That's all the boar had, this was over and done with...or so Koga thought. The boar charged him, and Koga skirted around it. The man raised his saber and rushed after the boar and...tripped?! Koga hit the dirt, hard and skidded across the ground, until he came to a stop. "Ouch..." What the hell just happened? Koga had no clue...all he knew was that the boar he had been fighting...no both the boars had tripped over themselves! What kinda weird anime bullcrap was going on here? "Noctua...please just smack one...and don't trip," Koga said as he tried to get back onto his feet. Okay, one foot, firmly planted...now the other... wait no, crap...up, there we go. And now we're standing...see not that hard. Only like Koga had been doing this for most of his natural born life. Christ, what was wrong with him? She could work with this. But sadly, Koga missed the attack on the critically low boar. That is okay, they failed their own attacks, Koga and Noctua were still in the game. She didn't have the energy to do much, so she was going to opt for a basic attack, work on getting the other boar down to low health and hope that Koga can finish it off. So, here she went, she was the only one standing, surprisingly. "Noctua...please just smack one...and don't trip." Whelp, now he has gone and done it. Instead of her even making it to where she wanted to be to hit the boar, whatever managed to make them trip, hit her as well. One foot went right in front of the other, and she did a roll on the ground and looked up at the sky above them. This is getting to be really ridiculous... Here she was, ready to attack, tripping over her own feet. She grumbled as she rolled from her back slowly to her feet once more. Looking at Koga, she sighed and shook her head. "Something really doesn't like us..." But there was no time for that, as she watched the two boars, one still focused on Koga, and the other, solely focused on Noct. Koga tried to lunge at the downed boar, he had lost track of which was which at this point and neglected to check the health bars. Big emphasis on tried however, as Koga ended up completely missing. Both boars attempted to attack Koga and Noctua individually, and somehow they both missed as well. What the hell was going on. Who had cursed them all? At this point it was just cruel and unusual punishment to be missing this much and by this badly. Someone was gonna have to change something and break the curse or jinx or whatever this was eventually. In the mean time, Koga was still trying to stay on his feet. She knew that she was trying to get him to take the final hit for the chance of bonus materials, but at this point, the boars were going to kill them if they weren't careful. So, she decided on a basic attack against the second boar. This was going to break whatever curse or jinx was on them all since everyone seemed to be tripping. She managed to stay on her feet as she ran right at the second boar and dug the tip of her rapier into it's chest. She watched as it turned into red fragments and disappeared. Turning, she looked at Koga and pointed at the other boar. "All yours." She was going to recharge her sword art, just in case, but she was going to attempt to let him kill this final boar, just for that chance of loot. Renewed with confidence upon seeing Noctua kill the Boar, Koga charged towards the last Boar, who still seemed to be struggling with its footing, and charged up his Rage Blow, the saber glowing a bright crimson as slashed the beast, and it too burst into a cloud of blue. She sat down for a moment to catch her breath and to relax a bit. Honestly, who wouldn't need to relax after that fight? She watched as her health bar started to regenerate and she sighed. But it was Koga's comment that made her give him a pointed look. "And leave you alone out here while things are apparently hunting in groups. Nope, not going to happen. You're stuck with me." That was possibly a bit more forceful than he's seen her since they met, but she wasn't about to let him run off on his own in search of a single material that might take him a few more hours to find. Nope, not after the fight that they just did, that wouldn't be the best option. So, instead, she rose back to her feet and walked over to him. "Alright, lead the way." She smiled then as she waited on him to start his search once more. Heck, they could even start heading back to town and see if he could find one that way. "Alright then. I just hope you know what you're signing up for," he teased. When Noctua told him to take the lead, he started back in the direction of town, "Hopefully we'll find some stuff on the way back that doesn't wanna kill us. If not, we can just wander around the outskirts till we pick it up, does that sound good to you?" The sun was starting to go down now. Koga still had never figured out how time here had compared to the real world. He figured it was about a one-to-one ratio, but you never knew. At least in this virtual world, the sunsets were always gorgeous. She did smile though and she nodded as they started walking back to town. At least he seemed to have the same idea that she did. This way, there was less of a chance of running into a monster, and more of a chance of finding a material. He only needed the one if she recalled, so it really shouldn't be too horrible to find it. But then again, their luck today has been crap, so perhaps it was going to be difficult. "That sounds like a golden plan. Less chances of another fight." This was something that she was sure he was going to agree with, so there was that positiveness that they could share. She looked up at the sky though and noticed that the sun was starting to set. While she knew what it looked like from the town, seeing it out here in the wild was different. It seemed to be more free here, more colorful. "That's beautiful..." After how that last fight had gone, the last thing he wanted to do was get into another fight with some Boars and fall flat on his face again. When he walked back to Noctua, he showed her what he'd found, "And that's a wrap folks." Koga noticed that Noctua was looking up at the sky, "That's beautiful..." Koga looked up to the sky as well. She was tired of fighting today, really she was. Thankfully, it was something that can tire a person out. All she wanted to do now was turn this quest in then go and take a long bath before passing out. She watched as he went to grab something, her hand firmly on the hilt of her rapier, just waiting to defend him while he hunted. But thankfully, nothing came, and he showed the final material that he needed for the quest. "Oh thank god." She let out a sigh that not only said that she was tired of this quest, but just plain tired in general. Now, it was just the walk back to town that they had to worry about. She had gotten distracted though by the setting sun and the effect that it was creating on the sky. To her, it really was breath taking. She looked at him though when he beckoned to finish the quest and she nodded. "Yes, being back in town and being able to relax a little bit sounds like a grand plan." Of course, that meant no more pretty sunset, but right now, that was a sacrifice that she was willing to make. --- "Ah, you've returned!" Yes, they were back in Zakariahs's shop and the sound in the NPC's voice nearly had her groaning. This wasn't done was it? "Come, come, why don't you help me a little longer and craft a healing potion." Damn it. She sighed and pushed the thoughts of a bath to the side as she settled beside Koga to start working on this potion. "Why do I get the feeling that we won't ever be done?" There was a lightness in her voice saying that she was attempting humor, but it was also sounding tired. Much like she was. But, she got to work on this potion that Zakariah wanted them to create, and surprisingly, on her first try, she made one. "Well very nice. I'll take this. Thank you for the help." This made her happy as all holy heck, because that meant that the quest was just one step closer. Though, she wouldn't admit it out loud, she wished that they could have kept the potions that they created. They would help them later one. But, oh well. Just as she got up to leave, she heard the dreaded words. The words that said that their quest wasn't completed yet, which would explain why that didn't flash for her. If she would have been sitting still, she would have dropped her head on the crafting table. But alas, she wasn't, so she opted for an inward sigh instead. Hopefully, this was going to be the end of it though. Koga was the one to answer Zakariah and all she did was a weak little nod. But even Koga was sounded defeated at this point, and that wasn't going to do. So, as they walked, she looked at him and thought for a moment. Hmm... aha! She had a great idea, something that might hopefully cheer him up a little bit. "Okay, so after we finish this. What is your plan? Like I feel like a long bath is in need." Of course, as she said that, she didn't really think on the words, but to someone who wasn't so socially awkward, that might not be how she wanted it to sound. Hopefully this was the last thing they would have to do. One could only hope. "Okay, so after we finish this. What is your plan? Like I feel like a long bath is in need." Noctua said, trying to at least entertain herself and Koga as they walked. "Man, a bath sounds so nice," Koga agreed, not muching much thought into the statement...until he did. Koga's face turned bright red as he suddenly realized the implications of what Noctua had just said. "Uh, you, you didn't mean...you know what, nevermind. Uh, oh hey look! That's the place I think!" Koga found an energy he didn't know he had as he started sprinting towards the blacksmith's shop and knocked on the door. A man soon came out, "Can I help you?" She tried to keep her gaze in front of her, mainly because she was now in a state of awkward embarrassment.
