History: 
    Kaiden grew up in a rather average household with two brothers, younger and older, separated by three years. His eldest brother moved out of the home at an early age because of the abuse he caused to his younger siblings. The parents had no idea what was going on because the youngest brother was too scared to say anything, and the eldest brother threatened to kill the youngest brother and mom and dad if Kaiden ever spoke up. This went on for about three years, between 7-10 for young Kaiden. His elder brother was sent to a home for troubled youths, and Kaiden hadn't heard from him since. 
    After about a decade has passed, Kaiden and his younger brother have undergone heavy therapy, and Kaiden has been taking antidepressants since the incident as a way to cope with the PTSD. Kaiden recently was fired from his job as a hotel manager because the company was going through a financial deficit since the CEO's son took over the position. Not knowing what to do with the immense amounts of time he had in between applying and going to interviews for job openings, Kaiden's younger brother mentioned a game he had really wanted to try. Deciding to give it a try himself, Kaiden bought the game and put it into his NerveGear.

Personality: Kaiden is a very stoic individual, with an overprotective streak when it comes to those he cares about. Kaiden is also a very cautious person, and it is challening to get into his inner circle of people he cares about. Some could perceive Kaiden as one of their most trusted allies, whereas Kaiden could still see them as a possible threat. Kaiden is also a very passionate individual, and will put everything he is worth into something that he perceives as necessary. 

Virtues:
Cautious
Kaiden does not leave things to chance, and does not often trust others as much as they trust him. If at anytime Kaiden feels uncomfortable, he will attempt to find a way to warn any allies he is with. Also, Kaiden prefers to take note of obvious traps, and will resort to arguing and deserting if he perceives something as a trap.
Vigilant
Kaiden does not like putting his friends in harm's way and will sometimes try and do impossible feats by himself so that those he thinks he is protecting needn't do anything dangerous. Kaiden also despises when someone else puts those he cares for in dangerous situations, and even if the person he cares about is perfect for the job he will resent the one who gave them the order. This has led to some awkward situations between Kaiden and his higher-ups.
Doting
When one of Kaidens allies accomplishes something, Kaiden will shower them in praise. From a level up in a craft skill, to participating in the defeat of a floor boss Kaiden believes that at that moment, the ones he cares for shall always be remembered as pioneers, nay legends. He could go on for hours about how wonderful and perfect those he cares about are.

Flaws:
Paranoid
Kaiden is very distrustful of anyone who he considers not a part of his inner circle. This can range from exchanging pleasantries as acquaintances, to outward resentment and repulsion. If Kaiden feels uncomfortable enough, he will vocalize it aloud, in hopes to warn others.
Over-protective
Kaiden has a streak of being far too protective of those he cares for, to a point where even they call him out on it. While it is not that he thinks that they are incapable of doing things themselves (quite the opposite of what he believes actually), he would just rather do it for them. It is born out of a type of admiration for them, but is not always perceived that way.
Over-Zealous
Because Kaiden lives to serve those he cares for to such an extent, he tends to spread himself thin. It is not uncommon at the end of the day to see Kaiden pass out instantly when it is time to rest for the night. Once he awakens however, he is constantly moving until time to rest comes again.
