[PP - F02] Lost and out of sight <<Let There Be Light>> (With Zuel)

Recommended Posts

This thing is persistent. There were a few things that Rithe repeatedly fails to grasp. One of those was the suicidal tendencies of the artificial intelligence in any and all monsters. There isn't a retreat function built into them, so they just launch themselves at their targets without any sense of self-preservation. And while the bat did fall back almost sporadically, it wasn't trying to flee necessarily. The monster was just trying to gain a momentary advantage, to attack another blind-spot. Why, when it has so little a chance of victory, does it keep fighting? Maybe I'm thinking too hard. Maybe it just cannot flee because of its coding. The beast came back down from its momentary seeking to deal some damage to the player that had condemned it. It came a little faster than she was anticipating, maybe it was desperate or maybe it was just something that happened as an entity approached the red zone on their health bar. Either way, Rithe had to roll to the size to avoid being knocked over.

Tired of the bat running away from him Zuel pressed on the attack again as it was still low to the ground from attacking RIthe. Taking advantage of this moment Zuel readied his blade again ready to finally test the new sword skill he had learned from leveling up. Zuel blade would glow as he charged to the blind side of the bat as the bat quickly turned to Zuel ready to try and escape death once again. Zuel blade would begin to glow as he unleashed his new sword skill on the bat. Zuel leaps high into the air, makes a single backflip, and then comes does with a powerful downward slice causing crackles of energy to pop around him and the bat. The giant bat would glow white as it would shatter into pieces disappearing as the cave illuminates a bit from all threats being defeated. The little girl comes out crying running over to Zuel as he would lift her up and lead them to the exit. "Good work Rithe. Guess the only thing left to do is return her to the town and collect the rewards." Take the safe road back to the town the little girl would be returned unharmed as a completion screen would appear before them to accept their rewards.
