Despair had clouded his eyes, like a storm darkens the sky. He hit the ground, hard, bouncing several times before coming to a stop against a nearby rock. The jolt had been enough to open his eyes, however, and with a snarl he did not know he possessed, Brax stood up, stared down the angry animal, and drew his weapon, feeling his reciprocated anger travel down the shaft towards the axe-head like a slow fire burning through his veins. The beast again charged, but he did not move, fire holding him in place. When it came into range, Brax quickly brought the heavy axe down upon it, willing every ounce of strength in his body into the blow. The fire exploded through him, releasing his anger just as the boar itself burst into multi-colored pixels. Slumping against the rock, Brax gave a heavy sigh, feeling the emptiness inside him return, unable to prevent it. After such an experience, a respite was sorely needed. Boar HP 0/4 Defeated!
