that they are in.
    • Virtue - Bubbly: More of a recent addition to her personality, joining SAO has started to really help her love life. Being able to hear for the first time in a very, very long time has helped her open up more as a person, and overall be a sweeter person to strangers. This has made her seem a little flirtatious at times, her ability to just come up to people and say hi, but it's how she has started in this game.
    • Virtue - Passionate: Ever since she was a young girl, she was pushed to take solace in what she is doing and what she is learning. This lasted in her personality, and she has never let it go. She kept it while she was learning languages, and she felt it in her school work. Even though she couldn't hear, she did better than almost all the students in her school, she was very invested in what she was doing in school.

    • Flaw - Depressed: Starting early on in Highschool, this part of herself she keeps locked up, knowing that depression isn't something that makes other people happy. So, she keeps this part of herself, to herself, and doesn't let anyone in to this. She portrays this happy girl on the outside, hoping that in turn, the inside of her will become happy and okay with herself, at least that's what she hopes will happen.
    • Flaw - Oblivious: Coming with her lack of hearing, she wasn't always the best at picking up on cues. Even with her little quirk with reading people's body language, she still can't understand what some people are trying to convey to her. Whether it's some look someone is giving her to shut her up, or its a wink/ flirty look. She can't understand some people's personality or the way they act around her sometimes.
    • Flaw - Ambitious: Now, this may seem like a virtue to some people, it isn't for her. She gets passionate in many things that she is doing, but she gets very Ambitious with the select things that she is focusing on, and she can't really let it go before she cant go any further. When her parents were pushing her to read and write other languages, she became increasingly pushy on learning more, until she couldn't hold any more information and would get headaches from studying so much.
