History/Personality:
As a child, Ouranos grew up in Canada with his older brother, Luke, his younger sister, Olivia, and their parents. He was a curious and inquisitive child, always asking his teachers and family questions about the most random things. He and his siblings were nearly inseparable. They would always play together and they enjoyed doing all of the same things. They liked the same movies, video games, and books. As they grew older, they slowly drifted apart. Olivia was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 15. It was a shock to the entire family and it crushed the hearts of Ouranos and his brother. Within the same week she had died, Sword Art Online was announced. The brothers needed something to turn to, so they went straight to Virtual Reality. Despite heading into the game together, the pair stopped talking. After the entered, Ouranos and Luke went separate ways because whenever they looked at each other, they were reminded of Olivia. The pain of losing their sister was too much for them to handle.

As he aged, his personality changed greatly. What once was a cheerful and curious young child transformed into a much sadder version of his old self. After his younger sister's unfortunate demise, Ouranos was broken. Around other people, he was often quiet and didn't let most of his ideas surface. For as long as he could remember, he had been shy. In fact, he wouldn't even raise his hand to go to the washroom for the first few years of school. Despite being unhappy and quiet, he was still a fairly kind person

Virtues:
Intelligent: Throughout his school years, Ouranos was always at the top of his class in every subject. You name it. History, Science, Math, Physical Education. He strived to be the best he could and worked hard until the end of each school year. In his opinion, intelligence is one of the key elements to surviving Sword Art Online. That trait is one of the few things he will always be able to rely on in the death game.

Brave: Ouranos won't back down from a fight, even if all of the odds are against him. If it's his fate to die, he'll go down fighting. Death means nothing to him, except that he'll be closer to his sister. Some may consider it foolish, but he doesn't care what they might think. After losing his only sister, he realized that nothing else in the world is important to him, other than the safety of his comrades. It is his motto to protect the ones he loves.

Fairly Honest: Ouranos rarely lies. If he doesn't like someone, he will say it straight to their face. If he does like someone, he'll make that known instead. However, he doesn't tell the truth about his feelings. Never before has he opened up to someone about how he feels. The only person that truly knows is his older brother, Luke, because he shares that feeling of sorrow.

Flaws:
Holds Grudges: Ouranos had never been known to hold grudges until his sister's death. He was aware it wasn't their fault, however he hated the doctors for being unable to save Olivia. Most of all, he despised himself for not sitting by her side until the very end. He will forever wish he had done at least that for her.

Untrusting: He has always been untrusting around people he doesn't know well. It makes sense, in some cases, however it usually takes a long time, even after he's been around them for a while. For most of his life, his family was the only group of people he trusted and loved. During highschool, he opened up a bit more and spoke to more people.

Lonely: Ouranos is alone in Sword Art Online. He and his brother split up and stopped speaking to each other at the beginning and he has always been cautious at making new friends and allies. Unfortunately, this may make the death game quite a challenge for the lad. Friends are a good thing to have in a world like this.
