Sword Art Online was Kiera's first game he had ever played. In his youth he spend most of his time at the gymnasium away from other kids his age. His parents both being gymnast the life was forced upon him. Growing up Kiera was always shy. He never got to enjoy some of the things the other kids got to do because of his busy schedule. Once he left home to attend college he had plans to do all the things he never had time to do. He wanted to have fun, and not be stuck in his own head all the time. He would find people to share things with and to have a good time with. When he heard about Sword Art Online he thought an opportunity to live a life different then his own was exactly what he was looking for. He could go in and be the person he'd always wanted to be. Be friendly and share the adventures he'd always wanted to have with others. The day he logged in was one of the most exciting of his life until he realized that he had been trapped in it and was actually going to have to fight his way out in order to survive.

» Virtues:

. Kindness - Kiera's has a very kind heart. He is willing to reach out to all who need it. His kindness is unbiased. He often doesn't feel negative feelings toward someone unless they attempt harm the people that he is closest to.

. Humility - When it comes to fighting for his friends Kiera will do it without question He has the courage of the heart necessary to undertake tasks which are difficult, tedious or unglamorous, and to graciously accept the sacrifices involved.

. Mental and Physical Stability - Kiera's past as a gymnast helps him in these categories. His training has allowed him incredible quickness and body control allowing him to be very acrobatic and move very well on his feet. His experience in competitions during very stressful performances is what has taught him the ability to remain calm in most stressful of situations.

. Gullible - Due to Kiera's lack of excessive social interaction in the real world, he seems to be very naive and believes most everything he hears without a second thought, this causes him to get into trouble by helping the wrong people.

. Soft Hearted - Kiera reacted to not having very many friends believing that it was because he never had time to help them when they needed him. This has caused him to be very willing to help people and usually putting others before himself in tough situations. On most occasions he will stop everything he is doing and will help anyone who asks if of him.

. Overconfidence - Because of Kiera's background and abilities he usually believes he is much more capable then he actually is. Sometimes he even forgets the leveling system in the game only believing that he only must be able to strike his opponent once to be able to defeat them.
