She didnt particularly dislike it, but the trees and fllowers all over the place seemed to give the place a very fake aura of beauty and peace. Behind every tree, however, could lie a monster just waiting to kill a low level player. Plus, Hakai just wasnt a fan of nature. She couldnt wait until they got to a tech based floor of some sort. Sherolled a pinecone underneath her boots as she waited for her partner in crime to show up. She had already taken the liberty of adressing the crying mother and was only a few feet outside of the cave that they would have to enter. Her partner was someone who Hakai couldnt recall ever having met before, and had gotten in contact with them through a request she had sent out for help grìnding. Luna said to herself as she stepped out of the brilliant shining teleport gate on the second floor, the blue of which matched her hair. The girl was looking for the location of a quest that she had agreed to take with another player, albeit one that she had not met before but someone that was kind enough to help her nonetheless. The bluenette looked at her map and followed the marker that had been placed there by a quest until she neared the entrance of a cave, looking around for the person that was supposed to help her. "Where...is she..." The girl said to herself, partly drawing her rapier in case she had been lured into a trap by the player. She looked around some more to make sure that she wasn't nearby, but found another player waiting. "Are you the one that's supposed to take me on the quest?" she asked the female player, keeping a tight grip on her Rapier. Link to post Share on other sites

She had known someone who had used a rapier, the highest level player she had ever met in all of her time in this game. She wondered if this girl was as strong, although if she wanted to do Let There Be Light with her she probably wasnt all that strong. She sheathed her claws, careful to keep her hands away from them as the other woman seemed to be a bit on edge. "Yeah. I'm Hakai." She said, reaching out a hand to her after her introduction. People seemed to be much more wary lately,, always keeping their hands on their weapons, which in turn made Hakai a lot more wary herself. Link to post Share on other sites

"G-good to meet you Hakai...I'm Luna..." The girl said, suddenly becoming very self conscious and looking to the floor. For reasons unknown to most of the people that she met Luna had an aversion to people seeing her face, she didn't want people to find out something about her that she had fought to keep hidden for a good deal of her life on the other side. "Ok...let's get this Qu-quest done then...right?" she asked as she played with her dress a little to distract herself from the fact that she was with someone that she had only just met. Now however, the girl had transitioned into being very shy, not making eye contact with her and playing with her dress. What a strange young woman. Hakai unsheathed her claws and started to walk into the cave. "We'll have to fight our way through some bats, probably with about forty to fifty health each. If you dont think you can handle that let me take care of them." She mentions, turning her head a bit to talk to the girl as she walked. Link to post Share on other sites

"As...as long as you take the hits..." The petite bluenette said somewhat shakily as she walked further into the cave. The girl couldn't help but think about what may be lurking in the darkness, what could just jump out and ambush the pair. "It'll be...fine..." Judging by the way the girl was speaking she probably couldnt handle a mob of that much health by herself. Hakai would need to make sure that she aggroed the enemies that they met before they attacked. As she had this thought a giant bat flew down out of nowhere. Hakai shrieked and waved her claws around wildly, completely missing the bat thanks to the dark of the cave, and took a claw to the face for her brief freak out moment. "I-it's too dark in here..." The girl said nervously as she drew her rapier fully, making sure that she was at the least ready for a fight when the bats arrived. And arrive they did. One of the bats attacked Hakai under the cover of darkness, Luna hearing the girl shriek as she randomly stabbed at the air with her rapier in the hopes that she would hit her target, but to no avail. Envenom activated (Natural roll of 8) 4x2x5=40 DMG MOB: 8 Hakai recovered quickly and slashed at the giant bat four times in total, her laws entering and exiting the wounds cleanly, which now glowed with an eery greenish light rather than the normal red glow. She easily side stepped the bat now that she was aware of it, before turning to Luna. "It's already dead, dont attack it. We dont want to risk you getting to much hate and being attacked. I have plenty of health and mitigation for this." She explained, not mentioning exactly why the bat was already dead. Luna 0 Posted July 17, 2016 #10 Report Share Posted July 17, 2016 Luna nodded as the other girl told her to hold back, she had seen the damage that Hakai had dealt to the bat and didn't need telling why it was done, with that damage output Luna knew that she was far outclassed in damage and sighed, although she hadn't trained much so it was to be expected. Sheathing her blade, the girl leant on the cave walls and waited for the battle to end and hoped that the bat didn't decide that it wanted to eat her for dinner or something. "J-just be quick please..." she asked the other girl as she watched her energy par refill. "I'm not about to do anything, why do I need to be quick?" She quipped, as the bat flew at her from behind before thudding to the ground just before reaching her and bursting into pixels. "Well, thats the first one done." She commented before turning to the girl and smiling. "Dont worry about anything, youll be perfectly afe as long as you dont aggro the monsters." She explained to comfort the girl. She wasnt sure if the woman was afraid of the dark or just the mobs, but either way Hakai was going to try to help get her comfortable. "Was that...bleed?" She asked Hakai in a more comfortable and confident tone than before, looking the girl in the eye for the first time. "It seems pretty strong, although that might b-be just because I'm pretty weak..." she stated before walking a little closer to her. "No, it wasnt bleed. The reason you dont see any DOT builds out there is because bleed isnt all that great and certainly isnt something that someone can create a build around. I got lucky and got these which have some different enhancements with a stronger but very similar effect." She explained, just as the second back shot out of the darkness, just missing Luna and ending up flying right past her before veering around. "Dont attack it yet, I need to at least get it's attention." She calle dout, now facing the bat rather than Luna. Luna 0 Posted July 17, 2016 #14 Report Share Posted July 17, 2016 As she was asked to hold back Luna sighed slightly, holding her rapier diagonally in a defensive stance as she waited for Hakai to land the first blow and get the attention of the bat, she knew why she was being asked to hang back but she was still annoyed by the fact that she was near useless when it came to quests like this, she needed to train and become stronger. "Are...are those claws what people seem to call demonics?" The bluenette asked as she waited for her chance to attack the bat, her eyes trained on the mob's figure in the darkness. She glanced over at Luna while waiting for the bat to come back around. "Yes. My build wouldnt be possible without them. And please dont go spreading rumors around. There are plenty of people who would want them just to say that they have a demonic. Some people suck like that." She stated before turning back to the fight at hand. "I...I get it...although we still need to kill the bat" she said somewhat shakily as she held her rapier in a defensive position so that she would not be hit as hard by any attacks that were sent her way, the girl not wanting to attack in case she became the bat's target. She knew she couldn't beat it before it had the chance to swing at her, so her only option was to wait for Hakai to get it's attention and then strike as hard as she could. It seemed as though both of them were cursed to never land a blow on the other, as the bat once again missed her so completely that it wasnt even in range for her to strike at it. She frowned before glaring at the bat, wondering why it hahd to play so hard to get. When she finally hit it, if she every hit it, she was going to teach it a lesson for wasting their time. Yes, it was good that neither of them was in danger of being attacked anytime soon it seemed bu she also wanted to be able to strike the best herself, even if her damage wasn't too great it was the only thing she had and she wanted to be of use. But of course, it was better for her to not attack before Hakai had as the girl was quite obviously more suited to taking hits than Luna was. The bluenette sighed as she trained her eyes on the ever moving silhouette of the bat, hoping that when it was her turn to attack she would hit her target. Link to post Share on other sites

Shadow Dance: 4×2×5 MOB: 3 Hakai was done waiting for the bat to come to her. She charged at it as it started to fly towards them again and vicously clawed at it's face four times in rappid succesion, the wounds turning green just like the last bats had. She backed off anf motioned to Luna. "Feel free to take a jab at it. Its already dead, but feel free to finish it off sooner." She said with a smile. The girl had been looking quite annoyed that she wasnt actually doing anything, and Hakai wanted to give her a chance to fight, if only for a short while. Now it was Luna's turn to attack, her chance to be useful. "Ok...don't miss now Luna..." she said to herself as she ran towards the bat, her rapier beginning to glow as she readied a sword art but the skill stopped mid-way through her attack, the girl tripping and missing as she fell to the ground with a thud, letting out a groan that sounded oddly deep for a girl as she got up. "I...I missed..." she said, embarrassed and upset.
