She ran into a few friendly players who were there looking for a quest that would give them "free" armor. Once she heard about that Kimi thought she would go out of her way to gain some armor because she is lacking some equipment. From what Kimi could gather the NPC who is going to make the armor for you is the master NPC Armorsmiths Griswold. It wasn't long until she found the shop in which the NPC resided. "Hello?" Kimi said looking in as she opened the door. She was quickly greeted by a female NPC, if she recalled correctly thats the wife of the smith Hanna. "Hello there dear. I take you're here to get some armor yes? If you are, let him know what armor you want. He should be in the back just go around the house." Hanna said kindly as she gestured to the side of the house.There stood a surly built man blacked by smoke from his forge. "You must be Griswold. I came looking to get a armor piece if you wouldn't mind." Kimi said. Link to post Share on other sites

Kimi was quick to reply as she already knew what she wanted. I'm trying to get myself some heavy armor with the thorns enchantment." As she said that Griswold then stood up from his forge and made his way inside his house. "Wait here please." He said to Kimi. After some time Griswold came out saying. "I can make you it, but i'll be needing you to gather some materials for me... Hmm 1 Teir 1 Materials should be more than enough as long as its the herb from a specific creature. The materials are dropped by the Dark Elves in the Forest of Wavering Mists." He said pointing out into the distant forest. These elves aren't friendly and will attack on sight. Just treat them as your common day monster and you'll be fine." Griswold warned. With that said Kimi went off into the distance not sure of what to expect, except that she will be fighting some dark elves and until then she won't be coming back. She came upon the path that would take her to the Forest of Wavering Mists. Thankfully Kimi made good time by finding and accepting the quest early that she had plenty of time to prepare. Not only that, but she also had time to look around and absorb the new scenery. Kimi wasn't fond of leaving lower level floors even if this one was also considered as much. She much preferred staying near the Town of Beginnings and only really going out to get materials or just stay at her shop to craft. The wind out in the mountains were fairly calm, but once she would reach a mid point of some hills and mountains it would pick up the pace. As for how it looked up in the sky, it was all blue and clear. Though thick clusters of clouds were around and about, but that wasn't too much of a concern to Kimi. Link to post Share on other sites

The terrain in which she was crossing didn't change much, but what was cobblestone reverted back to dirt. The Forest of Wavering Mists began to reveal itself slowly. It was most notable by how a thick dark forest in the distance was emitting a fairly dense mist. Kimi ran the detail of the quest back in her head. She needed to fight some dark elves for the mats that they drop. At least most specifically, the dark elves have keen sense of a special herb that grows within the Forest of Wavering Mists and she needed that. Griswold also mentioned that it wasn't impossible to find some materials laying about, but it would be best just to get it off the elves that lived there. The herb that she was looking for could best be described as a dark thick leafed fern that attracts and holds on to mist. This effect of the mist on the fern even lasts when outside the forests and in different floors. Link to post Share on other sites

Kimi decided it would be best if she took a minute to check her gear and probably get a warm up fight before hand. Kimi really wanted to try out her new wraps she just got identified which add a paralyze effect and a good one at that. In higher levels this weapon she received would be over shadowed, but for now it was a really good pick. Kimi took a minute to decide and came to the conclusion it would probably be best if she stuck with her normal wraps that add bonus flat damage. She took a look around to see if there we're any animals or beasts nearby that she could get in a quick fight with. Hopefully a quick fight as she wouldn't like to have another episode where the beast she fought took a while to defeat despite being badly injured. Link to post Share on other sites

As she scanned around one more time to make sure it really was alone, no other animal could be seen nearby. Kimi jumped in as soon as possible to attack entering with a drop kick. As she came down with the heavy drop kick the wolf noticed, but it was too late and the kick connected. The wolf on the other hand had seen its fair shares of battles and reacted as soon as Kimi finished with her kick and bit her leg. The wolf got a good bite in that it caught Kimi by surprise. The monsters and beasts she fought until now never really had the aggression like a wolf. If this was real life she knew she would be dead, but that's no different in this death game. The damage wasn't much thanks to the armor she had, but it still was damage regardless. Kimi went in for another attack as soon as she got the opportunity to. She came in rushing with her fist trying to land a solid punch. As she closed the distance to her target. The bite from before left a odd tingling sensation in her leg that made her take a misstep making her miss. This was a opening for the wolf which also made its move at Kimis' mistake, but what happened to Kimi also seemed to happen to the wolf. The two of them failed to connect a hit this was probably due to the damage both of them conflicted on each other. Kimi took the miss they both made as a good time to recover to make sure the next hit will hit. She ignored the fact that the last hit was a miss for both of them, but this time she was more or less sure she can connect a hit. As she rushed in to close the gap again she still felt some of the tingling sensation on her leg and slowed her rush only to miss her attack. As for the wolf when Kimi slowed down it decided to take another bite only to miss again. Seems the two were having a hard time fighting since they didn't put much time into recovering and to prepare for the next strike. With this in mind Kimi made sure her stance was solid after she escaped and made some distance from the wolf. The wolf on the other hand was still very aggressive, but it seemed to understand that both needed to recover and also took its time to do so. After she felt as if she had recovered enough she began rushing the wolf once again. When she reached nearly 3 meters from the wolf Kimi jumped forward towards the wolf with her arm cocked back. As she came down upon the wolf full force with all her weight behind her she knocked the beast back into a rock. The damage was clear as the rock itself presented some cracks, but the wolf didn't let that go. As soon as the wolf picked itself up it went on and tried to tackle Kimi. As for Kimi, she put so much effort into the punch she just delivered that she wasn't ready to dodge and took on the wolfs' attack. The two were really getting into the fight now. Though it was only a matter of time before the wolf falls. The wolf was showing signs of fatigue and was obviously going to go down soon. When Kimi noticed this she wanted to end the fight with one hit. Not only ending it with one hit, but also getting the chance to try out her new sword art in the process. As Kimi closed her eyes and focused all her strength to her legs she uttered under her breath "Delayed Sword." Kimi leaped towards the wolf unleashing a flurry of kicks that disabled the wolf for a bit, but she finished it with a chop. Kimi almost missed all her attempts at attacking, but thanks so her ring she managed to hit the wolf. The wolf started to turn into pixels and soon faded away. Now was that was over Kimi sat down and took a break right where she defeated the wolf. As she sat there waiting and passing the time to build up her energy. Kimi decided it would be best not to spend her time waiting for her energy to recover doing nothing and she proceeded with looking for materials. Luckily for her as she was searching she came upon a shining mushroom that was growing and picked it up. It just so happened to be a material that could be used and she stored it away for later use. After finding the mushroom however, Kimi went back to resting. This was the first time she has entered the third floor so she wanted to absorb as much of the atmosphere as she can. She didn't know if she would ever return to this floor again, but you never really know if it will all be over after this. While Kimi was still resting she knew it would probably be best if she remained rested for the time being until she fully recovered, but again she didn't want to spend it doing nothing. As the clouds in the sky provided some favorable shade along with the cool winds it brought she thought it would be best to just continue looking for materials. It wasn't as if searching for materials was a demanding thing. So Kimi could do that on the side as she rested a bit. Kimi scanned the surrounding areas to see if she can spot anything of interest, but it was to no avail. Nothing could be found within the roadside except normal flowers, ferns, and trees that dotted the hill-ish plains. Kimi sat for a while and thought to herself if her enemy, the dark elves, would be difficult, but that was only a thought. If she really thought about it the wolf really didn't do anything to her. She didn't know how to feel about it because her armor was good to the point that the wolf didn't do anything, but at the same time she can't call that a fight. As she stood there wondering if she should go searching for another wolf to fight a thought came to mind. "I can use that song i made." She said to herself as she pulled out "Battle Lullaby" Kimi never actually had the chance to test it out, but she knew what it would do. For right now though Kimi wanted to try and test it out while she was out in the field, and with her kind of armor she felt more than prepared. Out of the tall grass two wolves came out. For Kimi this was a first getting to try to fight multiple beasts at once, but she had some confidence in herself. As the wolves closed in they began to circle her. This was much different than fighting one monster, she had to be weary of the two of them while also dealing damage. At the same time she felt as if she could just rely on her armor enchantment to absorb the damage for her. Kimi wanted to open with a big hit and channeled a attack "Delayed Sword" and let out heavy blow after heavy blow on to the first wolf. This didn't go unnoticed however as the second wolf went in to attack while Kimi was busy attacking her partner. Even though the second wolf attacked Kimi completely ignored it and continued to let out a beating onto the first wolf. While this happened Kimi turned her attention to the second wolf. Now that the two were alone she didn't have to spare any extra effort on dodging attacks from behind. For the wolf however, seeing its partner die made it go into a rage an started growling furiously towards Kimi. Kimi then rushed to attack the wolf, but it was more than prepared. After seeing what Kimi did to its partner the wolf knew it would have to dodge whatever she had in store. As the wolf dodge, it made a quick turn to get a tackle onto Kimi, pushing her back a few steps. For the wolf, this only really stalled the inevitable. Kimi then prepared herself to unleash her big attack on the wolf to try to finish it off as she did the one before. She took a stance and waited to see if the wolf were to make the first move this time. As she came near again she channeled all her strength to her legs and said "Delayed Sword" and unleashed a flurry of heavy hits. Sadly however all the attempts at striking the wolf failed for it dodged all the attacks. The wolf had already known what the attack looked like and didn't want it to happen again to him. As for the wolf, it saw that Kimi put a lot of energy into that last attack and she was out of breath. It used this opportunity to leap at her and attack while her guard was lowered. Kimi was still trying to catch her breath when the wolf attacked. She couldn't dodge it in time so she just let her armor take on the swipe of its claws. This fight was going nowhere for her except for earlier when she got rid of the first wolf. She now was feeling this fight was going against her and decided to take up a defensive stance and wait for the wolf no matter how long it will take. As she took a stance the wolf took notice of it and went on to attack. As the wolf ran towards Kimi to try and leap attack her. Kimi tried to dodge only to actually get caught by the wolf. She wasn't fast enough to dodge the attack and got tackled to the ground once again. Kimi thought to herself "This fight is getting me nowhere. I need to figure out a way to make this fall into my favor." As she picked herself up from the ground Kimi tried once again to maintain her defensive stance. Hopefully she will dodge fast enough this time, but she can only wait for the next attack. As the beast grew nearer Kimi could finally see how fast the wolf was moving and did a small side step to dodge. As she dodge she followed up with a wide roundhouse kick to the wolfs' face and sent it flying back. The wolf skid across the dirt ground making clouds of dust appear. "Yes!" Kimi said "I finally got you." As she lowered her leg she felt a slight tingle. It seemed the wolf managed to bite her leg when she kicked it. Seems the wolf was on a different level than the other two Kimi fought. It was getting whatever hit it can even when its opponent retaliates. As Kimi prepared once again she thought it was best to attack as soon as she gets a chance. Now with the wolf down on the ground the battle was back in her favor. Still that hit that Kimi delivered was fairly devastating. The wolf with that one hit was already pretty bloodied and bruised, but she knew it would take more than that to finish it off. Despite being hurt badly the beast still wanted to go for another attack. The wolf tried to act intimidating by growling more furiously than before, but Kimi saw right through it and ignored its threats. As it kept growling Kimi grew tired of waiting and charged at the wolf. This was exactly what the wolf wanted and attack Kimi while it was charging aiming for her legs. The wolf got a good bite in, but not after Kimi landed a solid punch to its ribs. As the two separated it seemed as if the wolf regretted that trade as it didn't do much damage to Kimi. As she came in rushing she caught the wolf off guard while it was still trying to study itself. She ran up to the wolf and landed a heavy left hook to the wolf launching to away. The hit wasn't something spectacular, but it certainly did some damage as the limping of the wolf was more apparent. The wolf on the other hand only stood where it landed and tried to recover. Now that Kimi can see the result of the hit she prepared to switch off from her defensive stance to go on a full offensive. She believed that she could end this in 2 hits if not one, as long as she is able to land her attacks. With that in mind Kimi calmed herself and tried to clear her mind so she would not get ahead of herself.
