Every one of her requests was granted by her rich parents, who had close ties to Kayaba. This led to Kotone becoming absent-minded. She was bored with everything. Kotone's attitude started to affect how she did in school, in which her parents showered her with tutors. In 4th grade, Kotone had accidentally fallen into the school pool, but she didn't know how to swim. That was when this one girl, Setsuna, saved her from drowning and pulled her out of the pool. For the first time, Kotone actually felt emotion about something. Kotone started to stalk Setsuna, following her aound everywhere. When Setsuna said she would get SAO, Kotone asked her parents for a copy of the game, she received one right away. She didn't even care that she was trapped in the game. Virtues: Focused: Kotone sticks to her goals better than glue, to the point of making others jealous. If she wants to train, that's exactly what will get done, no matter how much it takes. Nothing distracts Kotone from her goals, except for her stalkee. Her focus mostly comes from her absentmindedness. Crafty: Kotone has a wide imagination, which she almost always uses. She can plan great surprises, whether they be good or bad surprises. She had taken art class most of her life, and her teacher always told her to think outside the box. So that's exactly what Kotone did. Deceiving: Kotone is great at deceiving others, especially at acting innocent. She is great at gathering intel on others, which she had used many times before in the real world. She can be known to follow one particular person everywhere they go, getting super clingy. She even got the game just to follow one person. Absentminded: Kotone can be very absentminded at times, and that means just about everywhere. She can be fighting one second, then forgetting where she was in the first or why she was fighting. Along with this, she has the inability to detect sarcasm, taking everything literally. Isolating: Kotone can be known to seperate herself from everyone else, almost purposely making herself a lone wolf. Kotone likes to be alone, but at the sams time doesn't, constantly contradicting herself.
