But despite everything and it’s hardships Klowbi grew up comfortable. He didn’t have anything to expensive, but frequently received what he wanted. Klowbi was homeschooled, which probably accounts for most his, quirks. Klowbi’s father was immature, and connected well with Klowbi. They spent most of his father’s time off from work watching anime, or power ranger-esque shows. Klowbi became fascinated with being a super hero, so he would take a towel and wrap it around his neck and call himself ‘Papyrus’ (pronounced: Papi-Russ) after his favorite looking font. His mother, disagreed with him being fascinated in heroes, and anime, and all other things that weren’t studying. She explained to him, that she didn’t want him to grow up like she had. With no job, a child of a husband, and the constant struggle to pay bills. Klowbi smiled, and said that he’d grow up to be the best, no matter what it took. Years later, Klowbi’s parent’s marriage fell apart. Tired of living with a child of a husband, she took custody of Klowbi, and moved away. As a teen his only solace was a single weekend every month, where he would be able to visit his father and watch cartoons with him, just like old time. But Klowbi could see how depressed his father had become. The sparkle his eyes once had were gone, and his smile would grow less and less genuine with each visit. At seventeen, Klowbi’s father stated that he didn’t want to see his son anymore, that it was too much heartache for him. That seeing him reminded him of the old days. Upon the last visit, it was just an awkward silence. His mother was right. If he only just sat on his ass and did nothing, he would end up like his father. An empty husk of emotionless flesh, cursed to relive the same day over and over again. Klowbi went and got himself an internship as a Italian restaurant, where he had learned how to clean dishes. Klowbi would always work hard, even when his back aches, or his feet were swollen. He wanted to prove to mother that hard work and determination could have a decent relationship with wishful thinking and play. Klowbi never bought anything with his money. He had a jar in his room, that was stuffed with bills and coins. Well, several jars. About seven, to be exact. Months of hard work and determination had had finally bared fruit in the form of cold, hard cash. Upon watching an anime on a Sunday night, a commercial for a brand new video game aired. It used a new technology that basically downloaded your mind into a video game, and it let you do whatever you wanted. Even had the tagline of ‘do whatever, be whatever.’ If he could be whatever he wanted, then he would be a hero. Klowbi went out, and spent all seven jars of his savings on the Full Dive gear, and a copy of the game. He had also bought an Ice-Cream on his way home, with what change he had. He started up the game called ‘Sword Art Online’, and proceeded to make his account. He had never signed up for an account before, so he had to consult the internet on how to do so. Things like ‘Username’ and ‘Display Name’ were questions that he didn’t know. But things like his birthday and his height he knew very well. He donned the gear, and logged into SAO. Not as Klowbi, the determined hard worker with dreams. But as The Great and Mighty Papyrus, soon to be hero of all. Virtues:Determination! Once Papyrus has an idea, he’ll stick with it. There is little to nothing that will stop him from achieving his goal. Papyrus has a willpower that can knock down and overcome even the toughest of obstacles!Protective: Papyrus likes to make friends, and for those friends he’s willing to do everything to protect them. He’ll take on challenges that he normally would have no hope of overcoming, if it meant saving one life.Encouraging: Everyone has a dream, or a goal. And Papyrus is there to make sure that you get it done! Who cares what it is you do, as long as you love doing it he’ll be there to help you! Every step of the way!Flaws: Melodramatic: Papyrus has quite the flair for the dramatics and the theatre. Papyrus will speak in third person often, and declare himself as a ‘hero’ to all who will listen.Vain: Papyrus loves himself, as he is one of the most perfect creatures on the planet. Everything he does is great, and everything he does is amazing. His determination and hard work only produce the best.Dim: Papyrus isn’t that smart, or bright. But he’s not an idiot. A bit foolish here and there, and a bit blind to things around him.
