About: History/personality

Mark, often going by Marx online, is a rather peculiar young man. He doesn't have too many friends, and he watches the news way too much. Deep inside, Marx just wants things to be right for the world, but he can never tell if what he is doing is right or wrong. His lack of parental guidance really didn't help him too much in the long run either. Most of his ethics and morals were self taught, rather than his parents teaching him what is right and wrong.

From a young age, Marx had a fascination with the stars, and he always wanted to be an astroligist when he grew up. He read a lot of science fiction growing up, and he eventually started to have the desire to control all of it and started to get a little bit messed up in the head. No one noticed, and his condition got worse. Eventually, Marx just wanted to control the world, but he kept his urges well hidden, so no one ever could help him.

Marx got into video games when he was about 11, just as a side hobby. He never quite got addicted to them, but they were a fun past time for him. Video games tended to fulfill his dreams, taking his fantasies and making them playable. So when SAO came around, it seemed like a perfect opprutunity to live out more of his fantasies.
Virtues:

Deceptive: Marx is great at hiding his true intentions and just putting on a smile. He has a lot of patience with people, and can put up with just about anything from anyone. It takes effort and knowledge of Marx's weaknesses to actually break him.

Studious: Marx is used to researching things before diving right into them. He always knew the precautions, what the risks and rewards would be, etc. If he felt there were too many flaws in a plan, then he would never follow through with it.

Enthusiastic: When Marx does a job, he works with a smile. He always has a way of giving off positivity when performing a task, whether it be combat or day to day labor, Marx has a smile. He sticks to his simple ideology of not aiming for something if it isn't fun. As power hungry as he is, Marx still wants to have a good time.

Megalomaniac: Marx has an unending desire to control the world, or rather, the entire galaxy. The stars and all of the planets, he has the delusional wanting for all of them. Even in SAO, Marx still wants to take over the world. Maybe if there was a guiding hand for him, that could have changed.

Fraud: Marx is practically nothing more than a poser personality wise. He can wear a smile for as long as he wants, or switch to a more saddened tone to help gain someone's trust. The best part for him is, it is nearly impossible to actually see through his disguise.

Apathetic: Save for a few people, Marx couldn't care less about everyone in the world. He can fake having feelings towards others, but it is all meaningless in the end. He only fakes connections to advance his plans forward, it also can make him a bit untrustworthy.
