Ruby 0 Posted July 17, 2017 #1 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 After with her encounter with Kooh, Ruby had successfully gotten herself back to the main settlement of the floor and spent as much SP as she could into Martial Arts... at least all but 1, she needs a little more experience with the manner to achieve Rank 5, and she knew the perfect way to do it... the quest Long Live the Queen, she has no idea how she actually made it to level 40 without taking quests... matter of fact the Breaking the Unbreakable was her first one... she shook her head, maybe she should instead be proud of this achievement that she actually managed to get to Level 40 the way she did which was just getting with a bunch of parties and being their healer, it was a pretty boring time, but now she can worry about getting herself more Damage roles. She can finally carry herself through the game without the need of getting with a party. Link to post Share on other sites
Ruby 0 Posted July 17, 2017 Author #2 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 She had opened her menu's and looked at her skills and inventory and such... she figured could try to find some materials while she was out and about so she could get equipment as quick as possible since its very odd for a level 40 to have no form of equipment at all. She also needed to try to find some more col while she is at it, she really really needs this equipment so she can progress through these quest's easier. She shook her head, now was not the time to think about these sorts of things she needed to find her way to the boss that players had talked about. Sure... it was for smaller levels, however since with her lack of equipment, she's gonna have to rely on this pair of vanity hand wraps to even get anywhere... all she can do is hope to god that she can bet through this boss no problem and see the light of day in the next few moments. Ruby 0 Posted July 17, 2017 Author #3 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 Ruby had made her way out of the main settlement once more to head out towards where the Queen was stated to be, the easy variant at least... she had heard that bosses around us from the past have seen a new form and their evolution bosses have been told to be pretty difficult that their previous variants. She shook her head as she didn't want to worry about that boss for a while, in order to defeat that boss she's gonna need some form of equipment first. Before she had knew it she had made it to the location and she looked around, and of course... she couldn't find the thing, for a good minute she had thought after the revival of the boss that the old one doesn't exist anymore, however that theory was quickly proven false as the Wasp Queen had tried to move behind her and attack her from behind, however Ruby had caught it in time and moved out of the way of the wasp's stinger... Ruby 0 Posted July 17, 2017 Author #4 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 Thus the battle had begun and she had watched the spiratic movements of the Wasp Queen as she had flown through the air here and there and everywhere... much like a bug in the real world except more... small than this. This bug was exceptionally HUGE and it even gave Ruby the creeps... however she shook her head, she was not going to let something like this get to the best of her. While in her thoughts she was stung by the Wasp Queen... and while she would say it did hurt, more so to her HP she didn't get to feel a thing due the pain restrictions. Ruby's arms had glowed a darker red as she had jumped up and punched the Wasp Queen as hard as she could at the weak points... and wouldn't you know it... she had one shot the poor creature. Ruby blinked twice, then stood from her victory and said "Well. She continued walking forward and thought to herself for a moment "Well... what do I do now... I guess I could spend some time finding materials after meeting the quota's for Martial Arts." that being said she knew that she wasn't going to do any more fighting today so she had put the last point of SP into the skill. She had felt very accomplished in doing this... she finally got a weapon skill grand mastered so she can defend herself and push her forward instead of relying on other players to get things done for her. She had looked around the area to keep trying to find some materials, so far she had gotten some lady luck so hopefully this area will contain some more useful materials that she can use. And after a bit of searching it had seemed that she had found something worth while but she had turned the thing around and found that it was decaying and gross. Ruby let out a squeal as she tossed the item forward before it exploded into white crystals stating out "Ew! Gross! Screw this spot!" she then marched forward anywhere but the spot she had been at currently. Ruby got onto her knees and moved her hands through some of the plants that held cotton, some picked... and some of the cotton's durability is going away so it was going to break before Ruby could even use the damned things. She looked very thoroughly through the cotton plants and eventually found!... nothing. Ruby grinned and got up brushing her hand on her knees and moving into the field of cotton plants to hopefully find some useful cotton... making a plushy sounds more and more desirable lately. She wants to make some form of plushy, she doesn't know of what though yet. Ruby 0 Posted July 18, 2017 Author #8 Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 After walking into the cotton field she took the environment in for a moment... it truly was hard to believe that a game like this was exactly that, a game. She had smiled, she never really got to appreciate the environment till now... its like a breath of fresh air... she had been mostly slaving over parties needing their healing since day one and never got to be by herself and do her own quests and be well... independent. She's really glad she had gotten up to this point. Despite this game being a death trap, it was very beautiful in a interesting way, we are all 1's and 0's in this Virtual World, almost living our own new lives... and its not so bad. Out of the corner of her eye she had seen a piece of cotton with a golden glow... which only means one thing... its a perfect quality! And after a bit of searching... well, she didn't find anything of use. She had let out a sigh, she knew it was too good to be true to find another good material with another one, like the saying goes "One bad apple can spoil the bunch" she supposed. It was a blessing that she even got to find one material from this all. She had looked around, there was a lot to this field that she could check... however she doubted in her mind that she would spend the rest of the day looking for materials from this field. She couldn't wait another day without being a tailor, she had spent the last two years being in Aincrad just in a party of players gaining EXP and not doing a damn thing about her excitement towards the profession she really REALLY wants. And after those thoughts she had gotten herself excited again... dang it. She spent the last few moments thinking into space on what she was going to make first... the plushy she really wants... a piece of clothing want. However in between those thoughts she had eventually found another piece of cotton that she could use. Lucky day! But it was so unreal that again, this was just a game, she never really got to spend a moment to realize how beautiful this world really was despite it being really dangerous. She smiled and looked back to the cotton and continued to look around for another material that she could use... unfortunately she couldn't find another one that she could use. "What a shame..." she thought to herself with a grin, however she had just stood up and moved to another spot to continue looking, it was that simple. And to how simple it was it had also felt... tedious. Something about this was just a endless task that also wasn't fun. However she couldn't find another that was good enough, majority of them had either been ripe, already picked, or its durability was going short. She had let out a sigh and stood up and went to move to another location, of course she did spend some time before getting to the next spot to enjoy the atmosphere around her. She loved to see something like this, and then thought to herself that there was no way in hell that she could find another sight like this on earth... or rather the real world. She had let out a sigh as she knew she needed to get back to work on finding these materials, she had tore her eyes from the view that was around her and looked upon the plants that was before her and began to look for any form of cotton that would be of any use. And of course, Ruby did not find anything that she could use... She began to wonder how long development actually took to create this world... now, typically games take months, heck even YEARS to make. And simple games that had pixel art arguably the easiest ones to make take such a long time to make, and to perfect their game... it must have taken longer. She looked around, there was no way in hell a simple team could have made this game, simply put... a lot of people must have been hired to make this game, heck she would even believe that they had hired more than video game developers. Ruby 0 Posted July 19, 2017 Author #15 Report Share Posted July 19, 2017 Back to her thoughts, she would whole-heartily believe that hired hundreds of people to create this game, scientists... other professions that could help out the progression in this game. It was simply a marvelous thing to think about, all the detail placed into the game... all the different things into the game, its just a lot to fully take in. And Ruby never really got to think about it till now... she has just come to accept that she hates but really loves this world and what people can do in the world. However, back to finding some cotton she had looked around and yet again she had found a piece of cotton that looked seemingly okay, and as she had picked it up it had been black and decaying away, she slapped it out of her hand and broke it "Eww! Not again!" she had exclaimed out as she leaped backwards and started to walk a different way. She had let out a sigh as the amount of materials she actually found today was rather... slim at best, but to be fair and in her own defense, she has no equipment or skills to even find the damn things... so she was giving herself some credit in actually finding at least 3 materials today. But she wanted to at least find one or two more... she just needed these materials to get herself closer to opening that store she really really wants. However she had a thought in her mind if she really wanted to be a tailor or to help out the cause and make potions and crystals... the decision was hard, and she is sure she'll go back and forth between the two when she takes the actual quest... however, she wanted materials either way she went. The sun was beginning to set which means that Ruby has very limited time left in the day. She shrugged though, she made remarkably high progress today: She defeated a boss on her own and managed to grand master Martial Arts, she managed to find a couple materials on the way, and started to enjoy the scenery around her, there wasn't much that could actually ruin her day... other than a rude guy or female she supposed. However she wanted to spend as much time as she could as the sun was still up to find some more materials... and fate had rewarded her with another material! It was a shame that a bad material could ruin a lot of the surrounding ones, she could have picked at least a hundred materials if it weren't for the bad ones infecting the rest of them. However she was determined to find at least one more with what little time she has left. She does want to head back to the main settlement before it gets too too dark, she doesn't want to get intercepted by a monster she didn't see and then accidentally die... that would the thing at the bottom of her list that she wants done. And with a little bit of time...! She fell for one of those traps where it looked okay, but revealing it showed that it was decaying away. She threw the cotton piece far away and then yelled out "Screw this!" she growled then stomped her way out of the fields and onto the trail back to the main settlement grumbling all the way back exclaiming how she is terrible at this sort of thing and she doesn't like trying to get materials at this sort of rate. She knew that she would need more items before she can efficiently get any form of materials for the future. Around this time she knew she would find a lot of players around or at least a couple, and there was players around this time of day. She didn't really talk to anyone though, she mostly just kept to herself till she could make it to an inn. Once she had made it there she had gotten a room to stay in, as she had made it to her room she immediately fell backwards onto the bed... she was feeling somewhat exhausted and just wanted to get some shut eye for tomorrow. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? More adventures? More cute girls to flirt on? She didn't know but for now... she just wanted to get some sleep.
