[PP-F1] Guild Member Interaction (Mossino)

Recommended Posts

It was a hot day. Of course, it was a hot day. It was always a hot day here on the first floor. Literally, it was summer twenty-four seven and she was feeling bored out of her mind like she always was. The last bit of entertainment that she truly had was a guild meeting between players that were just as low-leveled as she… Some higher leveled, others, a bit less. Kasier smiled, it was a good day to hit someone up and hang around, maybe even go shopping in the real world but most people that she knew were guys and if she brought anyone of them to shopping, people would definitely misunderstand. With a sigh, she slammed her head back on her bed, wandering what she could do when an image came in her mind.

The image was an image of a girl. This girl was very simple… Very innocent as well, almost like Kasier just a couple of weeks ago. She seemed very nice from when Kasier last saw her. Her hair was of perfect texture and her big eyes looking at people, almost as if they were indirectly begging for help. However, Kasier had changed and now her personality was far from similar to the woman. Now, Kasier was not someone that was innocent and nice to everyone. The last person that she had been nice to killed himself, jumped off a cliff, just like that, he had disappeared from both this virtual prison and the real world. Sure, Kasier was still nice but she was not naïve like she was before… Now, she was mature and she understood this world, causing a dramatic change in herself. This innocent girl that was so much like Kasier in the past was a woman by the name of Mossino,

With a smile, she arose from her bed and walked out of her shop to a nearby restaurant. Her shop was a mess so she didn’t want to meet the girl there. With a sigh, she opened her menu and sent a PM to Mossino, asking the girl to come to her location so they can get to know each other better.

Alisa was just returning from her morning exercises heading back to the Town of Beginnings when she got a pm. She seemed lightly curious as she was just with Itzal and she had no other friends. Shrugging, she opened her menu and opened the PM. Oh, it was that girl from the guild meet. Wasn't Kaiser her name or something. She gave a light smile whilst reading the text. The woman wanted to get to know her better, and wanted to see her at some restaurant on the first floor. That was rather perfect because she was just entering town.

Kaiser was rather right in her presumption of the girls innocence. She hadn't seen much of the real or fake world, and hasn't seen anyone die. Alisa was rather sheltered.

After a few minutes pass, Alisa enters the restaurant noted in the message, she finds Kaiser and walks over, waving, "Hello~!" she cheerily states.

Kasier sighed, swiping away her menu and looking at the menu. It was still early in the day so there should be plenty of time for her to order things that she wanted to order and have some breakfast before she went ahead and completed things. Hence, she glanced over the menu and decided in the end that she won’t order anything until Mossino actually arrives. Kasier’s amber eyes scanned the area to see that really weren’t anyone around but that is to be expected really. It was still early in the day and this shop was one of those shops that opened extraordinarily early and hence Kasier had chosen this restaurant.

Soon enough, the girl arrived on time quite quickly and in haste but as soon as the woman entered, Kasier knew immediately that it was Mossino who had entered. Of course, her cheerful voice ringed out from within the restaurant, drawing a few looks from the staff, as they were probably surprised that there was someone so cheerful so early in the morning. Now, Kasier, still slouching in the corner raised her head to see that Mossino had indeed arrived. With a lazy smile, she blew some hair from her face before signaling for Mossino to sit down on the seat opposite of her.

“Yeah, I hope you aren’t going to be busy this afternoon because I’m planning to spend a lot of lady time with you and have some fun for once,” Kasier said, looking at Mossino as she raised her hand, signaling for the waiter to bring one more menu. “Alright, why don’t we have breakfast first though? I assume that you haven’t yet had anything to eat?” She asked, watching as the waiter brought along the menu. “Don’t worry, anything’s on me, it’s only right since I am the inviter. So, anything that perks your eyes and tastebuds?”

Alisa quickly took a seat opposite of Kaiser, realizing she disturbed a few people by talking so loudly. She gave the woman a light smile, hearing her out. She did have nothing to really do for the next part of the day so she had tons of time to chat and talk. She looked around the restaurant as Kaiser talked, looking at all the other people around her. There weren't many people left here. A lot have moved on to floors that suited them more than the constantly hot floor one. She was only here because she just recently got started in the game. But, she was determined to push forward and get as far as she could without dying.

Pulling herself back to reality, she processes what Kaiser had said quickly before responding. She was rather peckish...but she didn't like spending others money. Though, she didn't feel like attempting to argue with someone she didn't even know! Smiling, Alisa talks in her low, soft French accent, "Ah, no I have tons of time today! And thanks I was rather hungry." She quickly tells the waitress what she wants, which turns out to be a plain waffle.

"So, how're you miss Kaiser?" she asks happily.

From their previous encounter, Kasier knew that Mossino didn’t like to spend other people’s money. She had tried really hard to not spend Jonathan’s money and it was quite understandable really. She wasn’t sure whether the woman did it out of nice or out of dignity. Last time, Itzal had to order for Mossino but Kasier was not Itzal. In fact, Kasier was far from Itzal. Itzal was a nice boy and Kasier; she was nice, but only to a certain degree. She knew that only the strong would survive in this world and there was no exception. A weak person will only perish, in fact, many people with strength has died in this world, either killed by PKers or by floor bosses.

Kasier shrugged when she watched as Mossino ordered a plain waffle, one of the cheapest things on the menu. “Heh, very unusual choice. If I were you in this situation, I would’ve definitely ordered the most expensive item. If someone offers me something, they would have to follow through with the offer.” Kasier said, looking at her menu, “For me, I’ll order a cup of coffee as well as an elegant flavored pancake dish.” She said, signaling to the waiter that they were done ordering.

“So, if you need anything to drink, be sure to just order. Anyway, I’ve been doing great so far and I would really like it if you just called me Kasier. That misses in front of me really makes me shiver. I’m not that old yet, only eighteen. I would assume that I’m pretty similar to you in terms of age?” She wondered. Now, maturity is completely different. “Yeah, my day’s been pretty good so far. So, what were you up to this morning to get you so energetic already?” She asked, trying to stir up conversation as they waited for their food.

Hm? She would have ordered the most expensive item? I mean, she did say it was on her but that just seems wasteful. Why order the most expensive item in spite of someone paying for you? That didn't make much sense to her, but that doesn't fully concern her. Besides, she just wanted a waffle. So she was only eighteen, that makes sense...that still makes her the youngest in the game so far at a whopping sixteen.

"Ah, sorry Kaiser...and yeah, I'm only sixteen though, youngest here I think. Also I was just exercising and training a bit ago that's why I'm pretty energetic right now."

She wasn't the best at asking questions as she didn't really know what the norm was. And she was way too awkward to dive into personal questions so she kind of sat there after responding to her.

Kasier smiled, there was no way that the woman was the youngest player within the game. In fact, she has seen, with her very own eyes a little boy that was no more than the age of ten coming out of an inn. Sure, the boy didn’t seem very experienced or equipped but he was filled with determination. In the end, Kasier never found out his name and to this point, Kasier still wandered whether the boy was still alive. Soon, the waiter came along to deliver the food items that they had ordered and it was actually created at quite an extraordinary speed. But that was only to be expected since they really had no other customers at the moment.

“Alright, let’s eat. Eat fast though, because we’re going right into town central after this to look around at some shops and stuff.” Kasier said, picking up her knife and fork before hurriedly starting to eat the pancakes that she had ordered, which she thought was delicious by the way. Soon, after no time, Kasier would be finished. She was quite the rushed eater but she had a big appetite, if this game was in the real world, she would’ve definitely put up about ten pounds by now but this was a video game, and in here, she had the freedom to eat whatever she wanted, how much she wanted and this is what she enjoyed quite a bit about this game.

While eating, Kasier asked a question, seeking to spark up the conversation and bring up something to talk about. This was a question that Teayre had asked her just a couple of days ago during a quest on the fourth floor. “So,” she began, opening her mouth to speak, “What do you enjoy most about this game so far?” She asked.

Alisa hadn't seen anyone younger than her before in the game. Though, of course she hadn't seen many people in this game. The most conversation she has had in one sitting is when they were discussing the guild. Which is rather comical to be honest, but sad if you think about it. Once the food arrived, she looked down at her waffle happily. She started slowly eating then realized Kaiser was nearing finishing. She speeds up a bit, enjoying every bite she took. She wanted to go into town and look around eh? She could go for that, company for the next few hours anyway.

While in the middle of the of her waffle Kaiser springs her question. What did she enjoy about this game. Honestly, Alisa didn't know. The entire idea of the game is morbid. Stuck in a game that forces us to die if we mess up in the game. It was depressing on many, many levels. But there were enjoyable parts yes. But had Alisa found the part she liked the best? The mob fighting was okay, the socialization was really good actually...I mean, to be honest, she knows she will enjoy cooking.

Taking another second to respond, she lightly states, "To be honest...so far the best thing for me is the socialization with other people..I never really got out of the house in real life..and I've met quite literally a few people in here I like."

She smiles at Kaiser lightly, taking another few bites of her waffle.

Soon enough, she finished her meal as well as her coffee. Although one simply doesn’t need food in this game, she made sure that she kept a good diet in this game as well as in her past life. Indeed, she didn’t want to get rid of good habits that she had before she entered this game and in the end, she probably will. However, for the moment, she must continue to keep on going with her diet. With a sigh, she took the last gulp, signaling that she had finally finished before she called over the waiter and paid for both her and Mossino. "Don't worry about it, in this game, you'll make lots of friends. Everyone here is pretty much like you, honestly."

She had originally planned to go and take the woman shopping, looking through town and maybe later, she’ll do just that. However, for now, she had another idea. Kasier had never really been the smart one, but in this game, among all these extraordinary gamers, her intelligence is actually above average to her surprise. Perhaps she was just hanging out with people that were way too smart for her in real life but that was a topic which was meant for another day… A different story that was meant to be told in a different thread. Having paid for both Mossino and herself, Kasier left the empty dishes and stood up from the chair.

Alright, let’s go then…. You’re pretty close to finishing as well. Come on, there’s a place that I want to show you.” Kasier said, smiling, already developing something fresh, something exciting in mind. There was no telling whether Mossino would like it or not, but it really didn’t matter does it? Everyone needs something to spice things up a bit and Kasier knew just what she wanted to do for the remainder of the morning. With a signal of her hand, she began to walk out of the shop, expecting Mossino to follow her.

Most of the food Alisa ate in the game were sweet foods, just because it tasted real, but had no calories. On top of that, her insatiable sweet tooth demanded she did so. She finished up her waffle right as the waitress came by to take their plates. She thanked Kaiser again for buying her some food, which was always appreciated. She watched as the woman quickly paid and stood up, stating something about a place she wanted to show. This intrigued Alisa, as she was somewhat easily excited. She quickly stood up and nodded, saying another thanks to Kaiser before following her out the door with her. "Where are we going?" she finally asks. She wondered what Kaiser wanted to do with her. She had just met this women, but she was rather friendly, and seemed mostly harmless. Though, she knew people could have ulterior motives, but she had never met anyone like that, so it wasn't a problem. She walked beside of Kaiser, rather happily.

Kasier smiled. This was going to be fun. The starting city was about as crowded as it ever was. NPCs were busy running their shops and quite a bit of players had come down to this floor to have fun in one of the most populated floors of Aincrad. After passing the busy streets of the first floor, she arrived at the empty training grounds of the first floor. Indeed, here was one of the few places that she had visited by herself the moment that she had walked out of the inn that she had stayed hidden in for so long.

Here was the moment that she had tried to use the starting curved sword that she was given in the game. Kasier smiled, turning around to face Mossino. With her face full of taunt and a fake seriousness, she began to speak as she equipped her heavy armor as well as her curved sword, a perfect curved sword that is able to inflict serious bleeding to players that it touches as well as paralysis. So far, though, she had yet to use it in any scenarios. Indeed, she had no need to use it so far either. And here, it was just for show, not that Mossino would know anyway.

She was trying to create a scenario, a scenario that might teach Mossino something. While Itzal could teach Mossino about how she can wield her sword and how she can scout for treasures and seek for mobs, Kasier, she can teach Mossino the most important thing. She can teach Mossino of the mentality. The battle of the mind. Indeed, that was what she is good at. She can’t strike a deadly shot with her sword, but she can strike a deadly strike with the mind. And that is how she will be known in this world.

“I would’ve brought you out of the safe zone to do this, but you are probably too cowardly to go out of the safe zone. Anyway, I have been planning on betraying the guild. A PK guild had recently come for me and apparently; I have to duel three people in order to join the PK guild. Now, the PK guild had plenty of powerful players, so, let’s get this duel started.” Kasier said, opening her menu and sending the half-loss duel to Mossino. “I would hate to kill someone as sweet as you, so let’s just do a half-loss duel, sweetie.”

Alisa followed Kaiser beside of her, wondering what was going to happen. She wasn't thinking about what could happen. To be honest she though Kaiser was going to show her a cool place in the Town of Beginings. How wrong was she eh? They got to the training grounds and Alisa looked around the desolate spot. Some training dummies and stuff, she had seen this place before. Never used it before though, but still. She was opening her mouth to question Kaiser as she started to talk. A...PK guild? Alisa tilted her head curiously. Why would Kaiser betray the people she already knew, why would she join a PK guild? Why would she? A look of confusion spread across Alisa's face as Kaiser sent her the request.

They were in a safe-zone, and it was half-loss duel. There was no problem in doing this. But she wanted answers...

"I'll accept this...but why?, and I won't stop you...but I want to know why?" She didn't raise her voice, nor did she sound sad. She just wanted to know why.

Her right hand's pointer finger presses the accept button as her rapier appears on her side. It was still the starting one.

And hence, the combat starts, the girl had accepted the duel request and things were definitely heating up, perking Kasier’s interest. This was going to be fun, no doubt about it. It wasn’t a matter of how fun it could be but rather how long it would last. Kasier had found the world of Aincrad to be black and white recently; nothing was really that interesting to Kasier lately considering maybe different methods to entertain herself. Honestly, all this game was is a cycle of training and sleeping, training and sleeping, every single day and Kasier didn’t find it entertaining. This was a video game after all. It should be able to perk people’s interests.

“Why? It’s a long story, Mossino. Everything in this game is related around power. If people’s levels are high, they can do whatever they want in this game in which a government or something does not exist to keep order.” Kasier said, pulling out her curved sword, letting it glow as the sun’s rays reflected off her curved sword. Perhaps her first ever time using her sword would be against another player, a player from her guild. With a sigh, she prepared as the count down began. This was a good method of practicing with the sword and it was a good opportunity to see what Itzal had done with the woman so far. If you simply look at Mossino, there was no way that you would be able to tell that she is a fighter. She was way too kind to inflict damage to anyone, just like she was before. But not now, she had seen six deaths already in this game, more people than she knew that was alive so far. Indeed, her history in this game was a bad one and hence, she learned to be strong, but kind at the same time.

Soon, the countdown began and whoever moves first will strike first.

“10…9…8…7…” The countdown began.

Alisa continued to look curiously at Kaiser. Power may be a big part of things, but it certainly wasn't everything. She always thought having fun was the best part of life, and that includes the game. She frowned at the woman in front of her, watching her closely. She was going to get the first strike in. She may look kind and innocent, but she was training to be a fighter, and was going to use her appearance to her advantage in the end. She put her right hand on her rapier, still closely inspecting her opponent.

"6...5...4...3" The countdown continued.

"Power is important I guess...but shouldn't one just have fun while progressing through the game? That's how I've always looked at life?" she states, still in her happy voice. She drew her rapier. It was still the basic one. She didn't expect to win this duel in the slightest, but she was going to have fun fighting someone she knew. Of course, she was still lightly worried. She didn't want Kaiser nor anyone to join a guild meant for killing other players. That's like joining the mafia or some gang. It's a bad move, and will end her up in a bad situation eventually.

Alisa shook her head, "I really hope you are kidding about joining a guild like that..I won't try and stop you, it's your choice..just..be careful?" She says softly, giving Kaiser another smile. Maybe her logic was a bit backwards, but she didn't want anyone she knew, even if they were supposedly going evil to be hurt.

"2....1....0" The countdown rings out, and finishes. Alisa wasn't going to give her much room, and went up on her rather fast, calculating a break in Kaiser's defense. That was her fighting style, find a weakness in the enemies defense, and then attack it and push them back. Though, as Alisa is moving forward to find one of these weak points, she prematurely lunges forward, missing an attack on Kaiser by a long shot, a rather...embarrassing miss.

As soon as the countdown went down to zero, the woman struck, not waiting one moment before attempting to hurt Kasier. She had charged forward with extraordinary speed and with her sword, she attempted to hit Kasier. However, the result of her rushed attack had been an uneasy attack and an attack that was extremely easy to read. Despite her attacking with very good speed and complete freedom, Kasier was able to tilt her head to the left just slightly right before she struck to avoid the attack. With a smile, she knew that the girl had struck and was now in a very awful position. After attacking, the girl made no efforts to retreat and Kasier was definitely not a slow player. Her red eyes stared coldly forwards as she prepared to attack.

Unfortunately, she would probably be unable to strike with her sword. With a critical, Kasier would be able to one-shot the girl, and she definitely did not want to do that. She was pulling a practice session for the girl and teaching her a lesson so she would not use her sword. She didn’t want to take the chance of one-shooting the girl with her enhancements. Bleed inflicts twenty-four damage, in total and she wasn’t sure whether combat ends if there was a status inflicted on someone. If, in fact, combat doesn’t end at that point, Mossino would definitely be at death’s doors. Kasier sighed, she didn’t have a chance of attacking and she didn’t want to attack either.

“Come get me.” She said, tauntingly as she walked back, “Attack me with all your might, all your rage. Because once I join that PK guild, I might be back to kill you, your friends, and the rest of your guild.” She said, drifting, well, almost drifting as she retreated and embraced for another strike that might be coming from Mossino.

OOC- Rolls just aren't doing it for me today...

Alisa frowned at Kaiser after her taunting. She wouldn't go and kill her friends would she?...Would...she? Whatever it was, the comment slowly ate away at Alisa from the inside. Readying her Rapier again, she calls out to the women slowly walking back.

Alisa noted that Kaiser didn't attempt to fight back yet, which she thought was rather odd. What did she have in planned? She didn't know, and attempted to try to figure it out. But it still made no sense.

"I don't think you would kill your friends or come after them." Alisa attempted to keep her voice low and level like normal, but Kaiser could hear a subtle hint of anger in her voice. She was slowly, very slowly getting angry. She moved forward, still attempting to fight Kaiser and tried to get a quick impalement onto her shoulder. But, as she is slightly on tilt and still trying to process what Kaiser had said, she misses by a long shot, critically failing and leaving her in a very open position near Kaiser.

Kasier smirked. She could sense it. She could hear the anger arising from beneath Mossino’s heart. Her kind heart was slowly becoming infuriated. She was changing a little, just that puny little and anger was not something bad in certain situations. With anger comes the will to fight. Anger is probably one of the best driving forces to victory. What motivates someone to do something? If they are happy with their situation, then why would they do anything? Only anger can allow someone to progress and Kasier was proud that she had discovered this. This was something that Itzal could not teach Mossino… Not in a million years. Perhaps she’ll even challenge him to try something like this. With this, Kasier will teach Mossino a valuable lesson.

Anger, however, is dangerous if one does not know how to control it. If one allows anger to overcome their personality and soul, then they allow holes for opposition to strike. And here, Kasier saw the perfect opportunity. Her eyes lit up at the situation as Mossino attempted another attack that had missed and left her in a very, very open position that Kasier could easily counter. Kasier’s hair shot up as her right arm went right to her right side and out comes her sword, which she used soon to strike the girl who had left her right side completely open. Sure, it wasn’t a lot of damage, one to be exact, but if the combat was against a damage dealer, the situation would’ve been dire and dangerous.

“Disappointing. You should know better than to leave your side completely open like that. You are simply leaving yourself open for a counter attack that you can’t defend against. Come on, Mossino… You need to be stronger, faster, and smarter in combat. Launch forward and strike only during a good opportunity. At this rate, you will never reach the front lines… And if I so desire to kill your friends, it will be done and you won’t be able to do anything to stop it." @Mossino

Alisa jumped by, the sword hitting her side whilst she was wide open. She felt a burning sensation, but nothing major, just the pain of the game. Her expression turned to one of a frown as she heard Kaiser continue to talk down to her. She didn't  like to be called out like that. It hurt her deeply to imagine her dreams could be broken like that. She knew that she wasn't the best nearly at this game, but she was trying hard. People discrediting her like this wasn't her favorite thing to hear. Alisa didn't say anything back, but anger was building up on her face, and it was obvious, it was impossible for her to hide her emotions most of the time.

Her actions were becoming sloppy, and she was legitimaty angry now. The first time in ages she had been visibly angry with someone. She lunged forward again without calculating wanting to get a hit off on her. This however was a bad mistake as in her blind anger she made the same mistake even after Kaiser taunted her about it, lunging far past Kaiser and leaving herself open for another attack.

Once again, she watched as the girl charged forwards angrily. She liked the anger; she liked the fierceness that she charged at her with. Indeed, Mossino would turn out to be a great fighter unless she dies before that point. If she could fight with anger and strength, then she would surely be able to reach the front lines and if she fights in the front lines with as much anger as she fought her with… They would sure have a fighter that can help them beat this game. Perhaps the girl will reach the end, heck, at this point, who knows who will be the person to lead the front lines and defeat all the floor bosses? For all Kasier knows, no matter how unlikely Mossino would turn out that be that person, the possibility couldn’t be eliminated. Perhaps her philosophy about kindness not equaling strength was wrong. Who knows? All that will come in the future.

For now though, the way that the girl was fighting, she will never be able to reach the front lines. If she was unable to hit a healer, then she will definitely be unable to hit a floor boss. She must improve and Kasier was going to make sure that she knows that she must improve. In order to escape this world, everyone must work hard, there will be struggles, surprises along the way and in order to succeed, one must overcome that. Mossino still have much to improve and even a healer like Kasier was fully aware of this.

With a sigh, she casually let her sword arise before striking Mossino’s back with the helm of her sword, pushing her back a bit more before retreating a bit in order to avoid Mossino’s fast attack and prepare to counter any attacks that may be coming her way. Without another word, she lifted up her arms, indicating that she was ready for any attacks that Mossino might throw her way.

The smile that was nearly permanently plastered on Alisa's face was gone at this point. Things didn't get under her skin easy, but what Kaiser had said, and her threats angered Alisa. Was it because she couldn't understand what was going on? No...she could understand the generalities, but she couldn't understand why someone would attempt to hurt their friends for power. It didn't make sense to her in the slightest. This only angered her further as Kaiser didn't take this seriously. What she had said was that she wanted to be a murderer, and Alisa couldn't stand for it.

She was furious below her frown, for the first time in forever, and she quickly rushed down Kaiser.

Even through her blind anger, she had to get lucky at some point, and lunging forward her blade connects with Kaiser's shoulder, piercing it and dealing the minimum of one damage. She was lightly happy she landed a blow, but it didn't matter as she stepped away from Kaiser, wondering if she'll go full out yet. The expression on her face was one of anger, she had succeeded in making Alisa unhappy.
