As he searched, he noticed something he had not before about the room. There was a sort of rough symmetry. Although the rock formations were random, the general use of positive and negative space was patterned similarly on both sides of the chamber. There was, however, one spot that stood out. Where on the one side there was a recess in the wall, on the mirrored side, there was merely a smooth wall. Shield approached the wall, and as he drew nearer, his earring began to glow to indicate the presence of something valuable. He pressed the edges of the flat section, eventually finding a piece of stone that when pressed opened the wall up like a sliding door. There, behind the false wall, was hidden a chest, similar to the one he had found with Hikoru, with detailing making it appear to be the skull of some great, square devil, despite the fact that it was wood and iron rather than bone. He was glad that there was a good way to maximize the potential outcome from good rare finds. He held out the little key and watched it evaporate in a flash of glittering gold and a sound of tinkling metal. The lid popped open, and immediately he was greeted with a dialog box that outlined the chest's contents. He was not disappointed. Though this farming trip had not produced any armor, the weapons had the potential to return something interesting. He closed the chest, watching it disappear as its stamina depleted after being emptied. With that, Shield straightened up, dusted off, and made for the safe zone to be able to safely store his bounty.
