  1. Kuruyama was out in a shaded grove thinking about the encounter with the merchant that he just had, man, I must've come off as rude and I didn't think anything of it. Thinking this he put his hand on his face and mumbled to himself, "I'm such an idiot... if I had just stayed and waited for just a tad bit longer... but surely she had other customers and a backlog of orders to fill..." Entranced in his own thoughts he almost didn't notice the silver-haired girl making her way over to him,

could that be? No, it must be a coincidence.

and at that moment when she said, "Oh, it's you!" He knew that yes it was indeed the girl from the shop. Kuruyama checked the time on his interface and it was only about an hour since he left the shop, had she already finished the orders that she had? As she moved closer he sat up and waved sheepishly. She was the first to speak and it sounded like she was a bit nervous. "Heya, yeah sorry about bolting out of there like that, I, unfortunately, had something come up, and after leaving I didn't realize that I didn't give you any way to contact me." He started to blush a bit from a bit of embarrassment. "Ya know, I don't find it all that odd that you ended up running into me here. I like to come here to just get away from everything for a bit ya know? Of course, you know, if you didn't you wouldn't be standing here in front of me!" He chuckled slightly putting a hand behind his head and smiling softly.

There was just a moment of silence until she spoke once again and opening her inventory, "I, don't... do deliveries like this. At all. But since I already ran into you, here -- have this!" and she took hold of his palm and placed a black metallic ring in the center and she stepped back once finished. "Thank you so very much, I will admit that I planned on coming back tomorrow because I had thought that you might have been swamped with orders. I wanted to give you as much time to complete it as possible, but thank you again." he smiled at her once more and moved to put the ring in his pocket. "Most people don't come to do this sort of thing, which is why, I will admit, I was a bit shocked when I saw you approaching. To be honest, I thought you were hunting me down a because I didn't pay enough." He chuckled lightly.

"Since I didn't get to introduce myself to you then, I shall take this opportunity to do so now. My name is Kuruyama, It is a pleasure to meet someone as cute as you."

You didn't just say that did you?!

After the words left his mouth he knew that it was too late to take them back and she had probably, no, she definitely heard him say that. "I, um... would you, umm...." He couldn't seem to get his thoughts together to form a coherent sentence. He cleared his throat a bit, "Ahem... If you would like, I mean, if you have the time it's not every day that I get to interact with someone else. I totally understand if you have to go back to running your shop, but once again thank you for bringing this to me. It does mean a lot." He then moved to open his interface and within a few moments an interface popped up in front of her,

  2. "That felt off, but let's try it again." Kuruyama quickly notes how much energy he has left, it seems like he has just enough energy to try to hit two of them. He brings his sword back once more attempting to activate the sword art. He feels the system taking over as the skill powers up inside of him and waits for the right moment to release the skill hold. The wolves come in for another attack, when the wolves come into range Kuruyama releases his sword art again and successfully hits one wolf. One of the wolves manages to dodge the attack from underneath and clamps down on Kuruyama's leg, luckily Kuruyama was able to kick it off with relative ease. The third wolf was able to scratch Kuruyama from behind also taking damage from the armor's enhancement. "It's a good thing I got this thing enhanced, if not then I would be in major trouble."

  3. Kuruyama drew his sword from the sheathe on his back and walked toward the wolves, remembering the last time he attempted to take on two at the same time and how badly it ended. However, that was a few levels ago and he didn't have the equipment that he has now. "It's quite funny how a few levels and some new gear makes a person more confident in his abilities." Since he was now level five and had more energy at his disposal he thought it would be as good a time as ever to try out his other sword art. He brought his sword back activating the ability and hopefully the wolves would aggro onto him like last time. Seeing Kuruyama out in the clearing the wolves took notice and started to sprint toward him, all coming from different positions. As the wolves got into range he would activate the sword art connecting the hit with only one wolf. one of the three attacking wolves would miss Kuruyama as a result of him moving as he was using his sword art and one scratched his chest plate causing and the other would grab hold of his arm causing virtually no damage. "Is that really all you got?"

  4. As Kuruyama left Lyle's workshop he was ecstatic as he made his way through the town of beginnings, he also didn't think that he would be going back out to the field anytime soon after the last job that he had. "Man, if it were another gather quest I just don't know what I would have done with myself. On top of it being a kill quest I only need to get three tusks, this is gonna be easy." Hoping that if he stayed positive, he would have better luck with the drops he needed.

It wasn't long at all until he found himself at the gate, "Well, there's no time like the present, plus I get to try out this new equipment that I had commissioned." Kuruyama was bursting with excitement and rushed out into the field to find his first target. "I know the quest says I only need to subdue boar pups, but that's no fun, I need a proper test. Let's see..." Kuruyama scouts the field as he's walking around the edge of the forest. "... This was the last place where I encountered the wolves, surely I should be able to find more." Soon enough Kuruyama heard the cry of the wolves in the area. He followed the sound until he came into a small area and found himself three targets. "Jackpot!"

  5. "Good, glad to hear that you're up for the task," Lyle said with a half chuckle. "as I have said before, I am bogged down with orders and I can't leave my store, however, I am also lacking on materials for some of these orders. It would be a big help to me if you could hunt a few boar pups and bring back some tusks. The tusks have to come from boar pups, as regular boar tusks would be too big for what I need them for. Do you think you manage that?" Kuruyama had a look of relief on his face when Lyle offered a kill quest instead of a search for materials. "You can count on me, sir! I will have those tusks back in no time!" Lyle laughed heartily, "Alright then, what are you waiting for, off you go!" Lyle then went back to his blacksmithing duties still chuckling to himself. Kuruyama seemed to bolt out the door on his way back to the field.

  6. As Kuruyama entered the shop, he took a moment to appreciate the level of detail that went into decorating the place, even though in some spots it looks like a wreck what with all the cluttered items scattered about. He noticed that the worker was currently assisting someone else at the moment and would decide to peruse the store until they were finished conducting business. After the previous customer had finished, he started toward the counter. "Hello, I was wondering if you might be able to identify this item that I had received." He then opened his inventory and selected an unidentified ring and placed it onto the countertop. After placing the item down he promptly sent the merchant the payment for identification. "I will more than likely be out in the field, so if you could shoot me a message when it's ready, I would appreciate that."

  7. Kuruyama had left the shop with more knowledge than he had, he felt empowered. Now his next task was to deliver a package to a local blacksmith in the Town of Beginnings. He searched endlessly for any signs of the blacksmith's shop, and when he asked for directions, he would get the same answer. By midday, he had already walked most of the town. He then looked down an alley and decided to take a look at what might be down there, lo and behold it was the shop he had been searching for, for hours. Kuruyama entered the shop with the package in hand and much to his surprise the shop was bustling with customers. He noticed there was a small queue for patrons to order what they needed. He decided that he was not in much of a hurry so he waited in the queue for his turn to speak with the blacksmith. Within a few moments, he was at the front, "Welcome to Tealeaf's Iron Emporium, how may I assist you this fine day?"

"Hello, I have a package for a mister Lyle Tealeaf, do you know where I could find him?" The muscle clad man in front of Kuruyama had a hearty laugh, "Find him? Well sure I can find him, he's me!" Kuruyama chuckled to himself and placed the package onto the counter, "Very nice to meet you, here is your package from Zakariah."

"Zakariah you say? Hey, if you have some spare time, I could use some help with something, I have been overbooked with orders these past few days and I'm having some trouble keeping up. So what do ya say? You up for some extra work?"

Kuruyama nodded, "Sure thing, what would you like for me to do?"

  8. Kuruyama could barely contain his excitement, he was finally going to learn something else that was very useful to him. He would learn how to craft items. He went behind the counter and followed Zakariah to his workshop. As Kuruyama entered the room, he expected the workshop to look cluttered and full of stuff from all sorts of different types. However, this was not the case as the workshop looked very clean and well kept. "Is something the matter young one?"

"Oh, nothing at all sir, I'm just quite amazed to see the workshop looking very well kept and orderly. No offense."

Zakariah chuckled a moment, "None taken, I get that quite a lot. It's not easy to keep a workshop looking as neat and orderly under normal circumstances. However, I usually find that having a neat and clean workshop is essential to becoming a decent craftsman." Kuruyama nodded in agreement, "For one, it is much easier to find what you're looking for." Zakariah agreed, "I'm glad you are taking an interest in all the particular details, but make sure to pay attention to the most important parts." He then started to craft a potion after taking different materials and putting them together. Finally, a light shone and Zakariah held in his hands a newly crafted potion. "Now it's your turn." Kuruyama then proceeded to follow the steps just as he was shown. Unexpectedly, there was a small puff of smoke and dialogue that simply stated that he had failed to produce a quality product. "That's okay, it was to be expected, no one ever gets it on their first try. You might want to try letting it simmer a bit longer next time." Kuruyama nodded and tried again, this time taking the words of his mentor and applying it to this new attempt. Then a light shone and he held a crafted potion in his hands. "Hey! I did it!."

"Very good, this is the first step of many you will take over your time here. Now I have taught you everything I can, now I have one last favor to ask of you. Could you deliver this package to Lyle Tealeaf, he's a blacksmith here in the Town of Beginnings, I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding him." Kuruyama nods once more, hands the potion to Zakariah, and takes the package and starts to head off, "Thank you for all your assistance and guidance!"

  9. Hoping that with the luck that he is having in finding these materials, he started off back toward the gate leading into the town of beginnings. It was here where he had found his first material, and he was hoping it was here where he would find the last one that he needed to finally complete the quest. It was not long at all before Kuruyama was able to find the last remaining material that he needed. "Now that I have all the materials I need, I can go back and give these to Zakariah." With the final material placed into his inventory, he headed through the gates back into the town of beginnings. The town streets were busier than he was used to, he wondered if there was something going on, maybe some sort of event. Turns out that some of the merchants were having sales on their wares, "Well, that would explain the activity around here." It wasn't long before Kuruyama had once again found Zakariah's shop and entered the building. "Hey, I'm back with the materials you sent me to collect." Then Kuruyama heard Zakariah's raspy voice once again, "Very good, won't you come with me to the back and I will help you craft a healing potion."

  10. Kuruyama had begun to wonder if his luck has finally turned around and maybe he just found the best spot at the time of day for grinding materials. This time around he started poking around in different places such as tall grass, under rocks and boulders, and even at the treetops. He figured that if he could reach it, he would search it. "If I have to overturn each and every rock, climb every tree, and scour each bit of this location for materials, I will." First, he decided to check the tall grass, after what felt like hours of searching, he was unable to find anything worthwhile. Next, he would start climbing the trees and looking for anything he could find. Again, he didn't find anything of substantial worth. He then climbed back down from the tree he was in and started looking in between the rocks, just as he was about to leave the area in search of another location, he saw the shimmer of material that he has come to know and love. "Alright, that's four down, I just need one more!"

  11. Satisfied with himself, he took a few moments to rest. He wondered that, if he was having this much trouble with boars and wolves at level one, then how could he possibly be any decent later on. He then remembered that he was still using the gear that he had gotten at the start of the game, "I really need to upgrade my gear. Then maybe I won't have such a hard time. I wonder if I can get any items that can also increase my energy..." Fearful of being over critical and subject to overthinking the situation, Kuruyama lightly smacked himself on the cheek to realign his thoughts. "Right. Look for more materials, so that I can learn to craft. Stay on topic." He then began to once again scout out the area this time heading away from the remaining boar as to not draw his attention. He found himself back at the hole he found a rabbit in and stuck his hand in again. "If it doesn't work this time, I'm looking elsewhere." Just as he was about to give up, he felt something solid in his hand, hoping it wasn't another rabbit, he pulled it out of the hole and to his amazement he actually found some material!

  12. As much as he loved being in combat, Kuruyama knew he couldn't go on forever, he was expending more energy than he could regenerate. However, he knew that doing this was essential for him to get stronger, and this training was going to make all the difference later on. "No matter what, I can't stop. If I stop for just one day, then all their deaths would be in vain. I cannot let that happen. Not now, not ever!" With this outburst, it felt as if Kuruyama had all the energy from a thousand suns and went in for one last assault. He leapt up into the air and brought his sword down with unholy justice. This time as the blade sliced through the boar, it disintegrated almost immediately. Suddenly, there it was. «Congratulations!» Kuruyama looked up into the sky as pieces of fragmented code surrounded him and fluttered away into the aether. Now with his emotions cleared and his determination refreshed, it was time to go back to searching for those materials he's been looking for.

  13. Kuruyama grinned as he and the boar were both determined to take the other down. Even though this beast had no mind of its own and only followed what it was programmed to do, it felt different from the other boars somehow. It almost felt as if it did have a mind of its own. "This is getting good, don't let me down now, especially since I'm just now starting to have some fun!" Kuruyama went in again for another assault, hoping this time to confuse the boar's aiming algorithm and to hit. He started out as if he were going to activate a sword art, then within a second he started to spin for one revolution and bring his sword down as he finished the attack. As the blade was coming down, Kuruyama felt that satisfying resistance of contact as the blade made its' way through the boar's body. Once the blade hit the ground, Kuruyama was sent flying back yet again by the boar, apparently, it wasn't too happy being struck by a sword.

  14. There was nothing that Kuruyama loved more than being in the midst of combat, where nothing mattered save for the determination to defeat your enemy. It was exhilarating, there was nothing else quite like it. One of Kuruyama's goals was to become a front line combatant to help clear the floors. His public response would be something along the lines of helping beat the game to set everyone free. However, the real reason was pure adrenaline. Kuruyama would never admit that he ran on the blood lust of another kill, but deep down inside he knew that he couldn't avoid it. He then again began to move into combat range with the remaining boar and went to slice at the boar, however, the boar was making a move to attack as well, causing Kuruyama to miss his mark and forcing him to dodge the attack. He was fortunate enough that he was still paying attention enough to be able to dodge the incoming attack.

  15. Removing the sword from his back, Kuruyama would begin his assault on the unsuspecting mobs that were in front of him. Within a few moments, two of the three frenzy boars that were in the area began to aggro him. Hoping to make quick work of this fight he brought his sword back and activated one of his sword arts. "Take this, for your day of reckoning has come!" With the finishing of his battle cry, he would accelerate toward one of the boars successfully skewering it upon impact. He didn't have time to fling the finished foe off of his blade before it disintegrated. He then turned to face the other boar, but he was too slow, he was already rolling around on the ground from the attack of the next boar. He then steadied himself and regained his footing preparing himself for his next attack. "If that's the best you've got, then that's just not enough!"

  16. Upon scouting the area, Kuruyama noticed that there was a small nook a small distance away from the mobs that were roaming the fields. Thinking that this was an opportune spot for something, he decided to investigate closer. The closer he got to the nook, the more he noticed that it looked more like a rabbit hole, regardless, he stuck his hand into the hole and fished around for anything he could grasp. After a few moments of feeling around, Kuruyama had finally grabbed onto something. Quickly pulling his hand out of the hole revealed what he hand in his hand was nothing more than a rabbit. Feeling defeated he placed the rabbit back into the hole and started to walk over to the mobs he was so determined not to aggro. "Guess it's time for me to blow off some steam. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I might as well try a new approach."

  17. He went again, further down the river in search of any usable materials. Every now and again he thought he would see the shimmer of material ready to be collected, however, what he found was only misery and deceit. "I guess other players have already come and gathered all of the materials here already. Oh well, as much of a bummer it is, I'll have to press on." Hoping to have better luck elsewhere, he decided that it might be best, after all, to venture out of the forest and into the clearing ahead. He scouted the area and luckily there seemed to be just a few frenzy boar in the area. Kuruyama would make an effort to not approach too closely to the boar, but they wouldn't pose much of an issue if he were to venture too close to them. His only thoughts were that if he aggroed them all at once, it might be a bit of a problem.

  18. [OOC: Sorry guys for not being active for over a year, however, if anyone is still here and semi-active, I'm here again, hit me up on discord.]

[Note to PST: spoiler tags are a bit broken. I do apologize.]

Kuruyama did his best to rush to where the action was taking place, however, he was a good ways away from the combat to be of any actual use. As usual, Kiro would be fighting and Su would be instructing him on how he should be doing things. She is a level eight after all, so it would make sense for her to teach him and only get involved when needed to avoid a fatality. Before Kiro went in to attack the boar, he was saying something that was difficult to comprehend from the distance between Kiro and himself. However, once the attack hit successfully Kuruyama heard loud and clear Kiro's call. With sword in hand, he pulled the sword back and firmly held it between his two hands. "I'm coming buddy! SWITCH!" With the call of his own, he lunged forward, rapidly accelerating to reach the boar, within a few seconds he felt the blade connect and skewer the monster. When Kuruyama went to fling the boar off of the end of his blade, a message appeared in front of the two. «Congratulations!» You have received: 50 Col, 1 rare [Unidentified] weapon, and 1 uncommon [unidentified] consumable. Kuruyama could hardly contain his excitement, first a treasure chest and now two unknown items one being a rare weapon! After closing his congratulations popup, he would walk over to Kiro and pat him on the back, "Good job on that switch! I'm just glad that I was close enough to be able to do something with it." Kuruyama smiled at Kiro, "It seems to be getting late, at least for me, so I'm going to head back to town. It was fun! Before leaving Kuruyama would open his menu and add both Kiro and Su as a friend. "If you guys ever need anything at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Ever." With a nod, Kuruyama would head back in the direction of the Town of Beginnings.

  19. Totally entranced by just finding a treasure chest, it's almost like nothing else was going on around Kuruyama. His heart pounded hard in his chest, what would he find? Col? A super legendary weapon, most likely not since this was on the first floor. However, he wasn't concerned about the intricacies of where he was, all he knew in his heart was he had found something that he's never found before. He placed his hands on the treasure chest and hesitated a moment before opening it. What if it was a trap? What if someone left this here because they somehow knew that it would be disastrous. Doubt began to cloud Kuruyama's mind and if he didn't act fast he would rather just leave the chest there and move on. Without another thought, Kuruyama pushed on the lid to see if it would open. The chest lid opened and Kuruyama received the following notification: «Congratulations!» You have received 75 Col, (3) T1 materials, (2) rare [unidentified] consumables! He was beyond delighted, he went to turn around to tell everyone what the chest contained and it was then he realised that Kiro was engaging a frenzy boar and Su was talking to some other person that seemed to just randomly appear, he figured it must've been the other person that was interested in the notification Kiro placed on the board. He figured it would be best to save his announcement for later and he headed off to help Kiro with his combat situation.

  20. The next morning, Kuruyama went out to the field with high hopes for today. "If I start out positive then my positivity should rub onto everything else that I do today! Time to go find some materials!" Kuruyama navigated the streets of the town of beginning until he reached the gate leading out of the town. He decided that he might have better luck going to the forest in the morning than late at night. He was curious to see if the system had specific areas that it favored at certain times of the day, and he was going to dedicate his day experimenting with these different locations. Once he reached the forest, he saw the stream that he was at before, "alright, let's see if you're going to give me some materials this time." He reached down into the water and began his search. Unfortunately, he didn't find anything that he was looking for, but he was determined this time and he wasn't going to give up that easily.

  21. Finally able to catch his breath, Kuruyama was relieved to hear that the general vibe was positive and that everyone was doing alright. He was certain that he would've been okay with Kiro as he seems to be that type of person, however, it wasn't Kiro that he was worried about. He wondered if he would have received any scolding from the female member of the party. Once again, he was relieved when no such thing happened. He was glad to know that there were still reasonable people left in Aincrad. "Well, that stinks, maybe we can visit the higher floors once Kiro and I get some gear so that we can potentially acquire some loot from these mobs. Ya know, since we're training and all." Kuruyama said with a chuckle.

He had noticed that by this time, Su was skipping, or only what he could assume to be skipping, around Kiro as he searched for items on the ground. "There are actually quite a few items that assist with the chance of finding materials around this world, and from what I hear you can even obtain a familiar that could help as well, I'm not sure on the specifics, but it's only what I've heard around town." Kuruyama did his best to remain alert to any threat that might be around as he usually was, but this time he had two other people to worry about, not that he could do very much himself only being at level one, but it was the principle of the matter. Suddenly he heard the female call out to him as she moved closer, "Hey, whats up?" He listened to her as she spoke and nodded a few times just to show that he was paying attention. "Su, I'd like to promise you that I won't, however, I cannot make a promise that I cannot keep. I understand that something's bothering you, so what I can promise you is I will do my best to not make rash decisions. I appreciate the support of keeping my injuries healed and such, and I wholeheartedly agree that we must protect Kiro. However, I may only be level one, but if it comes down to it I have to protect both of you. It's my responsibility as the grown-up of the group. That's why after we're finished here, I plan to get new equipment from various shops around town." He smiled warmly back at Su. He knew what she was getting at, as he has had many flashbacks to the memorial stone when he started. He shared the feeling that Su was expressing. He patted her on the head a couple of times hoping to reassure her and went back to scanning the area.

Naturally, Su went back to check on Kiro as he was scrolling through his menu and what looked like to be replying to a message. Kuruyama was about to ask for details when he noticed something glimmering in the not so distant area further in the forest. "Hey guys, I think I found something." He then started to move toward the glimmer not sure if the others were following him or not. However, once he got to the area he noticed that what he spotted was, in fact, a treasure chest. He called back to the others, "Hey, I found a treasure chest! Looks like it's our lucky day!" He said happily and also pointing to the chest on the ground.

  22. Kuruyama felt terrible for leaving the two to go out on their own even though he knew that if things were to get hairy then Su would be there to help. The potential for mobs they were to face wouldn't be too difficult for Su, but might be a handful for Kiro, either way, he made it a priority to get back to them as soon as possible. When he arrived at the inn that he was staying at he was relieved to see that there were no lines formed, "Looks like I got here just in time." Kuruyama then went to speak with the NPC that was in charge of room reservations. Luckily for him, he was able to keep the room he was staying in at least for the moment. Once that business was concluded, Kuruyama had started to return to the gate to rejoin his comrades.

Once Kuruyama had reached the gates, he wasn't exactly surprised that they chose to move on ahead, however, this only made it slightly more difficult for him to find them. It was only then he remembered that before he left they all had started a party together. He then opened up a map of the current location and noticed that Kiro and Su were just out of the gate and slightly into the forest.

Kuruyama would arrive just as Su was finishing her explanation of the combat system and how it worked. He would also add, "You don't have to stress too much about hitting your target, the system will help with that. You just have to make sure you're in range and at least make an attempt to swing your blade." He then looked at Su, "So, I guess the fun has already begun, did anyone get any loot?" He wasn't sure exactly how the loot system would go with there being a level eight in their party so he decided to ask anyway. He then turned to speak to Kiro, "Sorry I'm late, I had something urgent I needed to take care of, there was an issue at the inn where I'm staying and you know how it can be later on."

    @Kiroo @Sunova

  23. Kuruyama entered the shop once again as he had received a notification that the items that he had requested to be made had been finished. He inspected each item and admired the stunning detail that was present, and the fact that he was able to replicate his ideas perfectly into a finished product was truly remarkable. "They said you were the best one for the job, and I'd have to agree with them." Kuruyama opened his inventory and materialized eight crafting materials. He then set the materials on the table and picked up his newly acquired items. "I know that we agreed on seven, but I insist on you taking an extra one, If I had more, I would love to have tipped you even more, maybe I can return the favor in the future." Kuruyama had flicked open his menu and equipped his new items, he thanked the blacksmith once more and left the shop to pursue new adventures.

  24. As Kuruyama listened to Kiro speak, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit, it had certainly been a while since he's seen a child so innocent, doubly so in this world. He then began to reflect on his own past that had been filled with nothing but loss, he remembered a time not so long ago that he would constantly check the memorial stone in the center of the Town of Beginnings and mourn for those that he once knew. He couldn't help but wonder if he'd been there how different things might have been. Suddenly, his trance was broken by Kiro once again speaking about how he wanted to go into the field to train so he could level up with others. At just about the same time he was being lectured by Su for a couple of things, once again about not being so reckless and also about not touching her hair. Kuruyama chuckled a bit, "Sure thing, I'll do my best to not mess with your hair. I guess I've just grown accustomed to it, I'll spare you the nitty-gritty details."

He let out a bit of a sigh, "Yeah I guess you're right Su, you've experienced things worse than most... things that no one should ever have to experience in their lifetime. Also, yes I did hear you about not being reckless, while I can't necessarily give any promises, I can tell you that I'll do my best not to. However, the same goes for you as well, you might be a higher level but that doesn't give you any right to be reckless either." He noticed that the young girl was smiling at him and so he returned the smile. Kuruyama was just about to head toward the gates with them when he had received a notification, "Hey guys I've gotta go take care of something real quick. You don't have to wait up for me if you don't want, however, this should only take a couple of moments." He then opened up his menu and sent them both a friend request, "This is in the event that you do go out into the field and I need to find you. It'll be a lot faster than trying to send a message." He then turned toward the bustling streets of the Town of Beginnings and went about his business trying to make it as quick as he possibly could, he started to walk at a brisk pace.

    @Kiroo @Sunova

  25. Ecstatic with his find, he continued searching around the area that he was in, constantly telling himself that there were more materials around. Hoping that he was right and not just trying to hype himself up, he continually parted the grass and expanded the area. After a few moments of searching, he decided to stand up and stretch his back just a bit, since he didn't feel any pain in this world, it was mostly out of habit. He once more went back to his search, thinking to himself, "If I don't find anything here soon I'll just head back into town for the night and explore around."

It seemed that he would only find one every so often in various locations, he wasn't sure if it was from his own luck or if it was because he was such a low level. He was particularly convinced that it was a combination of the two. Kuruyama went back into the Town of Beginnings for the night and started to look around, sure it was the same sights he's had for the past two years, but it somehow felt different. He felt like he had some sort of purpose, and to think that it was all because of this quest.
