Hakai glanced over at Xion. They had just come through the portal to the seventh floor, and Hakai was still quite curious about who exactly would be joining them. She hoped it would be another damage dealer as she wasnt exactly the best. She looked away and pulled up her HUD as she led the way to the edge of th safezone, looking at her updated stats. The last quest had been enough to push her over to level eighteen. Only seven more levels to go before she was able to wreck with her claws, and only another fifteen points before she would be doing a good amount of damage.

As Xion walked out of the blue glow of the teleport gate on the seventh floor he sighed. "Now to contact her..." he muttered to himself as he navigated his menu, sending a message to the person that would be accompanying them for the quest.

Hey sweetie, could you come to the seventh floor and meet me? I'm doing a quest with someone and I figured that it would be a good opportunity for you to get some SP.

Once the rather...lovy dovy, as one could say message was sent he turned to Hakai once more. "I may as well tell you now that the person I'm inviting to join us is my girlfriend, just in case you end up feeling uncomfortable or something, sorry" he said with a smile before turning to face the teleport gate and waiting for Avilon to arrive.

Avilon hummed as she strolled along contemplating what to do next in her great adventure through the world of Aincrad, although that wasn't the only reason as she was also feeling quite up beat with someone else to fall back onto emotionally. Xion was quite honestly her new anchor within this crazy world, she use to spend the nights at an inn crying herself asleep but for once she was with someone who managed to make her feel warm inside. Unfortunately he seemed to have been out on missions, something she did intend to get back into as she seemed to always lag behind others who were of her level or lower at one point. Bouncing ahead she then stopped and read the message Xion had sent to her as she was ecstatic to have been invited to another quest and this time with her boyfriend. Shortly after them she too would arrive at the seventh floor and  peek about her shield and armor equipped as she was on standby now contemplating where she was suppose to meet him.

Hakai glanced over at Xion as he spoke. She smiled. "Dont worry about it. I make other people uncomfortable all the time when im with my wife. I'm sure I can take it." She said, finishing with a smirk. She glanced around. "Did you tell her where to meet us?" She asked, glancing around the outskirts of the safe zone. "The sooner she gets here the sooner we can start this and get the skill points." She commented. She wasnt in any particular hurry to do this quest, but she was quite excited to get enough skill points to grandmaster her claws... Maybe in celebration she would have a talk with her wife and resolve the problem between them.

Xion smiled as Hakai spoke to him, reassured by the fact that she was in a relationship too and thus could take him and Avilon being a little cuddly and such. "That's good to hear, and I hope your wife is ok..." he said as he tried to be polite before looking around for Avilon. "She's not here yet...I told her to meet us by the teleport gate, hopefully she didn't get too lost..." Xion mumbled to himself as he began to get worried. He was rather protective of Avilon due to the fact that he was a protective person anyway being a tank, and the girl was his love. "I've only ever met one person with a wife before...maybe we could have one of those double dates that people seem to do..."

Avilon now glanced about and read the message once more to make sure, "Seventh floor, it was a quest called case of wurms maybe I can find them there," she continued wandering about aimlessly through the city before accidentally seeing them just on the outskirts of the city as she saw the other girl. She to was rather gorgeous as she now began to nibble her bottom lip feeling a bit envious not really believing she was nearly as beautiful as the new companion as she wandered up slowly till she was now standing in front of them both, her cross like tower shield now acting to hid a blush as she peaked out from behind them. "Umm hello, I didn't realize that Xion had another female friend." Her voice soft spoken as her own mind began to take a less than healthy path down a train of 'what ifs' knowing that was a difficult one to get off as she tried to push those awful thoughts aside beside they had a trust building exercise already where he stayed with her leading her about on ... well a leash awkwardly enough as she was blindfolded to prove he would stay with her.

Hakai smiled at the pink haired woman who had approached. "Oh, I just met him today. We did a quest together, so I suggested that we do another one." She stated to the woman. "Im Hakai, ive seen you at the boss fights." She mentioned, reaching out a hand to the girl with a smile. Judging by her gear she seemed to be another tank. That was good, although she would have preferred another damage dealer. "Just to warn you, this quest has a boss with some moves that go through mitigation. We should be fine, but I thought that I should warn you ."

Xion's eyes widened and a smile spread across his face as he spotted Avilon. "Avi!" he said happily as he walked up to his girlfriend, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her on the lips, holding it for a second before pulling away. "Oh don't worry sweetie, I just did a quest with her that;s all. You know I wouldn't leave you for anything" he said gently to her before taking her hand and leading her back to Hakai. "Hakai, this is my girlfriend, Avilon" he said with a smile as he kissed his girlfriend on the forehead to assure her that Hakai knew they were together as Avilon could be a little nervous at times. "Anyway, we should get going, No?"

As he spoke about only having met with one another just today and that he wouldn't do something like that, "N-noo I- w-wasn't thinking t-that ..." As she was hugged she lit up pink faced to match her hair as she looked over his shoulder uneasy about doing these things in front of another person. As he kissed her she made a slight smile off toward him before nodding and walking slowly over as she  reached out her own hand to shake with Hakai's, "Umm well it's a pleasure to meet you as well Hakai." The flustered tank wobbling now as her footing was already partially compromised from thinking about how this quest would go. "I think I should be ok against it."

Hakai looked away as the two kissed right in front of her. That was a bit awkward, but she supposed it was necessary for the other girls sake. Hakai knew what it was like to be cheated on, so she supposed that a gesture like that could do a lot to strengthen a girlfriend or boyfriends confidence.She unsheathed her claws and pointed out into the mountains. "Now that we're all together, onwards!" She cried out excitedly, waving her cllaws in the air and the general direction of the boss that they would be going to face. She certainly hoped that Pinky wasnt scared of snakes.

Xion nodded towards Hakai before turning and walking in the direction that she had pointed in, pulling Avilon along gently as he held her hand, the trio marching towards the boss together. "This one shouldn't be too hard, as long as Avi and I keep a higher hate than you Hakai and you keep tour DOTs running it will be dead quickly, although I would Like my hate to be the highest to maximise my possible thorns damage, that and I'm the tankiest here..." he said as he approached the boss' arena, surveying the area before the creature burst out of the ground, it's twin heads roaring as Xion stepped forwards to face it. "Stand back..." he said to the others before unleashing a deafening Howl, the boss swooping down to strike him but missing narrowly.

Avilon waddled forward in her armor now glancing back over between the two smiling as she seemed to finally have gotten a small group to work with hopefully if they continued to want to stay as a party for future quests. She nodded hearing the remark about wanting her to keep up more hate then Hakai although she wasn't sure if this boss wouldn't completely destroy her in just a matter of seconds. Hearing this she now glanced around her own willingness to attack a was all but extinct as she always felt like a burden and never was capable of actually doing her own role in this well enough for the team.

Hakai nodded to Xion as he explained the plan. It was quite similar to what they had been doing earlier, except that now that had a second tank who could help out. Hakai stared at the boss as it spawned, the two heads and wings, and charged at it after hearing Xion howl to gain it's attention. Her claws slid across the bosses scales, barely dealing any damage, and not activating any of her dot effects.

Xion watched as Hakai slashed at the serpent quickly, dealing very little damage as she seemed to be unable to activate her DOT. "Get that DOT on quickly Hakai, I don't want this to drag on, not with lower levels around..." he said to the girl as he glanced over at Avilon who seemed to be doing nothing. Was she too scared? Frozen by fear? "Avilong , don't be afraid you can attack it or Howl, I've got it's attention" he said before Howling again at the boss, the serpent lashing out at him, Xion being able to sidestep the attack easily.

Avilon blinked now hearing Xion speak out to her to get her to pay attention to the battle now as she looked over seeing that Hakai had managed to draw some aggro and even land some damage upon the serpent that was now shifting the sands at their feet. She winced and let out a bellowing howl that echoed just like Xion's before her as she was attempting to keep higher then Hakai's in case anything did go wrong this wasn't going to end with anyone getting killed as Avilon had already missed the girl who had lent her so much money. "Don't worry I will keep it off of Hakai no matter what."

Hakai charged at the boss again, hearing the pink haired girl now howling in the same way Xion had been. She approached the boss, but lost her footing on the shifting sand, the two headed snake easily moving around her blow. She sighed, getting back to her feet and preparing to attack again. This was why she had wanted another damage dealer rather than another tank. She gripped her claws tightly and glanced back at Xion to see how he was faring.

Xion smiled as he heard Avilon howl as he had asked her to, it was good that she was doing her job as effectively the secondary tank. She was useful, even if she didn't feel like it. "Good job Avi..." he said before noticing that Hakai had again failed to get her DOT active, the sand was playing havoc with their aim and it was showing. "Bloody sand..." he whispered before being assaulted by the serpent, the twin heads biting away at his shield to no avail, dealing little damage before it recoiled in pain from his thorns, the tank following up with a single strike from his glaive.

Avilon blinked and looked about the area now noticing as Xion took a swing from the boss, it's serpents assault slithered around washign the sand over her as she yelped feelign the sand batter her shield before now peering out her second hand reaching to her belt. She winced and looked around wondering if she could do anything else, even with the cheering of Xion she didn't know if it was really doing anything as she now began to rush forward her sword glimmering in the sand as she planned to strike it with her sword. As her sword made impact she frowned hanging her head as she now braced for more attacks as she noticed her feeble attempt barely scratched it.

Hakai charged at the creature once more, much like Avilon had just done. She swung her claws and this time they connected, the red fading to green as one of her damage over time effects finally activated. It wouldnt be a ton of damage, as it was the weaker of her two, but it would do some, and that little bit would be quite helpful, especially in combination with Xion's thorns and tanking ability.

As the other two attacked the beast Xion noted the minuscule damage that they did per hit, along with him. It bothered the tank that they couldn't just take the beast out with sword arts but it was to be expected, him and Avilon were tanks while Hakai relied on her DOT for damage, so raw power wasn't their forte. The boss roared before charging at Xion, it's teeth digging into his shield and doing minimal damage to Xion while it was punished by his thorns. The player attempted a stab with his glaive but missed.
