Username: Azhoda IRL-Name: Azlynn Hoda
Nickname: Az Gender: Female
Age: 21 (Start) Height: 176 cm
Nationality: Japanese Weight: 75
Sexuality: Pan DoB: 08/18

Background

Azlynn was born into a quite loving family, in her eyes, but most would say her parents ignored her. Her father is a renowned researcher, while her mother is a medical doctor working on new medicine. Despite that, Azlynn took after both of them. Being quite brilliant herself, she took up math problems for people way older than her. Yet her world changed quickly when she was in an accident, as she was hit by a bus, causing her to lose all feeling in her legs. She quickly learned to adapt to her new surroundings and the use of a wheelchair.

After some years, she enrolled in an engineering school and seemed to ace her classes heavily. There, she learned a lot about the whole subject, but her interest seemed to steer her towards the engineering of a plane. Her reasoning was, 'If I can't walk freely on the ground, I can always try flying. Despite her parents wanting her to do something else, to maybe follow in her mother's or even her father's footsteps, her stubbornness stood firm and she kept up he engineering classes and even joined a club that was all about the whole engineering of engines and models of planes.

When she graduated, one of her old teachers invited her to the airbase, not too far away from her home, and let her tinker with her own ideas. She met a fellow engineer who was more of a nerd and a tech wiz. Through him, she learned about the whole concept of simulation flying and the world of Virtual reality. Having an interest in a world where one could walk, Azlynn took an interest in it in her downtime while working on her float plane.

Personality

Flaws
  • Oblivious: Az might be one of the more blind or deaf people you will ever find. She tends to take what people say straight away without questioning. Her lack of emotions and understanding of them has left her quick to be blind to what people honestly think. Because of this, she tends to walk past some of the most obvious hints in someone's voice or actions.
  • Aloof: Growing up in her family, love was never really a thing anyone seemed to care about, so Az has not tended to show her emotions to others in any way. While most will call her absent or even cold. There are some ways you might get her to pay attention to you, either by outsmarting her or showing her something she would actually enjoy seeing.
  • Messy: While most would think Az is someone with order and plans, you are in for a surprise. She is highly disorganized and often loses some of her project papers. She forgets to eat and sometimes even washes herself if she gets busy. Her room is always filled with different pieces of paper.

virtues
  • Creative: Az is very creative and always sees if things can be done differently. She tends to seek out ways that might seem out of the box for others, but are very logical. Seeking a way around a problem in creative and innovative ways always, to her, if you haven't tried every option, you haven't tried hard enough.
  • Respectful: Az tends not to show it or seem to care, but those who have left a mark on her are treated with respect. Those who gained her respect are treated very well, and she will even care for them in her own weird way. She gives them a powerful pep talk and tries to lift their spirit in a funny or joking way, even if her humor is extremely dry and hard to understand.
  • Honest: While most would say Az is way too forthright, at least you know what you get when you talk to her. She doesn't hide her reasons or lies about what she is doing, she tends to just say the truth in your face. She doesn't mind when others tell her the truth, and she even respects those who are honest. Just straightforward, no nonsense, just plain old truth and honesty.

Story Of Azhoda

Act I

Spoiler

Azhoda joined the game quickly, moving through quests. Once the game was announced to be a death game, Az didn't panic but tried to find a better way to play more safely and keep going. She was roped into a guild by someone, and she helped them get stronger. Once two of their members got killed and another player went AWOL, she gave up on trying to team up with people and went on her own. Her skills grew, and she got pretty good in combat, purely focusing on her own as a solo player. Yet after a few months of being unable to catch up to the frontline, Azhoda took her chance and just tried to powerlevel. Her old friend warned her of the player who went AWOL because they seemed to have returned with a taste of blood. One day out, while leveling, the old guild member found her, and he wanted to murder her. She tried her best to knock him back, but he was stronger. As she ran, she bumped into another player who fought off her old guildmate but was taken down by him instead. But she was safe.

Act II

Spoiler

Once Azhoda got back home, she changed up her fighting style a bit, using polearms to keep distance between her and the enemy. This worked out well for her, but it felt a bit weird changing up her normal close and personal fighting style, which she had picked up early. She retook her steps and made contact with her friend, who pushed her into making friends with people again. Making some allies here and there as she improved more and more. She learned more about the man who tried to save her and understood why they stood so long against their Old Guild Member. Gaining trust in others made Az stronger, and she fought alongside them. After some time with new allies and friends, she rushed into what seemed to be a glitchy mess. She stayed out of the way of the dangerous area, but her luck had it, she fell and got absorbed into the black void where darkness seemed to greet her with open arms.

Act III

Spoiler

When she woke up suddenly, Az felt like she had missed almost years of her work and progress. Her friends' list seemed to have been messed up, and she found herself in a dungeon with no way to contact anyone...
