[PP-F1] Escorting Nobility <<Easy RGQ>> (Damien, Stryder, + Eatos)

Recommended Posts

Sky looked at the rich NPC they were meant to escort. He didn't really care much about how or where she was. She was just leaning against the wall, seeming extremely casual. He had expected more from a rich girl, but he wasn't to surprised. Shrugging, he nodded his head before answering Naomi

"No thanks Naomi, lets just get your quest done!" He says in a rather energietic but slightly fearful tone. He wasn't to scared, but he knew this could be dangerous. He drew his sword, holding it in front of him. He had always wanted to learn sword fighting. He kept it held, blade pointing away from his 'team'. He looked at Damien, who so far was pretty much the leader.

"How far away is the raid base?" Sky asks, practicing to swing his blade around a few times, making sure not to hit anyone.

At hearing Stryder's response, Damien soon knew the team was fairly set on not eating before going. Besides, food/combat before combat was bad for the stomach. "Ummmm...." Damien thought about Stryder's question about the distance of Tolbana. Pulling up the map on his heads up display menu, he finally responded. "It is not too far for my knowledge, won't take us too long to get there. " "Since you are not hungry, shall we take off?" The NPC seemed surprised that none of us were 'hungry'. Naomi, being a rich NPC, probably would have offered some pretty good food, or so Damien thought. "Indeed we shall!" Damien turned back to his 'team' with a smile, as Naomi and Damien began to walk back down the stairs that went up to the mansion. This should be fun. Or so I hope. Hopefully the party makes this quest a lot more enjoyable, and Naomi is as talkative as the quest said she was. That would break the divide up between us players.

@Eatos Your turn. :)

Eatos was, glad, in a way, to see things were starting. While the thought of combat wasn’t appealing, it was unavoidable. If she wanted to see the upper floors of the world she would have to call ‘home’, what was her other option? The nicer things would be on the higher floors, and in turn, for those of a higher level. Although, despite that, she knew her approach. She would never do a quest that put her in danger. Combat quests, she planned to only take if she had someone, or if she had a level advantage over the enemy monster. Despite how much she wanted to get home, to continue with her real life, the fear of death lingered in the air, the strongest for her.

She looked up, dragging her mind from her mental calculations about how she would live her life in this world, this forced reality, to see the NPC, along with Damien, moving. She placed her Rapier away onto her hip, and jogged to catch back up. Three of them on this quest, what could go wrong?

“This raid base…Tolbana, where is it? I’ve never been outside the town of beginners before, a-at least, not properly at least. Is it close to the pillar?” By pillar, Eatos was refereeing to the dungeon of the first floor. Many of the mechanics of SAO were unknown to her, after all, her experience with MMORPG games was limited. She’d played only one, and she hadn’t gotten very far, although she had enjoyed playing as a healer with her roommates. So while she did understand the use of a boss, a dungeon to find the boss, was one of many in-game mechanics she would have to learn. One way, or another.

So.... they were starting the quest. It was about time he got out to the world more. He stopped swinging his sword, putting it right back in the sheathe on his back. Three of them tackling a easy quest, the enemies, if any, would be weak and simple to beat. He had basic sword arts thanks to his first skill point... not that he had ever had the chance to use the one he can actually use.

He was used to games in general, not really MMO's like this, but he knew enough about it to see how this worked. They would just go to a location, probably a fair while away. He wished that it was an easier walk, but he knew that he had no choice but to tough it out. Once this was done he could explore a little more.

"Also have you ever walked this path?"

I think it's close to the labyrinth... "Yes, I believe it is close to the labyrinth, or so I think. I've never actually been all the way there." Damien then directed his talking to Stryder. "-ish. I have been not to-far on the path for a quest, fighting very weak boar pup mods for materials." Naomi then gave her own response as to the location of Tolbana. "This path that you guys speak of, if you continue straight, well, should lead right to it! Just as long as we do not stray from the path." Naomi gave off a smile as they continued walking, almost to the gates out of town, the way with the path to Tolbana. Damien then pointed at the path, and spoke to his team. "See? That path just ahead!" Damien gave a smile as they walked, and he pulled out his sword for safety. The black and white blade appeared in front of him, his <<Nighthawk>>. It wasn't too strong of a weapon, but Damien felt like it was one that could be relied upon and one that would be rather hard to replace.

Eatos wouldn't lie to herself and say she was carefree, even if, as Naomi mentioned, the path would be simple. Although having two others with her made her a lot more confident than if she would be doing this quest on her own. But, the path was simple. Follow the 'road' and they'd reach their destination, and while part of her hoped that nothing would come of it, the quest had specifically mentioned that low level enemies would be in their way.

Reminding herself of that fact, she drew her weapon. It was only a starting weapon, an Iron Rapier, but it was her own weapon, for now. She had every intention of creating herself a wide variety of blades to pick from, but the starting selection of the Rapier was simple. It was an elegant and beautiful weapon. She was happy with it, but not yet committed, her first pick for skills was combat healing so she wouldn't die in battle...hopefully.

Of course, her interest in her own blade paused when she eyed Damiens' blade. It was not a starting weapon, that's for certain. It was, different, and caught her attention. She couldn't help but ask.

"Damien...What's that blade of yours? It isn't a starting weapon right...?"

Sky's eyes fixated on the sword. Everything said had just gone in one ear and out the other. The sword, with its black and white colors... for some reason.... He didn't know what it was about that sword. Probably the fact that its possible to actually survive here, if somoene has a weapon better than the starting weapon... their going places... hopefully.... It was better then he was doing.

"M..my question is.... where did you get it..." He asked. He had always liked One handed long swords, he had always liked the look of them, and just... well he always had liked them. He was actually a little facinated by them, sure, spears, rapiers, daggers, their cool. But he had always liked the thought of a long sword. Then he realized what had been said earlier, that they wouldn't be to long, which was good. Until he could heal during combat, he didn't feel comfortable being outside a safe zone, where he could get attacked.
