Zandra woke up and pushed herself up into sitting position. She sat in her bed, beside her laid her loved one. Zandra smiled at him and slowly whispered in his ear. ‘’Im gonna head out now honey. See you in a week.’’ Then she placed a soft kiss on his cheek before she threw her legs over the edge of the bed. She blinked a few times when she was met by several sunbeams, shining at her thru the window, indicating that the sun had awoken and started its journey across the sky. But still some of the oceanhorison covered the bottom part of the burning star. Then Zandra walked over to one of her shelfs. The shelf where she stored her own potions, those that she used for example when she was out on farming trips, or during boss fights. She picked two of the potions, immediately empty one down her troath.

Zandra felt how her strength increased after consuming the potion. She also saw a sligth shape of her muscles when she looked at her arms. Then she moved a pair of fingers carefully across her teeths. She could feel her theets had sharpened and would easily rip of flesh from bone. Herself she liked that little detail. That it realy showed that the effect had started to work. That was one thing she aimed to do with every of her potions. That it will have some visaual appearance of some kind. Like when she drank her second potion, a dragonscale pattern appeared on the place of her skin that is taking most strikes, like the knees and elbows. She also got a tatto all over her back with the image of dragonscales. She felt across it with a smile on her face. "I think Im about ready soon." She said and walked up to another shelf where she stored her food items.

Zandra scratched her chin as she looked at the different food she had got lately. There was now time to eat. Since thanks to Takao, she would now enhance her strength, thou she will probably be hit much more easy. She also had some food to increase her ability to find things, or in this case, increase the chance to find more valuable thing compared to if she wouldn’t eat it. That would be rely usefull this coming week. Coming week? It would be seven days of rely hard work. She let out a deep sigh. Not only would she do this for seven days straight, she would also do it all alone. Except for her familiar, the golden eagle Zita. When she had decided, she took down the rum. She unbottled it and started to let it flush down her throath. This would make her even stronger, but a little bit dizzy as well.

Next on the shelf was some meat. She took it down and looked at it. It looked pretty tasty. She closed her eyes and moved her nose close to it. Then she made a long inhale. It did smell quite good as well. Well, better to get eating then. She thought and opened her mouth. Then her razorsharp teeths buried into the meat, with a quick pull, she ripped of quite a big piece. She quickly chew it and swallowed. It didn’t took long before all meat had disappeared down her throat. ‘’Mmm… That was good.’’ She said quietly to herself. She felt her alertness, that had been reduced from the rum, now increase. This meat would greatly increase her ability to find things or get the mobs to drop better loot. Or rather, more money. Well, to talk about much money, she now turned to her next piece of food.

Now it was time for some fruit. Rum and meat, they taste very good, thou since you need to eat varity, at least some vegetables. But, probably that wouldn’t be needed in the game. But Zandra felt kinda guilty if she only ate food that tastes good but aren’t that healthy if not eating other kinds as well. So in her hand, she now held a golden apple. She had never seen these back ion the real life. But one of the best, if not the best cook that was currently active in Aincrad. Zandra knew about another pretty good one, thou he had died for several months ago. This apple came from Takao, she didn’t knew how, but in some way he had given the apple a golden colour. Well, it didn’t mattered how, not as long as it worked. She quickly started to chew on it, almost eating all of it, but she left the thing in the middle and threw it on the floor where it shattered into crystals.

There, with the apple eaten, she was all set to go. Well, except one single thing. She took forth a small cup and poured up some herbal tea in it. This would make her calmer, make her more focused on the task she was going to do, to slay as many monsters as she could in one week. It was a rely strong tea, but delicious at the same time. But she was in a hurry, so she drank it maybe a little to fast to rely feel the perfect taste it certainly had. When the cup was empty, she putted it back on the shelf where she had taken it down from. She walked down the stairs and looked at her familiar that was resting on top of one of the lockers. ‘’Zita, time to go now.’’ She said. The eagle opened an eye and looked at Zandra. Then she opened her wings and flew down, landing on Zandras shoulder. ‘’You like that place don’t you?’’ Zandra asked and patted her feathered friend on the head before heading out thru the door, ready for some adventure.

Zandra walked out of her house, closing the door behind her and started crossing the sandcovered beach. She took a depe breath to fill her nostrils with the saltwater smell. It would take long time until she could feel this smell again. So she wanted to suck it all in to remember it as strong as she could. After a short walk, she was at the settlement of floor sixteen and the plaza where the warp gate was placed. She entered the gate and with steady voice she shouted. ‘’Amazon!’’. Zandra and her predator familiar turned into crystals and warped down ten floors. Then they walked out of the warp gate. She haven’t walked more then maybe twohundred meters before one of the tall warriors came rushing towards her. ‘’Hello! Please help us!’’ she walked over to Zandra and told her that there was a huge party of warriors that by some reason had started to attack the citizens of Amazon. Zandra realized there was a task for her here to complete. She nodded and moved out of town.

It didn’t took long until Zandra engaged the first group. She saw four amazon-warriors brutaly killing a few of the citizens by attacking them from an ambush. Zandra immediately activated her charge skill and darted forward towards the enemy. She let her great axe fly thru the air in two long, powerfull slashes, making red stripes on the enemy. She watched as their health got down to lower then half. Thou they was still standing and let a flurry of slashes rain down on Zandra. But thanks to her armour skill, potion consumed and high health, it barely made a difference.

Zandra actually got a little surprised. She had been so used to be able to one hit everything. But these amazon warriors seemed to be increadibly though. This would take like two hits to kill them, and that would mean that the amazon warriors got one turn to attack her as well. Thou thanks to her alchemy skills, her awesome mitigation crystals mitigated almost all damage. She would be able to take quite a lot of hits before being struck down on her knees. Thou now she had a battle to focus on. She looked back at the four warriors. ‘’Time to die little gals.’’ Thou maybe little wasn’t the right word to use, at least not since all of them was almost a meter taller then her. Maybe not a meter, but they was all much taller then little Zandra. She attacked again, but this time the axe only sliced thru air, the amazon had backed away a few steps, they must have been scared from the destruction the porevious blow just dealt. But that meant they was to far away to strike Zandra as well well.

Zandra took another gripp of the axe. This time she wouldn’t miss. She aimed for the warrior in the middle. Probably the ones on the side would be hit by the area effect. So she charged forth again, this time she couldn’t activate her charge skill since that was already wasted. But she swung her axe in two more powerful swings. She saw as they painted additional red stripes on the opponents. And as she looked at their healthbars, they dropped down to zero. A few moments later they exploded into blue and white crystals. And a reward screen poped up. When Zandra saw the amount of col it was on it, her jaw dropped. The numbers showed more col then she had ever made with dagger or whip. This AoE attacks was realy great for farming and getting more money to buy gear, materials or anything else that costed Col.

After the first group was defeated, Zandra left the road she had followed and entered the wilderness. She was prepared to meet any kind of opponent. Thou, as long as it wasn’t able to deal over a thousand health, she was fine. Well, she was fine for now.

After a quarter or so of searching, she found a small camp. There was a campfire in the middle of the camp and around it sat four of the female berserkers. Zandra took a steady grip of her axe and prepared her area of effect attack, as well as her charge skill. Suddenly she exploded forward, the short distance between her and the amazons was travelled in bare moments. The huge weapon swung twice across the group. Even if her attack was powerful and the warriors lost a lot of their health, they was still standing strong and retaliated back on Zandra. But just like with the previous group, their swords did barely anything against the female frontliner.

‘’Hahaha!’’ I laughed right in the face on one of the female warriors. ‘’Seriously. Is that the best you can do? And you call yourself female warriors? There is several players that Ive met that is way stronger then you.’’ That was true, but maybe that was because most of my friends was frontliners as well, and way overleveled the difficulty that the floor bosses was at the moment. One of my friends, he was even getting closer to lvl one hundred. Thou we didn’t knew if there was any cap for levels. But that he would probably find out before too long. But now I had something else to take care of. Rather, four female warriors. Ive already used my charge skill, so now I instead placed my feets away from each others and entered a battlestance. I started to prepare the strongest aoe seord art I had in my arsenal. When I felt it was ready, I letted the system take control of my movement and a few moments later, the female warirors was gone and I was several col richer.

Thou, now the downside with having high aoe sword arts kicked in. A look at my health bar told me that it was time to retreat to a safer place. If I got ambushed again, I wouldn’t be able to defend myself. I would have survived long enough for my energy to recover, but it would take so long time. And time is money. So I headed back to where I came from. As I walked thru the jungle, the tall trees rising high above me, almost covering so you couldn’t even see a piece of the stone roof high above me. That also served as stone floor to the level above me. Yeah that’s right, wonder how tall these trees actually was. Would it be possible to climb them all the way up, and then, touch the stone. That would truly be an amazing achievement. But, not this time.

Another difference I just realised, is that in the jungle, there is often a high rate of moisture. But in here, it was as dry as out on the field on for example floor one or two. On the fifth floor, in the desert, there tohu it was a lot dry then normal. But otherwise, there wasn’t much differences in the natures environment. And thus far, they haven’t met any environment one the floors, that maybe it worthful to get the traveller quest. Except if you gonna do the traveller quest again. Then its pretty good to have it, since you don’t have to worry about the heat, sandstorm or anything else that could happen and made you lose your precious health. That if it is going down to zero, you will get your brain fried. That wasn’t a very welcome thougth. A smirk on my face, after all my training and levelling, there would be needed a lot of damage to fry my brain.

Well, it was needed a lot of damage to fry my brain. It actually was only three players in SAO that had more health then myself. The first was the ultramarine knight. Calrex. Thou he had always been the highest levelled player and non-unique skill wielder strongest. And now he had a unique skill as well. Thou he if someone deserved it. The other, that had second highest, was the scout Takao. I myself haven’t met him that many times. It was one time along time ago. Back then, the two of them had done the avalanche quest. They had also finished of with a little snowfight. I still remembered the look on his face as I poured down snow in his neck. As that poped into my mind, I couldn’t stop a giggle from exiting thru my mouth. Since back then, he had done some serious training and suddenly, he was the second highest levelled player in SAO.

There really was a lot of strong people here in Aincrad. Which of several of them had been on the fronlines much longer then me. I could still remember when I was a little three leveller that almost got killed by one of those little nepents back down on floor one or two. Couldn’t really remember anymore. After all thou, it was over a year ago. Actually, of that I wasn’t certain either. Thou what I was certain of, was that I needs to kill the amazons in front of me. I darted forward and swung my two-handed battle axe, wathing as their healths went down under half. A smirk and I prepared for their counter attack. Four long spears pierced my body, leaving four red dots on my chest. With a smirk on my face, I looked into their tiny red eyes. ‘’Is that all? Pfft, you don’t have a chance against me.’’

The four large womens was trying to protect themselves from my rage, but they had nothing that could save them from my large axe that slashed thru their bodies one by one. After this second attack, none of the warriors had any chance to retaliate before their health had every single bar turned from yello to completely empty. It took a few moments for the death animation to start after their health had reached zero. But then they exploded and once again, I bathed in an ocean of blue and white crystals. A smileon my face as I close the reward screen, felt good that my wallet started to increase in size from each killed group of Amazonians. I scratched the back of my head. With a glance on the energy bar, I realised I oonly would be able to vanquish one more group before resting was needed. So, where are they?

I took a look around, where was the enemy? There was not a single look of them at the moment. Maybe I would take the chance and take a quick search for a dungeon. I did scanned the nearby area. Thou I realise, I had been adventuring for way to short time to already be able to find a dungeon. Better keep on, looking for mobs instead to icrease my wealth. Thru rumors, Ive herd that not to long left until there will be possible to find the unoique skills that after Ssendoms and elruis deaths, had been close to non-existence. As far as I know, there is only three of the wielded by known players at the moment. I so much wish I had one of those myself. Would really make me special. Then, another group of Amazonian warriors appeared. Back to work then. My axe swung thru the air and the Amazonian counter striked. Both of our health lowered, mine way less thou.

But of course, their health dropped way more then mine. They lost a little more then half, while me only lost like, half a percent of the health bar. It was really gret sometimes to be this high a level. To be able to be completely safe. But if I would have been farming on the next floor, that would have been a completely other question. Since here, my mitigation is just strong enough to almost remove their damage dealt on me. Next floor they would be dealing four times as much. But, they wouldn’t be able to deal even a single point of damage if they are dead. So I charge in once again, swinging my axe at the mobs. After they explodes into crystals and I look at the reward screen, my eyes turned wide open and jaw dropped down. Just over half a hundred thousands of col. It was a long time since I saw these numbers. No, I haven’t seen these numbers on my reward screen before, ever.

There we go, now Ive totally wiped out four groups of four Amazonian warirors each. And my rewad for this hunt have already skyrocked. It was just so amazing the numbers. Now, I would be able to buy two houses like the one me and Jomei already had. Of course that would be a huge waste of money. But I could do it. But what I was going to use the col for, was to buy clues of the unique skills when they got released. That would be awesome, to be a unique skill wielder. As Ive herd, the amount of col it costed to buy the clues, was nothing compared to what I now had at my disposal. I could literally buy anything at the moment. Well, maybe not the most expensive guild hall or house on the market. But since I already had a house, that didn’t mattered to me.

About guild hall, me and another player had actually talked a little about starting a guild. Thou, I don’t know exactly how serious she was. It wasn’t as much as a talk, more like a few coments and some jokes. But maybe she was serious. In that case, some of these money would go to their guild hall. Thou if I could decide, the hall would be placed on a floor that they think fits. Not the eleventh just because it is the cheapest. That was exactly what I had done with the beach house. Me and Jomei waited for a nice looking floor to have our hiouse together. It wouldn’t be very romantic to have it on thirteen, with all the dead trees and skulls. A shiver went thru my body as I remembered that Teayre had decided to have her store there, why I didn’t knew. But I haven’t asked since that as not my business.
