[F1-Shop] Non Coup de Grâce [Blacksmith] [Closed]

Recommended Posts

Non_Coup_de_Grace_Sign.png

Deep in the back of the dark and complex alleyways sits a small building one may easily pass if they did not know what they were looking for. Above the door posted into the wall is a small sign with a strange image on it with a name "Non Coup de Grace". Once inside the shop it is rather larger than it appears to be on the outside and housing a wide array of wares displayed around. In the corner sits the forge where you can find "The Masked Demon" hard at work on his next project.

Percival stepped into his small cozy shop and took a deep breathe. "Today is going to be a good day, whether or not we succeed." He began to walk over to his forge and supplies "I have wanted to be a blacksmith for a long time. Now is my chance to prove what I can actually do." He picked up his apron and tools and walked over to his forge. He took out a couple of materials he snagged on his last quest and placed them into the hot flame in front of him.

After a while of waiting the materials began to glow bright and hot. "Lets get started!" He said to himself, grabbing tongues to grab the super heated material.  He lifted the material from the forge and placed it upon the anvil next to him. Placing the tongues into a bucket of water next to him, he grabbed his hammer to begin to work on the material in front of him. Lets try to upgrade my current situation, lets make a war hammer.

Taking a deep breathe, tightly gripped his hammer, and with a focused determination he began to repeatedly hammer away at the material in front of him. After a while of hammering the bright blow began to fade as the material began to take its final shape! After a moment of intense anticipation lying in front of him was a perfect 1 handed war hammer.

Percival inspected the work in front of him. He could not believe what he was able to accomplish "This is a very pleasant surprise! I never would have thought I could make something like this." He placed the hammer upon the counter next to him. He turned around to grab the next material out from the forge, however the material was way to heated and expired before he was even able to grab his tongue's from the bucket.

Placing his hand on the back of his head "Well, I guess that's the learning experience for today. Don't leave your mats in the forge for too long.". Resting his hand down, he walked back over to the war hammer he had made. "At least you came out great." He said as he picked up the weapon and added it to his inventory. "I think that is going to wrap it up for today's excursion. I got a lot of things to do today, and this is going to help me with those."

Percival walked to the entrance of his shop and peeked his head through the door to check and see if any players where near by. With a thankful sigh that no one was in sight, he stepped outside shutting the door behind him. He locked the door and made his way through the city to his next destination.

It was early morning when Percival arrived at his shop to smith a few more weapons. He unlocked the door to his shop, and stepped through the threshold of the door, closing it behind him. With a light hearten sigh, he makes his way over to the corner of the shop where his forge, anvil, and tools rest.

Slipping on his apron "What do we want to make today?". He scratched his head at the thought. "Maybe first a one handed straight sword and secondly a two handed straight sword?" After pondering the question around in his head, he decided to try to carry out the plan. "However, let's try to not destroy the material this time." Remembering the material he accidentally destroyed the day prier. He only had a limited amount of materials, so making small mistakes like that could cost him big time.

Taking his hammer in hand and taking a deep breath "Let's get started.".

With his free hand, he used his tongues to place the material into the forge. After a while of waiting, he grabbed the heated ore, and placed it upon the anvil. He hammered away at the super heated material, and after a while, the metal began to cool and change into its final shape. Looking in anticipation as the bright light began to fade sat a...very dull...one handed straight sword. "Well, at least I can try to salvage it for materials?".

He then placed the dull straight sword back into the forge to melt it back down, but to his dismay the sword disintegrated instead. Let's get this two handed straight sword going."

He arrived at his shop a little later than usual, due to some heavy player traffic in the streets he had to avoid, but was still excited to start his craft none the less.

Once he got inside he followed his usual routine of getting his apron and tools prepared. "What do we want to try today?" giving his head a slight scratch at the open thought. "Lets give it a shot at a dagger first, then we will take a stab at an one-handed assault spear. We might be even able to rank up today if we do well enough!" Excited at the thought, Percival took out the materials needed for the job, and set them on the counter so that they are ready for him once they are needed. "Maybe we can get two weapons out today instead of the one out of two like it has been the past couple of days. However, if it keeps the streak of perfect quality going I don't really mind." Smiling at the thought, he picked up his hammer and began to work on the projects.

"That's a mighty fine spear there." Satisfied with his work he placed it into a nearby display case. "A few more products, and maybe we might be able to open up the shop." That last statement shook him a little. Opening the shop to the public meant interacting with the other players. He would need to be careful who he told about his shop. Shaking his head at the thought, he proceeded to put away his tools and close up the shop for the day.

He proceeded, once he believed everything was in order, to exit and lock the shop behind him.

It was another beautiful day for Percival, and he was excited to get the day started. He leveled up his skills the previous day, so not only can he craft a new type of equipment, shield to be exact, but he can now craft three items in a day instead of his normal two!

He arrived to his shop, unlocked the door, and made his may over to his forge. "We got a lot of work do do" He said as he rested his hand on the forge. Resting his hand back on his side, Percival made his way over to his apron and tools. "Let's get started shall we?" He said putting on his apron. As he got everything situated he though to himself "What did I want to make today? Let's try to make some decent shields. My shop would not be called what it is if I didn't make sure everyone had a good defense." He looked to his hammer in his apron, "I am going to make sure we don't lose anyone on the front line. Starting with their gear. I can do this!". With that Percival laid out his materials, grabbed his hammer, and proceeded to begin working on the three shields.

After a few good smacks, the metal instead of shining brightly to change into an item, rather cooled down and stayed deformed. "Well, I think that was not supposed to happen. I guess I am going to have to scrap it." With that said, Percival throws the deformed metal into the trash.

"That does it for today I guess" He says to himself, wiping his brow wit the back of his hand. "At least I now have a nice new shield." He says to himself patting his back. He then takes off his apron, and begins the closing procedures for the shop. Once he has everything settled, he exits the shop and locks the door. Looking into the sky he thinks to himself, "I will do my hardest to make sure no one dies. Not if I can help it.". He then proceeds to go about his daily routine thought the city.

It was another beautiful day for Percival, and Percival was ready to start his work, however something seemed to be nagging him in the back of his mind. Once he got to his shop, he unlocked the door and stepped inside. Closing the door behind him, he thought to himself "Let's try to make more than one item in a day. How am I supposed to help everyone if I can only make one item a day.". Frustrated he slammed his fist onto the table. "I have got to work harder!" Percival shouted to himself. "No excuses."

With a new fired determination, Percival went to his forge and put on his apron. He quickly laid out the materials he was going to need for the next few projects on the nearby counter. "I am going to try another crack at making three shields again today. This time I am going to succeed. I have to." Picking up his tongues and hammer, he got ready to start the first shield of the day.

Percival was rather embarrassed and disappointed with how his day went yesterday at his shop. "How could you be so irresponsible with your feelings and actions.". He shook his head as he made his way to his shop.

He arrived, having to take a few detours to avoid a few players, and unlocked the door to the shop. Stepping through he saw the small amount of disarray he caused to the inside of the shop, "Well, I suppose I should start with cleaning my mess up." He shut the door behind him and walked over to his apron. He picked it up and put it on, checking to make sure the tools were still inside the pockets. Thankfully they were all there, so Percival made his way over to the forge area to take an inventory of his thoughts of what he wanted to do today. "I would say let's focus on shields again, but that doesn't seem to be working out so well. I guess let's focus on a few weapons today." He thought of the people he met on his travels, and one in particular stood out to him, Bongartz. "He's a one handed sword user, so lets try to make him a sword." He also knew that a great many players liked to use sword based weapons. With that in mind he decided to make two one handed straight swords and one katana. The katana might be a little tricky, since he had never attempted to make anything like one before.

He laid out the materials he needed for the project and tools in hand began to proceed with the crafting for the day.
