Austin Bates was a fighter. An agent trained in places that closely resembled hell, who had to suffer through many obstacles in order to become the super human that he and those of his own kind thinks of themselves as. They were referred to as super humans, but they weren't necessarily treated as humans. Instead, they were treated as robots, programmed to be deployed at any moment to any place on the earth under any circumstance to fight and annihilate the enemies without failure. No questions could be asked, and Bates had never asked a question in his life. He had always done what he was told since he was ditched by his two parents. In fact, he had become so lost in this uncommon method of life, that he can no longer function without a master to command him. His body, finely designed for any sort of combat would be wasted without another individual giving orders in the background. It's almost as if he does not have a mind of his own, but that's purely due to the way he was raised. Fortunately for Austin Bates, this criminal organization which had trained him to be a mindless warrior was soon caught and broken down by the CIA, freeing him and the rest of the soldiers from the life that they had lived to until that point.

Unfortunately, it had been thirty years already.

Those machine guns that were used back then were no longer used now. Back then, computers were a rare sight, but now, there were virtual devices that could send you to a different dimension. When offered Sword Art Online by an adoption manager, he originally refused, but when she insisted, he took the device without question, assuming that she had given him an order. Before entering the game, the lady told him to come up with a good username for himself. Obviously, he remembered the name that he had before: x-052, but the lady insisted that he came up with a better name. When he could not think of anything, the lady decided that since he's huge, and thick is probably already taken, the best name for him would be thicc. Just like this, Thicc enters the game, trapping himself into a maze even worse than the situations he had faced before.

Virtues:

Brave: Bates does everything that an individual with power tells him to do. He follows orders at all costs, and will not dare to question an order or refuse a command. This allows him to enter dangerous situations without thinking and without fearing the unknown, because the unknown is all he had faced in the past.

Experienced: Bates had been exposed to combat all his life, so he does not get nervous during combat. He will most likely make good decisions during fights, and will stand his ground against powerful enemies who are bigger than him. With his experience, he should have little trouble with the tense situations.

Neutral: Bates does not have many emotions. He will not take sides in an argument, and the results is he tends not to make a lot of enemies. He is serious, and just simply wants to get his job done without letting the emotions that he does not possess get in the way. It's because of these that his good-looks are often overlooked by the amount of negatives that he possesses.

Flaws:

Dependent: Bates' life is dependent on the orders that he is given. Without these orders, Bates cannot do anything on his own. Because of this, he can often have panic attacks if he's not given orders for a long period of time.

Emotionless: Bates does not have much emotion. He does what he is told without hesitation most of the time, as long as the commander is a powerful source. Bates was trained from youth to not possess any sort of emotion.

Stupid: Although Bates is not necessarily born stupid, he was trained not to think. The only information that he truly processes are orders given directly to him. With these orders, he barges into situations without thinking that much or planning ahead because he was used to it in real life, since he had a body that can overcome most things, but it is not the same in this game.
