[PP-F1] A Meeting Amidst a Sea of Grass [Hunie]

Kranzer regarded her carefully as she talked about not putting him in danger through some reckless action. It was then that he realized he must have been unclear with what he said or she had just misinterpreted what he meant. In truth its likely he just didn't express it well enough. Kranzer meant to comfort her by saying that he was no stranger to the dangers of this world. Dynaon's reckless actions saw to that and any danger that followed her wouldn't be any different than what he's already faced, or so he thought. He thought about explaining what he meant but in truth it wasn't that much trouble. She reassured him that she was an extra safe player which in all honesty would be a welcomed addition should she decide to join them. His expression softened as some inner battle that he couldn't see marred her expression but as his hand started to fall she gripped onto it with what he viewed as desperation. The sudden movement shocked the young man and for a moment he didn't know how to react. She started to speak his name but seemed to hesitate. The fact she almost shortened his name as a form of a nickname was lost on him for the moment. Nicknames were a rather new concept to him after all. Either way he listened as she spoke of the one who stalked her and the cronies he'd send after her.

He didn't realize he'd been holding his breath since she took hold of his hand and when he realized that she still had a firm hold of it his cheeks were discolored with a reddish hue. This person would call out to her without being seen and she swore she wasn't insane. Did he believe everything she had said? In truth he didn't know. He'd just met Hunie and to take all of that in was quite a lot to process. The one thing he did know was that her fear seemed real and that's what it came down to. He fought through his embarrassment and offered her hand a reassuring squeeze. Kranzer didn't say anything at first for he was simply at a loss for words. What could he say to that? Make some bold declaration that he'd protect her? It's what Dynaon would do of course but Kranzer was a realist. She thought this man was a much higher level and was great at stealth. Kranzer didn't reveal that was a path he intended to go towards but if he managed it successfully then perhaps one day if she worked through her fear he could help her track him down. In the end he continued to hold her hand for a moment only to quickly blush again. He'd release her hand unless she kept a grip on his. He didn't want to make her think he'd decided to leave her on her own or anything.

"Well I can't say I would protect you from this man because if he's that strong well... all I can say is what my friend told me. Gain levels. Get stronger and face the threat head on." Kranzer offered her a halfhearted shrug. In truth he felt a little overwhelmed by it all but he tried not to let it show. "Do you know his name? His in game name I mean. If so then perhaps we could find some information on him. Though perhaps for now it'd be safer if I escorted you back to the Town of Beginnings. That's a safe zone and you're more than welcome to join us, or call on me if you find yourself in need. My friend has a hero complex so he'd come along in a heartbeat, and besides we can help you get stronger. So one day you can face this man without the need to fear him."
