Frenzied, it began burrowing into the ground, earth and sod flying through the air as it tunneled below the ground. It came up right underneath Kane, trying to gore him from below! --------------------------- Kane managed to backpedal out of the way as the boss monster came up through the ground in front of him. He swung at the creature's neck with a mighty stroke; with luck, he'd injure it severely! ------------------------ The creature was hit by the blade, but just the tip, drawing another thin red line across its neck, along with tufts of fur. Kane didn't know where it was, so he moved around rapidly, trying to throw it off. Right below him, it sprang up again, trying to grab him by the leg! ------------------------- It grabbed him by the leg and tossed him hard to the ground. Feeling a rage that he was familiar with, he raised his immense blade high, yelling at the top of his lungs as he charged the Minotaur! ---------------------- He slashed the Boss monster's face, causing it to roar loudly! It swung the mace around in a wide arc, once again trying to spike him through the skull! ------------------ Its mediocre swing netted it no gains, the mace bouncing off of Kane's blade as he parried it. Holding his blade aloft, he leapt through the air, attempting to use the glowing blue blade to slice the monster in two! -------------- The Minotaur dodged, moving with a speed born of desperation. Kane 0 Posted April 25, 2014 Author #74 Report Share Posted April 25, 2014 The creature backed up, then picked up a loose boulder from the battlefield and hurled it at Kane, attempting to crush him under the weight of the immense rock! ---------------- The rock would have killed Kane outright if it had hit him in the head. His mobility was hampered at this point, so he drew two of his remaining throwing daggers. Charging <>, he hurled the knives at the Minotaur, letting the system guide his throw. -------------------------- The maneuver worked like a charm! The daggers hit the mace head at different angles, knocking it from the Minotaur's grasp and disarming him. One of the knives did a lucky ricochet into the Minotaur's eye! Ripping the knife out, it suffered another point of damage as it charged at Kane in a blind rage! ------------------------- Kane was able to easily sidestep the charging Minotaur, preparing his own counter. Kane roared with fury as he assaulted the Minotaur, raising his blade and channeling emerald light through it. He whirled and stabbed, aiming for the creature's heart! ---------------------- He barely was able to get a shallow stab on the creature's torso, the blade poking a hole in its torso.
