Draterion

                   Draterion watched in enjoyment as his twin brother drunk down a damage potion and Natsu attacked him, but the poor man was only able to inflict two damage over Draterion's guard, where as two hits would have destroyed Natsu. Why would they accept this match, with knowing they would fail undoubtedly? Or did they seriously not believe they would lose the the dragon warlord? Draterion heaved his two-handed great-sword as he charged at Natsu, swing his blade down upon his head.

                   The huge sword called Dragon's Bane left a huge mark on Natsu's cheek and then Draterion turned his eyes to Brayden, trying the best he could to even give Natsu a chance to strike at him one last time before Draterion would kick him out of the battle by getting his health bar into the orange.

                 Draterion followed Natsu out into the out-lands of the second floor, telling Alyss to come one as he sprinted forward. But he was soon to find he would need to use his sword at the very moment, rather than just waiting until the queen. There was an enemy here, but it seemed to be strong enough to drop some sort of loot. That was good, to say the least. It didn't have any guard, damage, accuracy, or evasion upgrades it seemed to be when Natsu had charged up. Well then, more chance for Draterion's success!

                     Draterion watched as Natsu walked off with his scarf, robe and hand wraps. Then he equipped each piece of his dragon armor- Dragon's Bane, Breastplate of the Dragon War Lord, and Gauntlets of the Dragon King. Draterion always felt so much taller in that equipment, he loved it. It's like Draterion was a bag of fun size M and M's or a mini Pepperoni Pizza.

                      Draterion had no idea why he was comparing himself to food, but then he saw that Natsu was a bit of ways ahead of them. Draterion turned to Alyss, stating "come on!", and ran after Natsu.

                  Draterion glanced around at the glorious floor 2. It was by far his favorite floor, the only one in close second was floor 4. Draterion walked slowly through the town. Urbus was a big city,but still only had half as many real player inhabitants as the Town of Beginnings. The NPC's could be almost the same number in both cities, but the player number did not seem to be affected by that. 

                   Draterion had just ate some delicious three cheese chicken penne(kind of like alfredo in a way) and was  ready to go fight this queen that him and Natsu had token this quest to slay it. It was now their duty. but Natsu said he had already done this quest once though.........Soon Draterion saw a female player, maybe in her twenties, in the meeting spot they had decided upon. "And you are Alyss, correct?"

Draterion watched the two scramble on about some things and Draterion sat motionless, staring at the timer ticking down.  Draterion licked his lips as his insanity began to take him over again as he rose his blade, and began to sprint forward before the timer could even get down to zero. There was no rule stating a player couldn't run around wile the timer was ticking, just that you obviously couldn't strike the opponent.

            Draterion looked at the players gathered around him. Natsu, a used-to-be full time solo player, and Brayden, his brother in which Draterion had not remembered before meeting him in this very game. Before Sword Art Online, the last time that met was at five years of age Draterion believed. They were both twins so they would have been both been five. But Draterion could've been wrong. 

            They had already worked out the winners prize, a free item from one of the other side's players shops, or 5 materials, or 500 col. It would most likely be the shop thing for either side though. Draterion shook Natsu's hand, as the system began to count down from 60 and Draterion went to the other side of the field, but not too far from the two as he held out his blade.

                  Draterion watched the arena, walking around, waiting for his brother and some other player. The terms- None. Draterion's brother just wanted a chance to prove himself, and this "Natsu" wanted to cure his boredom with a duel. So be it! That was the conclusion, Draterion versus Brayden and Natsu. Draterion and Brayden hadn't talked to his brother for some time though..... But Draterion would have to prove his strength. Technically Draterion had 24 health while Natsu and Brayden both had 8. Wow. Draterion could safely be sure of winning, but he shouldn't make such predictions before the battle.

              Draterion slowly walked a bit on the basic floor one. Whatever it was that was so attractive on the boar floor he did not know, but there was always something going on here, no matter what the reason for him being on floor was. Draterion also wanted to restart a guild, needed to find new members for his mostly democracy/republican guild. The Town of Beginnings was by far the most populated city in Sword Art Online, so why not start here?

                The city was alive with street lights designed beautifully, shops of all sorts including merchants, blacksmiths, tailors, and restaurants a plenty. The city streets were bustling with players. How would Draterion ever decide wich players could be relied upon as guild mates?

               Draterion wanted his guild to be filled with the perfect squads, just like his old guild- BUMP!

               Draterion had bunked into a player wearing a beautiful dress. "Oh, sorry!" Draterion saw she had knocked her down and held out a hand. then he turned to see his old guild mate, Crozeph. the crow! "Oh, haven't seen you in a while man!"  

I think there could be a good opportunity here. Depending on what kind you have, you can find these and blacksmiths could craft these maybe?

Now Draterion was back inside his cozy little shop on floor 4, ready to craft himself some new armor. He needed some armor with extra accuracy or evasion rates. Draterion viewed the left and  the right of his empty looking shop. Draterion was only 13, but this game could get to anyone. He was going mentally insane! Draterion could feel how his heart was pumping so fast, his breathing too.

I could agree so much that magikarp is better than Gyrados, but there are better pokemon.

Lol magikarp falls from that height because that's about how high it can leap. Like i said it can leap over mountains, but we have no universal definition of a mountains height, so I'm using the UN requirement. Magikarp can jump at least 8200 feet into the air. so it has to fall lol.

So can it leap Mt. Everest? LOL

What about that one, has a high cool down rate, has a backfire effect that is equal to the effect, and also can only be used so many times.

Don't even talk about that thing Magikarp evolves into. Lets face it. The only bad thing about Magikarp is that it evolves into complete garbage. Remember, the B button was invented for a reason.

Lets Look at stats.

Now 80 speed is great, but if Magikarp has swift swim that speed doubles in the rain. 160. That.. is... fast. In fact that is the second fastest speed among pokemon, (Tied with ninjask) and second only to Deoxys speed form.

Its move flail. If you can get Magikarp down to 1 health flail gets a base attack of 200... Focus sash, nuff said.

Magikarp is in the dragon egg group. Meaning you can breed it with some other sweet pokemon and create even more Magikarp.

And.. Magikarp is the only pokemon you can catch in the wild at lvl 100. (Gyrados at 100 can be found in B/W 2, but thats only because it was a Magikarp first.)

Now that we have the game stats lets look at the laws of physics.

As i have mentioned Magikarp can jump over mountains. Now we have no universal definition of what qualifies as a mountain so I'll use the UN requirement that it must be at least 8200 feet. So now, we have Magikarp a 22lb (Mis calculated weight in my previous post.) fish falling from a height of 8200 feet. With air resistance Magikarps terminal velocity would be around 131fps (89.5mph). That means when Magikarp hits you its doing so with enough pressure to crack concrete. Assuming it hit you in the head you'd be in a lot of trouble. BUT, that might not kill you.

What will kill you is the G force. Your head would be experiencing about 400 G. The most any human has survived is 214 by a man named Kenny Brack. So, at the point of impact that 22 lb fish is more like 881lbs, and that fish goes from roughly 131fps, to about 0 in such a short amount of time that almost all of that momentum, and kinetic is transferred directly to you. Basically you are mush.

But that's assuming that the world of pokemon follows our laws of physics, (Which we know by now that it doesn't)

Lets look at the extreme side of things now and pretend their is no air resistance to slow Magikarp down. That means that that same fish would be rocketing towards you at 726fps (495mph). That's about 5.5 times faster. Now it takes about 224 pounds of force to tear through human muscle, and less to rip through skin. And at the point of impact that fish now weighs 2.4 tons. So yeah... Boom

Its a safe assumption that be it at 131 fps, or 726 fps the odds of surving this attack are pretty slim if any.

If it grants you any solace though, you should know that Magikarp probably wouldn't survive the impact either. It would almost certainly be turned into Chum along with you or anything else unfortunate enough to get caught in its path of destruction.

And just for fun...

The secret is that splash is so powerful that every time it is used the entire universe implodes and resets at great speed stopping at a point just after yet just before the move has been used therefor destroying all existence but resetting it as well giving Magikarp the power to both destroy and create life therefore making it GOD!

That is just freaking amazing, but I kinda misunderstood how the fish would be falling from the mountain in the first place..... But I still will like magikarp anyways. I refuse to use any other types than dragon type as soon as I find a dragon in any game, and if anyone could consider gyrados a dragon pokemon, magikarp should be too. After all I own a Pokémon card of it with the move dragon rage(not like hat matters though, many Pokémon have that move)

Draterion pulled out his two handed long sword carefully, entering the room. Ha hand shook constantly staring at "Cupid". Watching it strike Keith, and now almost all the players had attacked, it had now fell upon Draterion to use his turn.....And to do so wisely. Any stupid action could always mean the end of a player in Sword Art Online......

Draterion picked up his sword heavilier. Unlike the other players involved in the battle, Draterion could give a crap about some of these players, even possibly wish the PKers would die to prevent them from killing him. But Draterion couldn't bring himself to thinking like that.

And now they were out of a safe zone, surrounded by at least five recognized PKers. BT Draterion wasn't as weak as he was when he first joined Sword Art Online anymore. He was a high-level son of a censored. At least the way he thought anyway.

Nikki, your logic continues to amaze me even through your hiatus on the website. Why have I never thought of this. I was going to suggest Feebas however, it becomes much more beautiful in the end compared to a wide-gaped serpent that looks like it's ready to inhale a bag of coke in a single inhalation.
