He wanted to scout out the area, he had a feeling he would need to get more scorpion stingers soon, so he decided to check out the dungeon first. Moving out of the plaza, he heads for the exit of the town, looking around at the amazon esque area he was walking through. Not too bad of a place, interesting lay out. Seldentar 0 Posted May 12, 2014 Author #2 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 He turns to appologize, seeing it was an npc. The Man staring at him was a bit creepy. Suddenly a spar window popped up. He read it over confused, looking around to see who could have sent it. He set the terms, one hit no time limit, then clicked accept. At least, he thought he did, but the NPC Grabbed his arm. He couldnt break free! He watched as his hand was moved to change the options of the duel. He stared in horror as the duel was confirmed as a fight to the death. What was going on, he looked up at the npc, staring himself in the eyes. What the...was the last thought that crossed his mind, as the enemy version of him drew the same blood red sword he carried. Damn it he thought, as he drew his own sword. "Alright, I don't know whats going on, but this ends right now! Shadow, lets get him!" Seldentar charges forward, leeping into the air with his Attack as Shadow went low, after the Geminis leg. His sword sliced the duplicates cheek, but Shadow got a nice deep bite into his leg. As Seldentar was recovering from his sword skill, the Gemini unleashed his own, slicing at Seldentars chest. Seldentar, caught off guard, noticed his HP severely deplete, and watched in horror as the Geminis health restored a bit, duplicating the effects of his BloodDrinker. He swings low, hoping to bring the blade back up at the last second, meanwhile shadow leaps into the air, trying to claw at the Geminis back. Neither attack was directly on the mark, but still, at least they managed to hit him. Seld shudders to think about how bad this could have been if he had his new coat ready. With a powerful jump, he leaps into the air, a familiar sword skill activating as the begins, guided by the system, his sword lunges down at Seldentar. Seldentar 0 Posted May 12, 2014 Author #6 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Seldentar swings hard and fast, not using sword skills the system would easily recognize, he goes on the all out offensive trying to land a swing. Behind the Gemini, Shadow was growling, clawing at the imposters legs. Faster and Faster Seldentar swung, throwing the Gemini off balance. Taking advantage of the loss of balance, he thrusts his sword, missing the main torso, but still piercing through the side. Maneuvering himself so that both of them would not be able to attack next turn, he allows the battle healing skill to begin to replenish his HP a bit preparing for the next assault. Seldentar 0 Posted May 12, 2014 Author #8 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Seldentar moves quickly, following him down the narrow path, even though he wouldn't be able to gain help from Shadow here, if he allowed this thing to heal up, he was going to be in trouble. In such a narrow place, he was sure the battle would be determined right here, victory or death. Raising his sword, he charges forward with all of his strength. Parrying the last attack he threw, he then jumps forward, fast, countering with a diagonal slash attack. Jumping back a few feet to give himself some breathing room, he weighs his options. He can try to just defend, but if he does the Gemini will do the same, and he doesnt want it healing, not when he still has the advantage in terms of remaining HP. Instead, he decides to try his attack again, jumping off of the wall for the extra height he needed as he activates his . His attacks were becoming too predictable though, as the Gemini easily jumps backwards to avoid his attack, and prepare its counter. Link to post Share on other sites

The Cardinal System drove its actions, and with a laugh it lunges forward as Seldentar lands from his sword skill attempt. Shadow is behind him, with seldentar unable to find where the Gemini went. Shadows sense, higher then Seldentars, growls and rushes at the imposter, hiding in a shadowy corner. How dare it reveal his position, he needed time to recover his health to complete his goal. It was his driving mission to eliminate the player he had duplicated, and this thing may have spoiled that. Seld begins to jump up, climbing up onto the wall he is near and starts to move. He knows he wont be able to attack right away, but when he was ready to he was going to give this thing hell. Meanwhile, Shadow continues his dodge and strike tactics, as he goes in for another attack. He is unable to get a clean shot off on the Gemini however, its AI programming quickly learning the Foxs set attack patterns. Link to post Share on other sites

Maybe he could break the will of the one he duplicated by killing his pet. He raised his sword high, bringing it down at shadow. What was Kayaba thinking when he made this twisted thing. As Shadow gets hurt he becomes concerned, but cant call off the plan now. this duel was to the death, and he didnt intend for it to be his own. Calling out, he prepares to attack. "Shadow, give it all you got, right now!" Jumping up into the air, he triggers his Maneuver, hoping the Gemini was so focused on mapping out Shadows attacks he wouldnt have time to calculate and compensate for both. The Gemini looks up surprised, and as its distracted Shadow claws at its leg. As it looks down at Shadow it feels the pierce of the Sonic Thrust finds its mark. The warning system had already informed him one more strike from either would be his end. But in this duel to the death, the only option was to keep fighting. He raised his sword, jumping back from the two figures. Then, charging forward, he triggered a new Sword Skill, one Seldentar had not even attempted to begin to master yet. Still, it was available, and the was a powerful two hit combo that would leave an opponent devestated. 1st Attack Critical: 4 Damage Heal 1 2nd Attack off loot die: Hit: 2 Damage Gemini: 2/17 Seldentar: 4/17 Shadow: 8/12 Link to post Share on other sites

He wasn't sure if crystals worked during duels, so he decides to play it safe, he moves back, with Shadow having more HP then him, he prepared a Gambit. "Shadow, get him!" Shadow moved first, but Seld was right behind him, as Shadow Jumped High, he slid low, aiming for his legs. It had been a nuisance from the start of the fight, familiars making a world of a difference in a situation like this. Gripping his blade tight, he rushes forward, even as he sees shadow running full tilt at the Gemini. It was time to end this, coming at him from both sides he hoped he couldnt defend against both of them. As they reach him, Seldentar swings his sword high, while shadow runs in low. The Gemini manages to dodge Shadows attack, and then feels it. The cut of the blade as it passes through him. Seldentar followed the attack through to the end, cutting the Gemini in half. As its HP reaches 0, it has a look of fear as it turns to look at Seldentar, a memory that will burn itself into his memory forever as it shatters apart. That could have been him....and it still might be one day. Still, the winner icon appears over head, signifying the end of the duel. Link to post Share on other sites
