» About: History/personality» Sam comes from an abusive home. He is a regular in the gaming community, especially PvP games. He loves the thrill of dominating in a test of skill versus real people. To him, sword art online is a great place to get away from the monotony and abuse of his real life. In real life, he is a student, works part time, and gets pushed around by his abusive drunk of a father. He got into gaming to get away from all that, listening to loud music and spending hours on his computer. When the NervGear came out, he jumped at the chance to be able to actually leave the real world behind and be fully immersed in a virtual environment. It was addictive to him, to be able to not be himself, to go to amazing places, and never have to hear the fighting and screaming coming from down stairs. He adopted his favorite nickname, which became his Avatar name on most of his games, Meggido, a variation of the spelling for megiddo, which means Armaggedon. Taking up that name, he recreated himself online, escaping his sad life.

Virtues: 
Brave. Meggido grew up in an abusive and broken home. His obsession with online games, and strong desire to avoid his real life at all costs makes him fear very little, even in SAO. When death is a more favorable outcome then returnimg to his real life, there is little he wouldnt do to avoid having to wake up.

Experienced. Meggido has played every game he could get his hands on. From normal games to VR, he obsesses over gaming. This experience gives him an edge, always learning and finding new ways to play and win. He has played in many PvP situations, and is used to reacting to players over preprogrammed npcs.

Ruthless. Meggido views every battle as win or lose. To him, outside factors like begging, or something looking helpless, means nothing to him. Trapped in this death game, he was going to do what he wanted, when he wanted to do it, and no one was going to stand in his way.

Short Tempered. Meggido has a very short temper. He flies off the handle easily, and has trouble keeping a clear head during high emotion situations. He views people as evil, and that only by matching that can he be anyone.

Impulsive.  Meggido faces every situation with the same reaction. He will complete a task without questioning consequences, and will not think how his actions may affect him in the future. He focuses only on what is in front of him.

Cynical. Meggido often sees the worst in any and every situation. He is incredibly Cynical in all matters, often believing he is fighting simply to exist. To him, this death game was lost the minute it started. They weren't fighting to escape and be free, in truth they were all dead, and this was simply the story on how it happened. No one was getting out of this game alive, and it was simply a test to see how long you could survive in this hell of an existance.
