[SP-F3] Man vs Minotaur <<Search for the Hoya>> <Complete>

Nobuyuki was standing still in front of the Forest of the Wavering Mist. His sword - Stinger clutched tightly in his hand. "Alright, this is your first solo boss. You're more capable of defeating it. Just don't let your guard down. Focus onto the fight, and don't slack off." Nobuyuki reminded himself, getting ready for what comes next. He took a step forward, and looked upon the temple of the Mino King. The Info broker said something about a valuable pendant stored inside this place. But to get to the pendant, you must be able to get pass a maze, and fight the two field boss that guard the temple. Nobuyuki had already finished the maze, and now standing before the two huge Minotaur, each equipped with an axe. He readied his weapon in hand, and lunged forward with the determination of those who wish to defeat the two Minotaurs.

The two Minotaurs panted heavily, as one approached him. With the giant axe in its grasp, the minotaur make a swing. The speed of the swing was relatively slow, making the attack easy to avoid. Nobuyuki ducked under the swing, and leaped up for an attack. Two consecutive strike tn a V pattern pushed the Minotaur back. The boy stood still after landed back down onto the ground. He looked at the minotaur, ready for a second ground.

The Minotaur swung his axe again in the wide horizontal swing, in which Nobuyuki duck under easily. He tried to strike his sword down in a vertical swing, but the minotaur block the attack easy with the chain wrapped around its hand. With a swift motion Nobuyuki tumbled backward, avoiding any further unnecessary damage. "At lease he can protect himself." Nobuyuki smirked, as he readied his sword for another attack.

The Minotaur let out a heavy puff as its attack pattern suddenly changed. Nobuyuki didn't get a chance to attack, as the beast charged forward and attack him with its hoof. The heavy kick knocked the air out of Nobuyuki's lung, as he was knocked back and slammed against a tree. Fell down onto the forest floor, the boy panted hard, trying to regain his strength.

The mad Minotaur come charged at Nobuyuki with it horns readied to impaled the boy. With his agility, Nobuyuki ducked aside quickly. The Minotaur rammed straight into the tree, and was stunned for a split second. With the opportunity in hand, Nobuyuki was readied to attack, but the attack was blocked by the Minotaur using the chain wrapped around its arm.

Nobuyuki jumped backward as the Minotaur flicked the Stinger off its hand. With the momentum, the young warrior leaped forward and slashed the Minotaur with a downward slash. It roared, as the axe blade came down and hit him in the side. Nobuyuki winced in pain, as he jumped back from the attack.

Nobuyuki saw his chance when the Minotaur raised its axe and prepared to strike down. He dashed forward and thrust his sword into the stomach of the Minotaur. With a quick swipe he rip the sword out and gave the Minotaur another slash onto the same wound. The minotaur roared in pain as it fell onto the ground. Nobuyuki backed away slowly as the minotaur slowly sat up.

Using the Minotaur still trying to balance itself to his advantage, Nobuyuki ran up and swung his blade at the Minotaur once again. The blade connected, slashing against the Minotaur by the rib cage. The Minotaur roared in pain, as he swung its back hand, But Nobuyuki immediately ducked under the swing.

Once the Minotaur over shot, Nobuyuki swung his sword once more, slashing the Minotaur in the back. The Minotaur roared, then shone brightly and burst to million of pixels that slowly fade into thin air. Nobuyuki turned to the other Minotaur, but the monster has back down, giving him full access to the temple. Sheathed his sword back, he entered the temple, bypassing the Minotaur.

"Alright, all I need to do now is to find the Hoya." Nobuyuki told himself, as he entered the room. Gold coins and valuable items such as laying across the room. On the wall there was inscription written upon it. "To whom seek for the treasure, they must find it hidden in the gold. Dare to steal anything, and you will be punished. Hmm... interesting." Nobuyuki thought, as he entered the room and started looking around.

Nobuyuki began to dive into a pile of gold coins and start digging up the gold. Soon, inside the pile of gold he found a silver pendant, standing out from the gold colors of the coins. "Well that was easy." Nobuyuki smirk as he grabbed the treasure and left the place. "Well, all I need to do now is to get out of this place and return to town." Nobuyuki told himself, as he leaved the temple, and entered the maze to return home.

On his way home, Nobuyuki looked around for any kind of material that was available for him to harvest. Unfortunately, the land around the maze is bare, and the materials he found was covered in spider webs, something Nobuyuki wouldn't dare to touch even if he have to go through hell to avoid it. For that, he left the place, and continued on.

Finding some more material again, this time he had traveled to the outer rim of the maze, near the exit. Still, not a single material in sight. Sighed in disappointment, Nobuyuki shook his head, and continued walking. "Maybe I'll have more luck trying to find them on the way back to town." He told himself, as he exited the maze, and continued walking back to town.

Entered the trodden dirt trail, Nobuyuki began his slow pace walking back to town. On his way, he kept his keen eyes open for any material in sight. Sadly however, with the heavy mist of the forest, it's hard to scan for any material. Nonetheless, he still looked out for anything that he could see. It's a nice things to always have some materials in stock.

While on the trodden dirt trail. Nobuyuki kept his eyes keen. Even so, he couldn't see anything further than just a feel step in front of him. The mist is thickening, and although he would love to explore for some more Mats, Nobuyuki wouldn't risk the chance of getting lost inside the mist. He stuck to the dirt road and continued on.

Walking for a few more minutes, Nobuyuki finally got himself out of the mist. That was when he encountered two dark elves that have gotten themselves onto the dirt trail. One equipped with a knife, while the other have a bow, both of them spotted Nobuyuki, and brandished their weapon. Letting out a sigh, Nobuyuki withdrew his own and ready for battle. The dark elf archer shot it first arrow, which Nobuyuki ducked under easily. The one with the dagger lunged forward trying to attack, in which he swiftly retaliate with a swift attack to the abdomen, then another swift consecutive attack to the back in a V pattern. He pushed the injured one back, and switch his focus to the archer.

Without hesitation, Nobuyuki lunged at the Dark Elf Archer with his sword in hand. The elf released another arrow, but Nobuyuki quickly duck under the arrow, and swung his sword downward onto the Elf. The dark elf wasn't fast enough to dodge out of harms way. The slash connected. The other elf lunged forward to attack, but the dagger were just too short for the attack to land. Nobuyuki tumbled away, and stood facing both Elves, sword ready for the counter attack.

Now, with both elves close to each other, Nobuyuki could use the Area of Effect attack. He rushed forward and swung his blade in an uppercut arc. The attack pierce through both of the elves, dealing tons of damage to both of them. Both of them burst into million of pieces of particles that slowly fade in the air. He sheathed his sword, and continued on walking.

Trudging on the road some more, Nobuyuki still haven't manage to find any Materials. The sky is fading dark, and monster tends to get much more aggressive at night. "I suppose I could just skip the material gathering and went home. It's not like I need that much material anyway." Nobuyuki told himself, as he shrugged and went back to town. Today have been a rough day, and he need some rest.

Just as when Nobuyuki was about to gave up and return to town, he found small patch of mushrooms laying next to the trodden dirt road. He remembered the pattern of the shrooms, and that its edible. Without hesitation, he got down onto his knee and gathered up the mushrooms, put it in his inventory. "Finally, found at least one." Nobuyuki sighed in relief, as he walked into town, just as the sun is setting.
