[PP - F02] <<Breaking the Unbreakable>> Good Thing You Can't Feel Pain!

Morgan huffed. That was enough moping she'd done, now she needed to find someone who could actually take her to that NPC. She couldn't sit here brooding by herself with a useless weapon and no skills, she needed to get out and do something, make up for her stupidity! She'd never be able to protect people like this, not really. But on the other hand, she really didn't want to risk the life of yet another person. She was supposed to be protecting people, not endangering them even further in this twister world. She'd have to just look around and hope somebody high-level, to whom the enemies of the second floor would be like childs-play to, happened to be here. She just hoped they wouldn't be careless, too. She didn't want another death on her hands.

After a few minutes of looking, maybe 20 at most, a smirk crept to Morgan's lips. This person most certainly looked high-level, what with that clothing and all! And nice clothing it was too, the ribbons were so pretty. She hoped she'd find some fashionable armour like that later on, instead of this weird eastern-looking robe thing and puffy trousers. With that smirk still on her face, she practically bounced up to the pink-haired woman. "Hey! You look high level. Are you? It'd be uh...really nice if you were both high level and willing to help out someone low level? I kind of need some help really bad 'cause I did something dumb...", she stated, giving her what could only be described as big, blue puppy eyes. Now she just had to pray that this woman was indeed the kind type of person, instead of the more difficult type. That would make things...well, difficult. And she'd have to resume her search.

It certainly was a long time since the last time she had been on this floor, she certainly wasn't here for combat or anything, so she hadn't worn her Mechanical Princess outfit and instead had worn her normal outfit before the Mechanical Princess. She had walked in the main settlement just looking around just enjoying the memories of being in this floor before. However after a moment, she had turned around to see a new player she hadn't seen before asking if she was a high level if they were willing to help a low level, and she had needed some help because of her actions, then giving her puppy dog eyes. Ruby had playfully smiled and looked down upon this girl placing a hand on her hip saying out to her "Whoa whoa sister, one thing at a time." she had fixed her posture and said to her "I would like to inform you how dangerous it is to talk to random people you don't really know, or can prove is a nice person. However lucky for you." she had pointed over to her HP bar where her guild symbol should appear for her "You didn't find a evil high level player." she had giggled. "And I can help you depending on what you have done, there are somethings I cannot do or fix. Tell me, what is this "dumb thing" you've done?" she had questioned her.

Morgan placed her hands behind her back as the woman started to speak, one foot crossing behind the other as she looked up hopefully. "Well, it's not like you can do anything to me here. This is a safe zone, after all! If we were out on the floor itself I'd be more careful, but here we're all safe", she replied with certainty, the smirk turning to a huge grin. "Besides, you looked nice anyway! And I tend to be a good judge of character."

When Ruby finally questioned about the dumb thing, Morgan turned her head away as the smile shrunk, a mixture of embarrassment and guilt showing on her face. "Ah, well...I um...I always played Monks in other games so as soon as I got on here, I rushed to get a good unarmed weapon. But as it turns out from asking other players, you need to have completed a certain quest to be able to level the skill for that! But obviously I can't get there myself, so...I'm kinda stuck unless someone escorts me. Please take me? I can probably try to find some way to repay you!"

Ruby had listened as this player spoke out saying that this was just a safe zone, it had only reminded her of her previous group, Ruby had a little bit of a upset look on her face as she had replied back to her "Well, let me inform you that a lot of player killers are disguised as people who would look harmless, because once they manage to convince you to leave the safezone, there is no one to save you. I nearly died, had to do things I didn't want to do because of the same mistake, please don't fall for it next time." she had asked of her with a polite tone. However eventually the player had spoke out saying that she usually played monk type characters in other games, and just needed to get to the quest to get the Martial Arts skill, Ruby had let out a chuckle as she had said to her "There is no need to repay me, regardless, col and materials are basically worthless to me since I have majority of all the things I need already. Follow me, ill show you where its at, and maybe just maybe ill help you complete it." she had said poking a little fun at her before turning in a direction to walk.

Morgan shuffled like she was being scolded as Ruby spoke, one hand coming up to scratch her cheek in slight embarrassment. Well, she wasn't really wrong there. But she trusted herself to judge a person's character well enough. "Well, okay! If you say so. I'll try not to be so...forthcoming with random people, I guess? Not gonna stop me being friendly though", she responded almost stubbernly, before beaming as Ruby dd indeed decide to take her.

"Ah, that's wonderful! You must be really high level then...which is good, I guess! Won't need to worry about random mobs, though we should still keep our eyes out. Getting careless would be a...bad idea." Morgan's brow furrowed for a moment and her lips pursed, but a second later she was back to her smirk. "Anyway, thanks! Even if you don't, just getting there would be good. The weapon I got is really good, so I should be able to fight my way back here." With that, Morgan trotted along behind her, hands behind her back.

Ruby had looked down as she had said okay if she had said so and she would be less forthcoming to random people, Ruby had chuckled a little as she had said to her "I never said to not be friendly, just be a little more cautious about things, dont just go around asking people to do a quest and immediately trust them. They can be secret Player Killers for all you know." However, eventually she had agreed to take her and maybe help her on the quest. Then she had talked out which had made her chuckle a little bit, Ruby had then said out to her "Well as long as we follow the path we probably wouldn't have that much attention drawn to us, plus majority of the players have swept the spawn rates clean, we should be fine for the most part." she had said to her. Then she had said out a thanks, saying that she got a weapon that was really good, as they had reached the exit of the Main Settlement she had turned to the woman and said to her "So, you still trust me enough to have me lead the way?" she had asked her just in case she had wanted to chicken out.

Morgan shrugged at that. "Yeah, I guess. Still, not too worried about it in this town. But let's stop talking about that, it's depressing and boring!", she stated, raising a hand and a finger with it. "That should make things significantly easier. Though maybe we should find some on the way back, so I can practice under your watchful supervision!", she continued, that enormous smile returning.

"Yep! Let's get up to the second floor, find that NPC, and start the quest! Still not sure what the quest actually entails, I've just heard it can be kinda tedious...", Morgan mused, speaking more to herself than Ruby. "Oh, what's your name by the way? I'm Morgan!"

Ruby had chuckled after her suggestion to stop talking about it as it was depressing and boring, Ruby had shook her head and said "Even if its depressing and boring, you're gonna have to talk about it eventually." Ruby had looked back as she had spoke again, Ruby had smiled a bit and thought to herself "This woman seems to be a woman of many words, got a lot to talk about I presume." she had thought to herself, however she had said out "Well... I dunno if you want to fight mobs with me around, since I am such a high level the game will spawn things more towards my level, so if you see a mob, its probably best you don't get involved." she had informed her, the last thing she wanted was to have her end up dead or anything. As they had reached the exit she had then asked if she had trusted her, then she had given the permission, then with a smile she had looked back forward and walked out of the main settlement, afterwards she had introduced herself... finally, Ruby had looked over with a smile and said "It's a pleasure to meet a cute girl like you Morgan, my name is Ruby."

"Well, I guess. Still, I think we're done with that particular discussion for now!", Morgan stated, humming to herself just a little in the breaks in the conversation.

"Oh, well, then it'd probably be a good idea if I don't, huh? I don't think I'd stand a chance against mobs of that level, so better not to take a risk with it", she confirmed, appending her words with a decisive nod. She reckoned that once she was done with this quest, she should go and actually do that tutorial quest she'd seen. That probably had some pretty useful rewards.

At the compliment towards the black-haired girl's appearance, the smirk grew somewhat. She knew she was attractive, but hearing it was nice all the same. "Well, I'm glad you think so! Nice meeting a pretty girl like you too, Ruby!", she responded, grinning up to her. She was rather pretty, with those nice clothes, long hair that looked even messier with hers, and overall appearance that was, while not as good as Morgan's own in her eyes, still nice.

Ruby had frowned a little bit at her attempts to just move on from the discussion, it was one that you shouldn't just brush off, however she would comply with her and just move on from the conversation. Then she had said it probably wouldn't be a great idea if she had done it, Ruby had let out a small chuckle and nodded her head as she had said out to her "No it wouldn't that would be extremely dangerous, the last thing I want is for someone to die after just getting a skill." Then she had complimented her, and afterwards she had said it was nice meeting a pretty girl like her too, Ruby had shook her head and said "Pretty is one word, Sexy is probably a better one for me." she had giggled before saying out "But thank you for the compliment." she had said with a smile. She had still lead the way, oddly they hadn't seen any forms of mobs at all, seems like the spawn rates are seriously that low on the path to the quest it would seen, everyone got to them first.

"Yeah, I don't...particularly want to die. Already seen too much of that, and I'll...be damned if I die before I kick the creator up and down every single floor of Aincrad for what he's done", Morgan replied with a certain bitterness to her voice, which cracked slightly partway through before she regained her composure.

Fortunately, Ruby had steered the conversation in a different direction, and Morgan's smirk returned. She raised a hand and finger again, and winked at Ruby. "Well, I didn't want to make assumptions, Ruby. Didn't know if you were the type of person to enjoy being called that", she responded with a smug grin. "Well, I guess we're both the hot types then. I knew we'd get along!"

Ruby had placed a hand on her hip as they had moved forward as she had frowned just a bit "Yeah, the last thing I want is for anyone else to die, we have had too many deaths happen in this game. And well, ive had a situation were I could had died because of some asshole players, and... yeah, just I wanna keep you safe for today at least." she had said before letting go of her hip and placing her arm to her side. Then after a moment, she had winked towards Ruby and she had said that she didnt want to make assumptions, that she didn't know if she was that kind of person, then said that they were both the same type and knew they'd get a long. Ruby had shook her head and said "In the real world I am a fashion designer, aka a Fashionista, I'm basically proud of my body and I know I am sexy through having a job like that." she had said with a giggle, then she had looked up and down Morgan's body and let out a chuckle again "But hey, you've got quite a nice body yourself."

Morgan nodded in agreement, corners of her lips turning down for just a moment before she returned to normal. "Yeah, I've seen too many already too. I don't want to let someone else die, so I'm gonna get stronger and kick the ass of every mob that I come across. Maybe help out in the Town of Beginnings for a bit and help new players, like you're doing with me." Again, Morgan seemed to be talking more to herself than to Ruby.

"Oh? That's cool! Are you a Tailor in-game, then, or what? I'm thinking of becoming an Artisan, since I liked doing gem-cutting and jewelry-making in real life. And I know I'm cute as hell and sexy to back it up, too. It's how I got through college!", she responded, deciding not to push the point that she was way more attractive with someone much higher level than her.

Ruby had chuckled after her statement, she had looked to Morgan and said to her "That's the spirit Morgan, before you know it you'll be able to slap around any mob or boss you wish." she had smiled brightly and giggled out a bit. Then she had asked if she was a artisan and went on about her love about gemcutting, and she had said that she was cute as hell and sexy to back it up and it was how she had gotten through college, Ruby had placed a hand on her hip and looked at Morgan with a look that says "Really now?" and "Go on~...." and she had said to her "Oh really, then how did your cute and sexy body get you through college? I would presume that your brain is something to get you through college." she had asked wondering what in the world she had meant by it getting through college, at this point Ruby just needed to know otherwise she might keep pressing onto it till she gets the information she had seeked, she had just begged to know.

Morgan showed teeth as her grin grew wider. "Yep! I'd solo a floor-boss, but I feel like that's something that's not really possible, y'know?", she responded, before chuckling at Ruby's question. "It did! I meant like, paying. I was smart enough to get through, of course, but it costs a lot of money, so I became a poledancer to afford it. When you're as drop-dead gorgeous as me, that earns a lot of money! I could pay my way and then some. That was the only job I really managed to keep though, the others I just got bored of. But that was always exciting, so I never really got bored of it", she explained, showing off a small bit of her normal dancing skill as they moved down the path.

"I mean, you'd get the kind of person who'd assume you were dumb and vapid for doing a job like that, but fortunately my boss was lenient enough to let me work as my own bouncer!"

Ruby had giggled when she had said that she would solo a floor boss, Ruby had shook her head and said "I don't think that's possible unfortunately, those are extremely hard, I doubt that anyone would be able to, even the fabled Calrex might now be able to." Then she had explained that it did, at least on the money aspect about it, and.. what she had said she basically said that she had been a poledancer, Ruby had chuckled and didn't exactly know what to say at this point, however whatever had gotten her the money to get through college then more power to her on the profession that she chose to have. Ruby had then said out with a joking tone "Well if I wasn't taken I sure as hell probably would had loved a demonstration as payment." she had let out a giggle. However eventually after a bit of walking they had made it to the mountain looking up on the path she had looked back to her and said "Welp, this is the mountain, hope you are ready for upward slopes."

Morgan tilted her head at that. "Who's Calrex? I've mostly been holed up in the Town, so I don't really know any other players. Is he the highest-levelled player or something?", she questioned, stopping her prancing to return to Ruby's side. If there were 'fabled' PCs, maybe she could become one, and use that to her advantage to help people! Plus, being famous would be nice.

At the mention of being taken, Morgan snickered. "Lucky you, then. And unfortunate you too, I guess", she responded with a wink and a smirk, before continuing. "I can do normal dancing too. Anyway, I should be fine! I've done some rock-climbing before. Should be fine just heading up a mountain. Considering there's a quest up here, and probably a pretty popular one, there should be a path right?"

Ruby had giggled when she had asked who Calrex was, she had forgotten that not many people knew a lot of the people on the front lines. Ruby had looked to her and said "Calrex? Sorry, I forgot not everyone knows people from the front lines." she had let out a chuckle for a moment, then she had looked to her and said "He's one of the highest level front liners, and I got to see in straight action... and he barely got scratched during the entire boss raid." However after a moment, she had listened to her snicker and say it was unfortunate and winked at her saying that she could do normal dancing too, Ruby had placed a hand on her hip and said "Well, I would presume if you can dance very sexy, I am sure you could dance normally as well." she had giggled. Then she had said to her "Yeah, we just got to follow this path and eventually we will make it up to the top of the mountain, however it can get pretty tight and we could fall the higher we get up."

Morgan placed a finger on her bottom lip as Ruby explained who Calrex was. Damn, he sounded strong. Not a single scratch throughout an entire boss raid? "Is that because he's just that strong, or the tanks did their job? Or is he a tank? Because that would really make it impressive. Tanks must be really brave to deliberately put themselves in harms way even knowing the consequences...", she mused, lips twisting slightly in thought.

"Damn right I can dance well! Not that great at the slow ballroom-type dancing though. Anyway, I'm sure we'll be fine. Is there fall damage in SAO?", Morgan questioned, tilting her head once again, while watching her footing. Even if there wasn't fall damage, falling still wouldn't be a good idea, since it'd set them back, and she wanted to get this over and done with as soon as they possibly could so she could get to punching mobs and finishing those tutorial quests she had ignored.

"So, what level are you? And what level is Calrex?" Part of her wanted to know the level cap, but also knowing just how far ahead Ruby and Calrex were from her would be nice to know too.

Ruby had giggled after her questions, she had said to him "It's not that he didn't take any scratches what-so-ever because he had put in the finest work, he just barely took any damage, I would just assume that he was a tank. However there is one that showed up that did quite a bit of work... even if he isn't that well liked, but he does have a unique skill." she had filled her mind with with a giggle. Then she had said that she knew well she could dance, just not that great at ballroom type dancing, then had asked if there was any form of fall damage, Ruby had turned her back and guided her up the path, right now its not entirely bad however as they get up it would become a little more tough she had smiled and said to her "Yes, there is, and up there you might want to be careful, someone your level probably couldn't survive from a fall that bad." then she had heard her ask what her level was and what calrex's were, she had giggled and said "I've got no clue what level he is! He's never told me and I have never seen some sort of level, however I am level 48." she smiled.
