[PP-F1] A Dark, Mysterious Night of Murder

Recommended Posts

It was dark. Too dark for Shizuka's likings and well, her situation of being stuck in a forest didn't help either as all it does is cause panic for Shizuka. Indeed, she was not someone that liked the dark and never has been someone that would willingly go through the dark forest where evilness surely lies. Darkness is the basis of all mystery games and scary games and well, most games that Shizuka had played contained "Easter Eggs" that are found in dark, gloomy places with really, creepy music and she figured that Kayaba would do something that would creep the players out completely as well, he kind of created a virtual cell and he was obviously looking for quite a bit of fun and this was the perfect method of achieving this so called fun. Thinking of such things did indeed allow her mind to concentrate on elsewhere places of her mind where she is not considering the fact that the storm was completely wetting her hair, causing the bright color to dim and blend somewhat with the dark, green plants of the forest. With yet another silent sigh, Shizuka began to pick up the pace as night became deeper and deeper and the storm became wilder and wilder.

However, that was when she heard a voice in front of her. Instinctively, Shizuka ducked down behind two bushes. There Shizuka started to breath silently, hoping that the two people were not able to catch her there. Indeed, somehow, she had a feeling... a gut feeling that whatever was going on there was not something good and she smelled fish.... something that she always smelled when she could tell that something fishy was going on. With one dark red, ambered eye, Shizuka peeked up, curious yet knowing that she was going to witness something unusual when she saw that the shadow's actual form had appeared. One, a handsome man who had an unusual feeling to him while the other, someone that seemed weak... She didn't know what had happened and she didn't know what was going to happen... All she knows was that something was not going to be good and she knew it from her gut. Her gut which was almost never wrong. With a shiver, she settled herself, planted herself tightly against the ground while peeking up at the event and hoping the rain would stop soon. Suddenly, there was thunder, and then, she could see the scene completely and her eyes widened.

Kaluluwa was at Axios' tree, the only landmark he really considered in this forest. There were trees, much like this one. But Axios' tree had a message, it had a feeling. Lately, Kaluluwa had been sticking to the tree. Finding solace in it, comfort by talking to Axios. Or rather to himself. It had begun to rain though, and the darkness didn't really help his current state. It would just put him into a moodier trance. He began to pick himself when he heard the leaves rustling. Aggressively. Instinctively, Kaluluwa unsheathed his knife until he saw the pair of people meant no harm to him.

The rain was beginning to pick up, claps of thunder echoed, the wind howled. Kaluluwa would probably look back on this as one of the most terrifying nights he's spent in his entire life. He crawled backwards, knife still unsheathed, he tried to remain unseen and took cover behind a bush. He won't, he didn't, he did look up at the scene unfolding ahead of him. His eyes, not yet adjusting to the darkness of his surroundings so that things can be seen but the lightning promised a few glances of what was happening to the pair of people.
