Evander sat at a small table in a cafe, sipping his glass of orange juice and looking out the window beside him onto the streets of the Town of Beginnings. Recently, he'd been mainly just lazing around, doing nothing. He knew he had to get up, do something, but soon after mapping out all of Floor Two, he had lost his drive and motivation. Evander sighed. Every single day that passed, he assured himself that he would get going the next day. Well, no more. He was actually going to get something done today. Perhaps he should switch back to fighting with his right hand, change things up a bit from the usual. Perhaps it was the monotony that was getting him down. After he finished up his orange juice, he should probably go fight some boars, warm up again on his fighting. That was a good plan. He downed the rest of his orange juice, and stood up. He materialized the <Anneal Blade>, looking at the light glint off of the dark metal. It felt like so long ago when he had first gotten it. Not much had changed. The clearers had cleared a few more floors, he had leveled up some, but it didn't feel like they were any closer to actually getting out. Evander sheathed his blade. He left a handful of col on the table and walked out of the cafe into the sunny cobblestone streets. Let's see if he could change that.

Shino woke in the afternoon much later than most. The night before was full of her favorite pass time. With the clear memory of the terrified look of her victim's face still in her mind, Shino rose and streatched as far as her virtual body would allow. After popping her joints and choosing to put her day clothes on, she ventured out into the streets of seemingly helpless people. But now wasnt a good time for that. Walking these streets has gotten old to her, she has seen nearly everything there is to offer in the starting city. Faces are familiar and the route she takes is always the same when she is still waking up. Out of nowhere a bright glare shined on her eyes. Naturally she looked in that direction to see a familiar face. She approached her aquaintence and tapped his shoulder from behind to get his attention.

Evander glanced around at the merchants eagerly advertising various wares on sale in the marketplace. People were bustling around, buying goods, selling goods, and it was just a bit crowded. He almost felt claustrophobic in here. Evander dodged around a gaggle of people gathering around some various trinket or another. Well, he supposed that's would he would get when he walked through town square during the busiest hours of the day. Evander scratched his head. This was rather uncomfortable. It would probably best to try to get out of here quickly. A light tap on the shoulder interrupted his thoughts. Oh, great. It was probably some merchant, wanting to pawn off items onto him. He sighed, and turned around. Oh, hey, that was a familiar face. It was his party member, Shino. He hadn't seen her for some time. "Oh, hey, Shino, what's going on?" Well, wasn't this stellar. He didn't mind so much about meeting a merchant any more. A lot of things would be better than meeting the potentially crazy girl again. Then again, he could just be paranoid- after considering his last meeting with her again, there wasn't much proof to point to that conclusion. She liked red flowers, she tried to get his trust through some convincing acts, which would have been convincing had she chosen to do them at better times and places, she loved ramen, and that was basically it. And, also, she didn't want to go up to the frontlines for some reason or another. Not very condemning evidence. But, he had had a gut feeling, and gut feelings were, more often than not, correct. Of course, it wasn't right to be disrespectful or whatever to her just based on a whim, so for now, he would treat her as any other person. "I was just going to head out to go kill some boars. Do you want to come with me? Could be good for some EXP."
