Activated once every two full rotations. The creature whirled and lifted off from the ground, careening towards Shield. He attempted one last strike to try to take the wind out of the scorpion's sails, but it bounced away once again. As soon as the first of its many limbs crashed into the shield, the whole thing turned a bright, shining white that pierced through the gloom of the floor before the shape gave way to a shower of glowing shards and then nothing. Shield pulled back his mask, flopping back onto the dirt with his eyes closed, heaving a sigh that racked his entire body. As he opened his eyes, he started, flinching away from a face that he had not expected to see. "Ali?" he shouted in surprise, backing away to give himself space to breathe. "Well met once again, my friend," shirped Ali, straightening up and stepping back to stand beside his brother. This was unexpected. Shield had not expected to be confronted about Morgiana's absence so soon. "You managed to get all the way here." Ali looked around the asked with a puzzled expression: "But where's Morgiana?" "I... thought she was with you," Shield found himself replying, unsure of what else to say. "Ah she'll get here," Ali said, ignoring Shield's confusion, as an NPC likely would. "Now how about we take a good look inside. I've only been here once with Cassin but we we're found out by the Thief King and we didn't get a chance to explore it all." With that, the Quest Ending Window popped up in front of Shield, displaying his hard earned, if not ill-gotten rewards.
