Kasier 0 Posted August 14, 2016 Author #21 Share Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) ID: 66024 BD: 5 @Mossino Kasier watched as Mossino came back and struck her. The woman had managed to hit her and she had not intended for her to do so. Kasier had attempted to dodge the attack but it seemed like the girl was now attacking without words and hesitation. From her face, Kasier could tell that she was having trouble keeping her anger down and Kasier was sure that through her anger, she will be able to become a powerful player who can deal damage accordingly and with intenseness when it is necessary. The problem was how to get the girl angry. Kasier had thought of this situation in order to make the girl mad but she would not be able to do this every single time that she wanted the girl angry and prepared for combat. When she is angry though, she sure packed a punch. With a fast attack, she was able to swift cut into Kasier’s shoulder and despite the fact that it really didn’t do that much damage, Kasier was totally astonished at the strike and speed of the sword blade. It had come striking at her and Kasier had barely the time to dodge out of the way. With a grin, she knew that this was it. The girl had been able to hit her but she was sure that she had not yet reached her maximum potential. There were still more anger that is within which can be released, she just didn’t have what it took to release it yet. Perhaps a death of her friend would truly unleash the beast within the girl but she had potential… She had potential to grow as a DPS, maybe even stronger than the strongest front liner alive. But what did she know? All she can do is trust her instincts and this was what her instincts were telling her. With a smile, she struck with her blade, managing to miss the target completely. Mossino 0 Posted August 14, 2016 #22 Share Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) The woman was mad, and when she was angry she apparently fought a lot more aggressively. She didn't precieve it herself, but Kaiser had realized it by this point. This was only due to her being reckless and careless while angry, because she didn't know how to legitimately control it. To be honest she was just in the middle of the duel, still processing why Kaiser said what she said. It would be a long time before she got to her maximum potential, but she would eventually. So far, it seems threats towards her dreams and people she considered close to her ticked her off. But there could be others that made her get angry. Though, some that would normally anger people, just may make her saddened, so it would be something Kaiser would have to experiment with to see what made her become more agitated. Readying her rapier, she calls out, "Why are you doing zis though? Do you not care for Itzal or Morgen? Do you want to kill people in a guild like that?" she states, her voice slightly higher and agitated. In her rage, her accent becomes thicker. After stating what she did, she rushed forward, attempting to impale the woman's chest. The lunge lands right beside where Kaiser's virtual heart would be, scoring a deadly critical hit. Though, because of this games damage ratios, she still only takes the low one damage from the attack. If she could have broke Kaiser's mitigation, it would have done some serious damage. __________ Roll ID: ID# 66026 BD: 9 Edited August 14, 2016 by Mossino
Kasier 0 Posted August 14, 2016 Author #23 Share Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) ID: 66028 BD: 10 @Mossino Kasier smiled as she watched Mossino charge straight at her, pressing her sword onto Kasier’s chest and dealing a critical. Unfortunately, though, the woman had been unable to deal more than one damage and that is how it would be if she didn’t get stronger, if she didn’t obtain more gear. However, she was being entertained. This whole situation was entertaining to her and she loved the drama and fierceness that both of them were experiencing. Before her attack, Kasier looked up at the sun to see that it was dead in the sky. Time for lunch and perhaps it was time to end the battle as well. Previously, she had hoped that she wouldn’t inflict a critical damage because it was sure to defeat Mossino with one strike given that she had no mitigation and bleed was extremely effective against a low-leveled player. With a smile, she watched as Mossino charged forward wit ha sword in hand before striking her dead in the center. Still though, Mossino never retreated after the attack. She stayed there and it would prove to be the loss factor for her. With yet another smile… No, a grin this time, she swung her curved sword quickly before Mossino could realize and struck her dead in the head, causing a critical. “Well, I guess it’s over now.” She said, eyeing as the woman was obviously inflicted with paralysis as well as the bleed enhancement. Not only would the woman be unable to attack or move, she would lose twelve health points next turn, half of her health to be exact and that would be the end of the fight. “Well, it was fun while it lasted. I’ll explain everything afterwards.” She said, smiling as she put her sword in the sheath that it belonged in. Her sword relied very much on luck. Without a critical, it would be unable to do anything. But with a critical, it was deadly, to both mobs and players. Mossino 0 Posted August 14, 2016 #24 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Without a moment hesitation after Alisa's strike, she is hit in the neck by Kaiser's sword. Suddenly, she would feel a burning sensation of pain, and knew it was game over when two status affects popped up on her HP bar. She didn't know what they were until she tried to move. She was stunned, or paralyzed, she couldn't even talk. Seconds after her HP dropped well below half and the duel was concluded, Kaiser being the winner. Kaiser hit her with a damage over time attack, and it instantly made her lose the duel. As the duel ended the status affects went away, so did the pain and her HP went back up. Looking back up at Kaiser, there was light anger in her eyes. But she seemed lightly pleased to know what was actually going on. She wasn't going to attempt to attack Kaiser out of the duel. But, as someone that knew the perfectly innocent Alisa, she was now different. There was a fire in her that had been sparked, and will most likely provide more benefit than worry down the road. Which seems like what Kaiser was going for.
Kasier 0 Posted August 15, 2016 Author #25 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Kasier nodded as she saw the words: YOU WIN! Spread out across her eyes. Indeed, she had seen it. She had won the duel but in all honestly, it was Mossino who had won. She was a new Mossino. Kasier could sense certain fierceness within the player, sparking as she stood up. Kasier smiled as she opened her menu and put away the heavy armor that made her so uncomfortable as well as the curved sword that seemed so intimidating by her side, with a sigh, she began to speak and explain everything that Mossino was probably so confused about. “So, uh, how do you feel after the fight?” Kasier asked, “Oh, and by the way, all that was made in order to create a scenario in which might exist within the game. So yeah, I won’t be killing any of your friends or anything like that. It was just so you can get a bit angrier and maybe unleash more of your potential. It was a good fight; you landed a few more hits than I expected you to even if you weren’t able to deal that much damage.” Kasier finished, smiling, pleased at both her and Mossino. “We should do that more often.” She suggested, smirking as she began to walk. However, there is still so much anger to be released, so more power that the girl holds within her heart. Indeed… This is interesting… The future might not be as boring as it might be. Kasier thought as her stomach grumbled. “Come on, let’s go grab some lunch and have some fun for the afternoon. If you didn’t get enough practice in the morning, surely that was enough training for the day.” Kasier said, grinning as she led the way to one of her favorite NPC restaurants. Mossino 0 Posted August 15, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Alisa stood scowling at Kaiser whilst she explained everything. She wanted a damn good explanation, and had a mindset to slap Kaiser. Though, as she talked, her scowl slowly went to a look of confusion as she tilted her head, to a smile. She then laughs to herself, muttering, "Ah, I'm so stupid.." So that is what it is. Itzal conscripted her to give her another lesson at some point. Kaiser took the opportunity whilst they socializing. It all made sense now. With her happy demeanor returned, but the fire still started within her, she smiles at Kaiser, "I see, ah...sorry I got so mad! I should have known! And I'd love lunch, thank you so much." That made a more sense then Kaiser being a murderous maniac. She felt honestly relieved and it was obvious from the lightly embarrassed face Alisa had currently. She walked beside Kaiser towards the restaurants in the middle of town, putting her rapier back in her inventory, the sheath on her side dissapearing. She disliked having it out, just got in the way. Kasier 0 Posted August 15, 2016 Author #27 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Kasier laughed on the inside as she watched Mossino’s emotions change on an instant. She had gone from pure anger to a laugh and the wide span of expressions was enough to bring out a chuckle from Kasier. Kasier’s black hair flew in the sky and she walked through the town of the first floor. It was a very good day, the weather was perfect and Kasier felt so much more at ease and much more relaxed after that duel. As she led the way, she refrained from talking to Mossino, mostly because she didn’t feel like doing so at the moment. She would save the talking for when they actually reach the restaurant. Soon, Kasier arrived at the restaurant that she had enjoyed previously with a player by the name of Cygnus. It had been a while since she had last seen him and well, she realized that she should probably thank him again for the last lunch that she was treated to. She had spent good times with good people but in the end, it was highly unlikely that those people would survive until the end. It was highly unlikely that she, along with the rest of the guild would survive until the very end. Kasier smiled, opening the door of the restaurant for Mossino to walk in. The shop was well known for having a lot of meat products and held a good satisfaction rating from its customers. Indeed, she had been here several times since Cygnus had invited her here and she had enjoyed the food to some extend since that time. As she sat down near the corner of the shop like she always did, she motioned for the nearby waitress to come over and hand the menu. “Once again, enjoy whatever you want. I’ll be paying.” She said, her face smiling and was still pleased with the way she along with the other girl fought.
Mossino 0 Posted August 17, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Alisa followed Kaiser towards a next restaurant. She still felt stupid about not realizing Itzal set this up. Well, at least that is what she thought. She was far from the truth sadly. She smiled at Kaiser from behind. She was a...well, Alisa didn't know what to make of Kaiser. She seemed nice, but there was something else there she couldn't make out. Of course, she wasn't going to snoop and try to figure Kaiser out, but maybe she should get to know Kaiser better at some point, maybe soon. She walked into the restaurant and sat down, surveying the menu. Sandwiches to plates of meats, stuff from lots of nationalities. It seems a lot more people got trapped into the game than she thought. German sausage...hamburgers...and other dishes she couldn't even pronounce or knew about. After a few minutes of deciding she just settled for a simple sandwich. One of the cheaper items, but she wasn't hungry, nor did she want to spend Kaiser's money. "Thank you again for paying, Kaiser, also fun fight...sorry I got riled up again."
Kasier 0 Posted August 17, 2016 Author #29 Share Posted August 17, 2016 At this point, Kasier had already figured out what Mossino was like. Honestly, her personality was so similar to Kasier’s old self that it made her dizzy. She didn’t know how to interact with the player but she kind of knew at the same time. It was a hard thing for her to describe. Perhaps this was how other players felt when they met her and tried to speak with her back when she was so innocent and mature. With a sigh, she adjusted on her seat before ordering a menu. With a smile, she ordered a spicy barbecue steak. Indeed, she was feeling hungry and would love something spicy after the duel that they had had the early that morning. Of course, Kasier knew fully that Mossino was lying. Indeed, how could one possibly be not hungry after the duel that they just had. It was only insulting to Kasier that she, despite having just had a duel, was unable to even make Mossino hungry. With a sigh, she decided to just be straight out and order the same thing that she had ordered for Mossino and hope that the woman was fine with eating spicy food. “Hey, waitress, I’d like two extra large spicy barbecue steak please. And make them extra spicy.” She said, grinning as she motioned to the waitress, making her order clear and concise, not wasting any time in the order. “So, how was that for a duel? Have you ever had anything more fun than that duel? Believe it or not, that was actually the first time that I used my curved sword in this game. Kind of describes what type of player I am. As a healer, I really don’t use my weapon that much. But it sure is fun to use it occasionally.” Kasier said, realizing how much she had changed since she became an active member of the game. Mossino 0 Posted August 17, 2016 #30 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Alisa was opening her mouth to order when Kaiser ordered for them, 'barbecue steak that is extra spicy.' That honestly sounded really good, and she did adore spicy foods. But, who doesn't like spicy foods!? Setting her menu down, she gives a smile towards Kaiser, hearing out her next sentence. The duel? To be honest it infuriated her a bit for the taunting, but, now that she can view it from a third person-point-of-view, it was decently fun. She hate to admit it, but she does like the fighting. It gave her a rush of adrenaline, kept her on her toes...Perhaps that feeling could come back and bite her eventually...push how she thinks. "The duel was fun...I mean..really fun...the most fun though..I don't know." she trails on for a second, not wanting to get into details. "I want to be a damage dealer..I'll be using my gear, a lot." She stops talking after, to think of a question. She is rather uncreative, and can't come up with an appropriate response. Sighing lightly, she stays quiet.
Kasier 0 Posted August 18, 2016 Author #31 Share Posted August 18, 2016 Kasier watched as the waiter took the order and walked into the kitchen. The place was quite crowded so Kasier honestly had no idea when they would be able to receive the food that they ordered. Still, it didn’t matter that much since Kasier always found ways to make conversation. There were still much more that Kasier could know about Mossino. Everyone had something hidden within them and Kasier absolutely loved to dig out their secrets little by little and no one can stop her. Indeed, she had never been this nosy before but she was a changed woman… And no one will be able to change her back to who she used to be. With a smile of her own, she cleared out some hair from her face before grabbing onto her sword and unsheathing it on the table. Mossino had had the first hand experience of receiving a direct hit from the blade. Kasier was not the expert of DPS but as a healer, she needed to know a lot about the game so she can heal accordingly during battle while she’s behind everyone. It was her duty to watch over the battlefield. Kasier smirked before offering her side of the story to Mossino. “Well, as a healer, I don’t really do damage but it was nice for me to get a sword of my own in case I need it. I only use this during emergency situations or when I need to help out my party. This curved sword heavily relies on luck. If I got a lucky critical, then I would be able to both paralyze and inflict bleed on my opposition. Of course, I sacrifice a lot of damage. But in the end, it’s worth it since I’m not a damage dealer. Of course, I’m not an expert on weapons so can I ask you about the enhancements of the gear that you currently have and are going to get in the future?”
Mossino 0 Posted August 20, 2016 #32 Share Posted August 20, 2016 Alisa listened closely to Kaiser's word as she talked about being a healer. She didn't seem like only a healer though. With a sword like that she was a supportive mix. Where if she was certain if she could get a critical hit and activate her status affects, she would take the shot. Other than that she would step back and only heal. Something Alisa would call Flex-Support. Though, that comes from one of the games she used to play. But past that, Kaiser didn't seem like someone to be behind the fight supporting others. She seemed like one that would be up on the boss destroying its HP before anyone else got to it. But I guess the same could be said for Alisa, as she doesn't seem like the type to do damage, but support others. It was certainly funny, reality versus expectation. She wondered how it would be, her first time on the frontlines. Stroll up to all the other tanks and people, no one knows her, and then just deal mass damage. It would be funny, but, that is for far in the future. After hearing her question, she states, slightly embarrassed, "Ah, I still have all ze uhm, starting gear. I'm going to be getting some stuff soon though. Most likely ze sword will have Bleed One and Damage Two on it. Ze armor..I'm still not sure to be honest. I know I will get a ring that is like pure accuracy but...I'm still not sure. Besides I don't have the money for all of this, haha..." Resting her voice for a second, she takes a glance around the crowded facility before turning back to Kaiser. "You really don't seem like a uh..what do they call it, support player. At least when I met you, you didn't seem like it. What made you want to be a support?" she tilts her head, questioning her.
Kasier 0 Posted August 20, 2016 Author #33 Share Posted August 20, 2016 “Hey, that’s offensive.” Kasier replied jokingly. “What about me make me not seem like a good healer? Are you saying that a healer can’t be serious and mature like me? Well, girl. You have misunderstood quite a bit. I’ve always been the type of player to help others, even in real life. Before I entered the game, I was in medical school and was on my way to becoming a good doctor. Maybe that is why I decided to be a healer. Besides, lots of doctors in real life aren’t that nice. I think I’m absolutely amazing on the nice meter in comparison to them.” She finished, sighing and taking a deep breath. She had been too quick to defend herself in her position as a healer and she was sure that she would soon turn out to be a great healer who supports players in Aincrad. Of course, she wouldn’t only be a healer. Soon enough, she will reach out for other roles such as tank and DPS. She can’t simply be limited to one thing and eventually; she’ll work to become a very balanced player. She would, at that point, be able to deal damage, mitigate damage, as well as heal damage. It was perfect, and Kasier couldn’t wait until she reached that status so she can chill back and be lazy like who she really was all over again. “By the way, you have a little bit of accent. Where are you from?” She asked. “Also, what made you want to become a DPS? I think you are just as unsuitable as a DPS as you think I am unsuitable as a support player.” She finished, expressing her opinions and hoping that she didn’t offend the innocent player, not that she had tried to anyway
Mossino 0 Posted August 20, 2016 #34 Share Posted August 20, 2016 Alisa, not catching onto the joke, apologized quickly for the presumed offense. Her cheeks grew a bit red from light guilt as she heard the woman out. So she was going to medical school in real life? That's so cool! She smiled as she listened to the woman. She had never met someone going that high in real life. Though she didn't know anyone in real life, that was probably why. She was going to comment on Kaiser's profession-in-training before she was asked a question. Why did she want to be a DPS? Well, to be honest, that is how she played in any game before SaO. Up there on the boss dealing mass damage and leaving everyone else in the dirt. "Oh, I'm from France, and uh..I don't really know..Is just 'ow I play games, as a DPS....and I find it...really fun to fight..." she ends lightly, light she is somewhat embarrassed to admit it. After a pause she asks, "So how is medical school? That sounds really fun and interesting!" she states excitedly, her slight embarrassment already gone as she is excited for something else. Kasier 0 Posted August 20, 2016 Author #35 Share Posted August 20, 2016 Kasier watched as the waitress came out with the steak that the two had ordered. It had taken quite a while… More time than Kasier had expected the creation of the steak to take. However, maybe tastier items require more time to make. As the waitress came along and placed their items on their table, she could feel her virtual stomach grumble in hunger. The battle early on in the day had taken way too long and it had taken a lot out of Kasier as well. Since she was a healer, she really wasn’t adapted to combat. In the end, though, eventually she will have to get used to combat if she wanted to become a balanced player who is able to do both tanking, damage dealing, and healing. “France huh? So, you have already played a lot of these RPG games? SAO is probably one of my first RPG games. I have played a few before but I really didn’t reach the leaderboards or made that much progress in them. I guess medical school was too busy for me to really do other stuff with my life. Maybe SAO is a good thing for me, to take a break from all the medical terms that I have to memorize and all the exams that I have to take. I guess that’s a selfish thing to say. Time to dig in then.” She said, taking the nearby knife and fork before beginning to cut the steak and eating. Kasier’s eyes lit up when she took the first bite. “This is pretty good. Not as spicy and hot as I expected it to be. What do you think?” She asked, wandering how Mossino thought of the food. With a sigh, she began to eat and poke at the food once more. Mossino 0 Posted August 21, 2016 #36 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Alisa had rather vivid dreams of the future. She had daydreams about further down the road, fighting mobs, leveling up, becoming more and more powerful. She had high hopes, and was rather optimistic. Though, this sense of confidence and hope could lead to her ultimate doom. Hopefully she wouldn't turn out that careless. But today wasn't a day to think about death, sadness, or becoming better. It was just a day to relax with a new friend. She listened to Kaiser while the waitress brought the steaks out. After Kaiser took her first bite, Alisa looked down at the piece of meat hungrily. Picking up her utensils, she takes a bite. The spicy mixed with the barbecue made a delicious taste she hadn't really experienced before. After a second, she makes an "Mhm," noise before asking another question. "Maybe medical school was a bit busy? But did you at least like it? No?"
Kasier 0 Posted August 21, 2016 Author #37 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Kasier smiled when the gentle girl asked if medical school after ignoring her question about how good the food was. Of course, Kasier didn’t think about it too much. Maybe the girl just forgot about her question or maybe she had hearing problems. Perhaps it’s because she just simply let the question slip her mind. Still, Kasier didn’t think about it too much. It wasn’t an important question anyway. It was simply a question regarding a small detail such as food in this game. Just like how everyone was simply a small detail in a virtual prison. With a sigh, she began to answer Mossino’s new question regarding her career choice. “Medical school is the pain of my life. I hate the progress. If you ever want to be a doctor, trust me… Medical school absolutely kills your free time. It’s the fact that I know I will be able to save lives after graduation that keeps me going and lets me get good grades.” She said, explaining her current situation. She had told quite a bit about her own life but she hadn’t really asked Mossino about her own life. “So, uh, you are in high school? You said you were sixteen, right? It’s kind of weird that you are only two years younger than me. I should still be in college at this point but I went to a program that let me do both medical school as well as bachelor’s degree. So, how are your grades?"
Mossino 0 Posted August 21, 2016 #38 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Alisa didn't mean to not answer that question, she just got caught up in the taste and totally forgot. She wasn't hard of hearing at all, actually she could hear rather well. But she is in those wonderful teenage years where she hears and thinks on everything, but forgets to act on it. Another sign of her age. She continued to eat a bit slowly listening to the woman as she talked. She was in fact in high school, and was in..what she believed to be Eleventh Grade in American terms. That is where Kaiser mentioned she was from right? What were her grades...honestly she had forgotten what her last big test came out to. Though, simply enough, she was an A student, but Homeschool was rather easy. "Well. I am still in High school, yes, I think I would be in uh..eleventh grade in America...I have home schooled all my life and uh...I make straight A's...that's...uhm that....I guess I kinda wanted to get into programming or math or something. I didn't really figure that out before I got stuck in this game." Alisa seems to blank out after stating that, like she is in thought. The expression on her face is a mixture of happiness and guilt, most likely as she thinks about things she has done outside of the game. Most likely saddened that she got trapped in here at all. She stops eating whilst she blanks out.
Kasier 0 Posted August 21, 2016 Author #39 Share Posted August 21, 2016 “Homeschooled, eh? Sounds fun.” She simply stated as she finished up her steak. The day had been good. Indeed, it had been a very interesting and fun day. Of course, despite the fact that the day was still far from over, she felt quite tired and would love the rest of the day to her. Kasier yawned, her face showing obvious tiredness as she stood up from the chair and paid to the waitress. “Very well, thank you for accompanying me today. I hope you have a great rest of your afternoon. For me, I’m feeling quiet tired at this point.” She said, “Maybe we can go out and have another day like this.” She finished, sighing as she walked out. “For now though, I’m going to go home and get some rest so I don’t burn myself out from tiredness.” She finished, pushing open the door and walking out after paying the waitress for the food that they already had
Mossino 0 Posted August 21, 2016 #40 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Alisa watched as the woman got up, paid for the meal, said a few words and left rather quickly. She was tired after just a small duel and some time up? Of course maybe Kaiser had done something before coming out to meet Alisa. Whatever it was, she said she had to leave. She gave Kaiser a quick goodbye and another thank you for buying her breakfast and lunch. Alisa quickly finished her steak and left minutes after Kaiser had left. Sighing, she looked around the restaurant and promptly left. She had nothing else to do for the rest of the day. She frowned, remembering the fight from earlier. She didn't do well, and frankly if that was a real fight she would have died. She was still angry she barely got any shots off onto Kaiser. She was angry as she walked off. Kaiser had done her job. Slowly her point of view would be changed from everything was hunky-dory, to more of a survival or the fittest. It would just take some time. OOC- End here?
