  1. I've been a massive fan of the FPS genre for a long time. When you can get a good FPS that has a good story + good game play + good mechanics = Great FPS.

Though I've found that most FPS have stumbled on one of those three pieces. Though my Overall favorite FPS, though unfortunately had mixed reviews of " MAG " for the PS3. Which I believe was the first FPS game to allow 256 players on 1 server.

That game was epic for awhile, though the company made some mistakes and soon dropped off the face of the planet. Which after awhile caused the game to become less and less fun. Till it became almost unplayable.

  2. Aiden watched her as she began to move closer to the cave. He withdrew his sword ready to fight as he took several deep breathes calming himself. "Alright, I think it will be good practice." He told her as he walked a little to the side, as he walked with her. Letting his senses open up, the sound of faint sounds of creatures echoing around from up ahead. Aiden was ready his resolve ready to lash out at any creature.

  3. Now I don't know how the whole posting system works. But wouldn't it be easier to turn OFF the post count for the Out of Character Section.

I don't know if this is possible. But when I ran my forums a long time ago, i was able to actually turn of the posting count for section sub-sections of forums. I don't if this will help. But just my two cents.

  4. Aiden watched her as he listened to her story as he walked behind her. "Whats in the cave?" He could feel a cold sweat form on his head as he walked with her. A sense of worry as if he didn't know what was going on, was she leading him to his death? Or was she actually going to help him out. Moving with her, his fists clenched as moved on ready to pounce.

  5. I'm just asking if anyone has actually taken or done martial arts before?

Me personally I'm a Orange Belt in Ryukyu Kempo Karate.

    While I'm unranked:

    Muay thai

Kyusho (pressure points, still a novice)

    Traditional Karate

    Jui-jitsu

Kick-boxing *not really martial arts, but inspired*

and lastly IFC (which is a more urban style of UFC) Pretty much a no rules UFC.

  6. Aiden laughed when she agreed to the title making him remember parts of his past. "Thank you for humoring me there." He walked with her as followed her noticing the change in scenery. More and more trees beginning emerge he kept his eyes on her never, having never been there before. The slight smell of pine filled the air as he wondered just how much further they were going.

"So these are your training grounds huh?"

  7. "Well they did say curiosity killed the cat, but I think in your case it's more of a wolf," he told her as he watched her grin. He got up and started walking around to stretch his legs and spoke "Alright I think that would be good. You'd have to show me some of your skills. Lil Sis." Adding the last words to kind of make a slight impact on how they look at one another.

  8. Aiden was able to pick up on some various things in her tone and realized some of his thoughts where true of her. She was just a young girl who happened to play games. She might have some experience in this world but it seemed she had some idea of how to proceed."It seems you know quiet a bit about this." Aiden didn't want to show what his thoughts were, capable of playing ignorance for awhile.

"so where is your favorite hunting spot at? Maybe get some practice in?" wondering just how she would respond or if she would even help him. Aiden felt almost like an older brother to her, but he noticed quiet of few people much younger then himself. How was he going to take anyone seriously or ask for help from kids. He was finding himself in a rather difficult spot not.

  9. Aiden listened to her words, that seemed full of childish cheer. From his view point, he thought she hadn't seen the darkest points in life. Her mentality helped lift him up as he listened to her answer. "So It's easier to kill ten boars, instead of one large creature then?" questioning her on her statement. Feeling a slight gust of wind brush across his face as he looked at her.

"It seems I'm going to have to start killing a lot of low level creatures then." Telling her with a light tone.

  10. Aiden had been out and about his latest journeys being uneventful. How was the man who once ran one of the most powerful companies be kept to just humble offerings. More then once he had been given a handout looking lost, broken and defeated. Aiden had been lost, broken and defeated, his mind simply not wanting to endure the pain of the real world. He had been walking around the starter town for a long time, without having a goal, a ghost trapped unable to escape.

Aiden couldn't kill himself, afraid of death though he thought about it every day as he walked. But it was when he watched a young couple, complete stranger embrace and enjoy life. Even if in a game their connection and show of affection light a spark in Aiden. People still had hope, People were still willing to hang onto life, People weren't giving up. Struggling to move forward if only inches at a time.

This one simple event proved too much for Aiden. How one simple scene of love, chance his whole mentality. Aiden looked to the night sky and simple started to laugh. Tears rolled down his face, and for anyone to see him would think he had lost his mind. Throughout the night, he laughed and wept and in the following day, changed into a new man. Capable of standing on his own, capable of fighting destiny.

Days had passed, followed by weeks and months before Aiden found out what his goal was to be. If he couple help others survive maybe he could change his way of thinking. "I will fight, but by myself I am weak. I will need help." A motto that he started to live for, a few simple words that when he repeated made him strong. He noticed a paper, for a local Guild needing members.

After exchanging some information, he found out they were meeting at a local Tavern. The lights dimmed on the outside easy to pass by. The wooden door proved to be stronger then expected as his hand pushed against it. Music loud and the atmosphere lively. Standing in the entrance for a moment he looked around to see multiple people here, there and everyone. Stepping forward the door closed as he went to find a table that wasn't being used.

He had inquired with the leader and he was to meet him. But he wasn't sure when he would appear. Aiden sat there, dressed in his usual business like attire. Like the office worker at happy hour, waiting to see what events would take place.
