[F2-SP] Strength taken into your own hands <<Breaking the Unbreakable>>

Recommended Posts

Cassius waved at the NPC at the inn as he made his way through the town of beginnings having a friendly face and waving to the people as he paces them. However, on the inside Cassius can't help but wonder what idiots and weaklings he is forced to be surrounded by. Not even people worth taking to his side to be of use for certain. None of them are worthy since they are to scared to even get out of the town, but Cassius had a different plan then to sit around and do nothing. While people fear and cower he had spent his time learning everything that he could about this game. About the skills that are attainable. Listening to the stories that spread throughout the town, and the struggles that people are facing. This is what he had spent his time doing in this game as others cowered and feared. Cassius looks to his inventory and grinned as he equips his heavy armor, but not his weapon since their is of no need yet. As he equipped his heavy armor of choice it is gauntlets. The gauntlets being black with little spikes where the knuckles are. Along the gauntlets are red scarlet in a intricate design that it if it ever got stretched out to be a flat image. The image would be the symbol of a a sword and shield clashing.

As Cassius spotted the teleporter he made his way over to it and once upon it he looked at this despicable town of weaklings and says the words. Teleport Urbus.

Once the words were said by Cassius he had felt a sensation that he had long grown use to by this time. Having been familiar with the sensation of such a thing after having teleported to the floors over and over during the duration of the months before the start of this game and now. With this Cassius had gotten use to the sensation of teleporting around the floor, and had learned of spots where players usually hangout, or where quest locations may begin at. Now that Cassius is armed with this information he is ready to apply it to his use of gaining the first few steps to building what is needed. Once he looks around after the sensation stops he sees the peaceful town of Urbus and just nods his head then makes his way towards the mountain where this quest is meant to begin at. Their is only the matter of traveling the space between this safe zone and the mountain where this quest is meant to be had. However, with the route he had seen other players walk towards this quest he now had a safe estimate of where to go to avoid monsters to acquire the martial arts skill safely.

Cassius makes his way through the settlement looking at the architecture in a rather old fashioned area like this floor is capable of. Cassius looks at he building, and grins a bit wondering what else this Cardinal system is capable of producing for the players of this game. Their is only the time to see where it will develop, and how he can use this Cardinal system to his only benefit. However, even Cassius knows that the abuse of the Cardinal system isn't possible while being trapped within here, but once all the players escaped the Cardinal system will be left for the taking. In what better hands could it fall then someone who would know how to use it properly like himself. With that system in his hands he will forge a proper world where he will rule as king, but before all of that their is the matter of becoming the hero of this little story of Aincrad. Once that is accomplished the rest of the world will kneel to him in one way or the other. Their is just the process needed to take over the smaller systems of control which will then topple the bigger authorities. What is a better starting place then the players in this game all so vulnerable and scared. Just eager sheep needing to be led by a proper mind, and guiding hand. With such willing sheep at his side this would be rather easy to take over the more famous guilds that have risen. Celestials, Blood Knights, Azure Brigade, Sovereign Union, New Dawn. All will fall and die eventually it is only a matter of time till they topple into nothing, and for himself to pick the pieces that will be left over from the fall.

I make my way through the town as i follow the path that i have seen all the other players had taken to get to this quest. Just following the steps of others that had so kindly been of use to him without even knowing. I follow the path through the city moving between alleys towards one of the exits of the town prepared to do what he had heard is a rather tedious process. To destroy a object called the unbreakable won't be an easy task for someone his level, but it isn't impossible since every quest is designed to be beaten one way or the other.

Cassius makes his way towards the northern exit of the town to make it to these fields that are known to be a safe haven for players, and a wonderful meeting place for events. A good place to keep in mind for future recruitment of players towards his side when the time is right. As he makes his way through the town he observes the NPCs and players as he keeps the fake smile and kind hearted look on his face to hide his true emotions of indifference, and apathy to all these things. They are just programs in the terms of the NPCs just things that don't have any true feelings, so they don't deserve pity and should be put down if they get in the way of true progress of players. Then their are the other players that walk these floors just unknowing sheep who think they are ready to gods, and beasts of legend. Fools who let their strength get to their head, but when in reality they are just humans with the same amount of faults they try to hide away through strength. These were the people that Cassius will use to learn of the latest news through gossip, and learn to use for the bonus of gaining materials and items for best as he can.

Cassius finds himself in front of the exit to the high crossing which should be peaceful since their are no monsters. However, even in this game you have the ones who can't handle this world in one way or the other. Those who decide to kill do to being insane, or even more ridiculous didn't believe Kayaba's warning at the beginning. He had made it clear all who die in this game die in the real world. Cassisus couldn't understand the reason behind player killing, but appreciates that it gets rid of the weaklings who don't know better and will die eventually at some point.

Cassius makes his way across the colorful fields and just keeps a watchful eye on everything. To observe and be careful to observe even the smallest possible chance that something could go wrong, and try to attack him. The threat of player killers are high for someone his level since nobody knows of him yet, so Cassius would go under the radar in terms of missing or living. However, if any player killers decided to attack they would be met with a fight that would end their lives, or they would make a future enemy of the king of the world after Aincrad. Tracing players back wouldn't be that difficult he would imagine. The only difficulty is trying to track the necessary player information before the game, or governments could delete all the files they have on the players. That would require some help from some friends Cassius has in the real world ones who can hack, and with those hacking skills get what he wants which would be the location of people who defy him.

The fields are full of colorful flora, but their are mountains towards this area of the floor which will help get towards the mountain that is needed for this quest. Cassius makes his way towards the more mountainous areas climbing up some hills that slowly increase the slope of the hill that will only increase how steep it is, but it will be worth it when the boulder will be destroyed. Then getting gear will be the next on that list of things to accomplish. Maybe even just getting these professions he had heard about would be useful to graft things he needs to survive.

As he makes his way across the fields the flora slowly fades away to be replaced by ground and some trees that even then become less and less numerous the closer to the mountains Cassius gets. Once near the base of the mountain he looks up and can tell this will be a rather strenuous journey if it wasn't for the fact his game is just that, a game. that means pain isn't real, and that all exhaustion we feel is fake also since it is just the minds of the players trapped within here. As Cassius looks at the hill he starts his hike upwards as he equips his battle axes and uses that to help him keep steady once it starts getting steep enough to worry about sliding backwards. Cassius looks to the top of the mountain and grins enjoying the challenge that a game can provide him while being in this fashion. It just means that it won't make things such a pushover when compared to other games who practically give the player the victory and easy overpowered character at the start.

He continues climbing the mountain wishing to get started with the quest that was planned for all of this. To get this gear specifically to allow him a greater chance in destroying this boulder faster, and to prepare for the climb by using this axe that can dig deep into the ground enough to prevent any backtracking do the sliding downwards. Every step once near the summit being a challenge having to quickly move my axe downwards with each step to make sure Cassius has enough support to make it through the trouble of trying to climb up all of this obstacle. Eventually as the sun gets to be about almost sunset Cassius finds himself at the top of the summit not even panting having thought back against this game's tendency to make him feel exhausted for physical labor he didn't really do. That every action that this body wants him to do is just the brain wishing to mimic real life, but he would not allow such weakness to exist in him since doing that would waste time in his rather busy plan for the preparation of the fall of those Celestial's, and other guilds. All of them just a waste since they clearly don't know the true lesson of victory. To win is to work together under one true leader, but these players have fractioned off and allowed for communications to be quiet. Taking out the smaller guilds would be rather easy since they don't have the protection of the frontliners. Only the imminent death that will be by his fist, or any allies he would make, or even the weak monsters that patrol the floors will finish them off.

Cassius looks at the hut and makes his way over to the hut and knocks on it. The sound of the knocking reverberates from the impact of his metal gauntlet hand hitting the door. Once it opens Cassius look to the old man who is the NPC and sees a quest prompt up as he click the accept button without caring that much. Who would travel this far to just hit no and leave? Ridiculous thing to have that prompt for this quest. Once Cassius hits accept the quest begins as the old man tells him to paint whiskers onto his cheek that he can't get rid of till the end of the quest. I'll make sure to follow those guildlines sir, i'll make sure that they won't ever get washed off during this trial. Cassius says in a polite tone while rolling his eyes internally at such a ridiculous notion of having to paint something on your face during this quest. He can only wonder what ridiculous part of history, or tribal nonsense is happening in this quest. After saying his piece Cassius feels the NPC paint whiskers on his face and leads him to the very large rock, and that he can only use his fists to destroy this boulder. Cassius look to his gauntlet covered hands and grins not hearing any prevention of armor enhancements helping in this. Such a simple game when you use its words to your benefit to increase your own success chance.

Cassius looks at the boulder and knows that the challenge is a lot harder then at first glance. From what he has heard other players say that even though they attack a stationary object thy somehow missed it. Which implies that he shouldn't be surprised if that happens. Cassius gets into position as he stares at the boulder and then moves towards it and swings his armor covered fist at the boulder. However, when the attack hit nothing happens on either side of the attack. Cassius doesn't move back, and the boulder doesn't move. Cassius hears a slight noise come from my gauntlets as he can only assume that is the sign for Heavy Momentum activating which means that counted as a miss. Which means that even when a attack lands it can mean nothing and do no damage at all. Cassius nods his head having not heard of that before for other players, but it seems that collecting information for anything can not be the full story since their is always more to learn. However, when their is a moment to take the chance you pounce on it.

The challenge of this is not in the landing of the attack it is how you strike the boulder. To strike a object that is more solid then a punch won't get you anywhere if you just punch it over and over. Their is only success in looking for a weak point, and then abusing that weak point to win. That is how video games work and that is how he will handle this situation since this is just a game like everything else in this just another mechanic that can be used to get what you desire. Cassius scans the boulder for any notable weak points running his hand along the surface of the boulder looking for any crack in the boulder. If their is even a small structural low point the boulder could fall from repeated hits to that area. Cassius grins finding a point of the boulder that seems more unstable then the rest. he takes a step back and grins his hand tightly and then swings his fist as it hits the boulder's structural weak point as small cracks start forming as Cassius looks at the health bar that already has a noticeable dent in its health. Seems like those players were just a bunch of weaklings like i have thought who just made things sound worse then what they are. Seems like even in game people can't stop being useless in their descriptions of events. Cassius says in a annoyed tone of voice with a shake of his head before gazing back at the boulder with his red colored eyes.

Cassius looks at the weak point that has opened up from his initial attack and nods once more as he gets into position and punches the same spot once more with his gauntlets and watches as the boulder of the health only decrease by barely a noticeable margin. He sighs in frustration seeing where the annoyance of this quest comes from now. Minimal damage means a lot of time spent here punching a boulder over and over. Seems like a test of patience to see who are truly worthy of practicing this skill everyday. Everyone who quits don't deserve this skill after all they failed their is no second tries. Cassius says in a slight amused tone at the stupidity, and weak nature of humans to just forfeit in the face of adversity. Just another trait he would have to make sure his followers don't ever have, and to make sure if their was nay to weed that out of them to make sure they become worthy warriors at his side when it comes to take to those frontlines, and to show these weak current warriors what true power means. They have all become blind through their problems they have faced it is time for a new generation to rise, and to get rid of the current hierarchy.

Seems like the plan to attack the same point of the boulder had been working good so far even if the minimal damage done the second time wasn't really worth it. However, some damage can be better then no damage at all. Cassius looked at the point that needed to be attacked he quickly throws a right hook to it, but from the fact that a humm is heard, and the health didn't budge informs him that the only thing he gets from his effort is a heavy momentum activation. Cassius nods his head at the very least since no matter what he will always get a bonus for when he attacks or hits. The more power their is behind each strike the better chance their is to destroy this boulder faster. He looks over the second floor and grins as he can't help but feel like a king while up here. Being so far up from the floor looking down like a king upon his peasants being such a wonderful feeling while being up here. The only disappointing part is that no matter what do to this being part of the a quest it most likely wouldn't be a place to build a home or shop. However, at the very least their will be similar locations in the future to make a perfect home at. One befitting of Cassius' future status of king of this world, and whatever world that will be built through his use of the Cardinal system when he gets his hands upon such a wonderful thing. It is only a disappointment he can't send messages from within this game, or he would have people already messing with this Cardinal system to replicate or break it to try and free him faster.

Cassius looks at his nice little gauntlets and grips his hands into tight fists. Taking a deep calming breathe he then suddenly lashes out for a attack punching the boulder in the same weak point, and from what he can tell of the health it is at four fifths of its health that remains. Good progress definitely being made through the help of these gauntlets it seems like. Cassius can only grin at his own well developed plan once again proving itself a benefit in the end through how well it goes in this. Every little bit of what he had chosen being for a over all plan of what his build was going to be. A martial arts user, so why get a DPS build when my only weapon will be my fists that idea of anything else seeming rather foolish in the end. Just a waste unless the production is that of gear from a actual blacksmith. Otherwise the weapon may as well be merchant sold junk, and even then it is almost certain going to be thrown away since it serves no purpose for anyone.

Cassius checks the time as he realizes that at the pace he is going at that he might be here all night. He looks around the area and figures that sleeping on the ground couldn't be that bad. Their might be discomfort in the morning do to his mind betraying him into make him feel fake things that shouldn't happen since it is just his mind in here, and not his body. Therefore soreness and discomfort shouldn't exist. He shakes his head and focuses back on the now as he observes the boulder taking another breath in and then striking the boulder as hard as he can at this moment of time as he watches the health just tick ever so slightly and just figures that unless he gets lucky in his mix of attacks landing and missing this could take awhile to ever get out of this quest. However, the end goal is worth it to use one of the better two handed skills from what he is able to tell. It is just a matter of making sure the perseverance is worth it in the end. That a person doesn't quit halfway or the trip and damage would be worthless. However, such weak willed people do live in this game, and their fate is already set for them. To become a scratched off name.

Cassius goes over to the spot he has been punching this boulder at and notices their are small cracks starting to form. He nods his head seeing that even in game things will fall and crumble like all once it is given enough force to start doing so. Not even this supposedly unbreakable object this game hypes it up to be can withstand the will and determination of one man. The man who has the patience to wait for all else to fall since Cassius is sure he isn't the only one with the agenda to see these guilds fall. People crave destruction and ruin so their is only the time to see who will be left afterwards when it falls. Who will stand on what side, and will ambition kill off their own guilds since strife will be created when a conflicting interest is seen.

Cassius with these thoughts in mind strikes the boulder and watches as the cracks grow by a minuscule amount once more. He sighs softly having preferred the idea that it would be better to miss the boulder or get a crit at this point since the extra damage is much more useful then just small little bits over time. Their is a schedule to try and keep, but at the very least lots of time to plan out the fall of Aincrad. Time to plan on the perfect approach to leading people under his banner. Their were ways to go about such things it just depends on which one is the best way.

He looks upon the boulder and tries to intentionally miss this time to go and activate heavy momentum. With such a bonus from heavy momentum it would make this go quite a lot faster then the little damage. Hopefully the plan works that way, but first is figuring out what is the correct distance away from the boulder that will activate the enhancement? Cassius walks towards the edge of the boulder. He moves his right arm back and goes for a punch and intentionally misses the boulder by a single inch as he hears the familiar humm of heavy momentum activating. Perfect it seems that is a way to try and increase this process. I'll keep that amount encase the game is finicky the only thing that would be annoying if i scratch the boulder and it counts as an attack. Cassius says out loud as he looks at the boulder grinning as he gets ready to hit this boulder as hard as he can to leave it a crumbling pile of rocks to unlock his sword art style he does want.

Cassius does the motion for cracking his knuckled however their isn't the satisfying sound that comes after that, or even the sensation to give reason for such an action. Just that familiarity of such a thing allowing him to be ready for hitting the boulder. Cassius moves his arm back and swings as hard as he can and hits the same spot once more where he had been hitting over and over along the boulder. The sound of the boulder cracking more under the static force of his punch is enough for him as he watches the cracks grow and the boulder lose a noticeable amount of health from the strike. Now their is only the players, and how to handle them. What is the best initial approach when talking with others. Cassius says not allowing a moment to appreciate the amount of damage. Players can certainly be sorted out like people back in the real world. The pathetic spineless fools who only need a brave leader to guide them, and they'll happily follow now matter what. Then their are those who are strong and have ambition like himself. Those will require careful maneuvering around to try and form a possibly good alliance in the way to prepare for combined domination of this land. Then their are the spectrum of people the good two-shoes who wish only for the betterment of people. Those will need careful planning also to try and make sure they don't think he is some villain. Having some person who believes in their own justice would be annoying to deal with constantly. Then their are the ones who already believe in the process of the strong, and determined win while the sheep just obey. Those will just need a good business proposal, and then subtle manipulation. To push those people in the right direction to see only him as a truly good leader.

Cassius move over to the edge of the boulder once more and goes for a swing with his fist, and to his surprise it misses far more then he had allowed his arm to actually move. It seems this game has some sort of way to cause missing on its own case also. Seems like the random numbers game is happening in some fashion in this game, and it is not all skill. He nods his head at this keeping this in mind since it does give light onto how things are happening within this game, and when you can understand the game that means anyone can know how to manipulate the numbers to your advantage. He backs away from the boulder and sits on a nearby rock to think for a moment. The first encounter with players should probably be handled in a neutral, but kind mannered way to figure out how they are. Once that is settled their is the actual matter of having to play that act out long enough to find out their beliefs of everything. That seems like the best approach in dealing with these players. Cassius looks to his gauntlets that are humming with the activation of heavy momentum. He gets up and makes his way to the boulder to give it another punch.

Cassius walks along the top of this mountain away from his spot where he sat to think for a moment. Once at the boulder he puts his gauntlet covered hand against the boulder and can feel the slight ridges from the cracks that are forming. With that he moves his hand back before punching the boulder as once more the extra damage is very helpful with the boulder cracking once more as the cracks start to spread to more and more to fit the height of this thing. Cassius looks back to the spot where he had been punching and sees it is barely holding together as it is right now. Seems like their needs to be a new spot to punch or he will start to create a hole in the boulder with his strikes. He looks around the boulder and can't find any terrible spot like the initial one, so he decides to just punch near the middle where a crack is beginning to form.

Cassius looks to the health bar of the boulder and sees that about forty percent of it is gone which is a pretty good amount as he looks at the time and sees that completing this quest won't take as long as he had thought it was going to. He could probably even make it back to the settlement of urbus before the sun is even fully set with the way that it is going for him. He looks t the boulder and tries once more to miss the boulder like he had planned to allow him the most amount of damage he can get with each strike. However, when he went to punch the boulder it hit the area that is crumbling pretty heavily from his constant attacks on it earlier as it cracks even more affecting that area of the boulder more. Cassius just sighs in slight annoyance of that happening, but their is no reason to be upset just wasted time. He clenches his left fist at that fact before taking a deep breathe as he unclenches. Following his acting lessons to be able to convey emotions and to get the ones he wants himself to feel, and act like.
