《SP-F1》Midnight Walkthrough (The First Few Lessons Are Free)

Recommended Posts

Marc walked down the dimly lit stone streets of the Town of New Beginnings. It was a little over midnight, lucky, Marc is a night owl. Most of the shops were closed, the lights in almost all of them were out, all but one. He stopped in front of the well maintained building. He opened his map looking at the location. “This is the place…” He said quietly. Marc entered the building, inside was lots of chemistry equipment, and bottles of multicolored fluid. At one of the counters, a thin old man with a snow white beard was mixing a potion. “You must be Zakariah.” He said in a curious fashion. “Hello, my name is Zakariah. I can help you learn the basics of SAO. I need you to gather a few materials for me before we begin.” Zakariah smiled warmly. Marc gave the old man a nod of acknowledgment as an objective appeared on his screen. “Find 10 Materials for Zakariah”. Marc turned around and left in astonishment on how the NPC acted and talked, it was unsettlingly real. Marc sighed as he removed his fedora to wipe his brow, then hastily placed the hat back on his head.

Marc continued walking until he was out of town, the only thing that made sight possible was the virtual moon that lingered overhead. “Where to look for materials… Where to look…” Marc said, a hint of curiosity in his voice. He looked towards the large expanse of grasslands and strange tall spirls that stretches into the sky, it got thinner the closer it got to the ground. They realistically should have collapsed under their own weight. He started to walk off the trail into the foilage. The tall grass seeming to shift as he approached. He paused as something caught his eye. Something off that didn't belong. A strange, almost metallic flower glistened slightly above the tall grass. He walked over to it, examined the remarkable flower, picking it, and finally slipping it into his inventory. "One down, nine to go."

Marc placed his hands in the pockets of his trench coat, and looked around the moonlit feild. He noticed dew beginning to form on some of the plants. He looked around double checking before moving on. He began to think back to day one, before everything was hectic and in disarray. He began to think about the reasons the spectre of a developer told him. Marc realized was more irritated at the developer's reasons for trapping them then the actual crime itself. He didn't like feeling like a caged animal, no, caged with other animals. To him, other players were unpredictable, stubborn, in the way. They were, to Marc, a risk. He awoke from this burden of thoughts and continued checking the original plant to see if it had any more flowers. Unfortunately, he was disappointed.

He shrugged his shoulders and went underway to find more materials, in whatever form that would take. He kept walking through the feild, an occasional fern caught his eyes, but they couldn't be collected. He knew this because just moments ago, he tried to pick one. It responded by erupting in a cyan blue array of crystalline fragments. He rubbed his eyes a bit, then set off further into the feild. He then met with another trail. It was a dirt hiking trail, it look like no one had been using it for weeks. Leaving it to the reclamation of nature.
