The game recently had a little bit of an update in the loot, this was the first thing that Sey was able to notice. So what he was going to do about it? Take advantage was the natural answer that he would usually take. It was going to be a long day for sure, but he was going to make sure that he got the most that he could. The loot naturally was going to be a little bit harder to get considering the amount of damage that he was able to inflict in a shot or two, but he can handle it now that he grew a little bit higher up in the ranks. Time consumption was the least of worries as long as he used some items to give him an assist. With everything prepared, he was ready to go out and start picking fights with the NPC monsters that were there. The classic of course came first, the low damage dealers to the game. Too basic and nothing worth it to many players, but he dared himself to go and see if he could slay them and get whatever it is they had. They were in groups of four usually, perfect considering the area attack he would be using for the fight. He debated on whether or not he should eat a meal for a moment before shaking his head.

As he approached with the spear, the boars would turn towards his direction and let out snarls from their lips. It does not seem like they enjoyed his company, and unfortunate shame indeed. Regardless, they would have been put to the spear, so it was not like their approval meant too much to him in the first place. Checking to see that his items were still on him, he would nod as he confirmed that his equipment was properly placed on. This time, he kept more of a lucky build sort of equipment set, and while he was not able to rake in all of the loot since he needed to be able to fight, he felt like he had a good amount to be working with. So with this in mind, he would raise his own weapon to the boars the same way they raised their tusks at him. One side of the battle had a smiling snow-haired player, full well confident that he was going to get something good. The other side had four angry monsters looking to rip through the flesh of the player.

The battle begun as the boars would charge at him, trying to get in a strike and use their numbers to gain an advantage, how unfair of them. He however was prepared as he would then leaped back from them, making sure that they were unable to start the battle with such a frisky move. they were good at trapping their victims in a certain area and torturing their health bar until it became nothing but an empty tank. It was a stun lock, making them accept nothing but dead because there was no escape. This also can be used on any level player as well, which made even this floor a little bit dangerous. As he moved back to avoid such an unfortunate fate, his eyes would lock onto them, trying to locate some form of opening for him to capitalize on before he continued the battle. Eventually, he say the chance as they all jumped up to try to pile on him, though they did it at different times. Holding the weaponry in his hand firmly, he'd slash through the chests of the monsters and send them flying to the side successfully, resulting in a good amount of damage being dealt to them.

They were not too happy with that, and their health bars were still in the green zone. This battle was going to take up a little bit of time, a good four or five more hits should do the trick, and considering his energy and health bar, he was able to do so... Just barely. The cardinal was promising a new update, and he could not wait for the day. That would be the day in which he would change into something that promised him a lot more damage, since he was currently lacking in that department. Healing was nearly done, but he was unable to finish off the damage it seemed. Tanking was not so much of a problem either, considering he would have two items dedicated towards doing just that. It was a perfect combination in his opinion. With that, the boars would rush towards him again, attacking from all forms of directions. He held himself down firmly, prepared to retaliate. The pounced all at the same time, making his job easier as all he had to do from that point as swing once, flattening them all out again.

It seems like the world was beginning to reveal the nature of the first floor to him, the boars did not change anything in their tactics, so they were painfully predictable. It wouldn't hurt him to take an alcoholic item with him for the fight, but it was best to hold that off for now since he did not need to get drunk so quickly. Battle Healing currently can heal him for so much, he did not want to press his luck until after the battle. The enemies were still in the green zone, despite two area attacks, seems like he was going to have to slice through them all again, hopefully bringing them to the level that satisfied him. It was admittedly taking far too much time for him to end them all off, and that was not something he wanted to face when it came to facing every mob. It was time to take them down again. They rushed him with highly critical blows, in which he would lash out to them in return with an equal amount of force, the both sides exchanging damage this time around.

They were able to wipe off a good amount of his health, but not so much that he actually had to be concerned, it was easy to regain that health with a bit of rest. His spear lashed through them quickly, and they were then down to the yellow zone. Which one of the two sides were winning again? Of course, it would have been nice to have the mitigation armor he had to lower the chances of dying, but the chances were too low as it was, so it was not really that big of a deal. The boars were still as brave as ever as they decided to charge at him once again, prepared to rip through his health. With a confident smirk, he would raise up his own head and prepare to end them the way they wanted to end him. They were nearly dead, about a good two or three hits should seal their fate. They were then reduced to those low numbers with four more slashes, sending them from the yellow point of their health to the red zone officially, seems like they were dead already.

He was ready to finish the battle. The NPC monsters would lie down on the ground with a massive amount of lashes on their body, showing that they were not taking the hits too well. Still however, they were monsters, and they will persist to kill until the very end. It was how they were designed to work, trying until their very last breath to kill the one that they deem far too close to their territory. With that said and done, he would then prepare himself to finish off the battle with one slash, this time very sure that it will be the killing blow. They were prepared to leave their marks on him when they got to him, probably accepting the fact that they were unable to survive at this point, an unfortunate fate that they accept where as a  regular human would refuse to do so. They did a very good job with bringing him a little bit of concern with the amount of health that he had, but they were going to have to try a bit harder than that. With that said, he would slash through all four of the monsters successfully before ending their lives, receiving a lot of Col in the process as well.

He calculated all of the col that he obtained from this fight, and he would smile to himself when he discovered the amount of col was the exact amount to double the current amount that he had right now. The game made sure that while the new system was indeed harder, it was a lot more rewarding as well. And with the high amount of good luck that he had, it was expected that he would be able to obtain such a wonderful reward. But this was the next part of his plan. While it was indeed true that he was able to get a lot of loot from the mobs, he was able to do them only every now and they. They would slaughter him if he were to try another mob. Fortunately, he ALSO needed to get some materials as well, so with his new gear that he had equipped, he would be able to do just that, using the blessed effect of Gatherer of course. It was nice to be balanced, he can have everything.

While he was unable to find anything at first, he would continue to look since there were some forms of materials around. Well, it was that, and the fact that if he tried again, he would die without a doubt. His evasion item had yet to be made, and he was not looking to let himself die. Even if he had to regain his health in a slow manner, it was better than dying and having nothing at the end of the day. So with this, he would continue the hunt as his health was slowly being raised up. All of the col he obtained within the last drop was something huge for him, it was definitely enough for him to buy a lot more materials from perhaps a scout like Itzal. The snow-haired player did not really feel like hunting too often, since that in itself got a bit boring. He did it now so he had something to do in the meantime. The bad part about it was not being able to find anything when you want to. More annoying if anything, since your hopes are up, just for them to be crushed into little pieces.

This was not going too well for him, so he did have a few options. He could go back and start fighting the enemies the best he could with the little bit of health that he had, an already suicidal choice to make if he ever heard of one. Or perhaps he might jump into a fight if he were able to find someone around here. Somehow however, he felt like that was not going to be the case. Turning around and looking for a few players, none were near him. When he opened up his friends lists, none of them were on the first floor out of the twenty floors in the game. So what was the next step to take? The other option was to just to hope that something good could come out of the material hunting, which of course, was not the case. The third case would be to go a bit smaller than that, try to take down a boar one at a time. The problem was energy and time, the lack of col that would also be obtained in the process. It would just not work.

There were a few more materials located on the ground, a few berries to be plucked, and so he would take them before placing them into his store inventory. Seems like he has a part of a day now. Sweet, there was a lot more for him to do. At this point, buying the materials off of other people honestly sounded like a very appealing idea. Considering the amount of health he had right now though, he would go back to focusing on getting the berries for his shop for the moment before he can go out for battle. It seems like he was only going to get to fight two mobs before eventually running away from the premises, showing that he was not going to get too much col out of this at the end of the day. Still though, it was enough to buy him some things. In fact, he felt like he was able to survive another attack of boars if he placed on his armor. All he had to do was get a bit lucky. And that totally checks out.

With that said and done, he would proceed to change into a different bit of gear. His loot chances were going to be far lower without a doubt, and that would again be excused with hopes that he would be lucky. If he did, that would be a perfect result for him. So he would change into the Memorilia armor at the cost of the Hecta's Bliss coat. This would show that he was going to take a few hits... At the cost of the items that he could potentially get. It was a little bit of a bite towards him, but the fact was, he wanted to live at the end of the day. And if he was taking far too much damage, he was going to make an attempt to escape from the scene and run back towards the safe zone. An airtight plan without a doubt, nothing could totally go wrong with it. With that sad and done, he would approach another four more boars, getting their attention, preparing for battle.

-Changed Hecta's Bliss Coat (+3 LD) for Vanguards Blessing (+54 Mit).

They would snarl at him, looking to lash him to pieces. There was not so much of an advantage for Sey in this case unfortunately. The most that he had going for him was how his body was able to gain a little bit more health just simply because he was in combat. The mitigation will definitely soften the blows from the monsters, but his luck can only stack up so much before he eventually ran out of it. Would today be that day though was the question. The system was making this a rather intense exchange, but if he won this, he can make a really sweet amount of loot off of this battle alone. But doing so would require him to be careful. If he was able to dodge enough hits, he might be able to live though. It was all up to the numbers of the game. He breathed as he tried to take it all in, he was a risk-taker, and this was EXTREMELY risky for the game. They rushed, he braced, he swung, they all flattened. They were not going to get to him if he had any control over it.

His health was quickly rising thanks to him being in battle, giving him a glimmer hope that he would be able to escape this game. But it was not over yet, he still had a lot of things to do. Placing his spear forward, he would prepare to slash through them again if they dared approach him. Now that he had been seeing things in the darkness for a little bit, he thought a bit more about the light. If he was able to not even take a single drop of damage from this exchange, he was able to obtain a lot of loot from this as he can then fight four more monsters. His health would be about 75% full at that point, which would be about three or four hits that he had to take in order to be able to live at the end of the day. Perfect plan in his opinion, but it was also a long shot, so he was riding on a lot in this instance. He braced for their next attack afterwards.

The longer that the battle goes on, the far worse that he would be off. In the last wave of the boars, he took a lethal amount of damage, nearly sending him to the red zone. In the next round, if he was not so fortunate, he would definitely be in the red zone. Sey would like to ride on 50-50 shots and chose to continue the fight. However, he was not going to stick around after one more hit. "It seems like you all are really going out of your way to piss me off." the snow-haired player would tell them all, snarling before he would pounce at them this time, trying to get revenge for the massive amount of damage he took. Fortunately, he was still alive after the barrage that he took from the last time. But he can only be so lucky so many times. Like he said before, it might run out if he pressed it too hard.

It was not looking too good for him, in a desperate attempt to save himself, he would launch a Bella song in order to heal some health. The song had a nice mix of electronic and a bit of orchestral and waltz as well, a unique song as well. The really low health bar he had would begin to drive right back up, the way it should be up to the yellow zone. Sey was not too sure if he would have lived without it or not, but he desperately needed it in the first place. With that said and done, he would hold up his spear once again, prepared to engage with the boars for a little bit more, a merciful item saved his life at this moment. There was no doubt that he would go back to the shop Itzal was in and get a loooot more songs that helped him with healing. It was definitely needed. With that, the enemies sprung once again, and the snow-haired player was ready for them.

He was able to slash through all of them quickly and made sure not to get hit! That was a lucky break indeed. Had he gone a little bit further the wrong way, he would end up being nothing but a bunch of stupid crystals of light. His health was successfully still there though, and he was very much grateful that it was the case. The boars were about to pay mightily for what they had done to him. He was able to narrowly avoid dying in this round, now it was time for him to get the heck out of here when he sliced through them all again. They would charge back at him, ready to ram through him with their tusks. He was about to return the favor, charging back towards them as well. And naturally, only one party will be getting out of this alive. It was Sey, naturally, but only after both of the parties exchanged some damage between each other, resulting in one of them at a low health, and one of them at absolutely none.

It was finally over, the battle with the  boars had been finished and he was left with just BARELY enough health to make it back to the safe zone. There was no more time to be wasting around this area, he was better off going home. So he would proceed to do so as he would charge to the safe zone. It was a very brief but long run at the same time. It was done in a short amount of time since the snow-haired player REALLY did not want to be there, but it was a long distance to be covered in a short amount of time. If he were to stick around any longer, he probably would not like the following result to occur right after. So he would proceed to make his way back into his shop before any more of the enemies were to arrive. The day was definitely a success, but it may as well have been a failure at the same time. He did not get the exact amount of col he would have liked. Oh well, he got away.

Sey made it back to the safe zone, meaning that the game allowed for him to live for another day. Looks like he made it out freely and safely, no longer needing to fear the monsters outside of the game. Of course, he needed to get back into his shop to prevent himself from being forced into a total loss duel and killed on the spot. There was no way he would be sleeping too well this night, but in his opinion, the money was definitely worth the hunt. And he will soon get to spend it all soon, which was another plus for him. Maybe he could get himself a real nice house, and in doing so, he would be able to satisfy himself and all his needs. For the heck of it, it could be right next to his shop, so all he would have to do was wake up and then go right to work. but still though, he did not have that much col yet, though he was definitely getting close to it.

He would then enter inside of his shop, locking the doors before then pushing on them to make sure that they did not open. His health was slowly recovering, but just to be a little bit safer, he would go under the lounge couch and check to see that no one was there. Kooh was unable to player kill him with her stats anyways, so it was fine to let her go without any questions asked or anything. Perhaps Sey was just a little bit stressed after that fight, but he was very close to dying. Any further and he would have been made into mincemeat by the game, just the way Kayaba had been wanting for things to be. An npc monster taking the live of those who want to escape, that was just not fair. Still, he lived for this day and made some profit as well, and that was what mattered as the end of the day.
