Username: Striving Hope
Real Name: Leanne Avery Evans
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 5'6"

About|History:

Leanne can be an awkward individual, not being used to contact with other people including her own family. She tends to push people away, in a way to keep herself safe, in every form of the word. Leanne is also quite the spitfire, quick to temper and always smarting off to anyone, even if they appear to be stronger than herself. When she finally opens herself up, she is actually quite an emotional person, having been guarded for her entire life, she had a lot of weight slacked onto her shoulders and always had to keep her mouth shut. Despite seeming like a rather put-off person, she is quite loyal and protective of those she gets close to, especially children. A lone wolf is described as someone who prefers to walk alone and doesn't get involved with a pack. However, she can't help but to yearn for a closeness of another, no matter how much she fears letting her mask down to remedy it.

Upon graduating high school, she took off to live on her own and began working at a dinner. Due to being used to being alone, she had been a gamer most of her life growing up and had expanded later in life to MMOs and other various types of computer games. She heard co-workers talking about the rave of a game out called Sword Art Online and how it was a virtual reality scenario. Interested in this new concept of technology, she saved up money with her paychecks and managed to buy it on her way home one late night. When she put the helmet on and connected, she signed up as Striving Hope and began setting everything up. It wasn't until it was too late that she realized just what she was getting herself into...

Virtues:

Loyal
She would never join people that she didn't trust, thus the moment she is offered a place on a team, she's loyal until the end. Nothing can sway her alignment or shake her duty from her. She'd never allow it.

Protective
When growing an attachment to a person, she finds herself unable to help but want to protect them, in many variations of the word. Seeing the person she cares about in pain or in harms way sends her into a tizzy to do anything she can to ensure their well being.

Determined
"Bravery has nothing to do with it. There are some things in life you just have to do."
She shows a strong determination to play her role,  that she's willing to go to any lengths to uphold her duty in the world she's been introduced to.

Flaws:

Impatient

When there needs to be a moment for decision making and planning out, she can't help but to make quick responses at an attempt to hurry along. There are also times where if she's in the lead and it's for something important, she'd grow impatient and possibly even leave people behind.

Reckless
"This place looks heavily guarded."
"Alright, so what's the plan?"
"Simple. We push right through."

It isn't confidence or bravery that persuade her reasoning, but for any mission that she must undertake, she holds it above many things; even her own safety. Part of the reasoning if believing in their own abilities, but mostly she's reckless by nature and may need to be denied of her proclaims depending on the situation.

Aloof
There are times that she can come off as cold or distant, even if not purposefully done. Different subjects or behavior by her team can be what brings this out of her. She can come off as though she doesn't care or is completely uninterested with the scenario she's in.
