Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) My name is. What is my name? I do not have a name and I have just awoken from the deepest of the slumbers. Where am I? It's dark here. Light? Where is it coming from? I am asking myself too many questions. I must get out of here because the air is too cramped. Let's see here. How can I get out of here? Light - Where is it coming from? Here! I sighed, my hair was a mess and my eyes were dark from a long time without seeing light. And finally, I have awoken. Yet I do not know how I have managed to find myself in the depths of the mud. I stood up, pulling apart the mud above me and sitting up, preparing to be blinded by a large ray of white light that shall soon be exposed to my face. I realized - My name is Aryuna. Aryuna, the assassin. And my solo adventures shall begin right now. My adventures of murder. I am here - Here to fulfill my fate. Edited January 7, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted January 5, 2017 I sniffed, taking in the scent of fresh air and nature, finally able to regain my sense of smell after being suffocated in a pool of mud. A landslide - that must have been what happened. I'm in Sword Arts Online. That is where I am. I must be so behind in terms of level at this point. So, there is no time to get started than now despite the fact that my clothes are contaminated from dirt and mud. However, I feel in peace because of the special hidden bonuses that it might provide me with while being out here in the light. I have decided that most of my missions shall be in the evenings because that I when I can strike in the shadows without anyone. What is my next action? What is my next piece of action? What shall I do from here? All those questions bombarding my brain is causing me a headache and soon, I made the executive decision to go to the first floor and clean up so I don't get attention. I might even grab a few beginner quests as well. It wouldn't hurt for she was in need of great moves in order to catch up to everyone else in this game.
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2017 12:26pm: Starting City - Bulletin Boards So, I have gotten a bit of scouting and I have found a few shops or so that I will be able to use in order to purchase the equipment. I have seen some of the greatest shops in this floor such as "The Blazing Typhoon" which is a blacksmith shop and "Bluebird Workshop" which is an artisan shop, and I will have to find a way to remain hidden while purchasing those items though. So I guess I will have to first find a way to learn more about professions in this game. And that is why I have decided to head out into the wilderness where there is supposedly a witch's hut where I can seek after the profession of an alchemist. The main reason that I have desire for that is so I will be able to place venom on my blades and cause extra damage to my victims. <<The Blazing Typhoon>> has been added to knowledge list <<Bluebird Workshop>> has been added to knowledge list<<Starting City>> is now available for teleportation
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted January 5, 2017 I looked around, noticing that people were coming this way. With a smirk, I hid my hair, refusing to be seen in the daylight without a cloak on. She needed to get that cloak as soon as possible in order to hide her face but she did not simply want a cloak with no effect. She will have to get that situated eventually. As soon as possible. However, she needed a method of payment and that is one of the reasons that she is currently doing this quest. Because from this quest, she will be able to obtain materials that can act as a source of payment. But first. I require some food. With a smile, she jumped up a few ledges and sat on the top of a ceiling that was relatively hidden from the sunlight. If anyone saw me, they would think that I am an vampire. I sighed, taking out a piece of tasteless bread. It didn't matter to me what the food tasted like, as long as I had the food to eat. I am already used to this type of living. Taking a bite out of the bread, I looked up, observing the lively town carefully.
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted January 5, 2017 "So, have you heard about that tailor on the fourth floor? Apparently, he is one of the members of <<Celestial Ascendants>>, the guild that almost every newbie is trying to seek after and join so their stats can improve." That sentence got my attention. A tailor? A tailor would be able to make me the cloak that I desire. Now, I only need to obtain the payment and then I will be able to pay up and obtain the cloak as soon as possible. Already, I am prepared to do whatever I need to do. It sounded just like me to be honest. It was great to be able to move again and it was great to be free from the constraining dirt. I didn't even mind the darkness. I finished off the rest of the bread and made a mental note to check out the tailor shop of the fourth floor as soon as possible.
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted January 5, 2017 2:13pm: Forest around the Horunka Village - Witch Grimore's Wooden Hut So here I am, ready to accept the quest as soon as I walk into this hut. An NPC rests in this hut and I truly do not want to show my face. Perhaps the best option for me would be to kill the witch as soon as I have the equipment to do so. The witch is not a low-leveled NPC and so I would need to get all my equipment prepared for it. I walked into the tiny, pitiful hut for the door was unlocked. It was a lot easier than I had anticipated and as I walked in, the witch looked up from her potion making and observed Aryuna's scarred face. It seems that she will be one of the few NPCs that will see her face. And she will be one of the NPCs that will die to her blades when she returns to destroy all who have seen her face. The witch did not have the greatest of faces either. "Another person seeking for apprenticeship?" She asked.
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted January 5, 2017 "Yes, I am ready for apprenticeship. You are responsible for it, no?" I asked, already running out of patience while talking to the NPC. She talked slow, and quite fitting for an old person. But soon, she shall talk no more as soon as I receive the equipment that is necessary for me to achieve my goals in this game "Yes I am. Watch your tone please. Life is long for you to be able to talk normally. Now, the key part of a profession is to get materials. Go out there and obtain some mushrooms from the forest and keep out of danger." Keep out of danger? That is what I am a professional at. I keep out of what I want to keep and the forest is like a home to me because I am kept hidden here. Nothing can see me, no one can suspect me. I smirked, clicking the accept button and walking out, hearing as the witch spoke one last thing. "Geez... Why are all these apprentices so strange." Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Well, that seals the deal then. Strange equals they have noticed me and that means I must kill them. That is how this world works. I am here to remain hidden, and you have seen my face. It is unfortunate that you have no control over it. However, the unlucky ones die in this game. And soon, I shall have an orange marker on my head. It will be inconvenient for me to go into the safe zone but that will not be required of me when my stats are good enough for me to keep out. I have time anyways. Besides the NPC really cannot disclose information regarding players, how can they do such a thing anyway? No, I am getting distracted from the quest. I must concentrate and obtain as many mushrooms because I have learnt that they turn into materials and can be used to pay for clothes. I don't know how that works but it does. And I am not about to question the game regarding this matter. Edited January 5, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) 2:42pm: Forest around the Horunka Village - Wilderness ID: 73835 LD: 16 Aryuna smiled. I am here to gather materials like a player that I want to be. I am not going to be gathering materials a lot because I will definitely be improving my damage so I can get materials through killing and the such but as a low-leveled player. As low as level one, in fact, I have no such skill at my disposal to be able to kill. I would only be killed to be fair and I would never want that would I? As a rogue, I need to maintain my safety as I would have no one else to rely on and no one else to count on. I bent down and picked up a mushroom. This is easy enough and simple, really. Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) ID: 73836 LD: 5 The people here will remember my name. I shall kill what I need to kill in order to achieve my goals. I will earn my name: The assassin and the people will know the scent of my blade as I strike. Despite my aimless thinking and the aimless task that is ahead of me, I still kept my ears and eyes out in case of anything that might sneak up on a sneaking me. Yes, I, too was sneaking like the rest of the creatures in this forest. I was sneaking in a bush, a pile of bushes to be exact and making sure that safety was assured before I head out and continue on my material gathering. After I noticed that the coast was clear of any animals, I stood up and walked on hurriedly. Materials: 1 Edited January 5, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 5, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) ID: 73838 LD: 18 Another mushroom. These things were coming along quite commonly and I, as a player of this game, will never complain at finding materials easily despite the fact that I think it is quite rare for a player to be able to do such a thing. In the span of about ten minutes, I was able to have two mushrooms in my inventory, ready to be used up in either crafting or equipment. This is what I need in order to be successful and this is what I need to do. If material gathering needs to be done, it shall be done. Even if it takes a long time for me to do it. Aryuna 0 Posted January 6, 2017 Author #12 Share Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) ID: 73894 LD: 13 Not only is this good for the future, it is also quite relaxing for me to be able to walk around random places and seek for materials. It is a relaxing task, one that does not drain my energy. One that does not waste my resources. And it is probably one of the lowest risk tasks in this game. However, I am not one of those players who doesn't want to take risks. I am not someone who is weak. I like to kill and when I have the ability to do so, I shall kill. I shall take the throats of my enemies and destroy them. I sighed, continuing on with my task. Materials: 2 Edited January 6, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 6, 2017 Author #13 Share Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) ID: 73895 LD: 4 Wolves. That is the call of wolves? In the distance, the wolves' calling could already be heard. Night time was near, and night time is the time that I love. Darkness hides motives, hides people, and hides my intimidating face. Darkness is the ideal time to kill, yet it disappoints me that I have yet to stab anything in this game. Yet, I keep calm, for I know that the assassin's worst mistake is to rush into situations without any planning ahead of time. Aryuna 0 Posted January 6, 2017 Author #14 Share Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) ID: 73896 LD: 2 Nighttime. I recognized for the moon was beginning to rise high into the sky. I don't know if the moon always came up this early in the game but I have been walking for approximately one or two hours already. It was refreshing to be in stealth during the night because that is what I love. I engulf the darkness for the darkness is my love and the darkness loves me. Darkness gives killing the possibility of reaching perfection. Excellence can be achieved. It's been a while since I have found another patch of mushrooms. At this point, I would have to return without that many materials. Materials: 2 Edited January 7, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 6, 2017 Author #15 Share Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) ID: 73898 LD: 2 Wolves. Once again, I hear the distant shout of moves and after about twenty or more steps, I heard the sounds once again. Indeed, there were wolves in the distance, and they were prepared to hunt after me. Somehow, they were able to catch my scent and I had to rush into the bushes right after they jump into the open field. I peeked through the holes of the bushes to see if the wolves were of any threat and noticed that there were three in the party. It was quite dangerous to fight them, especially since I'm only level one. If I was any bit stronger, I would not have hesitated to strike the three wolves and kill them as soon as I analyzed my situation. Aryuna 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author #16 Share Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) ID: 73899 LD: 19 Just as I was making my escape, I stumbled when my foot caught on some vines. Luckily, the vines were weak and free from the ground so I when I pulled by foot up, the vines simply came off. When I looked down, I was quite surprised to see that right next to the vine, there was actually a mushroom pile that I can simply bend down and pick up, taking it from the ground and claim it as my own material. At this point, I have three, and it would be harder for me to gather more materials if only my eyes were not already used to the lack of light. Aryuna 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author #17 Share Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) ID: 73900 LD: 5 Soon, I would have to return and finish off the quest. At this point, I can only imagine that the quest giving witch was already running out of patience for my return. She would probably be asleep if I did not take this quest. It's not like I care anyway. I am Aryuna, the assassin, and I do what I wish no matter what I want. The lady will simply have to wait, for I am enjoying the night time way too much and here... I feel like home. I smiled, my eyes gleaming with delight as I saw another mushroom pile in the distance. I would have to get closer though, for I am too far away to bend down, reach and grab the mushroom from the ground. Materials: 3 Edited January 7, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author #18 Share Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) ID: 73902 LD: 1 Soon, I reached the mushroom pile - or at least, what I thought to be the mushrooms. It turned out that the mushroom pile was just a rotten pile of apple. After thinking about it for a bit, I decided that the rotten apples were probably caused by a player who had apple expire in their inventory. I think it's quite the waste to throw all these apples on the ground but it is worthless now and I simply cannot use the apples as materials for me to purchase certain items. I sighed, carrying on and made a mental note to come back to the apples at a later date, for the apples looked quite suspicious to me and is definitely worth further investigation. Aryuna 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author #19 Share Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) ID: 73903 LD: 6 That's it. That's the night's calling. There are going to be no more materials that can possibly come into my hands and so I must return and claim my profession as an alchemist. The lady had waited long enough, for I have tortured her past her 'sleep time'. How pathetic. Oh well, this profession gives me excitement so it does not hurt for me to return and claim the title. I smirked, feeling quite energetic at this time for I usually do not sleep at night. It is always day that I sleep, for the day makes me feel lazy and I do not wish to head out during the day time. The night is my day, and I will sleep as soon as morning hits. Materials: 3 Edited January 7, 2017 by Aryuna
Aryuna 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author #20 Share Posted January 7, 2017 10:03pm - Forest around the Horunka Village - Witch Grimore's Wooden Hut "Grimore, I have returned." I said, walking into the shop. However, I was surprised when I found that the woman was not in the alchemy station or the chair that she had in the living room. I looked around the shop, flipping the place upside down in attempt to find the presence of the woman but my attempt was unsuccessful. Strange, I am sure that the game was not usually like this. It was then that I found a book on the table titled, "Legacy of Grimore" and as soon as I opened it, it seems that the knowledge of Grimore had been transported to me. I feel power, power surging through me. Indeed, I have accomplished my task and now, I am an alchemist with poison that I can use as a tool around me. I smirked, putting down the book and walking out. The witch has died. Death from old age and an alchemy failure which had triggered that death. It was obvious, the spilled glass bottles and the fallen over chair at the end of the chair. But was it really? Was it really an alchemy failure and old age that had caused that damage? Or was it something else? The answer will be discovered soon enough. Sooner than our main character might think.
